What is your least favorite type of pokemon?
You have to choose. I don't wanna hear (OMG I love them all <3 <3). Mine is Fire because the newest Fire pokemon are all boringly designed.

Patrick April 15th, 2013 6:16 PM

Dark. I never saw the point or the appeal. Then again, I haven't played since RSE so I don't know if they've finally made something of it.

Whitney's Shaymin April 15th, 2013 7:04 PM

I hate rock. They bother the hell out of me.

Nolafus April 15th, 2013 8:37 PM

I don't like fire. I've always thought that Charizard (although a great design) was lackluster in power and I thought the overall type itself was weaker. I'm a competitive battler so a lot of my prejudice comes from that and I hardly ever find myself using a fire type pokemon I fully enjoy. Plus it's kind of the main enemy for grass types which is my favorite. Don't get me wrong because I like all the types, but the thread said you have to pick one and for me that's fire.

PlatinumDude April 15th, 2013 8:43 PM

Poison. They don't offer good coverage, though it does offer decent neutral coverage outside of Steels. So far, Nidoking and Scolipede are my exceptions, as they have good movepools.

Yusshin April 15th, 2013 9:08 PM

I'd hafta agree with Rock types. I never us'em. I hat'em. None of them are good or interesting or charming whatsoever. And I hate Geodudes, too, though Roggenrola is worse because it has the Endure abilty - it's a pain in the butt.

Arceus_17 April 15th, 2013 10:02 PM

Normal Type for sure. They're so...normal.

Pokedude3012 April 15th, 2013 10:42 PM

OMG I love them all <3 <3

Nah I'm only joking. I genuinley hate water, cos I never have any grass Pokemon with me.

Tim! April 15th, 2013 11:43 PM

Rock types. I just can't stand them well. If I use them, their attacks seem to miss almost all the time... :( If I go for a rock type I always go for a rock type which has more attacks of its secondary type than rock type attacks.

Talli April 16th, 2013 12:19 AM

Bug types cause most of them have rubbish statss and movesets and only Beedrill takes my fancy.

Shadowraze April 16th, 2013 2:04 AM

Mine is Poison Types.

They will probably have a poison move that can poison your Pokemon. Same goes for Electric Types they have Static and those Discharges can be nasty for paralyzing too.

lynds April 16th, 2013 2:52 AM

I'm gonna go with Rock. I hardly use them.

Elaitenstile April 16th, 2013 3:42 AM

Poison types, cuz these backstabbing venomous jerks have only ONE ADVANTAGE as compared to TWO WEAKNESSES. And the advantage is Grass, which has four other weaknesses thus no need of Poison IMO.

T!M April 16th, 2013 3:53 AM

Dragons... Waaaaay too overrated.

CMPUNK1 April 16th, 2013 9:50 AM

Forms. Ok I know this doesn't count but lots of variations of the same thing is just annoying. I like individual legendary Pokemon but as a complete group I think they have become and overused cash cow for Pokemon to market new games.

Remember how exciting and rare Mew and MewTwo is but now there are so many legendaries that they aren't so legendary and exciting anymore.

Poke Fox April 16th, 2013 3:03 PM

Steel types, don't like many of the Pokemon that are steel types, I have used them never enjoy them. similar with the majority of bug types.

JohnnyJ773 April 16th, 2013 9:07 PM

I don't care for Rock types, I almost never use them.

TheLaserLuke April 16th, 2013 9:14 PM

hmmm Im going to have to say rock, poison, and normal.
Rock because I never use them and I honestly probably never will. They dont interest me whatsoever.
Poison because they are just annoying and they look like rubbish. Besides like 2 or 3 poison pokemon I never use them.
Normal because they are just not interesting. Besides Eevee.

Hiroki Okazaki April 17th, 2013 10:35 PM

I agree with everyone with the rock types i have never saw a use for them for me personally.

KnightFerrocous April 18th, 2013 3:34 PM

Probably Bug. There are only two Bug types I like (Scyther and Heracross) while there are at least three of any other type I like. Plus in the Gen I play the most (3rd) they are really terrible.

Other notable types I hate are Poison because I'm too cheap to actually buy Antidotes and I always get poisoned right after I visit a Pokemon Center and Rock because they are a bit boring.

Nottingham April 18th, 2013 10:33 PM

I guess I would have to say Poison. Looking back, the only Poison type I ever really used in the 12 years playing this series was Crobat. And that was in Black 2 for Bill's sake!
Couldn't Poison have been super effective against Normal and Fighting? It'd be like how humans are susceptible to disease and smelly gym socks, you know? Heck, do it for Bug too; my mom's killed ants with deadly insect poison from Wal-Mart.
Then again, I'm not sure how those would affect the metagame, which I'm unfortunately pretty ignorant about.

I want to say Rock too since all of the Rock types I've used tend to get knocked out easily.

Meeklish April 19th, 2013 7:41 AM

Rock types. I really see no use for them apart from HMs. -3-

That, and bug types, really.. Apart from Volcarona, Scizor, and Heracross.. Well.. I just really didn't enjoy them so much.

Cassino April 19th, 2013 9:04 AM

Fighting, at least until Mienshao the Waifu Pokemon came along. Even then, Fighting is on the whole a boring type, and none of their designs or movepools make me think 'I want that'.

Magnetic April 19th, 2013 9:12 AM

Good question. I'd probably go with dragon, on the simple grounds that none of my favorites are dragon and they seem to be extremely powerful (perhaps overrated? as Timothy said). Lance was always ridiculous in the early games.

For rizzle? I act on the contrary; I usually add Fighting-type Pokémon into my 6th slot while traveling, depending on the game and region. But I can respect that perspective; Fighting inherently doesn't allow for much variety now that I think about it.
