Anyways, what I would do is try using 255 (I know, a lot) revisions and change that byte and list all the ones that will load on the DS properly. Then, from there, list what each hex number does. It might yield some positive results.
The problem is the black screen. The DS is not capable to load positive or negative value in this area (except 00 - or recalculated values) And... that's the only area where we can extend / reassign textures...
The informations blocks contains nothing about textures used.
