Dorm Allegiance has to do with which dorm and students who you preside over outside of class and depending on your dorm allegiance you would give advice to people in your dorm things like that. You could say they dorm alliance means you are a guidance counselor or father figure for the people of that dorm but that doesn't mean you can't help people from other dorms.
