Spoiler:
Name: Valorie Ryder

Nickname: Val

Age: 13

Sex: Female

Dorm: Suicune Dorm

Appearance: Picture Here

Personality
Spoiler:
Valorie is a rather quirky young girl. She seems to be tired on and off and is not all that energetic to boot. She dislikes getting dirty, but will do so anyway if she sees no easy alternative. She wants to become the world's strongest trainee. She's usually pretty nice, but can be a bit of a hotshot and or braggart when she's winning. She is not very modest, and loves to have her ego stroked. Can get very stressed and slightly depressed when she loses. Holds grudges over losses easily, and may seek to challenge someone repeatedly until she wins. Despite some of her less admirable traits, she is rarely cruel and is actually afraid of doing any of the fighting herself. (As in, not with pokemon.) In contrast, she is rarely overly sweet or affectionate either, especially in front of other humans. She is pretty attached to her pokemon however, but will react with severe embarrassment if caught in a gushy moment with them. She secretly misses her parents a lot. She has a tendency to keep her Dratini out of it's pokeball, though there is no deep reason behind this beyond her wanting it's company. This being said, Valorie is slightly difficult to become close to without some actual effort, and sometimes may rub others the wrong way.

History
Spoiler:
Valorie was born and raised in Icirrus City, located in the Unova region. Ever since she was a child she had had a fascination with dragon pokemon. She would often walk north to see Dragonspiral tower, day dreaming about what must be inside. (She of course never so much as attempted to venture inside) According to her parents, she had a tendency to sneak away, and they weren't quite sure how she managed. Whenever asked about her tendency to disappear, Valorie would seemingly feign naivety, and even claim she herself did not know. The only notable pattern was that it had a slight tendency to be during the night. One day, she failed to take caution around the grass growing near the entrance to Dragonspiral Tower and was attacked by a wild Tranquill. Attack is probably a misnomer, however, as the tranquill merely attempted to settle down and perch atop her head. This however did not amuse Valorie, who was very startled by the fairly heavy bird, even moreso when she saw how big it was. She promptly freaked out and ran away, in turn startling the Tranquill which briefly chased her in an irritated fashion before giving up. After telling a sob story to her father about the experience, it was decided that it was about time she got her own pokemon to protect herself. Her father was a traveling man business man. (Where have I heard this before?) Therefore, it was set upon his shoulders to get a pokemon for her. A good week later, he returned with a single pokemon in a pokeball. It was a charmander, and he'd chosen it as Valorie's first pokemon. He had been on a trip to Kanto, and had thought to look for a dragon pokemon for his daughter, but simply had failed to find one within time constraints, going with his second choice instead. Valorie took the pokeball and almost immediately threw it... without activating it. After having the dynamics of using a pokeball explained to her whilst she attempted to pay full attention (With moderate success) she immediately let her Charmander out of it's ball. Having a very high opinion of her father's ability, she was ever so slightly disappointed that he had not in fact somehow managed to get her a dragon pokemon. After a moment though, she became very aware that she was in posession of a fire pokemon. Even with her limited knowledge, she knew very well that fire pokemon tended to do well against ice pokemon, the type her city's Gym Leader used. This in mind, she decided to embrace her newfound friend, both metaphorically and literally, and set off to train to her parents protests of caution. She enjoyed showing off to her friends as she trained, who mainly didn't have pokemon themselves. Her parents became aware of her sneaking out to train when she should be in bed, however, and were not very happy with how obsessed she seemed to be with getting stronger. They attempted to warn her to take care of herself better, but it simply didn't seem to work. Come the day she tried to take on the Gym, she was defeated before ever having reached the Gym Leader, as she simply hadn't invested enough time training yet, even with her exceptionally hard training schedules. She had rushed into the challenge way too fast. Valorie turned out not to be a very graceful loser, and threw a fit, fleeing the Gym. For a while, she refused to try again, believing that she needed to train a lot harder to ever take on the gym. One night in winter, Valorie woke up, finding herself standing back at Dragonspiral tower. At first, she was surprised. She didn't remember coming there. The familiar tower loomed against the starry sky, filling her with memories of what seemed like ages ago, even though it hadn't been all that long. She hadn't come her since she had received her first pokemon. This phenomenon was familiar to her. She had a tendency to go to sleep and wind up in places she didn't remember traveling to. For a moment, she began to brood about why this was, but her thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice, a hushed whisper. She focused her eyes, looking around briefly, not sure if she'd really heard it as she hadn't quite caught what was said the first time. Looking around, she spotted a figure, taller than her, features mostly hidden in the darkness. He/she asked if she was alright, and she nodded. She asked herself why this person was whispering, but put that thought aside as he/she took a few steps in her general direction. Looking back on this event, Valorie couldn't remember if it was a man, a woman, or even much of their features other than that they were tall, and rather skinny, and what they had said. The person proceeded to inform Valorie that she seemed to be a sleep walker. Valorie was startled, but the person went on to calmly explain what that meant. For a time, they talked. It turned out he/she was also a fan of dragon pokemon, but that they were a far more experienced trainer than Valorie herself. At some point during the coversation, Valorie bemoaned that she herself owned no dragon pokemon. She wasn't sure in her tired stupor, but she thought she may have heard a chuckle in response. The person then asked if she could do him/her a favor. Valorie wasn't exactly in a position to be giving, but asked him "Like what?" out of politeness. To her surprise, he/she asked her if she could take the egg of one of his pokemon, as he/she did not have the time to be raising it themself, and happened to be looking to give it to a good home. Said person, of course, probably did not know that Valorie was a runaway. He/she then went on to explain that it was the egg of a dragon pokemon. Somewhere during this part of the conversation, Valorie was pulled a bit further into consciousness by her excitement. She immediately replied yes in a rash manner. The stranger did take notice of this, and insisted on going over how he wanted the pokemon to be taken care of, and never to be neglected. After hearing the person out, Valorie agreed in a more respectable manner and was handed an egg. At the time, she was no longer concerned with the person's appearance, and was too busy observing the egg she was being handed with great wonder as the stranger approached and handed it to her. She was promptly instructed to keep it warm and safe. Valorie decided to take off her beanie cap and put it on the egg, figuring that if it kept her head and ears warm, it must be able to keep the egg warm too, and simply held it in her arms. She and the stranger talked a bit more, where the stranger told her a bit about some of the battles and challenges they'd faced, before they quietly departed, leaving Valorie with good wishes. Her attention no longer being stimulated, she looked back at Dragonspiral Tower, allowing it's mystery to fill her imagination once more. When she turned to go she realized that her Charmander was not with her. She realized she must have left it behind when she went sleep walking, and promptly snuck her way back home with her new egg. Charmander had at this point woken up and realized it's trainer was gone. She was re-united with Charmander at her front door. She was impressed that it had been waiting for her. Even though she now had a dragon egg, she still valued her first pokemon quite a bit. At a later date of little significance, the egg hatched into a Dratini. Somewhere around this point, Valorie's father suggested she go to a Pokemon Trainer's school. Having quite a bit of respect for her father, Valorie decided to do exactly that, which resulted in her getting accepted into the academy. It was of course a long trip getting there, but she was willing. As of current, Valorie pretty much lives at the school now.

Mark Wilson
Spoiler:
SU
Spoiler:
Name: Mark Willson

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Dorm: Raikou Dorm

Appearence: Under the yellow dorm jacket that he has to wear, Mark sports a Purple V neck t shirt along with gray jeans and a belt to support them. Mark sports a black Fauxhawk hair style, which he takes good care of. He's well fit, and very skinny but considering his hobby, he's fine with being scrawny. He prefers walking around barefoot but he will wear White slide on sneakers whenever he has to, such as for classes.

Personality: Mark is a very smooth and calm person. It takes alot of effort to make him mad as he'll shrug off any sort of comment thrown at him. In classes however, Mark is very disorganized and often stressed out. This results in him being late for his classes very often. While he cares about what he's learning, He just usually doesn't feel like studying or really putting effort into written work. Teachers could see him as a real slacker or a bum. Hands on work however, he excels in and he considers this kind of work his favorite.

Being a calm guy, He often looks at the positives in life. If he were to fail a test, He would just move on and not worry. There would always be a next time. This mindset isn't exactly the greatest to have, But Mark digresses and continues on with his work. He's easy to be friends with, and will usually be the one to start the conversation.

Even though he can be a cool guy to know, He does like to be mischievous when given the opportunity. He will often like to bend the rules and explore a little bit himself. If a sign says "Access forbidden", Mark will see it as an open invitation for both himself and Snype.

His knowledge of Pokemon is somewhat average. He knows the basic weaknesses of a Pokemon but hasn't really gotten to know many strategies. Thankfully he can easily relate with his Pokemon and has been good friends with them. He relates to his sableye the best though. He prefers having Pokemon that look out of the ordinary. Another Problem he usually faces is remembering his Pokemon's moves, so he will often have a small notepad that has a list of what his Pokemon can use. He tends to be clever with battle strategies when in battle.

History: Mark and his family lived in Celedon city for most of their life. His family wasn't exactly the best one ever. His mom was fine, but his father had a severe Gambling addiction. Lucky for them though, Lady luck seemed to be fond of Mark's father, as he had won big several times. While his dad was busy gambling all of his money, Mark's mom would often take him up to Cerulean to get away from all of the activity. It was here where Mark caught his first two Pokemon.

Mark's first Pokemon was a Sableye, odd since it was native to Hoenn but there just so happened to be a swarm of them near cerulean. Now around this time, He was only 10 years old. Being protective of her child, Mark's mother kept an eye on him when trying to catch a wild Sableye. His mother only had one Pokemon on her. A Poliwag that she had caught awhile back when fishing. After encountering one of the Sableye, The Poliwag was able to combat it successfully and weaken it enough to allow Mark to catch his first Pokemon. Mark was also allowed to own his mother's Poliwag as well. They were named Snype, and Len.

Snype loved the city environment in Celedon City. He felt at home and appreciate the hospitality he was given. Len wasn't so fond of the water there though what with the pollution around Celedon. However, They both became good friends to Mark.

Mark's dad had struck gold in his constant years of gambling. He had enough coins to get a Porygon from the game corner... At least... that's what his dad said. For all Mark knew, the Porygon could have been stolen. The other confusing bit was that Mark's dad had given him the very same Porygon. To get rid of the evidence? Or was it really a gift? It was an interesting Pokemon either way, and a welcome addition to the team.

Mark is now age 14 and with the new Pokemon academy, He was willing to learn how he could use his Pokemon in battle as well as make some new friends.

Skye Odell
Spoiler:
SU
Spoiler:
Name: Skylar Odell (You will almost never hear him called that.

Nickname: Skye

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Dorm: Entei

Appearance: Skye has short, auburn hair frequently called windswept and sandy brown skin. His face is slightly freckled and his eyes are a muted shade of turquoise. He is slightly over five feet, having not quite hit his growth spurt yet. His limbs are long and lean from running from his brother and Zorua. Skye wears a thin grey long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans with frayed sleeve ends. His socks are usually black and Skye has white gym shoes to finish it off. Sometimes, if you look closely enough, you can see the crystal pendant around his neck.

Personality: Skye's a very strange sort of character. He appears very timid and does not like looking others in the eyes. He says very little to others and most of the time his words are half-finished or mumbled as he looks down at his feet. Perhaps it is because of his stutter. The more wound-up or emotional he gets, the worse it comes out. Yet when everyone else is in a panic or doesn't understand what's going on, he's actually quite calm. Skye rolls with the punches then and tries his best to help out, even if his struggle to speak messes with him.

Skye doesn't appreciate pity or any other emotion or the sort. He thinks it hurts more than any rude words. Skye loves his Pokemon because they don't always need his words to understand him. He works very hard but looks very despondent even when he's happy. Most of the time he just stays quiet and out of the way. It's not like people will want to talk to him anyhow, at least that's how it seems.

History: Skye was born in Unova, in Nacrene City. His mother was a trainer in the Gym for Lenora and his father was an artist who even had a few pieces of work sent ahead to Castelia. He had an older brother, who frequently chased him around the house for fun. However, he hasn't seen Cameron in three years, which makes him wonder where the boy went after his trainer journey started. He does know the young man became rather famous but that's it really. Skye has no idea why he stutters but doctors suspect it was due to the time his mother got mugged in an alley. They knocked herself and her son into a wall and he hit his head. He tries not to really think about why.

Nacrene was a tiny city, not exactly the best place to get an education on Pokemon. But Lenora was a smart person and regularly taught small classes in the library next door to the Gym. To encourage him to go, his parents gave him Ellie. Or rather, he found Ellie and picked her. He already liked Pokemon; he just didn't know he wanted to battle with them. At first, people made fun of him but because he never reacted, the teasing just faded away and turned into a strange sort of group. They weren't friends but they got along pretty well. It was during a lesson, a trip through Pinwheel Forest, that Skye literally ran into Zorua. The boy had thought he was another kid and tried to get him to come back with them, thinking he was a new student. But he got so tongue-tied trying to explain this that Zorua turned back, thinking he was having trouble breathing. He was, but not too much. Zorua decided to follow him back, make sure he didn't die. Then he decided not to leave.

His parents heard about the Pokemon Trainer Academy from Cameron, who had visited there at one point. Cameron gave Skye Larvesta as an egg and the idea to go. Skye wanted to: it wasn't like he couldn't do his speech therapy there. He knew none of the others would really miss him. When he took the exam, the written portion went excellently. Unfortunately the physical did not. It required shouted commands and he was not good at those.

Ciel Vespera
Spoiler:
SU
Spoiler:
Name: Ciel Vespera
Nickname: N/A
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Dorm: Suicune

Personality: Ciel seems very quiet, the quiet that indicates a lack of confidence. It's mostly around humans, who he's had very little interaction with, due to being in a small private school and the early years of his life were spent away from him. He isn't particularly wild, but people scare him and he works hard to not be noticed by others. He believes it's safer. Very few people can talk to him without him instantly looking away and shaking like a mess. Those people are mostly around his own age (or his little brother), including overly protective Miranda Ambera. He seems like a bit of a crybaby, easily overwhelmed. However, Pokemon fix that problem, mostly. If he talks to the Pokemon, he shows few of the issues he shows around humans. He's still shy, but people he's not used to can manage a conversation if he speaks with the Pokemon first. He's not an expert with Pokemon but he can definitely talk with them better than humans. HE will sometimes say things that are unusual, very matter-of-fact, and they usually end up true. HE knows how odd he sounds.

Ciel is actually rather pragmatic, understanding he was a pretty good target. He has taken care of people who make fun of him by being that way, actually kicking another kid's teeth in while he was being teased. He normally doesn't stand up for himself but instead gets in the way of others being trampled on. It's pure impulse in all honesty. He doesn't understand why he does it. Maybe this journey will teach him. Ciel is frequently hit with insomnia and will spend most of his time staring up at the night sky. He usually sleeps during the day not long afterward. He cares for Pokemon a lot and isn't afraid of them, even the most terrifying or evil. Ciel believes that they are good as well and will only harm him if he does something wrong.

Appearance: Ciel is an olive-skinned male at 87 pounds and at 4'11 inches, around the average for a male his age. He has long, shaggy, stringy black hair that falls messily over his head and eyes, hiding the orbs behind his bangs. He does brush it but it still falls like that anyway. His eyes are a deep solemn grey, almost constantly in the deer-in-headlights look when around people. He is nimble and lean, yet looks roughly around the age of a rookie trainer. It likely has to do with his behavior. On his left hand is a swirled sort of bookmark, seeming to have no significance. Honestly don't ask Ciel; he won't know.

He dresses in natural modesty, not that he understands that. He has a red and blue string anklet with black beads weaved in resting on his right ankle and a silver hoop in his left earlobe. Ciel wears a sleeveless grey shirt under a black hooded jacket. The jacket is usually left open and has white stitching in its pockets. On the right side is a Spell Tag stitched on to the hoodie. His pants are blue cargo pants and undecorated, his shoes and dirty. His shoelaces are in need of replacement, the white laces almost destroyed. The sneakers are sea-blue except for the laces and the soles. His hands are covered in black, fingerless gloves.

History: Ciel was born in Viridian City to a quiet mother and flighty father. The man loved his family for certain, but he preferred the life of wandering. Ciel's mother never forgave that and divorced not long after, a friend of the family becoming his stepdad. Ciel never knew it was any different. At least, not until he turned ten. But by then it didn't matter. Ciel's mother was a Lavender Town citizen until her marriage, so she was a devout believer in respecting the dead and of ghosts, having been able to sense things most didn't, a gift she had passed on to her son. Until he was five, his mother quietly supervised his visits to the Viridian Forest, either personally or with her Kadabra. Since he was little, he played with his best friend Miranda or by himself. Most children were forbidden to enter the Forest. So he was used to Pokemon and barely knew many humans.

When he turned six, he was signed up with Miranda at the Pokemon Public School in Viridian. It was his first meeting with more than a few people. He thought it would be uncomfortable but okay. Ciel couldn't have been more wrong. It was too exciting and loud, there were too many people, and he was quickly overwhelmed by the noise. It took the school the whole day to find him curled up under a tree trunk, trembling at the outskirts of the Indigo Plateau. How he had gotten there unscathed would have been a mystery if not for the Pokemon growling at anyone who came within a five foot radius.

His mother took action and moved back to her hometown and enrolled him in the private school. Of course, Miranda had to tag along, refusing to leave her best friend behind. This helped immensely and slowly, he began to overcome his social phobia, though it never did go away. The teasing didn't either, until he fought back, courtesy of Pokemon encouragement. Ciel usually avoided that however, keeping to himself. The fact that a majority of the kids there were quiet and focused, not the same in their excitement as in Viridian, gave Ciel more encouragement. In school, he excelled, to everyone's surprise. However, what caught the Academy's attention wasn't his school work but his small fame as a psychic. Miranda hated it but Ciel's mother encouraged him to go despite her own misgivings. HE got top marks in the exam on both parts, due to the individual sessions in his school. He has been on the Island since the first day, but has gone mostly unnoticed.

Spoiler:
Name: Maxwell Leggingsteele

Nickname: Max

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Dorm: Entei

Appearance:
Maxwell has short, spiky, dark-brown hair, deep-green eyes, a "normal" sized nose, and "normal" sized ears.
He doesn't have anything that makes him stand out in public really.
He often wears his favourite t-shirt,(a gray one with a pixelated white skull on the front) black jeans, a green hoodie with the text: 'Johto 4 ever' on the back, and black Converse shoes.
He is often seen eating thing, but despite this he isn't obese at all.

His entire right leg is black as soot due to an accident he experienced when he was younger.

Personality:
Maxwell is easy-going, and really lazy. He is mostly found eating, relaxing with his Pokémon or sleeping.
Maxwell is very socially competent and is really good at making friends, even though he doesn't seem like it, he is pretty smart(but due to his lazieness this is rarely seen).
Maxwell is also a rule-bound person who often sees things directly black and white, this doesn't make him a boring person though, rather the opposite.
Surprisingly enough he is good at stealing things, he is often very clumsy but when he feels like it, he has ninja-like stealth-abilities.
If anyone is depressed about something Maxwell will try to cheer them up, no matter what it is.
He is also very naive and honest, which often leads to him being fooled by others.
Maxwell tends to whine a lot when somebody asks him to do something while he himself is doing something that he thinks is important.
Due to him being lazy he is also extremely slow and people tends to get annoyed with him easily. Which is why he was bullied most of his life.
Despite his slow, easy-going personality, he is stubborn as a mule and if he wants something really bad, he gets it.
Maxwell is however really scary if he is angered and once released, his fury knows no bounds.

History:
Maxwell was born and raised in Ekcruteak City, Johto.
His father worked at Morty's gym, taking care of Ghost-Pokémon and judging battles. His mother was a member of the Kimono-girls dancing group, which made him interested in dancing.
The other boys in the city bullied and teased him because of this, so he never had a real human friend.
So one day, on his 10th birthday his father gave him two eggs.
Maxwell was already then interested in Pokémon eggs and gladly took care of them until they both hatched.
One of them was an Eevee and the other one was a Charmander.
He named the Eevee 'Umber' since he always wanted an Umbreon and he named the Charmander 'Zard'.
Every day after that Maxwell trained and trained to become the Johto regional Champion because this was his new dream.
One night Zard evolved into a Charmeleon, at first everybody was happy but then Zard went amok for some reason and scorched Maxwell's right leg.
Umber then evolved into a Umbreon in order to protect Maxwell. After Zard realized what he'd done, he ripped his chest open with his claws. Zard was quickly rushed into the nearest Pokémon-center and survived. But he got a nasty scar on his chest as a result. Maxwell explained to Zard that he didn't blame him, "You just couldn't handle the evolution so well, I'm sorry." Maxwell said.
But one day many years later, he heard about a new academy opening on an island not far from Kanto. So Maxwell asked his parents for permission to go and they said yes, so he packed his bags and left Umber and Zard at home to guard his family in case something would happen.

Kenshin Ren

Spoiler:
Name (First, Middle-optional and Last): Kenshin Ren

Nickname (Optional): None currently

Age (10-15): 13

Gender (Male or Female): Male

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm):
Entei

Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish):
Brown hair, Dark Green Eyes, Caucasian. If he's not wearing his dorm jacket he'll usually wear a black jacket with red stripes on it. He'll usually alternate between them from time to time depending on his mood. (Unlike most characters in Anime who wear the same outfit every day this guy actually bothers to change his outfit XDDD)

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): 5 lines minimum
Kenshin is usually very modest and shy around other people. He's usually socially awkward since this is his first year at the academy. He usually was comfortable with a group of friends he had back home for years but now he's just slowly adjusting to life at the academy.
In addition, he tends to be a little hesitant with having pokemon battles with strangers. With his friends he could battle them just fine because he felt better around them, same with wild pokemon too, but otherwise he will be hesitant and some times turn down a challenge. Mainly because he is a little paranoid his pokemon might get too injured battling an academy student.

As a result of his social awkwardness, sometimes he'll spend his time working on really impressive Secret Bases using Secret Power, only for himself and hsi pokemon to hang out in.

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What have the been doing before this? Any noteworthy events? What brought them to the academy?): 10 lines minimum
Kenshin wasn't a very outgoing kid at first. His parents got him a pikachu when he was younger, hoping it might help him be inspired enough to try and meet other kids with pokemon. Just to help him get a few friends. What they didn't realize though was how serious Kenshin became at taking care of his pokemon or just how close he would become to taking care of his pokemon. Pikachu pretty much became Kenshin's first friend in his own opinion. After a while, Kenshin met a group of other kids with trainers and they made a pretend group of trying to pretend to be trainers. As time went on though, they became more and more serious about it until eventually their group did become a small young pokemon trainer group where they tried helping each other train their pokemon to the best of their abilities. While it didn't go exactly as his parents expected to, they were still glad he was able to develope some human friends and supported him and his group. One main way they did this was by giving him a Pokedex. The Pokedex pretty much helped him become a little bit more involved in the group since no one in the group was old enough at the time to recieve a pokedex and pokemon at age 10 just to go on a pokemon trainer adventure, so this was somewhat an important piece of equipment for the group to use. Even then, Kenshin would tend to do a little extra looking into on his own with a little help from his parents and a few older trainers he'd get a chance to meet every now and then when it came to training his Pikachu. Eventually this determination was what helped him teach his Pikachu Volt Tackle and later capture and train his other two pokemon, Torchic and a red Dratini. Another thing he did for the group was that he would have his torchic help him make really good secret bases for them to use for their private hangouts. (like way beyond average of what you see most people do with Secret power)

He just got accepted into the Pokemon Trainer Academy recently, much to his parents help. They thought it would give him a chance to become a better pokemon trianer and hopefully help him become a bit more outgoing than before.

Name (First, Middle-optional and Last): Takumi Ryuuhiko

Nickname (Optional):

Age (10-15): 14

Gender (Male or Female): Male

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm):
Suicune
Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish):
Black hair, well groomed. He is taller than most boys his age usually should be. Caucasian. Sharp looking dark red eyes. Athletic Build. A somewhat handsome well chizeled face that's still maturing.
Outfit wise, Takumi wears a white coat with long coat tails that was made from his old Lugia Dorm Jacket with a mess of other altercations and aesthetic changes, and if promted to wear a school jacket, he will choose this jacket over any of the other dorm jackets. He'll wear dark purple pants, white shoes, a long dark red scarf and a violet shirt.

Another outfit he tends to wear is a black overcoat with a burgundy turtleneck, black pants, and black shoes.

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): 5 lines minimum

Takumi is somewhat cool and level headed, and in someways behaves and acts almost a lot more maturely than normally expected of most students his age. Some credit it to the specialized schools he went to, some say it was because of his upbringing in a wealthy and "civilized" home. However his maturity over time was a result of seeking approval from his parents. In some ways his quest for knowledge and seeking hsi parents' approval has caused him to develope a belief that if he was to become a great trainer, or in a more literal sense, if he was to achieve great power, his parents would finally accept him. However, over the years, he slowly began to become somewhat cold as he felt his parents had been to him. He wishes for the power and knowledge that he may one day use to remove the Lugia dorm of all the pokemon haunting it. In regards to Pokemon Battles he is cold and calculating, sometimes looking down on opponents weaker than him, but fully aware of his limits and not daring to challenge a trainer he knows has more experienced pokemon than his own. Over all, no matter what pokemon he is up against, he becomes brutal and cold hearted, often injuring his opponent pokemon to the point some trainers would consider "going too far" or "cruel". He basically shows no mercy to his opponents until he is aware his opponent can no longer fight any more.

His desire for knowledge has lead him to do a lot of private research on his own within the libraries on various subjects, and even on the Pokemon discovered in the Lugia Dorm. His quest for knowledge as well as his upbringing has made him very cultured.

He can be sociable and polite, provided he can be somewhat difficult and critical of others from time to time. He is usually rude to those he views being "less mature" than he is, and tends to prefer the company of those who are, in his opinion, "on (his) level of maturity."

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What have the been doing before this? Any noteworthy events? What brought them to the academy?): 10 lines minimum

Takumi was born into a wealthy family. However at a young age he seemed to develope a unique psychic gift. His parents had him attend a very private school for psychic students to teach them how to better manage their skills so as to help them better adapt to society. It was at this school that Takumi developed a desire and love for learning, and as a result decided to focus his new appreciation for knowledge on a subject all people study at one point or another. Pokemon. As of such he was enrolled in the Pokemon Trainer Academy as a student of the Lugia Dorm before it was haunted. Takumi's parents were afraid his powers were the cause of this, so they pulled him out of the Academy after all the Lugia students were relocated to the Suicune dorm. Takumi then spent the next few years at another school that would be able to help him and his parents better understand his psychic gift further as well as hopefully help Takumi develope his skills as a pokemon trainer. Academic wise, his parents paid for tutors to help him keep in touch with his academics.

Three years have passed since Takumi was pulled out of the Academy, and now he has returned this year in hopes of better proving himself to his parents, and showing them he will not become a disgrace or failure to his family.

Takumi's time from the academy helped him grow and mature from what most people would have guessed if they saw him then and now. However, Takumi's psychic powers have grown since his last visit to the academy, to the point that now he can use telepathy to battle and train his pokemon. He now seeks to become stronger, and achieve the strength necessary to earn his parents' approval. At the same time, he wishes to find out what truly caused that incident at the Lugia Dorm to happen 3 years ago, and prove once and for all to his parents he isn't some "freak".

Name: Olivia Wolf

Nickname: "Olive", "The Flirt"

Age: ≈14

Gender: Female

Dorm: Entei

Appearance: Picture

Personality Olivia is defined mostly by one trait, her deep desire to love and be loved. One could call her romantic in the sense that it is the emotional aspect she so desires, though the intensity with which she pursues this goal might cause her to come off as a pervert. It would also be untrue to say she does not desire love on a physical level, though the desire is not quite as strong. She is almost constantly looking for someone of interest, and she isn't exactly very picky . She is a somewhat relaxed trainer, only training as a hobby. She has no real desire to be the best, and training seems to be of mostly social appeal to her. She usually refuses to evolve her pokemon, under the belief that she would rather them remain cute so that 'others will underestimate them'. She is a rather feminine girl, though on ocassion she is known to attempt to act like a tomboy in order to attract the attention of others. Overall, Olivia is easy to get along with on the condition that one can tolerate being flirted with. She is both relatively unselfish and good natured. Her main flaw would probably be her clinginess and the sheer desperation with which she persues love.

History: Olivia was born and raised in a middle class family from Sinnoh. As a kid she spent her time reading romance novels, which she got /really/ into as one might suspect. Her parents were rather concerned when she started obsessing over love and romance at an age typically considered too early to be thinking about such things. However, it was no more and no less than a mysterious obsession that she would carry into her teens. Needless to say, her parents were rather hesitant to give her pokemon because they wanted her to train because she liked it, not because it was cool. However, whilst on a family trip to hoenn they caved in and got Olivia her first pokemon when opportunity presented itself in the form of a wild ralts. Her parents caught the wild ralts for her, but it soon adapted to it's new younger trainer, forming an emotional bond. To Olivia's parent's surprise the ralts seemed to be the 'older sibling' in the relationship in that they started noticing Myra leading Olivia around instead of the other way around. If it weren't for the fact that Myra was also extremely protective of her trainer they probably would've been more concerned. Instead they allowed Myra to develop into the pseudo sister Olivia never had. It didn't take a great deal of time before Olivia's parents decided to give Olivia a second pokemon to introduce her to the concept of raising multiple pokemon. This time she recieved a Piplup. She would later aquire a Skitty as a prize from a local unofficial pokeathlon. However, as it turned out Majolica Town grew too small for Olivia. She wanted to travel the world in search of love. Her parents needless to say weren't exactly thrilled about this. As a compromise they told her that if she wanted to travel the world she needed to go to school and learn how to become a better trainer so that she could be self-sufficient on her own. Olivia actually agreed to this, and thus her first destination on her quest was Oak Island, to become a student.

Name: Selene Evans

Nickname: Sel; Evans

Age (10-15): 14

Gender (Male or Female): Female

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm): Entei Dorm

Appearance: Striking would be the best way to describe Selene's appearance. Long, straight jet black hair and chocolate brown eyes and tanned skin. In terms of her clothing, she's more practical than stylish, wearing a plain white tank top, khaki shorts, bright pink Converses and a pink backpack. Oh, and the Lapras pendant and Sapphire ring that her father gave her, she never takes these off.

Personality: When you first meet her, Selene can seem quite shy. She's reserved and prefers to take a back seat in any group, observing and listening until she feels comfortable enough to come out of her shell. Once you know her, however, you'd think she'd undergone a complete personality transformation - bubbly, laid-back and sociable, the word most often used to describe Selene is 'fun.'

But beware - do not cross her. She's laid back...to an extent. Make her really angry or hurt anyone she cares about and you will know about it. She is very loyal and trustworthy to those she loves, but she can also be quite stubborn at times, and will argue out even the most trivial of points if she feels it matters and she thinks she is right.

History: Born in Hawaii to a Hawaiian/Russian mother and a Filipino father, Selene was named after the Roman Goddess of the Moon - her mother is an expert on Ancient History and loves Roman Mythology. Both parents have pokemon in their lives, and always encouraged Selene to treat pokemon as friends, with love and kindness as she would give to her family. Her father's Lapras was Selene's best friend as a child - Selene grew up in a remote area of Hawaii and didn't have many friends her own age locally. Tragically, Lapras was murdered by an armed gang in a robbery on their house, and Selene wears her Lapras pendant day and night in memory of her friend.

When she turned 14, Selene heard whispers of a new Pokemon trainer Academy that was opening. Her parents had been discussing getting her a pokemon of her own, and to Selene this seemed the perfect opportunity for her. So, headstrong and forthright as ever, Selene marched over the Veranda, into the lounge where her parents were talking and insisted that she be sent to the Academy. After an initial 'no!' and a lot of pleading and bargaining and crying and shouting later, her father sighed. "Okay Selene...you may go. On one condition," he held out a pokeball and smiled, "you look after your new pokemon." Selena released her pokemon with tears in her eyes, and as she looked at her Riolu, she felt her heart expand with joy.

With her bags packed and Riolu at her side, Selene is ready to venture out to the Academy, to learn all there is to know about the world of Pokemon.

Name (First, Middle-optional and Last): Alice Crenshaw

Nickname (Optional):

Age (10-15): 12

Gender (Male or Female): Female

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm): Entei Dorm

Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish): Picture Link

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?):

Being part of a happy, loving family has made Alice a very cheerful girl. She is what you usually call a good person: nice to others, helpful, friendly. That kind of stuff. When things get ugly, she will try to find the bright side of the situation, no matter how bad it is. She hates violence and will try to find a peaceful solution to all fights. Another thing is that she believes that even in the darkest heart there is some good, and that noone is purely evil.
After reading the last paragraph, I bet you think Alice is the perfect child. Well, no. Nobody is. Everyone has a dark side, even Alice. But her dark side isn't one that would hurt other people on purpose, but one that actually forces her to hold back and won't let her reach her full potential. Alice is not very self-confident, and every time she makes a decision she will question it, many times. This, coupled with the inability to work well when under pressure, can make her feel nervous (and even panic) and feel bad about herself.

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What have they been doing before this? Any noteworthy events? What brought them to the academy?):

Alice was born in Celadon City, Kanto. Her mother died after giving birth to her and she was adopted by her mother’s closest friend and her husband. They named the baby girl Alice after her recently deceased mother and decided not to tell her about her biological parents, and to this very day she believes her adoptive family is her real one.
Alice lived in Celadon until she was three, when her new family moved to Nimbasa City in Unova, where she would spend the next 9 years of her life. Her childhood was a happy one, she would go to the courts, the amusement park and the Musical very often, and during this time she started to get interested in Pokémon, and wanted one of her own. That is why, for her fifth birthday, her father caught a Solosis for her, which wasn’t like any other Solosis. Alice and the Solosis, who she named Jello, quickly became friends, and over the years the two developed a close bond that allowed them to communicate via their minds. Alice’s parents noticed this, let’s say, “skill” that their adoptive daughter had, and were impressed. They found out about Oak’s Trainer Academy and she immediately liked the idea. She studied really hard for the exam with the help of her parents, and would have gotten to the Suicune Dorm if it wasn't for...well, her lack of self-confidence.

Name: Nika Valentine

Nickname: n/a

Age (10-15): 14

Gender: Female

Dorm: Suicune Dorm

Appearance: Nika is slightly shorter than average for her age, with a slim build and short, scruffy blonde hair and pale skin. Her large eyes are a dark brown, lending a somber cast to her otherwise cheerful appearance. Nika favours wearing flatcap hats and boyish clothing, leading to many people mistaking her for a boy. She also wears thick framed spectacles that further detract from a feminine appearance. Overall, she could be confused with a nerdish, slightly quirky boy.

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): Nika is a quiet girl who often keeps her thoughts to herself, preferring to let others talk or argue. She is happy to express her thoughts and opinions, but will not try and sway others. She believes everyone will hold their own counsel regardless. She is determined to become the best, and would prefer to train or battle than goof around. Although she likes to believe she will do anything to achieve her goals, there are limits due to a deeply engrained sense of empathy.

History: Nika is from Icirrus City in the Unova region, the daughter of a chef (her father) and a pokemon trainer (her mother). Bullied relentlessly as a child for her reserved nature and unusual interests Nika grew up unsure of herself and with great insecurities. Her solace was pokemon, taking a strong interest due to the influence of her mother who had entered the Unova League on multiple occassions. Nika held a special interest for Bug type pokemon, which her mother disdained due to their generally being viewed as weaker than other types and best only for beginning trainers.Nika however admired them for their sudden bursts of growth and rapid changes, evolving from something initially small and weak to something grand, taking this on as an analogy for her own hopes. After her tenth birthday, when Nika hoped to start her own pokemon journey and leave behind the town in which she had suffered so much ridicule, her mother gifted her with an Eevee, an incredibly rare pokemon in the Unova region. She believed that with such a versatile pokemon her daughter may come to realise the uses of types other than Bug Pokemon and was horrified when Nika traded it for a relatively common Joltik. The tension that resulted between the two meant that Nika left Icirrus City on far more unpleasant terms than she had intended, to see Professor Juniper. The closer Nika got to seeing the Professor, the more her mother began to call her and resume contact, believing that since the Professor would only give her daughter a Grass, Fire or Water type and that Nika had chosen to go to her she had realised the error of her Bug Maniac ways.Nika chose a Snivy, and immediately sought out a trade, obtaining a Larvesta in exchange. Her mother has not spoken to her since, frustrated by her daughters wilfull stubborn nature. Nika understands her mothers position but does not feel it is her place to change it with words alone.Nika continued her journey for some time longer, catching a Shelmet on her travels, until she heard of the Pokemon Trainer Academy. Eager to leave painful Unova behind her and start a fresh chapter of her life and journey she enrolled, passing all entrance exams with flying colours.

Name: Brian Jameson

Nickname: Bri

Age: 10

Gender: Male

Dorm: Entei Dorm (He aced the written part, but refused to do they practical part)

Appearance: A short boy, he has a round face full of life. He has bright blue eyes, and a smile is always on his face. He has long light brown hair. So long in fact that people have mistaken him for a girl sometimes. He wears Blue jeans that are a little too big for him and a White T-shirt with the logo of a pokeball on it. It has a few small rips in it.His shoes are a pair of dirt and grime covered things. They used to be white, but are now a shade of brown.

Personality: Brian is a very happy person. He has a tendancy to make people smile just by looking at him. He is very naive, however this adds to his charm. He is a little forgetful about the unimportant things. He always takes the time out to help people. He tries to make friends with everyone, and usually keeps those friends. He is very open and easy to talk to, and listens very well. He is more than a little clumsy, especially around girls. He is almost impossible to anger, but he scares very easily. He'll more likely run from a battle than fight. He Tries his hardest, but let's face it, he's kind of a slow learner. He can even be a little helpless sometimes, although he tries to be self-sufficent.

He really starts to shine when he deals with pokemon. He was born with the ability to understand what pokemon say. He is unaware that not many people, if no other people at all have this ability. He doesn't like to battle, and isn't very good at it. Although he has a lot of talent caring for pokemon, he is a rookie trainer. He doesn't know the first thing about the the gyms, or type match-ups or anything.

History: Brian grew up in Hoenn, but was born in Unova. As I said before, he had the ability to understand what any pokemon is saying. When he was three, he formed a very close bond with his only pokemon, a wild Snivy. When his family had to move, they left the wild Snivy behind. Snivy, however, climbed into the bags and went with them. Brians father, upon seeing the Snivy, caught him in a pokeball and gave him to Brian. The two have been inseperable ever since. While Brian was in Hoenn, he made friends with many of the children there. They were a lot older than him, so they left him behind to go on their pokemon journeys, a fact that made him sad. He has six older brothers, and his family can't afford to get him new things, so he gets the hand-me-downs. As the youngest of his siblings and only one who has shown any interest in pokemon, his parents have decided to send him to the school. They also have informed Professer Oak about his unusual ability.

Age (10-15):15

Gender (Male or Female): Male

Dorm (Raikou Dorm, Entei Dorm or Suicune Dorm): Raikou Dorm

Appearance (A picture will do but describe what he/she wears otherwise and any other information): 1 Paragraph

Quin is kind of tall for his age. He is very skinny, and has almost no body fat. His hair is a wild tangled mess of red that goes halfway down his back and spikes around his head. His eyes are dark grey, and are very shifty and untrusting. He constantly has an expression of confusion, amusement, and joy. He wears long pants that resemble kaki slacks. His shirt is a green polo shirt with an odd emblem on them. He wears a silver ring with the same emblem.

Personality (How does your character act? Do people enjoy being around you?: 2 Paragraphs

Quin hears voices in his mind, and constantly bickers with them. This leads to some odd one-sided conversations with himself. When he's not arguing with himself, he's usually ranting about some wild crazy conspiresy(I think I spelled that right.) or another. Theories you have only to ask about and he'll tell you every little detail. If he's ever right with them, it's merely coincidence.

Also, he's very outgoing, and will impose himself and his theories on anyone that even shows a slight interest in him. Quin is very confident and honest, even with his theories, which he truly believes in. He will debate everything furiously, but will back down if he loses the debate.

When the voices win on certain arguements, he adopts an entirely different personality. While normally, Quin is relatively harmless, Zaraneth, his split personality, is downright aggressive. Zara, as he likes to be called, will not hesitate to use violence to get his point across. Like Quin, he fights for what he believes in, and is very protective of those he considers his allies. The way to tell when Zara is in charge is when He suddenly goes silent.

History (Where did you grow up? Why you decided to go to the trainer school? Family? Etc..): 3 Paragraphs

Quin's father is the owner of a very large medical firm. As such, he and his family are very rich. When he was 25, he met the girl of his dreams and the two of them got married and had a son. They named him Quincy Zaraneth Marley Doreen.

Quin was the third in his family to be named this. His mother and father were cousins once removed they got married and had a child before they found out they were related. Horrified, they kept it a secret and wanted to hide their son. Due to their vast wealth, they were successful in keeping his existance a secret. It was clear that Quin had been effected by this, as he developed his severe mental problems. He also began to use the internet to learn all of his wild theories.

At the age of ten, his parents bought him a wide selection of pokemon to give him a companion. Being the person he is, he selected three pokemon to protect him from the aliens that were after him. He began training for the battles he knew were ahead of him. At the age of fifteen he learned of Professor Oak's Academy, and this fell in line with one of the few theories he was actually right about, so he set off in the dead of night to join the school. Due to an encounter with the aliens, he missed the ferry to the island and had to get there on his own.

Age (18+): 19

Gender (Male or Female): Male

Job(What subject do they teach? Battle Theory, Breeding 101, etc): Draco is not a teacher, he is the daycare man of Oak Island.

Drake is the Daycare man. He raises pokemon that are left with him and cares for any eggs he finds until the owner comes to pick it up.

Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish):

Drake is a tall man. He looks even taller, because he is never slouching and always standing tall. His blonde hair is so light colored that it is nearly white, and grows incredibly straight and hangs over his face and to the base of his neck. He has light green eyes that hold an arrogant, somewhat majestic air. He generally wears a drab, dark green color, reminesent of what Dragon Tamers wear, only without the cape. He holds himself with pride, and looks as if he would be at home with a crown on his head.

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): 5 lines minimum

Drake is a cocky, self assured man, and has no problems expressing himself. He is friendly, in an arrogant, superior way, and always thinks he is the best at what he does. His pride is emmense, and can be damaged easily, but he usually acts like it doesn't bug him until he's alone or with his pokemon. He is very boastful about his achievements, his pokemon, and anything he is proud of doing.

However, Drake can also be somewhat of a downer. He loses his confidence in himself fairly easily, and does not recover from that fast. He is somewhat of a flirt, but has been trying to keep that side of him under control. He has a great love of dragon pokemon, and is a very skilled breeder of them as well, though he hasn't battled in years.

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What was he/she was doing before he/she got a job at trainer school? Why did they decide to go to the trainer school? How did they meet their pokemon? Etcetera): 10 lines minimum

Drake was born in Blackthorn City, the home of the Dragon Masters of Johto. He was good friends with Clair, as well as Lance, and was raised to be a Dragon Tamer as they were. He exhibited spectacular skill with his Dratini, though not as much as Lance. When Lance was the Gym Leader of the gym, Drake became one of the powerful Gym Trainers. However, Lance went on his own journey, and became the Champion of Kanto and Johto. Drake took over for him as Gym Leader and held the position for a few years. However, he wanted to be more than a ym leader. He wanted to defeat Lance and prove that he was the better Dragon Tamer. So, he set out on his own, entrusting the gym to Clair.

He journeyed through Johto, collecting badges with incredible speed and made his way to the Indigo Plateau. He had an incredible battle with Lance, and nearly deafeated him, but ended up losing. Lance was without a doubt the better Dragon Master, so Drake went back to training.

A few years later, he traveled to Sinnoh to try his hand in a new region. Along his journey, he met the only person that he truly fell for. During that time, her abrasiveness and his arrogant pride rubbed each other the wrong way, and he was too stubborn to grow up, and they had a falling out that ended in another spectacular battle. Afterwards, they went their seperate ways, but the bitterness built and built. They were both after the same goal, and he was always trying to one up her. Eventually, they met again in the Sinnoh Championships. After a fierce battle, Drake emerged the loser. After that, he lost all confidence in himself as a trainer and turned to his other interest, caring for and raising pokemon. He returned to Kanto and began working in the Daycare Center, eventually becoming the manager and running it by himself.

Lance tracked him down, and saw what he was like. Thinking that it might help his friend, he persuaded Professor Oak to hire Drake as the Daycare Man of Oak island. The reason for this was twofold, Drake was an incredibly talented Daycare Man, and his famous persona would fit right in with the other staff, after all, how many people can trump the Elite Four in not one but two regions. And, being around young, confident trainers might inspire the former Dragon Tamer to return to his roots of training and battling. It might help to restore his confidence in his battling style.

Sign-Up
Spoiler:
Name: Artemisio Dell

Nickname: Arti

Age: 14

Sex: Male

Dorm: Raiku

Appearance: Arti is about 5'11", and wears flashy clothes like his father. He has long, curly hair, but keeps it in a ponytail underneath his hat. (really a green beanie) He has thick eyebrows, and green eyes. He is rather skinny, with almost no muscle or fat. He's skin and bones, so to say. He wears big, reflective aviator sunglasses when outside, and puts them on top of his head when not. He is very handsome, but also very young.

Personality: Arti has the need for everybody to like him. If someone doesn't, he does anything he can to win them over, even lie and pretend to be someone he isn't. He has problems understanding who he is, because he wears a coat of false personality to make people like him. He is quite humerus, and sometimes acts like a fool to make others laugh. He is a good artist too, and draws funny pictures to cheer people up. His biggest weakness is his habit of doubting himself.

History: Arti was born in Unova, and given up for adoption at birth. he never knew his real parents, but his adoptive father was a well known trainer in Burgh's gym, and artist, Garrett. Garrett raised him himself, and Arti learned a lot about art, and bug pokemon of course. But Arti didn't specifically like bug pokemon, he was more interested in ghost and psychic types, but didn't want to dissapoint Garrett, who was oh-so-proud of his bug loving son. When Arti was 9, Garrett's Leavanny had an egg, which was given to Arti as a gift. Arti was excited to have a pokemon, ghost or not, and fell in love with his Sewaddle when it hatched. The two became great friends, and Sewaddle went wherever Arti went, usually attached to his shoulder. Arti battled challengers of the gym, along with others before they could challenge Burgh himself. Arti wasn't particularly good at battleing, but over the next 4 years he got quite good, and decided to challenge Lenora in Nacrene city when Sewaddle evolved into Swadloon. He lost, miserably. He returned home, crestfallen. Three weeks later, he received a letter inviting him to the pokemon trainer academy, from Professor Oak. Garrett was ecstatic, and gave Arti another pokemon, this time a Joltik. Arti accepted Joltik, still trying to make his father happy, and thought that if he went to this academy, he could catch all kinds of psychic and ghost pokemon. He left on the S.S. Aqua a few days later, bringing his two pokemon and his sketchbook with him.

Team
Species: Swadloon
Personality: Swadloon is a very affectionate pokemon, especially towards Arti. They are always together, and are great friends. In battle, Swadloon is very aggressive and serious. He always does what Arti says, because over the years Arti has proved to be a good trainer and decision maker.
Lvl 25
Moves: Bug Bite, Razor leaf, protect, Energy ball, Camouflage

Species: Joltik
Personality: Joltik is very energetic, but because of his short time with Arti, he doesn't completely trust him, often electrocuting him for laughs. He does, however, battle seriously and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize the fight. This doesn't mean he always listens to Arti though, and often does what his instincts tell him to, ignoring his trainer.
Lvl: 18
Moves: Bug Bite, ElectroWeb, Screech, Pursuit

Evie Bellarost
Spoiler:
Name: Evie Bellarost

Nickname: Her Aunt Penny calls her Moonshine.

Age (10-15):14

Sex: Female

Dorm: Raikou Dorm

Appearance: Small and curvy, Evie doesn’t go past 5’0. Long, gentle curls of feather, white hair with streaks of silver encircle of perfectly oval, cream face. She sports a small button nose and two forest green eyes, amber flecks spiking out from the pupils. Gentle shades of pastel pinks colour her cheeks and lips, while a few stubborn freckles dot the bridge of her nose. She had a small red scar on the left hand side of her forehead, which is often covered by her bangs, and she holds herself awkwardly, favouring baggy jeans and hoodies to hide behind. Intertwined the tangled mess of silver curls, is a long blue thread braid from which a mid-night blue gem hangs, glittering in whatever light it can harvest, in the shape of a crescent moon.
Along each wrist lays an assortment of bangles and bracelets made from all sorts of material which she had collected through her studies. As well as a small tattoo, again in the shape of a moon, in sky- blue ink is painted onto her right shoulder.
She usually wears a pair of skater jeans with a simple black vest top when it’s warm out, along with big comfortable trainers. A simple black cropped, zip up hoodie goes everywhere with her, it being her lucky black jacket so to speak, along with a rather large canvas messenger bag, which carries her camera, paints, pencils and sketch books, along with a bed roll and food.

Personality: Evie had been a warm, bubbly and outgoing girl before the accident when she was 13. These days she hides all these traits away under a quiet, shy exterior, preferring to spend time by on her own or close friends rather than activity seek out new company. She’s a bit of a book worm and is addicted to coffee as well as copious amounts of chocolate, being very much a creature of comfort. Her talent to paint and draw has taught her over the years to view situation and people in a different manner and is more aware of the fact that what she says can affect those around her and so she leads her life by this motto. “Better to be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt”.
Despite this though, she remains loving and warm to all those who care to take the time with introductions and once befriended no one could ask for a more loyal friend. She is however, easily hurt and criticism makes her wilt faster than a flower in drought, often bursting into tears at the first sign of harsh words directed at her. This coupled with low self-esteem means Evie actively avoid crowded areas, sticking to the roads less well travelled than most. She’s also clumsy, always tripping up over her own feet, so her legs and arms are no stranger to bruises. She’s also skilled at skateboarding. . Her prised possessions are her candy blue head phones, which never leave her head and her lucky black jacket. The blue moon crystal was her mothers and no one, as a rule, is allowed to touch it.

History: At 5 years old, Evie lost both parents to a car accident during a down pore one late autumn evening. The roads had been slick with early winter ice and water pummelled down from the heavens above. Evie sat in the back seat, clutching Leka (her eevee) to her chest, positively jittering with excitement, her long red curls, wild atop her head. Her mother sat in the front seat yowling, at the pain of contractions while Her dad stressed, clutched the wheel so hard his knickles turned white as he pressed down on the accelerator, too caught up on his new son’s up and coming birth to think of the dangers ahead.
It had only taken a few moments. A few moments for the lorry driver, coming the opposite direction, to loll of to sleep. A few moments for the tires to skid on the ice and less than a second for everything Evie had grown to love, to end.
She remembers very little of those few moments, just snatches of memory which offer glimpses into her darkest nightmare, flying glass, screeching wheels and her mother’s cry, a tree, then darkness. The next thing she remembered was waking up in a white room to the bleeping of machinery monitoring her heart beat.
Her hair had turned white that day, it was the trauma of the accident, the doctors had tried to explain. But it was all gibberish to her. she couldn’t even remember what the trauma was meant to be.
Her Aunt and Uncle had taken her in after that, the first day she saw them, her aunt was in tears, while her uncle simply swept her up into his huge arms and held her still, saying nothing. From then on she was brought up on their farm, taught how to care for animals like her uncle, and draw like her aunt. Eevee came with her, saved by her arms in the accident, the small fox Pokémon, was fine, and while she grew, he grew with her and in the nights when terrors overcame her dreams, making her scream out, he was there and over the years, the love between them grew and Eevee turned to umbreon. Silent, still and ever protecting his master.
Recently they were invited to the academy to learn more about pokemon biology, showing great potential for care and research into pokemon breeding and medicine. Though Evie and Leka prefer not to fight, they can certainly pack a punch when they need too.

Alex Fernardo
Spoiler:
Name: Alex Fernardo

Age: 12

Sex: Male

Dorm: Suicune

Appearance: TO BE SPRITED

Personality: Alex is quite easygoing, and tends to be nice. He likes to battle much, occasionally challenging random strangers. This tends to be problematic, as he gets distracted very easily, due to his ADHD. From time to time, usually when he's scared, he can be a bit insecure, which springs from a tragic childhood accident. Alex can react badly to strangers that affront him, and sometimes freaks out. He hasn't really talked much since the accident, but what he does say, he says boldly. Alex hates talking about the accident, his father, and his family. He hates insults and bullies, and will physically attack anyone who gets on his nerves. He loves the cold, as he was born and raised in it.

History: Alex was born in the Sinnoh region, in Snowpoint city. He is an only child, and likes it that way. His father was a sailor, while his mother was a marine biologist who worked on her husband's ship, the Manatee. Alex received a Weaville on his 11th birthday, and was overjoyed. Sadly, both of his parents were killed in boating accident as the Manatee struck a large iceberg. Nearly heartbroken, he was sent to Sunnyshore to move in with his grandpa Max, who was a retired Champion. This reinvigorated Alex's spirits, and he trained like crazy. He eventually beat Volkner after many losses. His recent victory sparked the urge to travel, collecting all of the Sinnoh gym badges.

Alex starts his journey by going to Pastoria City. Once there, he beats Crasher Wake with little effort. Spirits bolstered even more, he goes to Hearthome, where he procrastinates for a while. He gets distracted from his quest by the Pokemon Park, The Poffin House...all of the sights to see! he eventually gets around to fighting the Gym, but fails horribly. He blames himself, and goes back home. Heartbroken, he hides from society, rarely leaving his room. Out of pity, his grandpa Max gets him a Chimchar to respark his inanimate fighting spirit. Alex accepted the gift graciously, and signs up for the Pokemon Trainer Academy, determined to be the best battler in the region. After being accepted, Alex was quick to pack, and left as soon as possible. He was quite proficient at both exams, and so was placed in the Suicune dorm. He finds the Lugia dorm to be interesting, and can often be seen eyeing it from a distance.
