I never had time to finish my Leafgreen run (borrowed the game), but I remember using Venasaur, Beedrill, Primeape, Hitmonchan, Meowth (HM/Pick-Up Slave). No idea if I had a surfer or flyer, I might have had Gyarados, not sure.
Beedrill was the fun part of the team, used him because I just wanted too
