Yes sir! Considering the circumstances, feel free to add 5 levels to any of your pokemon that were level 20 or below when you returned to the RP. I won't screw you by saying 20 or under right now, since that wouldn't be fair on my part.

Wild pokemon are now level 20 upon being caught and starter pokemon for students are at 25.
