The Bongo Bongo thing weirded me out when I was a kid. It was some like freaky drummer or something to me. I had no idea what he was supposed to be exactly, but I was freaked out by drums for awhile
If it was some sort of drums, maybe the Bongo thing playing it was supposed to bring attention to its cut-off hands.
