“Maybe the store owner will be forgiving once he has his money,” said Jerome motioning for the boy to walk back toward the town. Jerome continued the assumption Forrest was lying since he hadn’t shown any proof to back up his “wild” story. Jerome was going to follow right behind the boy to make sure he went to the shop, paid the poor shop owner, and then turn himself into the police. Despite the boy’s apparent cooperation Jerome did not let down his threatening posture since he was sure the boy would make a run for it once he got a chance. Too bad for Forrest, Jerome was never going to give him that chance. “Well I thought you were in a hurry? Let’s get going,” added Jerome with a satisfied smirk.
