Introduction
Hello, lovelies~ This is a little project of mine that I've been working on for my own website, using Pokemon Essentials. But it occurred to me, if I'm drawing support from this forum, why not share it here as well?
Pokemon Reborn is based on Reborn, my community, which features a competitive online league that's been running for over two and a half years. So, we decided to make an actual game based off of our online gym leaders! This also means, however, that Pokemon Reborn is a little more challenging than most games. Gym leaders use full teams of six Pokemon, engineered specifically to counter their weaknesses. You'll probably have to go out of your way just to find Pokemon in the Reborn Region- read on to see why.
Background/Plot
Welcome to the Reborn Region.
In Reborn, Pokemon are deceptively sparse, many of them having been chased away by the ever-deteriorating environment. A massive city spans across the greater part of the Region, once magnificent, now malignant. Earthquakes ravage the town center; without warning the forest grows and overtakes an entire community; and the once crystal-clear lake now flows with more poison than water. To make matters worse, a mysterious force seems to be operating behind the scenes... A force who- although nobody seems to know it- may already have the whole of Reborn in their clutches...
Step into the shoes of a new trainer who journeys to the Reborn Region for the thrill and prestige of taking on the famous Reborn League- An unprecedented challenge featuring leaders of all 17 types. Explore the vast Reborn Region, from the faltering metropolis, to the Tourmaline Desert where people and trains alike seem to disappear in thin air, and finally the peaks of the Carnelian mountains where the mysterious champion awaits...
But what few know is that the fate of the region actually rests in the hands of a few young girls...
One who's lost her mind,
One who's lost her family,
One who's lost her memory,
And one who's lost reality...
A new world awaits- one that desperately needs a hero.

The Characters
Since the members of my community have met them already, I think it's only fair that you all do as well!

Victoria
One of the first people you'll meet in the Reborn Region- and one of your rivals. She's a cheery, kind-hearted apprentice, specialising in Fighting types. She intends to challenge the league with you, but often finds herself swept up in more pressing affairs.
"As soon as I heard, I had to go see if I could help! I'd stay and talk more, but I have to hurry!"
Cain
If there's one thing Cain is notorious for, it's his excessive flirtation. It makes no difference if you're a guy or a girl. Cast out of his home, Cain becomes your second rival, specialising in Poison Types, and adding some light-hearted, if edgy, humor and his musical taste to your adventure.
"Heyyyy, you're cute. What? Haha, no, I didn't say anything!"
Fern
Brother to the Grass Gym Leader, Fern consider himself the "top-dog" of his school. He's a social schmooze, and... well, if you thought Gary Oak was bad, you're in for something else. Fern becomes your final rival, and your primary antagonist.
"Later, loser!"
Julia
Julia is the first gym leader, mastering the Electric Type! Formerly the cheer captain at her Trainers' School, she's lost none of her pep since graduating, maintaining her silly disposition and utter fascination with explosions of all kinds. That's kind of her hobby. If she says to run, RUN.
"Kaaaaaaaa... BOOOOOOM!!!"
Florinia
Florinia was once Julia's best friend, but since graduating, they've drifted. She now acts as the Grass Gym Leader, and acting president of the Onyx Trainer's School. She is also known as the "Flobot" due to her monotone and intellectual nature, having cut out her own emotions from herself.
"I might wish you 'Good luck,' however 'luck' is merely an illusory essentialization of statistics, and is not inherently good or bad in any way."
Corey
Corey is the Poison Gym Leader of Reborn. He's known for his sharp words, and admittedly negative attitude. He is stern and cold- and yet, always seems to be in pain. He oftentimes shuts himself in his room or disappears for days at a time, and no one is quite sure why...
"Hope is weakness. It's an illusion meant to sugarcoat this sickening reality."
Shelly
Shelly is the younger sister of Bugsy, of the Johto Region. Neglected throughout her childhood, she's taken the position of Reborn's Bug Gym Leader to try and earn her brother's affection. She's an especially timid girl, having few friends, and dearly afraid of losing them.
"I know this pain it feels... It's lonely..."
Shade
Shade is Reborn's Ghost Gym Leader. Appropriately, no one is quite sure whether or not he's even human- or if it's a "he" at all. Shade almost never speaks, instead appearing quietly, and disappearing a short silence later. There are rumors, though... So many rumors...

Amaria
One of the highest ranking gym leaders, and the most popular, Amaria is good friends with Julia, Florinia, and pretty much everyone she meets. She appears to always have a smile, but really is deeply concerned about the state of Reborn.
"I have everything a girl could possibly want... Status, a good education, the love of my life... So... why does everything feel so grey?"
Heather
A very young girl with exceeding talent for her age. She's the daughter of Corey, but seems to resent him. She loves riding around on her fearsome Salamence, taking charge and rushing into danger- but is anxious to yell at anyone who tries to tell her what to do.
"What kind of father doesn't let his daughter go out to beat up bad guys?!"
Saphira
A strong, solitary lady, and another high-ranking leader. She is fiercely loyal to her family, and will stop at nothing to ensure what's best for them. She has two younger sisters whose freedom she fights for on a daily basis.
"Revenge is a dish that is best served... now."
Laura
A beautiful but demure young girl, and patient of Dr. Connal. She gets nervous very easily, and shows it in a number of ticks and habits that seem to control her sometimes more than she controls them. Despite her flighty nature, she seems to hold a very high position in Reborn...
"Oh, um........ Excuse me........"
Charlotte
Charlotte is a patient of Dr.Connal, and the youngest of three sisters. She tends to sit back and watch with a quiet awareness, but isn't afraid to throw in her own quips when she feels it necessary. She's also said to be a Gym Leader of Reborn.
"Awesome kind of runs in our family. No big deal."
Anna
Another patient of the Doctor, and twin to Noel, Anna is a very cheerful girl who has a tendency to see and hear things that others don't. She's also inseparably attached to her Jirachi doll, Nostra, and insists that Nostra talks to her quite frequently.
"Nostra says she can feel your friend's sorrow on you... Something really bad must have happened, right?"
Noel
Noel is a patient of the Doctor as well, and Anna's twin brother. He sometimes appears to be more distant than his sister, but similarly keeps a Cleffa Doll, Nomos. He says he can hear it speak, but Anna has a tendency to correct what he hears from it.
"Nomos and Nostra are just dolls, but... hi. Um... Nomos says 'Hi,' too."
Dr. Sigmund Connal
The famous local psychiatrist, Dr. Sigmund Connal runs an orphanage for his younger patients as well, so that he may better observe and guide them and their development. He has a strong reputation though, and not all of it positive, being that he uses his Electric Pokemon to preform controversial shock therapy on some of his patients.
"Now just hold still. ...You might feel a little shock..."

Game demos are released once per completed gym. Each episode is fully inclusive of past content, and save files are stored externally so no need to worry about transitioning.
This is the seventh release, thus, seven gyms so far!
