Also, events can also give us a "niche" instead of trying to be the place for a certain metagame. Community Night only happens around every 2 weeks, so that's not really for people to be active for (since it's only for one day). Specifically some sort of group, club, clan, league, etc., since they have a club membership which emphasizes the fact that we're a community (see:
some of the posts in this thread).
