My monitor is so old the pixels bleed into each other like hell, creating a blazing blur on non-blended objects on my screen. (I'm using one of those old flat panel monitors from the early 2000s, sorry)

Way to turn a negative into a positive, Twiggy. I like that. However, I do fear the day when we can't do what we want with computers, which is a frightening thought in itself.
