[PKMN FULL] Journey to the Unknown Lands (T) OOC Revamped

For thousands of years the world has had 18 peaceful kingdoms each representing the type of the Pokemon Gijinka living in them. The first and largest to inhabit the lands were the kingdoms of Grass and Ice, the smallest kingdoms of Poison and Ghost. Beyond the borders of the kingdoms of Fighting, Flying, Ground, Ice, and Electric lies a vast land that the citizens of all the kingdoms call the Unknown Lands. Unknown because no one has ever dared venture there. Whether it be through fear of the unknown or just not wishing to see what lies beyond the borders.

Finally though the leaders of each of the kingdoms have grown restless, tales have been spread across the lands of great treasure in the Unknown Lands, but also of great danger and misfortune. There has also been hints of trouble popping up on the borders between the kingdoms and the Unknown Lands. Small towns on the borders of the Unknown have been attacked and destroyed, leaving only one survior from the multiple attacks. This has caused a stir between the kingdoms especially with the kingdoms that have been attacked having distrust towards the others. After many weeks of discussion though each kingdom has decided to try to send one volunteer to the Unknown lands to find the cause of the attacks and end the distrust between the kingdoms.

The Kingdoms:

The Fairy Kingdom: A Kingdom of an average size. The Fairy Kingdom is bordered on three sides by oceans and the fourth side by the mountains separating them from the Steel Kingdom. The Fairy Kingdom is ruled by Princess Annmarie. Though young in age only 10 years old she rules her kingdom with pride and the love of her people.

The Steel Kingdom: Yet another Kingdom of Average size it resides on the same island as The Fairy and Dark Kingdoms. The Steel Kingdom is bordered on one side by the Fairy kingdom, one by the Dark Kingdom, and two sides by water. The Steel Kingdom is ruled by King Araon a young fierce warrior who will take the risks to protect the peace between the Kingdoms.

The Dark Kingdom: Slightly smaller than the Kingdom it shares it's border with the Dark Kingdom it makes up for it with a slightly bigger population. It is not overcrowded just more populated than the other two Kingdoms that share the island. Bordered by water on three sides and the Steel Kingdom on the other. The Dark Kingdom is ruled by Queen Fiona a quiet ruler, she tends to observe first before acting.

The Ghost Kingdom: Though it's one of the smaller Kingdoms doesn't mean it's less important than the others. The Ghost Kingdom is bordered on three sides by water and one side by the Dragon Kingdom. The Ghost kingdom is rules by Prince Terence a young teen who hopes to do the best for his people.

The Dragon Kingdom: The Dragon Kingdom is slightly bigger than the Ghost Kingdom. It is bordered on two sides by water, one side by the Ghost Kingdom, one side by the Ice Kingdom and a small protion bordering the Bug Kingdom. The Dragon Kingdom is ruled by Queen Celeste a very loving woman regarded to as a mother like figure to all her people.

The Ice Kingdom: One of the biggest Kingdoms in the land it is bordered on three sides by water and the Dragon and Bug Kingdoms on the last. It also shares a border with part of the unknown lands. The Ice Kingdom is ruled by a young pair of twins. Prince James and Prince Fredrick. Very rambunctious in their daily life they are trying to learn how to rule their Kingdom.

The Bug Kingdom: An average sized Kingdom bordered on one side by the Ice and Dragon Kingdoms, two sides by water, and the fourth side by the Psychic Kingdom. The Bug Kingdom holds another on of the mountains in the land. Ruled by Queen Victoria, a very relaxed and stubborn woman who rules with care.

The Psychic Kingdom: Yet another kingdom of average size. The Psychic Kingdom is bordered on two sides by water, one side by the bug kingdom, one by the Poison Kingdom, and the last side by the Electric and Grass Kingdoms. The Psychic Kingdom is ruled by the young Princess Regina. A teen with a big heart who can't help but be shy.

The Grass Kingdom: The largest Kingdom in the lands it is also the most populated of all of them. Borded on one side by the Psychic Kingdom, one by the electric Kingdom, one by the Ground and Fire Kingdoms, and the last by water. It's ruler is King Stefan a man who thinks very highly of himself but despite that cares deeply for his Kingdom.

The Fire Kingdom: The fire Kingdom is only slightly smaller than the Ice type Kingdom. It is bordered on one side by the Grass Kingdom, one by the Water kingdom, one side by The Normal and Rock Kingdoms and one by the Ground. It is ruled by Prince Phillip a young man who tends to think before acting.

The Water Kingdom: An average sized Kingdom that extends out a ways into the sea. It is bordered on one side by the Normal, Fire, and Grass Kingdoms and the other sides by water. It is ruled by Princess Gina a young and feisty girl who wants nothing more than to not be seen as a child.

The Normal Kingdom: A kingdom of average size the shars one border with the Rock Kingdom, one with the Fire and Water Kingdoms, and two borders with water. The Normal Kingdom is ruled by Queen Rebecca who shares her duties with her younger sister Princess Dahlia. Rebecca is very temperamental but as long as her sister is around she can keep calm.

The Rock Kingdom: An average sized mountainous Kingdom. It borders with the Ground Kingdom on one side, and the Fire and Normal Kingdoms on the other. It's last two borders are against the water. It is ruled by King Omar a kind old man waiting for his son to prove he has what it takes to rule.

The Ground Kingdom: One of the smaller Kingdoms. It borders the Fire Kingdom on one side, the Rock Kingdom on another, and the Grass Kingdom on the third. It's fourth border is shared with water and the Unknown lands. It is ruled by Prince David a young man driven to prove that his father made the right choice selecting him over his brother.

The Electric Kingdom: A small narrow kingdom bordered on one side by the Grass Kingdom, one side by the Poison and Psychic Kingdoms, once side by water, and the last the Unknown Lands. The Electric Kingdom is ruled by the young Princess Elaine a young child with a bubbly personality.

The Flying Kingdom: Another mountainous Kingdom in the land. The Flying Kingdom is bordered by the Fighting Kingdom on one side, the Poision Kingdom on another, the third side is bordered by the Electric Kingdom. The main border is with the Unknown lands. The Flying Kingdom is ruled by Queen Chance a young queen who fears the Unknown lands.

The Poison Kingdom: The smallest Kingdom in the lands. It is bordered by water on one side, the Flying Kingdom on another, the Electric Kingdom on the third side, and the Psychic Kingdom on the Fourth side.It is ruled by King Theodore and his wife Queen Theresa both rulers are kind and caring.

The Fighting Kingdom: Another large Kingdom around the size of the Fire Kingdom. It is bordered on one side by water, one by the Flying Kingdom and the other two sides by the Unknown lands. The ruler of the Kingdom is Queen Mina, she looks like a nice woman but deep on the inside she is very greedy.

You:
You are one of the Gijinka that has been chosen from a Kingdom to join the expedition to the unknown lands. Descended and evolved from the Pokemon that used to inhabit these lands you share the same powers and abilities as your ancestors. Like your ancestors you are limited to only four moves, and have one of the same abilities. But unlike them you also can fight like the long extinct humans could. Hand to hand combat. Now as for the expedition you may be part of this on a search for Power, for riches, fame. Or just a need to help your Kingdom. Overall the reason is up to you why you have been selected. The goals are clear. Venture through the Unknown lands, investigate any claims and rumors you have heard. Find out what is going on. Who knows your combined actions might even save the world.

(This picture isn't totally accurate, but it's close enough. It's hard finding a good picture of a male Breloom Gijinka on the internet. :/)

Henry is a tall young man, standing at exactly six feet. While he does not have bodybuilder proportions, he does have a toned athletic physique that he is quite proud of, and is rather strong. Due to living pretty much all his life outdoors, his skin is lightly tanned. Not pale, but not bronzed either. His face is round, free of blemishes, and rather boyish. Marked by large, expressive, brown eyes, a small nose, and a usually smiling mouth. These features give him a rather youthful appearance. He has short, messy, chestnut brown hair. Except for the top of his head, and eyebrows, the rest of his upper body is void of any hair.

Were it up to him, Henry wouldn't wear any clothes period. It's much more comfortable that way. Unfortunately, society frowns upon that kind of thing. He can however go shirtless, which he usually does. The boy dresses simply. He can't exactly afford fancy clothes or armor, so he makes do with what he can get. He wears a pair of green tights on on his legs, and a pair of simple red ankle boots on his feet. A pair of red fingerless gloves that go up to his wrists cover his hands. The gloves have steel reinforcements under the knuckle area which make his punches harder. On his head, he wears a green mushroom shaped cap, with red berries on both sides, like the one Breloom has. The tail growing above his rear is what makes it clear he is a Gijinka. It is the same color as his skin, and has green seed clusters attached to them.

Personality: Henry is a bright, cheerful person, with an optimistic view on life. He can often be found with a smile on his face, even when things look bleak. As such, he often makes jokes, and does silly things when the situation is tense to lighten things up, but his attempts to make people laugh sometimes backfire. He can't stand seeing others be sad, and would do anything in his power to help them. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it. Henry is very outgoing and social. He likes meeting new people, and making new friends. He is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a random stranger. He's very accustomed to taking care of people. He is loyal, empathetic, and very protective of those he cares about, making him a good friend to have.

Henry is very energetic, some would say hyperactive even. So much so, that it is very difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. He can Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Henry can be childish and immature at times, and is the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, His feelings are there for everyone to see, and he's pretty easy to read. For example he cries openly when something upsets him, and he is affectionate towards close friends. Due to his cheerful nature, it is usually difficult to anger him. However, Henry is not perfect, and is prone to having a bad day just like everyone else. He'll try to keep calm, but when pushed too far, he has really bad angry outbursts where he just lashes out at the most appropriate target. That said, Henry isn't one to hold grudges for very long, and is very quick to forgive people.

History: Henry was born and raised in the Grass Kingdom. A huge kingdom that was known for it's dense forests, and for being filled with flowers in full bloom no matter what season. Even as a child, Henry always seemed to have boundless energy. He could often be found outdoors playing with other kids, and exploring his home when he had free time. Sometimes, his enthusiasm got him into trouble. He'd often wander into places he wasn't supposed to, and it was difficult to keep the boy still. He led a fairly normal life, and was quite popular with the other kids in the kingdom. Unfortunately, Henry found it too normal, to the point of being boring. All anyone seemed to care about was tending to the flowers. Henry found that dull. He knew there was adventure waiting beyond the kingdoms borders. Unfortunately, his parents refused to let him leave every time he asked to leave to go explore.

Some time after Henry's eighteenth birthday, the opportunity he had been waiting for had finally arrived. King Stefan requested a volunteer to represent the Grass Kingdom on an expedition to explore the unknown lands. Henry was the only person in the kingdom to volunteer. The majority of the Grass Kingdom are peaceful folk. Exploring such a dangerous area was a fools mission. Henry on the other hand, was excited. This was the opportunity of a lifetime, a chance to leave his ordinary life behind for one of adventure. The King was hesitant about sending someone so young on a journey like this, but he appreciated his optimism. Since no one else volunteered, Henry was the one chosen to go. His parents had misgivings about this whole thing, but they figured their son was old enough to make his own decisions. So they gave him their blessings, and sent him off on his way.

Weapon: His gloves have steel reinforcements in the knuckle area to make his punches harder. Otherwise, he doesn't use traditional weapons. Prefering to rely on his fists, and Pokemon attacks.

This RP looks like a ton of fun! I dunno which kingdom to sign up for yet, but I do have a question to ask. Are there weaponry in this world, such as swords, maces, etc? I'm asking because Pokémon like, for example, Scyther, Honedge and Gallade would have their arm-blades translated into regular blades, I'm thinking, so I'm wondering if the gijinkas didn't come up with just melting down metal into swords to counter such 'mons? Not to mention Pokémon that rely on attacks such as Slash, X-scissor, Cut, etcetera.

In fact, nevermind, reserving the Dark kingdom personage!

Also, another question on top; The moves the gijinka in question would know, are they just from the list that specific mon can learn by leveling? Or are there egg moves in it too? Could we pick one of the abilities to be a TM, or is that completely out of the question? Sorry for asking so much, I just want to make the best character I can :3

Personality: Sly and clever, Pyrrush is best described as roguish. He easily dodges and sidesteps questions that he doesn't want to answer; usually charming or confusing the questioner with quips and banter. Its something that he picked up on the streets when he was little. Along with that he tends to be quite the daring and reckless cavalier, charging forth during times of injustice. Sometimes, even when other doesn't see it as injustice and he just personally can't see the right in it, he will interfere.

Regardless of his roguish quirks and inattentive answers, Pyrrush has those rare moments where he genuinely cares and offers kindness to others. Their's a certain beauty to watching the ravishing male show his true feelings. The slight blush that paints his cheeks as he dispels his buried feelings is just a small example. This, coupled with the intense loyalty he feels towards his Kingdom has created quite the awkward individual. Most people won't understand him but a few may see through it all. And to top it all off, Pyrrush really dislike those that pretend to understand the hardships of others. This pisses him off beyond the point of boiling.

History: Pyrrush had been a street urchin for as long as he could remember. During this time his name was nothing more then a blank spot in his memory. He lived life brutally, doing all that he could just to go to school and get a decent education. During the time that he wasn't in school or holding a grudge against the other kids, he was pick-pocketing the citizens of the kingdom and stealing to eat. It wasn't a glamorous life but it was his. At some low point in his young life, he had grown accustomed to the thought of living that way. Accustomed to the thought of just barely getting by... of just barely surviving. That was until a young and naive prince Phillip had offered him a hand on a gloomy rainy day.

After that, Pyrrush had become fully devoted to the prince. His reckless ways were a perfect match to his roguish mannerism and together the two of them ruled the school. Phillip and his father took Pyrrush in and in no time they had developed him into a rough-around-the-edges citizen. The prince and Pyrrush were more like brothers then friends in their later years, and before it could even be thought of, Pyrrush was serving as a royal guard to the new ruler. In his head, it was only natural. A lifetime of servitude for saving him from the harsh streets. It wasn't until a fateful day, standing by prince Phillip's side as usual, did he even fathom a change in his routine.

With concern and distress on his face, prince Phillip had discussed the possibility of sending Pyrrush out to the Unknown Lands. It was unusual to see such consideration on the prince's face but it was understandable. He told him that it was okay to decline and that he wouldn't hold it against him, although, Pyrrush had gotten the feeling that was what he had desired. To his dismay, Pyrrush accepted, claiming that it would be better to send him than any other newbie out there. He promised he'd come back unscathed.
