I am thinking of writing a story. But I do not know if I would start it off with the origin of the antagonist and why he is that he is or to just go into it later on in the story? Also is this the right thread to ask a question like this?

Probably not, but I'd recommend making a general thread in the Lounge. As for an antagonist origin story, that'd depend on what you're doing with it. Are you writing a short story to flesh him out, or a full-out prequel? If neither are going to be directly posted with the main story, I'd say go right ahead. If not, proceed with caution - you don't want to give the entire thing away before you get into the meat of your project.

Went ahead with moving this to the Plot Bunny Thread as it seems you have an idea you want to work with already and want some quick advice.

As for your antagonist origin question, like SeleneHime said it'll depend on how long the story is. If longer fic I would reveal the antagonist's origin gradually. Not immediately to give away everything, but not too late to explain everything in one go. Hope that makes sense!

I'm new to Pok?community and would like to share some ideas for a story I'm working on, and get some ideas for it as well. I was wondering if I could put my story somewhere here, or if I have to link it.

The story is titled "Pok?mon Anthology", since it's the story of a character going through five regions with his friends. Here is the synopsis:

Synopsis: York Mather is the son of Tison Mathers, the champion of the Industra League. York dreamed of overtaking his father and become the champion of the Industra League himself. First, he decides to travel through the fives regions of the world, Kinsei, Monteir, Regulus, Natura and Industra, with Industra being the last. His childhood friend, Sydney Collins goes with him. Along the way, the two meet many friends, both people and Pokemon, and overcome many challenges.

There are some things I wanted to change about battle to make it more strategic/ realistic. I'll put a spoiler tag so people that want to read the story can find out about these things as they are revealed.

Spoiler:

Next I'll put several organizations and important terms I plan to utilize in the story. Once again, I'll be putting a spoiler tag. I got the idea for one of them from the Game Theory: Humans are Pok?mon.

Spoiler:

For chapters not related to the main story, I wanted to write about things the fan community came up with. So if anyone has things to tell me about what I already have, and have any suggestions for things the fans came up with that might make a good story, don't hesitate to tell me.

Sounds interesting! I enjoy OT (original trainer) stories, but only if they have some unique flair to them. They are all usually about living out the author's personal dream. Which is a nice way of expressing oneself; personally I do that through journey style roleplaying here in the Roleplay Theatre, haha. But when you're writing fiction rather than roleplaying, you do it just as much (or more) for the enjoyment of the readers. And the readers have seen OT trainers going through regions so many times before. You really need an unique angle on the whole thing.

The Church and liberation front and health association - those sound very interesting and make your take on the pok?mon world more realistic! But I would strongly suggest giving your characters some special characteristics or mission as well, something to get the readers hooked and think "this isn't just an OT story, it's actually about something!".

I am currently in the process of writing a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fic. It has continuity with the latest game, Super Mystery Dungeon, and I plan on including another pair of characters, one a Treecko named Carlos who is transported from the world of humans (specifically from Hoenn) to the Mystery Dungeon world by some as of yet to be determined power. He is called upon the world for the purpose of a previously undiscovered prophecy that details destruction of both the human and the Pokemon world through "vengeful forces." This prophecy was created around roughly the same time as
Spoiler:
These "vengeful forces" are Primal Groudon and Kyogre as a result of both Team Magma's and Team Aqua's efforts to control one or the other. The reason that it threatens both worlds is the link that both worlds share (this is proven by the numerous times humans have gone to the Pokemon world).

I was wanting to develop my ideas, run it by y'all, get some feedback and develop some more ideas. With that being said, what do y'all think?

Thanks for the feedback, Pikachu. I actually had some ideas for things that would give the characters specials missions and characteristics, but I haven't fleshed them all out just yet.

I'm brand new to this forum, but I had a rather silly idea for a fic and I was wondering if anyone thought it would be worth writing. The middle is a foggy mess right now so I won't try unless I get some idea for that, but here is the basic concept:

A trainer, probably an airheaded surfer dude, accidentally catches Arceus in a messy Team Galactic-related accident. Arceus finds being a trainer's pokemon demeaning, but it's weak and needs help gathering the elemental plates to regain full power. Arceus begrudgingly sticks with the trainer and they go on a quest around Sinnoh to find the plates before Team Galactic tracks Arceus down.

If you're wondering how you can "accidentally" catch Arceus, this was my plan:
Spoiler:

On a whole, the story would be lighthearted and silly rather than dark. Lots of incompetent Galactic goons and the trainer trying to keep Arceus from smiting people. At the center of the story would be the trainer breaking down Arceus's superiority complex and the two of them becoming real friends. Does this sound like it's worth pursuing?

I love it. It's a very original concept. I've never heard of a pokémon fic with even something of a similar premise before.

The character of a laid back surfer dude probably works really well as foil to Arceus, and will allow for some fun comedic moments. A lighter character will also give some good contrast to a character as heavy as Arceusm.

This is part 1: Figured it'd best to gain some feedback on characters before launching into the plot

It's probably best to start this story with a question. What if Pokémon, were people? Not in the sense that they could talk or some of the things we see in other media like Mystery Dungeon, what if Pokémon were people at our current level? What if they drove cars, had actual names and a functioning social structure?

This is a story I've been toying with for years, thinking about the intricacies of it all probably the most prevalent of which was how would a Pokémon without hands function? How would for example a Mightyena cook dinner? Well hopefully, with some luck and maybe the odd retcon I might've finally got it all figured out.
Background world information

This world is actually a lot like ours in that there are animals; this was a big one to get in since it wouldn't have made sense for something like a Houndoom to be a vegetarian.
The Pokémon in this world don't die from old age, this doesn't make them invulnerable however they can still die from illness and injury. Now this would cause the issue of overcrowding but there is a way around that according to the god who created the land (Oh we'll get to him) there can only be a set number of souls in the world, when someone dies their soul is returned to the world as a new child.

In regards to the land itself, this story takes places on one of the larger continents on this version of Earth (HAH. Bet you thought I'd have some silly pun name!) This continent, the continent of Fire has large snowy mountains but also warm beaches. It also has seasons very similar to ours; it is regularly 35 Degrees in the summer dropping to around -10 in winter with heavy snowfall.

Also the god of the world…Kinda forgot how he created it…Alongside forgetting the rules he put in place and is still amazed by things science discovers…Because he forgot them.

The reserve the majority of the this story takes place in, is essentially common land near the village of Cravensby where Pokémon can go back to living in the wild it also serves as a large nature reserve covering 100 Square Miles of land.

Education works differently, instead of learning and doing exams in order to get qualifications you essentially learn on the job learning the skills you need, school still exists but it's more a basis to then go out and look for a job.

There's a bit of ambiguity with the term 'doctor' essentially doctors slowly learn everything about healthcare, they start by learning the general gist of everything which makes them GPs, from there they then learn on the job.

Evolution is changed into growing up in this so Pokémon grow from their baby forms into an adult form over a time not dissimilar to that of a human.

Biographies

Sophie
Species
: Mightyena
Occupation: Doctor
Age: 165
Bio: Sophie is the hapless mother of the family, she's not the oldest by a long shot but she's helped and adopted so many children it's almost impossible for her to go anywhere without being called either Mum or Auntie. The funny thing about Sophie is that only 6 of the 13 children she's raised are Mightyenas, the rest she adopted either intentionally or unintentionally. Her youngest child was born only five months ago and since then she basically spends all her time inside nursing it, she's pretty much solidly decided she'll go back to work next week which would be great if she not said three weeks in a row… Sophie's roll as a doctor is oddly enough a GP, she used to work on a children's ward at a hospital but got offered a role as a GP. As a result she's basically fluent in most general medical practises such as physiotherapy, oral health and also has some background of counselling, she even has some experience with surgery. Sophie at home basically sleeps constantly as a result of having a squeaking five month old pup tailing her constantly but also due to the general stresses and strains of her family, she stands around 4 Foot which is fairly small for a fully grown Mightyena, she has dark brown fur as a result of her Mother which is much thicker than most of her species due to her fathers lineage.

Darunia
Species: Mightyena
Occupation: Train Guard
Age: 166
Bio: Darunia is Sophie's husband and it's certainly a strange couple since Darunia to all outward appearances is a big gruff stocky Mightyena, however on the inside he's incredibly soft and peaceful. He stands at 4 Foot 5 with black fur and pretty much spends his days managing trains and keeping an eye on Sophie and their kids. His gruff personality comes from his father who was a wild feral Mightyena who lived in the woods, it could also be said his inner softness comes from his Mother who tamed his father back when they first met.

Tom
Species: Mightyena
Occupation: Err…Squeaking?
Age: 5 Months
Bio: Tom is Sophie's youngest child at only 5 Months old; he spends most of his time tailing his Mum and being cuddled by pretty much everyone in the family. Tom is grey like most Mightyena pups but has his father's fairly muscular build and his Mothers thick fur, as a result of being descended from a shiny Mightyena he has brown patches all over his body one of which is over his left eye.

Emily
Species: Mightyena (There's a lot of these, blame large litters)
Occupation: Lounging around the house
Age: 34
Bio: Emily is Sophie's 3rd youngest child and has been a handful ever since she was born, constantly attempting to escape her mother's fur and explore the house when she was a baby, when she was a teenager she had an accident which basically rendered her Front right leg unusable and as a result it was replaced with a robotic equivalent. She's a rather lazy Mightyena despite for all intents and purposes being quite a friendly one, she spends most of her time lounging around the house and occasionally helping do chores or go for walks.

Gemima
Species: Gardevoir
Occupation: IT Consultant
Age: 22
Bio: Gemima is Sophie's 2nd youngest child and is one of the many children Sophie has adopted over the years (for the sake of brevity most of them will be introduced as they appear), when Gemima was 4 she was unable to contain her psychic powers and pretty much caused havoc whenever she got too emotional. As a result she was dumped by her parents on the doorstep of the hospital Sophie was working at. Sophie not willing to turn down a challenge began laying with her on a night her own dark type powers helping to control the psychic energy, after a while Gemima began bonding with Emily who was at the hospital after her accident, when it came time for Emily to come home Sophie adopted Gemima and brought her home as well. Gemima herself is a fairly quiet but well-rounded person; she regularly offers those in need and is overall fairly patient. She has an avid interest in video games alongside her boyfriend and is Tom's favoured person to lay on when Sophie isn't available.

Storm
Species: Lugia
Occupation: IT technician
Age: 21
Bio: Storm was found washed up on a local beach by one of Sophie's friends Nancy, Nancy took Storm in but found he was unable to fly due to an injury he had sustained to his wing when he was washed up. Gemima used to visit Nancy all the time due to her reputation as one of the villages best bakers, in doing so she eventually met Storm who at first was shy towards her but over time the two bonded and became close friends. Eventually Storm even asked to move in with Gemima when the two became lovers. Storm maintains his shy personality rarely ever going out without Gemima and often preferring to stay inside and fix computers as per his job, he has friends online who don't know he's a giant bird with hands for wings but maybe that's for the best. He is 6 foot 4 and usually wears a Hawaiian shirt that Gemima made him.

Margret
Species: Charizard
Occupation: Grandma
Age: Err…
Bio: Margret is the oldest member of the household and pretty much is referred to as Grandma by everyone but her kids and Vivi, she's a large Charizard who usually sits upstairs in her room writing stories and helping her best friend Vivi who lives with the family. Margret can fly and often uses this to go to town shopping for the family and also for general exercise, she has a wingspan of 20 feet and when fully stood up she is 6 foot 5.

Rosy
Species: Reshiram
Occupation: Teacher with a specialism for music
Age: 84
Bio: Rosy is a Reshiram who was adopted by Margret at the tender age of being an egg, yes while most Pokémon in this world give birth to live young Dragons hatch from eggs but that's not overly important. Rosy is a teacher with past history as the lead guitarist for a popular band, she put her rocker past behind her after a rough breakup with her boyfriend the bands lead singer. Rosy herself is a gentle dragon with an unfortunately fluffy fur coat meaning that she's often incredibly warm and needs to have five or six fans on her. She teaches a lot of subjects at her little group she holds at the town hall but due to her background she's especially fond of music, Rosy stands at 7 foot with a wing span of 25 feet.

Vivi
Species
: Delphox
Occupation: Counsellor
Age: Err….well….hrm…
Bio: Vivi is part time counsellor who lives with the family due to her being paralysed from the waist down; she doesn't know how she became like she is stating that one morning she woke up unable to move her legs. She spends most of her time helping people around the island with the aid of Margret who helps get her out of bed on a morning and helps her bathe, Vivi is probably the most sarcastic out of the family often frightening people with her odd sense of humour but she means well.

Mary
Species
: Blaziken
Occupation: Nature Reserve manager, also wrestler
Age: 233
Bio: Mary was adopted by Margret when she was just a few months old and was immediately introduced to the Mightyena of the house at the time Elderflower, she has a great empathy for others although sometimes she can be a bit too imposing on people. She stands at 6 foot 3 and wears a large dress and apron though this is to cover up the fact that she is fairly muscular in build and is able to pick up trees which is fairly useful when trying to manage a reserve, she holds the village heavyweight belt for wrestling although from her normal demeanour you wouldn't get that impression from her. She has quite a detailed list of medical qualifications due to spending a period of time as a doctor but spends her time now using those skills to manage the wildlife both Pokémon and Animal on the reserve.

Rupert
Species
: Lucario
Occupation: Painter
Age: 244
Bio: Rupert is Mary's husband a fairly successful painter whose works are mostly based around the wildlife in the reserve and the residents of the house, as a painter he has a very clear cut view on the world which is probably why he was attracted to Mary due to her being very different to him. He is 6 foot 2 and is often seen wearing a monocle and drinking tea in a desperate attempt to look as classy as his distant brother who became a business tycoon. Due to this Mary has to sometimes remind him that he should do what he does because he loves it and not because of the money.

Sarah
Species: Blaziken
Occupation: Fitness trainer
Age: 22
Bio: Sarah is Mary's granddaughter and has been staying with her grandmother ever since she can remember, Sarah's parents run a travelling circus and they decided it would be best for their daughter to have a stable life with her grandmother so that she could have friends without needing to leave them every time they travelled. As a result of this Sarah takes after her grandmother being quite into fitness but also retaining a soft motherly side, she loves children and is often seen helping her grandmother when they find abandoned young pups of varying species in the reserve.

Ash
Species: Blaziken
Occupation: Being a 12 year old
Age: 12
Bio: Ash is Sarah's little brother and is often found lying with his best friend Duchess a blind Mightyena and Sophie's older sister, who is just happy to know someone's laying with her and keeping her company. For his age he's quite mature probably due to being raised in an environment with mature people, but occasionally his more childish nature sneaks through and he causes havoc. He spends most his time with Duchess as a result of him being afraid of being isolated from his parents, Duchess was fearful of the same thing due to being blind and not being able to get visual confirmation someone was there for her and so the two bonded.

Agatha
Species: Ninetales
Occupation: Writer
Age: 185
Bio: Agatha is Willow's adopted daughter and the older sister of Sophie, she was adopted at a young age by Willow, Sophie's Mum and was pretty much raised alongside the other Mightyenas at the reserve, in more recent times she's regularly seen trying to write her new novel while also making sure her little sister and her new nephew are doing ok. She also tends to help Gemima out occasionally with the two sharing a close bond due to both wanting to help Sophie when she becomes overworked or stressed.

Willow
Species: Mightyena
Occupation: Nurse
Age: 210
Bio: Willow is Sophie's Mother and is a shiny Mightyena with a deep chestnut brown fur coat; she's a fairly quiet Mightyena but often takes time to keep an eye on her many children. Willow is often frustrated and saddened by how much her children have spread out only having Sophie, Duchess and Agatha at home with her while her sons are off on archaeological site, she's comforted by her husband a lot of the time but as a mother she worries a lot. She was adopted as a pup by Elderflower who found her on the street malnourished and alone, she took well to being in a family environment bonding closely with Mary a bond that still ties them together today.
Archimedes

Species: Mightyena
Occupation: Sheppard
Age: 213
Bio: Archimedes is Willow's husband and is a Sheppard who helps maintain the livestock that is kept on the ranch, since part of his job is being out in all-weather he has a big fluffy fur coat that was passed down to his children and eventual grandchildren. He's quite a large Mightyena at over 5 foot tall and often appear intimidating especially when encountered at night, but underneath he's a fairly calm reasonable Mightyena and it's evident that his years spent with Willow has slowly warmed him up the idea of being around children.

Elderflower
Species: Mightyena
Occupation: Storeowner
Age: Hrm…
Bio: Elderflower is the oldest Mightyena in the family and is the adoptive mother of Willow, to all outward appearances she's a warm Mightyena who runs a traditional sweetshop in the village, on the inside however she's a bit colder than she normally appears. Unlike most of the Mightyenas at the house she dislikes being cuddled unless she's used to a person, in fact her acceptance of Mary was somewhat of a revelation for Margret at the time. Once she's accepted someone she becomes a lot more open and less cold, she does have a soft spot for children though which is one thing she's never been able to shake.

Nancy
Species: Kangaskhan
Occupation: Doctor
Age: 167
Bio: Nancy was born to happy family and had a busy life becoming a fully trained doctor trained in much the same things as her best friend Sophie. She also has two children one of which being Storm and the other being an Yvetal named Yvonne who is much older. She lives in a small house working at the same clinic in the village that Sophie does, she's a warm welcoming lady who regularly wins prizes for her baking.

Hi there! It sounds a lot like you're trying to base your story off of the upcoming Disney film Zootopia, which could be interesting. Unfortunately, the rules of this section state that the first post in your fic thread must contain part of your story, so having a short description of your world and character bios probably won't cut it.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much point in commenting on your characters. Without seeing them in action, there just isn't much to say about them. Instead, I do have some comments on the world you're trying to create:

The Pokémon in this world don't die from old age, this doesn't make them invulnerable however they can still die from illness and injury. Now this would cause the issue of overcrowding but there is a way around that according to the god who created the land (Oh we'll get to him) there can only be a set number of souls in the world, when someone dies their soul is returned to the world as a new child.
This is probably the biggest issue I see with this world. Why exactly don't Pokemon die of old age? If illness and injury are the only ways to die, then all the residents must work extremely hard to cure all diseases and to be careful not to hurt anyone. Still, this just doesn't make sense because you say there are a fixed number of souls, and when someone dies they're reborn, but then that means that there's no other way to have a baby - someone has to die if parents want to have a child. That means people have to wait around for someone to die in order to have a baby, and parents don't really get any control over when they have children or how many kids they can have, which honestly sounds heartbreaking. Parents want to decide when they have kids and how many. Maybe some parents would get so desperate to have another child that they kill someone in order to have a baby. Yikes! This rule really doesn't seem necessary.

Education works differently, instead of learning and doing exams in order to get qualifications you essentially learn on the job learning the skills you need, school still exists but it's more a basis to then go out and look for a job.
It sounds like you're thinking of apprenticeships! I would highly recommend you do some research on how this works, as it has a very long history dating back to the Middle Ages.

There's a bit of ambiguity with the term 'doctor' essentially doctors slowly learn everything about healthcare, they start by learning the general gist of everything which makes them GPs, from there they then learn on the job.
I'm not entirely sure that this makes sense. There is a lot that doctors need to learn, especially in a world where people would be very concerned about their health.

There are definitely more things you'll want to think about when creating a world, aside from what's mentioned above. Like Zootopia, you should consider how/why predator and prey Pokemon get along and learn to all live in one society. I would also emphasize rethinking how death works in your world in a way that makes more sense.

Good luck!

Actually had this story in mind for a few years without knowing about Zootopia so that's a fun thing I guess

The whole predator thing is why there are real animals in this world, I wanted to have as little fridge horror as I could XD

As for the not dying thing, I always had it my mind that they just stopped ageing at a certain point

Ok, so back to something that I have been tossing around for a Mystery Dungeon fic. A boy from the Hoenn region named Carlos is turned into a Pokemon. Unlike the last few humans that have turned into Pokemon, however, he retains full memory of his former life. The circumstances that surround his appearance into the world of Mystery Dungeon (four years after the events of Super Mystery Dungeon) are having to with an instability within what would be called a bridge between worlds that threatens the balance of the human world and the Pokemon world. This instability is the anomaly that allows for strange things to happen such as Carlos having retention of his memories, the human and Pokemon worlds seeming to start to bizarrely coalesce on the same plane of existence and the upheavel of both societies as things, Pokemon and people begin to dissapear one by one. Some characters from all the other games (mainly Super Mystery Dungeon) make appearances once again to reprise roles as the Expedition Society with new characters (in the Expedition Society and whatnot) introduced as part of the story. The partner (a Zorua named Delia) is the key to the bridge anomaly as it turns out that she is in possession of mysterious scrolls that lead to what it is essentially a dungeon with direct connection to the human world. I have had time to flesh out my ideas over winter break and thought it was a worth a shot to post it on here. Tell me what y'all think.

Hello, fellow Pokécommunity members. I am currently beginning to plan a story. It is a prequel to another story I am currently writing called Pokémon Anthology. If you'd like to see what I have for it, you can go here: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=9110553#9110553

For this prequel, which takes place several centuries before the Anthology story and I've decided to call "Pokémon Anthology: IPC", I wanted to have a version of the Pokémon world I made (called Arcaea) before modern Pokémon training and the league became a thing.

IPC stands for "International Peace Corps", and they are an organization of people and Pokémon who work together to prevent conflicts that might evolve into war between regions. It is split into fifteen squads between the five regions of Arcaea, three in each region.

All of the squads are headed by a captain and a Lieutenant who can be either human or Pokémon. A common trait between the main characters (the captains and lieutenants of several squads and some other non-IPC characters) is that they are Philosophers, people or Pokémon who, after a lot of meditation and pondering, gain the ability to do things they normally couldn't. For example, humans capable of using Pokémon attacks or Pokémon capable of human speech.

I wanted to focus on a world where the type of story that is commonly scene in Pokémon is impossible, which I achieved through the whole 'several centuries in the past' thing. Then I thought of something with the kind of world I made Arcaea, and came up with IPC.

For anyone who wants more clarification on some things and want to read about other things in this version of Arcaea that they won't find on the 'Synopsis + Terms' Document for the main story, you can go here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iwGqINENnWi9nLKIQ_l6MSPyckAkYG-WWldAu_ho53w/edit?usp=sharing

I'm not sure if I'll wait until I'm done with the five main regions of Anthology before starting IPC or if I'll write the two alongside each other (since they don't really have anything in common aside from their setting).

As a side note, I decided to make the main character of IPC a new version of Sir Aaron, the character who showed up in a single movie and was never mentioned again.

Pokemon x Harry Potter x Avatar

So I'm writing a three way crossover between Harry Potter, Pokemon and Avatar, in which Hogwarts is a pokemon training and bending school, rather than a school of magic.
In my story the source of bending would come from Pokemon, much like how it used to come from the lion turtles in the time of Avatar Wan.

One of the problems I have though, is how to add a realistic version of each kind of bending, obviously with some I would have to combine, such as both ice and water pokemon giving waterbending, as well as earth and rock, but what about bug pokemon, and dragon pokemon? I have vague ideas on what to do with these, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also problematic are steel and electric pokemon, since earthbenders can metalbend and firebenders can produce electricity.

I have pretty much mapped out a full plot for the story, which would be a Harry vs Voldemort story which very loosely follows the Harry Potter plot, which is where Hogwarts comes in (Although Hogwarts would be the Eastern Air Temple).

Story takes place two avatar cycles after Korra, and the world is in the Avatar world, although much of the earth kingdom has since become different nations as per the end of the Korra series. These nations are kanto/johto etc (The pokemon regions).

Pokemon would be spirits who have chosen a mortal life (just like how the moon and ocean spirits chose mortal lives and lived in the northern water tribe (The last airbender)).
Any help would be great. Thanks!!!

@ Fennekin210 Yo, sorry for not replying to your idea earlier. To be honest I don't know very much about the Mystery Dungeon games and yet I read some MD fics, so I'm not the best person to help you with this. If you ask around some Mystery Dungeon fans, I think they'll be willing to help with your idea.

I admit I haven't checked out your story yet, but after you mentioned about the Philosophers I checked your "Synopsis + Terms" link. I was at first confused about the Philosophers, but your link did mention a few details. I'm still wondering, though, how which move will be determined for the humans and for the Pokemon if they'll have to sacrifice something in order to speak (think Meowth from the Pokemon anime).

As a side note, I decided to make the main character of IPC a new version of Sir Aaron, the character who showed up in a single movie and was never mentioned again.

I take it you'll use the same Sir Aaron but expand him a bit more?

Your crossover does sound interesting, but I do wonder why you'll be using Hogwarts as a setting if the majority of the story will feature Avatar and Pokemon. Wouldn't it be better if you just have the story be a AvatarxPokemon crossover? As for your bending uestion, I can see Dragon related to fire due to me remembering that one episode were Aang and Zuko went to see the dragon dance. For bug, perhaps earth too?

I planned on each Philosopher to use an entire type rather than a single move but, to be honest, I haven't decided how that type is determined. As for the Pokémon, they don't sacrifice anythigh; they just gain something.

And I do plan out on expanding upon Sir Aaron. For example, I planned on giving him a wife and kids in this world.

Pokemon Sigma (Non-Canonical)

Greetings, I think that this is the best place to write my crazy anime idea.

A non-canonical series of Pokemon from the first season in which Ash decides to go alone in his adventures with Pikachu and his team. He decides to face all the challenges by himself once finished the Pokemon League (Indigo Plateau Conference). Only the first 151 Pokemons and their Mega-Evolutions appear (Pikachu manages the Mega-Evolution too). And an important fact , no more Peter Pan syndrome. Ash grows old in this series as the chapters advance, something that never happens in all canonical seasons and becomes increasingly badass. He will discover new regions that maintain the same Pokemon but geography is completely different. Finally , the Pokemons may die this time .

Basically, like Digimon and Nuzlocke mixed together with only gen 1 Pokemon?

Will each "Chapter" introduce the newer generations of Pokemon one by one? And will we have new protagonists like May becomes a protagonist or Hilda/Brendon?

Yes this is the place!

While it's not the first time I heard of an idea of a rewrite of the anime (and I'm sure this section has some stories based on that), your mention of Mega Evolution does interest me. I do wonder though how you'll have Pikachu Mega Evolved if their next evolution line is Raichu. Unless you'll be doing something similar to Greninja? You also mentioned Ash will be more "badass", and I'm wondering how you'll go by that. One reason I asked is I've been hearing some criticisms of how in the XY series Ash is pretty much unstoppable in battles and it gets boring. Just something to consider.

Besides those concerns, Minun did brought up a good point over if new Pokemon from gen 2 and afterwards will be featured gradually.

I am currently planning a fanmade entry in the Fire Emblem series titled Conjoint Souls. I would like some feedback on my ideas.

Here are some basic things about the story and world: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19tJcfJGD99QNtbPm1J9OL2CNkevRfsCCiWNW7R_oils/edit?usp=sharing

I would like to say that while the continents of Valm and Ylisse are mentioned, I will be redrawing them. I want the story to happen several millennia later, so I was thinking that with some continental drifting, the different appearances of the continents would make sense.

Also, I wanted to add a song that would have some significance to the story. When I wrote it (earlier today, actually), I used "Lost in Thoughts All Alone" from Fire Emblem Fates to help. As the video maker mentions in the description, it's the shortened version from Smash 4. Basically, while you read it, listen to the song as well so it makes sense. Here's the song; the document has a link to the video I used: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SiGjyrytaVHHDZ5qhexzJSMUiswd48UNdui8HFobIG0/edit?usp=sharing
