lets say in a month approximetly there will be a FIXED version of the games?

Destiny., What i mean is while i'm playing after I get past the black screen, should i immediately uncheck the code in No$GBA?!

Taichi- Try using it with the Japanese rom.
sampika08- Different Anti-piracy coding, besides Nintendo makes a lot of money from Pokemon
orelkayam- There might not be a fix at all
doctordoom61- I uncheck it after I get past the black-screen. I don't know whether it makes a difference

I tried playing Jap rom with same save. Didn't work(It still crashed I mean).
Good news is that I'm playing again. Bad news is that it's on Desmume. Slow music, but Frame Skip by 1 helps I guess.lol

doctordoom61- Finished first badge, but I've been hacking badges to try out how long it takes to crash.

The game is playable with 8 badges, I tried hacking them. It took me 52 events to crash the emulator.

Taichi- I use No$GBA 2.6a :/
I'm afraid the DesMuMe Save files confound me :x (and DesMuMe crashes more)
Could you send me your .sav?

Actually, the game is playable as a whole, including defeating Red without hacking your badges... just your Pokemon with Pokesav (instant level up if you know how the thing works). Yeah, I already finished all of that yesterday... anyways, for crashes, here are the common ones I get...

- Trainer freeze at either the 8th or 9th trainer I battle, (still salvageable as long as you save before you battle)

- Suicune freeze when you exit the ship and go to Vermillion and then meet it at the side (same with first)

- Goldenrod Underground game crash when you enter it after going to the Radio Tower during the Rocket takeover (you will start at the last save point when you opened up your emulator, hence why exiting the emulator after saving is a good idea) I got this game crash too on my Japanese version.

- Flying freeze when you fly off to another town and then your screen won't move anymore... (salvageable by saving beforehand)

Still the same thing I posted back then on how I got it to work like this. Well, these glitches are minor compared to the ones I've been reading in other places...

i cant play using no$gba+no%zoom emulator or desumme, it freezes or it turns black after talking to oak.... help me

When I click to play my file, the ROM crashes. =/ I was thinking maybe it was my method of saving.. but idk
HOW I SAVE: Ok. So I'm saving. And it's saving. And my name is Bichu. You know how it's says "Bichu saved the game." when you're done saving? I close the emulator when it starts saying that, and by the time I close it, it usually got as far as "Bichu sav" AND THAT IS HOW I SAVE
and I close the window and start the ROM again and I'm where I saved at. =D idk if that'll help any of you or save you. If something happens don't blame me OTL

When playing the Heart Gold (U) rom on my R4DS card, this makes my game go whitescreen before it even starts O_o.

I haven't had a problem with oak but every 15 minutes or so it either freezes or stays on black with the music still going.
Has there been a fix for that on the U rom yet?

I'm not much of a hacker. xD; I use the no$GBA... sooo I guess that's why it doesn't work. :c? =totally unexperienced=

How many badges you got? You won't get past continue if you have 3-4 badges. This has happened to a few. (Myself included.) The only alternative I've got is just to play the rest out on Desmume. That's what I'm doing.

Just saying, but both me and my bro were able to go past the 5th gym so far with NO crashes on no$gba.

There was a post on the thread which gave information on how to remove the freezing (or at least, drastically reduce the freezing).

You have to unpack the ROM and remove a file called "guru2.narc".

Just to clarify things.
