Source w/ video of explosion
Way too many explosions in the United States this week. The fertilizer plant was on fire, and because of the release of methane, an enormous explosion occurred resulting in a mushroom cloud as seen here. It did pretty colossal damage; a nearby apartment complex and nursing home were damaged significantly upon the blast and it's reported to have been heard 45 miles away.
The 0:28 mark in this video shows the shocking power of the explosion at a fertilizer plant near Waco, Texas, that could have left as many as "60 or 70" dead and hundreds injured, West Emergency Services Director Dr. George Smith has been quoted as saying in a KWTX report.
