Do you really think Dark types should be immune to Psychic?
Yes. With some Dark types such as Sableye who is also part-Ghost it's a major advantage. Scrafty/Scraggy have the biggest advantage since they're the only Fighting-type Pokemon immune to Psychic moves. Also I would have beaten Will/Sabrina in HeartGold with just my Umbreon if they weren't immune XP.

Yes. You could not control the dark with psychic powers. They are too strong for psychic.

Haven't been on much, but I see it was kept active...so I thought the group died...

>:( I wanted Sneasel, not Sandile. I'm so frustrated you gave me that derpy Sandile.

Welcome to the club Tak. As Houndoomed stated...he's one of them. Although I don't battle, feel free to ask around.

Do you really think Dark types should be immune to Psychic?

-It helps a lot in terms of battle, and I think that it suits them just fine. It helps even out battles where I could have lost if it wasn't for Dark-Type being immune to Psychic.

What do you think of Dark-Type Pokemon: I love 'em! They give interesting strategies as well as very cool designs. I can't think of two Dark types that are used in the same way, and for that reason I find it a very interesting and diverse type to work with.
Your partners: Poochyena and Scraggy <3
What Types rule: Fighting types! Dark types rule!

Honestly I never understood why they are, but I sure am glad of it! I guess their dark aura must block the psychic powers or something like that? I'd understand them being resistant to it, but not immune. But once again, I'm not complaining paha.

Welcome to the club AlexOzzyCake! You'll be added once I got on my computer.

By the way guys, I'm the new owner of the club as approved by Alex. This is the first time I've owned a club so I'll try my best to manage it and keep it active.

All updated! Sorry about that.

How about a new topic.

Although we already have Dark-type specialists, none of them are Gym Leaders. Why do you think a Dark-type Gym Leader doesn't exist yet and do you think there's gonna be one in Gen VI?

As for the topic, I don't think so, because I can't even picture why Bugs are resistant to Dark, let alone be strong to; and following the motif of Dark types, I can't see how a bug would cause big damage to a dishonest person/fighter

I choose to answer this one instead ^^

I've always found this to be a very interesting point. I have no idea why they've never had a Dark type gym leader, and I really think they're really overdue for one. It's the only type that has never had a gym dedicated (despite having more than one Elite Four member using it), but I see no reason for this. A Dark type gym could easily be made for the start of the game (things like Poochyena, Purrlion, Sableye) or could fit nicely into a later on gym (Pokemon such as Weavile, Spiritomb, Scrafty) so there's no real reason not to have one imo. I certainly hope there will be one in Gen VI! Or even later in Gen V; we don't know the full details for B2W2 yet :3

I thought no one would answer that topic. (guess I'll save the other one for later >.>)

Anyway I think there hasn't been a Dark type gym leader since we haven't had enough Dark-types to build a decent gym leader. Several years ago I made up a Dark-type gym leader and right around the time Gen 3 came out and I could come up with a good time.
Now that we have more Dark types I see us having a Dark type specialist in gen 6 or in B2W2 cause who knows. They might change all the gym leaders or we'll have the same ones plus the two new ones.

Lol sorry, I just thought it was a very valid topic that needs discussing x] But yeah, I think there probably would be enough to build a team around? In Gen I there was only one Ghost type family and one Dragon type family, yet they had Elite Four trainers dedicated to just them, so I see no reason why they can't do it for a Dark gym x] Plus they've had two Dark Elite Four members, so there must be enough for them to build a team too? I think an ideal team for a dark gym leader would be made of (for the weaker gyms) Poochyena, Sneasel, Purrlion and Sableye, or (for the stronger gyms) Spiritomb, Weavile, Scrafty, Umbreon, Houndoom, that kind of stuff. :3 I reckon they could build a good team pretty easily with all the Pokemon available, so its about time they did! Or maybe Dark Pokemon are just too good and need to be reserved for the Elite Four ;]

What do you think of Dark-Type Pokemon: I think their very dark and mischievous and prove that Pokemon aren't always going to be cute and cuddly (but Zorua is my only exception :D). Been my favorite type since Gold!

Your partners: Absol and Tyranitar

What Types rule: Dark-Types rule!

What do you think of Dark-Type Pokemon: I love dark Pokemon primarily because some of my favourite pokemon are part dark types. I find their designs to be cool, and slick and their personalities devious and shady.
Your partners: I think I'll choose two; Sneasel and Tyranitar. c:

Welcome to the club Curious!

By the way guys I'll be taking a break from forums until I finish some stuff to get into college. I'll be gone for most of May, so please try to keep the club active while I'm gone. I've asked Alex to watch over the place during my absence and hopefully he'll respond soon.

Anyway lets get a new topic going to keep it active:

Do you really think Dark types should be weak against Bug types?

Alright have fun guys and I'll see you in a few weeks.

I think that Bug type being strong against Dark makes sense because most bugs are out at night and are adapted to darkness making them strong against Dark types.
