Okay, so i'm sure you are familiar with Luigi-Sans G/S/C Gym Leader Challenge, however, since it hasn't been active since over a month and I have been granted permission to carry it on I re-welcome you to...

Pokemon G/S/C Gym Leader Challenge

In order to complete this challenge, you need to choose from one of the gym leaders (listed below) and complete either Pokemon Gold Silver OR Crystal using only the Pokemon of your chosen gym leader, your challenge ends once you defeat Red, good luck!

No rules have been changed from Luigi-san's rules, to verify they are:

Rules

You may only use Pokemon used by your chosen gym leader.
This is not a race so take your time!
The first Pokemon of your type must be caught before defeating Whitney.
No glitches are allowed.
No legendary Pokemon!
No trading unless it is to evolve a Pokemon or to get otherwise unobtainable Pokemon (i.e. the Kanto starters, fossil Pokemon, and version exclusives).
HM slaves are allowed (2 maximum), but you CANNOT use them in battles!
No cheating or hacking (Gameshark, action replay ect.)
You may choose a gym leader even if someone else has started a challenge with him\her. i.e if someone chooses Chuck, that DOSEN'T mean you can't choose him.
Emulators ARE allowed and the speed up (Space bar) function IS allowed for training.
Please update your progress regularly, atleast every 1 or 2 Gyms, thanks!
Your challenge ends after defeating Red.
Please specify which version (Gold, Silver, or Crystal) you are using for your challenge.

I announce my challenge, using Erika's pokémon. Version: Pokémon Silver.

May 3rd:
20:49 - I start my challenge.
20:57 - I choose Chikorita as starter pokémon.
21:00 - I arrive to Route 29.
21:07 - I arrive to Cherrygroove City.
21:11 - I Save the game. (Chikorita's level is 7)

May 4th:
21:46 - I retake the challenge.
21:47 - I arrive to Route 30.
21:49 - I bothe the boys battling. XD
21:52 - I arrive to Mr. Pokémon's House.
21:53 - I receive my Pokédex.

21: 57 - VS. Rival

22:28 - I arrive to Route 30 again.
22:29 - I defeat Youngster Joey and register his number.
22:30 - I defeat Youngster Mikey.
22:30 - I defeat Bug Catcher Don.
22:35 - I arrive to Route 31.
A Bellsprout appears! Let's catch it!
22:36 - Bellsprout is caught. Her level is 3. I name her "Lucy" after Roswell, one of my PC friends. =D
22:44 - I defeat Bug Catcher Wade and register his number.
22:46 - I arrive to Violet City. And enjoy the music once again.
22:47 - I say Bye-bye to Chikorita. I won't use him anymore. Now, my starter pokémon is Lucy. Chikorita's EXP. points is 815, hence I decide to train Lucy 'till there before to continue.
22:49...23:00 - I train Lucy at Route 31. She reaches level 7.
23:00 - Save.

May 6th:
22:42...23:13 - I train Lucy at Route 31. She reaches level 11 and 815 Exp. Points.
23:13 - Save.

May 8th:
13:08 - It's time to continue...
13:13...13:15 - I stroll by Route 36, Ruins of Alph and Route 32.

13:16 - I enter Sprout Tower.

13:19 - I defeat Sage Nico.
13:22 - I defeat Sage Chow.
13:25 - I defeat Sage Edmond and go heal my pokémon.
13:29 - I defeat Sage Jin.
13:30 - I defeat Sage Neal.
13:33 - I defeat Sage Troy.
13:34 - I see Guriin.
13:39 - I defeat Sage Li, he gives me HM05. Lucy is at level 15.

First Round: Lucy x Pidgey
Lucy uses Sleep Powder and Wrap. While Pidgey sleeps and gets hurt by Wrap, I use Growth to increase Lucy's Special Attack. Finally I use Wrap and Vine Whip, defeating Pidgey withoud any damage to Lucy!
Second round: Lucy x Pidgeotto
Lucy uses Sleep Powder and Wrap twice. Pidgeotto wakes up and uses Gust. Lucy puts him to sleep again and defeats him with a powerful Vine Whip!
13:54 - I defeat Leader Falkner, receive Zephyrbadge and TM31.
13:56 - Save. Lucy's level is 16.

17:52 - I defeat Picnicker Liz and register her phone number.
17:58 - I see a Hoppip! Let's catch her!
17:59 - I catch that Hoppip (Phew! One minute later, there were no more Hoppips!)
Her level is 6. I call her "Juu-chan", after another of my PC friends.
18:04 - I defeat Fisher Henry. Lucy grows to level 17.
18:05 - I defeat Fisher Justin.
18:07 - I defeat Fisher Ralph and register his phone number.
18:09 - I defeat Camper Roland.
18:11 - I defeat Youngster Gordon. Lucy grows to level 18.
18:12 - I talk with the man selling a SlowpokeTail. I swear at him.
18:13 - I receive the Old Rod.
18:16 - I defeat Bird Keeper Peter.

18:17 - I go into Union Cave.

18:17 - I defeat Hiker Daniel. Juu-chan grows to level 7.
18:23 - I defeat Hiker Russell. Juu-chan grows to level 9.
18:27 - I defeat Firebreather Bill. Juu-chan grows to level 10.
18:30 - I defeat Pokémaniac Larry. Lucy grows to level 19.
18:34 - I defeat Firebreather Ray. Juu-chan grows to level 11.

I exit Union Cave.

18:37 - I defeat Hiker Anthony and register his phone number. Juu-chan grows to level 12.
18:38 - I enter Azalea Town.
18:40 - I save the game.

May 11th:
22:28 - I retake the challenge.
I get a WhtApricorn. Kurt goes to Slowpoke Well.

22:30 - I go into Slowpoke Well.

22:33 - I defeat the first Rocket Grunt.
22:38 - I defeat the second Rocket Grunt. Juu-chan grows to level 13.
22:45 - I defeat the third Rocket Grunt.
22:49 - I defeat the fourth Rocket Grunt. Juu-chan grows to level 14.

22:51 - I teleport to Kurt's house. He gives me a Lure Ball.
22:52 - I save the game.

May 12th:
22:32 - I retake the challenge and get my Fast Ball.
22:33 - I enter the gym.
22:36 - I defeat Twins Amy & May.
22:40 - I defeat Bug Catcher Josh.
22:45 - I defeat Bug Catcher Al. Juu-chan grows to level 15 and learns Stun Spore. Lucy grows to level 20.
22:50 - I defeat Bug Catcher Benny.

22:51 - VS Bugsy!

First Round: Juu-chan x Metapod
Juu-chan poisons Metapod using her powder. Metapod hardens itself. Juu-chan and the foe use only Tackle for three turns. Then, Juu-chan defeats Metapod with a final Tackle.

Second round: Juu-chan x Kakuna
Juu-chan paralyzes Kakuna using her powder. The foe hits back using Poison Sting, which poisons her. I try to cure her with PsnCureBerry, but the foe uses Poison Sting again, poisning her again. I call Juu-chan back.

Third round: Lucy x Kakuna
Kakuna remains utterly paralyzed, giving time to Lucy use Wrap and Growth twice. Then, the foe uses Poison Sting, a bad choice. Lucy misses a Wrap and Kakuna hardens itself. Lucy hits Wrap while Kakuna tries Poison Sting again. For the next three turns, Lucy uses Growth, while Kakuna is utterly paralyzed, uses Harden and Poison Sting (My God! Doesn't Bugsy notice that it doesn't work!). Lucy hits a powerful Vine Whip, causing Kakuna fly to the roof!

Fourth round: Lucy x Scyther
Scyther starts with Fury Cutter (so previsible!). Lucy starts her traditional trick, puting Scyther to sleep, and then using Wrap twice, a little Vine Whip, Wrap, Growth and Vine Whip again. Scyther wakes up and uses Quick Attack. But it's too late, Lucy wins with a single additional Vine Whip!

23:01 - I defeat Bugsy. Lucy grows to level 21.
23:02 - Lucy tries to evolve, but it's too early.
I earn the Hive Badge and TM49.
23:03 - I save the game.

Round 1: Lucy x Gastly
Lucy starts using Sleep Powder and Growth tree times, while the foe is sleeping. When Gastly awakes, hypnotizes her, using Lick then. I use awakening on her. The foe is defeated by two Vine Whips, while using Lick continuously.

Round 2: Lucy x Quilava
Quilava with a powerful Ember, damaging Lucy seriously. She puts the foe to sleep and I use a Potion her. She uses Growth, Wrap, and Vine Whip twice, defeating the dreaming Quilava.

Round 3: Juu-chan x Zubat
Juu-chan uses Stun Spore. The rest is Zubat biting and Juu-chan tackling, the foe sometimes getting immobile sometimes, 'till his defeat. She uses Synthesis once.

08:41PM - I defeat Guriin.

08:43PM - I go into Ilex Forest.

08:44PM - I take a break.
09:09PM - I return.
09:10PM - I start pursuing Farfetch'd. I save the game and take a new break.
09:59PM - I return.
10:01PM - Farfetch'd is recovered.
10:02PM - Lucy grows to level 22 and tries to evolve. I earn HM05.
10:05PM - I return to Azalea Town.

08:26PM - I go into Goldenrod Tunnel.
08:28PM - I defeat Supernerd Eric.
08:30PM - I defeat Pokémaniac Isaac.
08:31PM - I get the Coin Case.
08:37PM - I defeat Supernerd Teru. Oddish grows to level 17.
08:41PM - I defeat Pokémaniac Donald. Oddish grows to level 18. She learns Sleep powder. I exit Goldenrod Tunnel.

08:43PM - I go to Route 34.
08:46PM - I go to Ilex Forest.
08:47PM - Juu-chan grows to level 18. She tries to evolve.
08:56PM - I take a break.

10:35PM - I go to play again.
10:44PM - Route 34.
10:46PM - Juu-chan grows to level 19. She tries to evolve (again).

10:47PM - Goldenrod City.
10:55PM - I deposit Lucy. (The battle will be two x two). I enter the Gym!
10:59PM - I defeat Beauty Victoria.
11:02PM - I defeat Beauty Samantha. Oddish grows to level 19.
11:04PM - I defeat Lass Carrie.
11:17PM - I defeat Lass Bridget. Oddish grows to level 20. I go heal my pokémon.
11:18PM - I register the Bike to Select Button.

11:19PM - I return to the Gym.

11:19PM - VS Whitney

Round 1: Oddish x Clefairy
Oddish spreads a lot of Sleep powder. While Clefairy sleeps, she uses Cut five times, defeating the poor fairy.

Round 2: Juu-chan x Miltank
Miltank uses Rollout (o.O, it's super-effective!). Juu-chan tries Sleep powder, and misses. The second turn of Rollout is just umbeatable.

Round 3: Oddish x Miltank
Miltank starts with a powerful Rollout. Oddish emits a irresistible bunch of Sleep powder. Then uses Absorb and Cut. Absorb is undeniably better, so it's the attack for the next five turns. Miltank wakes up and uses Rollout twice. Oddish puts the foe to sleep again and Absorbs his energy twice, finishing the battle.

11:26PM - I defeat Whitney. Oddish grows to level 21 and tries to evolve. Whitney cries.
11:27PM - I get the Plain Badge and TM45 - Attract.
11:29PM - I save the game.

P.S.: Oddish received a name a few minutes ago. Her name will be Tara, 'cause of BinaryPeaches, one of my PC friends. =)

07:13PM - I defeat Schoolboy Alan. I go to Route 35.
07:14PM - I go to Route 36. I use the Squirtbottle on the strange tree.
07:16PM - I defeat Sudowoodo, the strange tree. I get TM08 - Rock Smash.
07:17PM - I go to Violet City.
07:18PM - I delete Wade's#. I return to Route 36.
07:19PM - I register Schoolboy Alan's#.
07:20PM - I go arrive at Route 37.
07:27PM - I defeat Twins Ann & Anne. Lucy grows to level 23.
07:29PM - I defeat Psychic Greg.
07:31PM - Misers grows to level 14.
07:31PM - I arrive at Ecruteak City. I meet Bill.
07:32PM - I receive the Itemfinder.
07:37PM - I save the game.

May 24th, 2010

07:46PM - I retake the challenge. I go to Route 42 (early huh?).
07:47PM - I find an Ultra Ball. I enter Mt. Mortar (OMG! It's dark! Well, I don't fear darkness, but... I see nothing!).
07:48PM - Back to Route 42 and Ecruteak City. I go to Route 38.
07:52PM - I defeat Salor Harry. Juu-chan grows to level 23.
08:02PM - I return to Ecruteak City.
08:03PM - I go to Route 37.
08:04PM - I see a Hoothoot.
08:07PM - I catch Hoothoot as HM slave. Back ro Ecruteak City.
08:09PM - I teach Flash to Hoothoot. I go to Route 42 and Mt. Mortar.
08:13PM - I exit at Route 42, Mahogany side.
08:15PM - I defeat Fisher Chris.
08:16PM - I delete Arnie's#, get Chris's#. I return to Mt. Mortar.
08:18PM - I exit at Route 42 - Ecruteak side.
08:19PM - Back to Ecruteak City. I deposit Hoothoot.
08:21PM - I save the game and go into the Burned Tower. I see Guriin.

08:22PM - VS. Guriin
-The hardest battle since the beginning-

Round 1: Misers x Haunter
Haunter lays a Curse on Misers, an Licks it, while he uses Ember. The curse leads him to fainting.

Round 2: Lucy x Haunter
Haunter uses Lick, while Lucy uses Vine Whip. Haunter is defeated.

Round 3: Lucy x Quilava
Quilava defeats Lucy using Ember twice.

Round 4: Tara x Quilava
Tara puts Quilava to sleep and uses Acid several times on it. But, it wakes up and uses Ember, however, it's too late. Tara uses Acid once again, defeating it.

Round 5: Tara x Magnemite
I cure Tara with Super Potion. Magnemite uses Sonicboom. She puts it to sleep, but it wakes up too early. While Tara tries Cut, Magnemite hits powerful Sonicbooms. She is defeated.

Round 6: Juu-chan x Magnemite
I revive Misers. Magnemite uses Supersonic.

Round 7: Misers X Magnemite
I try to use Misers again. Magnemite defeats him with a Sonicboom.

Round 8: Juu-chan X Magnemite (2)
Magnemite uses Sonicboom. Juu-chan utilises Lucy's old and good trick, with some difference: Sleep Powder (putting the foe to sleep) and Leech Seed. Magnemite wakes up, using Sonicboom three times. Juu-chan uses Tackle, Synthesis and Tackle. Magnemite is defeated by the absorbing seed.

Round 9: Juu-chan x Zubat
Juu-chan tries to heal herself using Synthesis, then Leech Seed, and Synthesis twice again. Meanwhile, Zubat bites her without mercy. She puts the foe to sleep with her powder and uses tackle twice. It is defeated, even waking up and trying to confuse her.

08:36PM - I defeat Guriin. Tara grows to level 24 (before being defeated).
08:37PM - I go heal my pokémon.
08:38PM - I return to Burned Tower.
08:39PM - Misers grows to level 15.
08:41PM - I exit.
08:42PM - I save.

May 28th, 2010.

08:54PM - I retake the challenge and go to Route 37.
08:57PM - Ecruteak City. Route 37 again.
09:11PM - Juu-chan grows to level 24. I take a break
10:15PM - I return. Ecruteak City.
10:16PM - Route 37... again.
10:17PM - Misers grows to level 16.
10:24PM - Misers grows to level 17.
10:25PM - I return to Ecruteak City and save the game.

May 29th, 2010.

05:01PM - I retake the challenge.
05:03PM - Lucy grows to level 24. I return to Ecruteak City.
05:04PM - I go to Burned Tower.
05:05PM - I register the Itemfinder to Select key.
05:10PM - I go out of Burned Tower.
05:11PM - I go to Route 37.
05:13PM - Misers grows to level 18.
05:24PM - Juu-chan grows to level 25. Forgets Synthesis, learns Cotton Spore.
05:29PM - Misers grows to level 19. Learns Confuse Ray.
05:30PM - Ecruteak City.
05:33PM - I enter the gym.
05:34PM - I give Charcoal to Misers.
05:38PM - I defeat Sage Ping. Lucy grows to level 25.
05:43PM - I defeat Medium Grace. Misers grows to level 20.
05:46PM - I defeat Sage Jeffrey.
05:52PM - I defeat Medium Martha. Misers grows to level 21.

07:55PM - VS. Morty

Round 1: Misers x Gastly
Gastly lays a Curse on Misers and licks him, but he's tough... He defeats it with two Ember.
Remining pokémon: 4/4
Remaining foes: 3/4

Round 2: Lucy x Haunter
Haunter lays a Curse on Lucy. Lucy puts it to sleep and uses Growth. But it wakes up and uses Night Shade. Lucy uses Vine Whip... the curse defeats her.

Round 3: Misers x Haunter
Haunter uses Night Shade, Misers defeats it with one Ember.
RP: 3/4
RF: 2/4

Round 4: Juu-chan x Gengar
Juu-chan puts Gengar to sleep and uses Leech Seed. Then uses Cotton Spore 5 times, while the foe's energy is drained. It wakes up and uses Mean Look. However, Juu-chan puts it to sleep again and uses Cotton Spore 3 times. Gengar wakes up, but the remaining energy is drained.

Round 5: Tara x Haunter
Haunter uses Night Shade, but Tara puts it to sleep (the same pattern, again!) and uses Absorb twice. Haunter wakes up and uses Mean Look. Tara uses Acid twice, while the foe mimics Acid. Tara is defeated by a Night Shade.

Round 6: Juu-chan x Haunter
Haunter uses Acid and Juu-chan uses Sleep Powder and Leech Seed. The foe wakes up and uses Acid again, but hopelessly sleeps again (XD). It wakes up later again, but his energy is completely drained.

06:09PM - I defeat Morty. Juu-chan has grown to level 26.
06:10PM - I receive the Fog Badge and TM 30 - Shadow Ball.
06:12PM - I save the game.

I think that next time I'll follow HaloSonic's fashion and put videos instead of describing imperfectly my battles. My reports will get more interesting. Thanks for the idea, HaloSonic! XD

1. Update
After the starting things I catched a Hoothoot and deposited Totodile.
After defeting the sprot tower I went to the arena. Unfortunaly I lost against Falkner at the first try.
Having beaten Falkner at second try I went to union cave, being happy i got Mus Slap. Cleared Flegmon well. Deafeated most bugs with an OHKO, after defeating Bugsy my Hoothoot evolved to Noctowl.
