For anyone who has seen Space Jam, or at least heard the magnificent on every level soundtrack, I thought that would be a nice way to rope you in. This thread is not about Space Jam, as much as I would like it to be, but Space Jam is certainly a movie that is so bad, so ridiculously dumb, that it's good, correct? It's a movie with an out of this world (literally) plot, horrendous acting (Michael Jordan deserved an Oscar imo) and yet it is a movie that people tend to love, because it is so bad. Space Jam was robbed at the Academy Awards, people. But that's enough about that film for now - what are some movies that, in your humble opinion, are so bad that they are good?

IMO, Scary Movie serie. The producers really don't seem to care what they put in it, just that it's funny. That's why it's so bad it's funny. The jokes are stupid but funny at the same time.

First one I can think of is Sealed With A Kiss! The classic story of Romeo and Juliet, told with a stunning new twist. They're seals! (see the pun in the title? Genus!) Join Romeo and Juliet as the fall and love in a story full of negative connotations like racism and sexism! Perfect for a family night with the youngyuns, be prepared to ooh and ahh at the the shooting stars that appear randomly and cross each other, every time a character calls Romeo and Juliet star-crossed lovers! Filled with meaningful quotes sure to make you ponder your life like: "A rose by any other color would smell just as sweet" - Juliet or "It's Spanky Time!" by that annoying little fish everyone hates, pick up your copy today!

I almost want to say The Last Airbender, as some parts are so terribly terribly terrible it's funny, but then it's just terrible. terrible. I think it may still be too fresh to laugh at. It may just ALWAYS be too painful to watch.

I liked Space Jam as a kid. 'Cause hey, it's Bugs Bunny. So, why not? Now not so much.

Anyway, my guilty pleasures would be the Super Mario Bros. movie and the 1998 American Godzilla movie. Both fall into the "so bad they're good" category.

I was afraid for a moment that this was actually a thread about Space Jam.

The Twilight movies are so bad they're entertaining, but only if I'm watching them with friends and making snide comments and jokes the whole time. I'm also a sucker for monster and scifi B-movies that have titles like The Brain That Wouldn't Die. Light-hearted movies (like Hallmark made for TV movies) though are just bad if they're bad.

The American Godzilla movie is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I've already seen most Godzilla movies and a lot of people will just...become so volatile at the mention of this one, but I never quite saw it. Wasn't a great movie, but I never thought it was as bad as it was made out to be.

And, come on, like half the cast are Simpsons voice actors.

I was about to mention the Nostalgia Critic, but I see you guys already know the movie is crud, though I never thought it would be a "so bad it's good" film like Planet 9 From Outer Space. Would this also apply to movies based off of our old childhood shows?

Dolemite - Best part of the movie are the fighting scenes where they don't touch each other at all haha. And the whole plot felt random and dragged.

The Room - Best acting, best story, best soundtrack (they probably blew the whole budget for this). I find it hilarious how Tommy Wiseau portrayed his character as the best guy in the world.

Freddy Got Fingered - He's a molster. A chiiiiiiiiiiiild molester! I actually pretty liked this movie. It was so random and stupid, that it was funny (and sad).

And yeah, space jam, MM power rangers, godzilla.. gosh I don't know what else. Maybe evil dead? It's been a while since I've watching something terrible :/

Space Jam is AMAZING, DO NOT DISRESPECT!

No movie comes to mind at the moment I'm afraid which fits the requirements.

The Room is the only legitimate answer for this. It is the Citizen Kane of bad movies. It is the master of so-bad-it's-good movies. It is the king, the one that all these minor bad movies bow down to. It reigns with its queen, Troll 2, over the landscape of terrible movies.

Napoleon Dynamite seems to be one of those movies people consider to be "so bad it's good" but I just think it's good all around...it was made to be like that, so that's why it's good and not "so bad it's good" if that makes sense. I mean, that's what it was going for, so it beat you to the punch, am I right?

Guess what, they're remaking it for some reason

OKAY UM Jumanji was just SCARY not so bad it's good omg. One time we were playing Clue during the time we were reading that in English and someone went to the ball room and was like "IN THE BALL ROOM YOU MUST WAIT TIL THE DICE READS FIVE OR EIGHT" and it was funny but that's all I remember about Jumanji. Other than that movie just creeping me out. :( So scary. I was too bothered by it to judge whether or not it was bad lmao.
