I just got my 5th badge and my team is:

Samurott
Roselia
Darmanitan
Zoroark
Heracross
Drilbur

I think it's a pretty well rounded team that is ready for about any opponent!

Finished Victory Road last night. Since this is probably the closest thing I've had to an actual "team" yet, a full post of them, at the levels they were going in (most of them gained at least one level on the trip):

135.gif
lvl 48
Modest / Volt Absorb

Discharge (thankfully replaced with Tbolt at the end)
Shadow Ball
Volt Switch
Echoed Voice

121.gif
lvl 47
Modest / Natural Cure

Surf (replaced with Scald at the end)
Psychic
Ice Beam
Scald (replaced with Flash when I got to the dark cave, then with Tbolt at the end)

530.gif
lvl 46
Adamant / Sand Force

Earthquake
Iron Head
Rock Slide
Strength (replaced with X Scissor at the end)

542.gif
lvl 48
Jolly / Chlorophyll

Leaf Blade
X Scissor
Swords Dance
Cut (replaced with Aerial Ace at the end)

184.gif
lvl 49
Adamant / Huge Power

Waterfall
Superpower
Double Edge
Bulldoze

629.gif
lvl 49
Calm / Overcoat

Air Slash
Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot
Fly

Now I'm back to rotating stuff though, and I'd be hard-pressed to tell you exactly who's on my team at the moment. I just evolved a Weavile last night, and I've been EV training it and an Absol. Vullaby's still there, but mostly just because it's got Fly. I'm pretty sure Vaporeon's doing Surf duty. There's a ground-ish type in there, but I can't remember if it's Flygon or Gliscor. And someone else - I think it's Arcanine...

My original game I defeated Elite 4, a week later my grandma bought me a game of choice and I went with Pokemon White, so I restarted my game to trade a starter with another random Pokemon (I believe it was Lilipup or so)....

So now, in my Black 2 game, I'm approaching Lacunosa Town, and my team now is:

38 - Liepard - nickname: Neko - item: Exp. Share
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Limber
• Fury Swipes
• Shadow Claw
• Payback
• Pursuit

40 - Pansear - nickname: *traded* - item: Soothe Bell
Nature: Rash
Ability: Gluttony
• Flame Burst
• Fire Blast
• Incinirate
• Cut

41 - Watchog - nickname: Xandra - item: Lucky Egg
Nature: Bold
Ability: Keen Eye
• Hyper Fang (going to replace it with TM Retaliate)
• Detect
• Bite (Thinking of replacing it with slam)
• Mean Look (I'm thinking of replacing with TM Thunderbolt)

37 - Dewott - nickname: n/a - item: Everstone
Nature: Rash
Ability: Torrent
• Surf
• Aqua Jet (going to replace with Aqua Tail, it learns at level 41)
• Water Gun (going to replace with TM Blizzard or Ice Beam)
• Razor Shell

35 - Altaria - nickname: n/a - item: Draco Plate
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
• Take Down
• Fly
• Dragon Dance
• Dragon Breath

43 - Emolga - nickname: *traded* - Item: Soothe Bell
Nature: Careful
Ability: Static
• Electro Ball
• Charge Beam
• Shock Wave
• Volt Switch

Watchog will probably be the "leader of the pack", I'm training it a lot and making it boost experience with the lucky egg, Neko will be second in line (thats why it has Experience Share) followed by Dewott.

I don't want Dewott to Evolve, so it has everstone. Nothing wrong with Samurott, I love it too, but I tend to favor Dewott more than its other two evo's. (Oshawott or Samurott). Same thing with Pansear, no plans to evolve it.

Originally I was only going to keep Altaria as an HM for Fly, but for now I'm keeping it in the team. I know I'm going to replace Altaria once I catch Mienfoo. I love Mienfoo more.

I've beaten the Elite 4 and caught Kyurem and Reshiram, so this is really my post-game team. It's practical more than anything - allows me to travel almost anywhere and a specific Poke designed for catching. I only really travel with 4 Pokemon. I always keep free slots for training or looking quickly at the stats of new captures.

My catcher:
100 - Parasect - nickname: In The Rye (really funny joke, I assure you!)
Item: Amulet Coin
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Dry Skin
• False Swipe
• Spore
• Giga Drain
• Rock Smash (Used to be Aromatherapy - I think I need to switch back)

My starter:
75 - Serperior - nickname: n/a - item: Miracle Seed
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Overgrow
• Cut
• Strength
• Leaf Storm
• Leaf Blade

76 - Golduck - nickname: n/a - item: Mystic Water
Nature: Bashful
Ability: Damp
• Flash
• Waterfall
• Soak (one of my favourite strategies for catching awkward Pokes is to change them to water and use Net Balls - plus it usually ruins the target's STAB)
• Surf

79 - Unfezant - nickname: n/a - item: Sharp Beak
Nature: Rash
Ability: Big Pecks
• Air Slash
• Fly
• Roost
• Tailwind

My Parasect was actually created in HeartGold and pulled in to help me complete my Pokedex. Before the next game comes out I'm planning to breed an Adamant Paras to give False Swipe a bit more sting.

Currently having a lot of success at the battle subway using:

Weavile - Jolly with life orb

Fake out
Night Slash
Ice Punch
Brick Break

Gengar - Timid with Focus Sash

Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Destiny Bond

Garchomp - Jolly with Choice Band

Outrage
Fire Fang
Earthquake
Stone Edge

My tactic is pretty much to hurt the enemy as much as possible before they get a chance to hit me back, since my team is quite frail. This helps to avoid hax in the tower.

Weavile is the ultimate dragon slayer :P, can switch to Gengar to cover it's fighting and Bug weaknesses, and Weavile can switch to Garchomp to cover it's fire weakness or against Jolteon who is one of few pokemon who is able to outspeed him, whilst he covers against dragons, ghost and psychic types that could otherwise hurt the rest of my team.

Gengar is an excellent wall breaker with focus blast and can hit everything for neutral damage with the combination of shadow ball and focus blast. Also, it can practically gaurantee at least one KO if my team runs into trouble with destiny bond, whilst Garchomp just rips through anything that is left with choice banded outrage :P

Seems to work pretty well in random matchup too :)

The others I have are Ambipom, Galvantula, Azumarill, Heatran and Volcarona.

Galvantula and Azumarill make a great doubles team- covering each others weaknesses, Azumarill hits first with water gem powered up aqua jet, with huge power is pretty baddass, and Galvantula with a 91% accurate Thunder, then Heatran which can switch in on so many threats and wall them all day, whilst doing a lot of damage.

Also love Ambipom- technician boosted, normal gem fake out, followed by return ftw :P
