Captain Sareli Meliot

Sareli looked shocked at the sight of the Poliwhirl suddenly attacking. She readied her claws, but by the time she was ready to strike, the fight was already over. The Throh started to speak. "Did you see his eyes? Unlike anything I've seen before, especially on a Poliwhirl..." he asked. The Delcatty then nodded in response. "Yeah, they're strange... Anyways, Marek. Pay attention. Do you hear the water dripping? The more water you hear, the deeper we are getting. So, you will need to listen and we'll get there so-" Sareli was suddenly interrupted as a Wartortle hit her in the back. She fell to the ground. She could hear the waterdrops hitting the puddle next to her while lying on the cold hard ground. The Wartortle laughed maniacally, while standing on the Delcatty's back. However, Sareli rolled causing the Wartortle to fall down. "Aaaugh! Why'd you do that?" he screamed. Sareli looked angrily at the Pokemon. "Well, why did you do that? You clearly do not understand who this is." She licked her paw, then readied her claws and jumped on him, while using Scratch. The Wartortle used Pound as answer to her attack, but Sareli used Faint Attack followed by Assist. Which got her Double Team. Not what she had hoped for, but it was something. She then tried to get Marek away by walking a little bit further into the cave, and used Sing on the Wartortle. He promptly fell asleep, and Sareli used another Scratch. And another one. And another one. The Wartortle soon fainted, and Sareli took the little Poké she got off him. "Marek, follow me." she said as she walked further into the cave.

Sensei Marek
Seasalt Cave

Sensei watched as Sareli was attacked by the Wartortle. He prepared himself to go and help, but before he could, the fight had gone further into the cave. Sensing that Sareli wanted to finish the insolent little Pokemon off herself, he crossed his arms and watched. The combination of moves she used were interesting, though he wouldn't have used something as random as Assist. Still, her fighting style was very different from his, and he had to respect that. After the fight was done, Marek walked closer to the fallen Wartortle. "Marek, follow me," Sareli ordered. "Hang on one second," he said, kneeling down to look into the unconscious Pokemon's face. Carefully, he parted the turtle's eyelids with his fingers, and, as expected, another red, hate-filled eye glared at him. Shocked that the Pokemon could have so much anger pent up even while asleep, Marek pulled back and quickly began trailing after the captain.

For a while, there was only the sound of the water droplets impacting with the puddles beneath them. As the two Pokemon advanced, the sound of the droplets became much more frequent and loud, as if the leaky faucet that was this cave could hardly handle the pressure of the water any longer. Sensei took advantage of the quiet, and began to enter a semi-meditative state, in which half of his conscious mind was focusing on following Sareli Meliot, and the other half was swimming in the vast pool of knowledge that was his subconscious.

In his meditative state, Marek reflected on the events that had just come to pass. Red eyes...these were not normal. Perhaps they had something to do with the increased amounts of 'bad' Pokemon roaming Mystery Dungeons of late. The sheer hatred radiating from those eyes was so great that it almost had a physical presence. Almost...was this the work of some otherworldly being? One focused on hate? Marek was only guessing, but just to be sure, he searched through the information in his mind. The species of Gengar was known to cause mischief such as this, but if the red eyes were connected to the amount of bad Pokemon popping up, then it would take an unfathomable number of Gengar to pull it all off. Instead, Marek searched for memories of old legends he'd heard. Giratina, Palkia, Dialga...Arceus...Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf...Manaphy, Phione...all these legends bounced around in his brain as he searched for the most likely one to be causing all this, until his subconscious found the perfect culprit: the Pitch-Black Pokemon Darkrai. Darkrai was said to be a Pokemon that caused endless nightmares, and it used this ability to manipulate Pokemon all over the land. Was it possible that Darkrai was using his powers to put these Pokemon in a nightmare in which the believe that everyone is their enemy? The idea seemed so far-fetched that Marek didn't even want to think about it, so he just set it aside and kept it to himself, for now.

Protege Icarus McAvia

Ike looked through the guild to see if anyone would accompany him on his trip to the Desert Oasis. He hadn't been in the guild too long, but he knew his way around and knew most of the members. Well he knew OF most of the members. He didn't see much of them, since he spent most of his time in his room studying. He figured that the majority of the members would be in the library, where most of them spent their time, studying and sharing ideas. It was the most popular place of the guild by far, being an area of vast knowledge. He enjoyed spending time there as well, but he had trouble knowing what to say to others when they were around him.
"Hey Icarus!" Ike stopped at the big wooden doors of the library and turned around to hear who had called his name. A happy young Teddiursa, Saul, smiled at Ike, "What're you up to?"
"O-oh um...I was j-just um..." Ike turned away, he always had trouble speaking to others, especially when they called him Icarus. He actually really loved his name, but he was just so used to being called Ike, that it felt weird when he's called by his full first name. Saul, for some reason, always seemed to call him that. "I was uh just seeing if someone wanted to go on a mission with me..." Ike, fidgeted a bit uncomfortably.
"I'd love to tag along!" Saul cried excitedly, "I'm surprised though, to hear that you were looking for company. I bet it's deep into the desert isn't it? You must be looking for someone to handle ground type Pokemon, since you have trouble with that." Saul's inference surprised Ike. Saul's ditsy and happy-go-lucky attitude would always leave Ike to think that he was lacking a bit in the brains department, but sure enough Saul could prove himself to be a Lost Learner after all sometimes. "You guessed right," Ike said somewhat shamefully, "Do you happen to know anyone that would help? I'm going to the Desert Oasis to rescue a Gligar"
"I could help," Saul beamed, "I can do all sorts of stuff that could help out!"
Though Ike would rather chose someone he found more adept, he sighed, he won't go away if I say know, I might as well take him along. "Okay, but make sure you're fully prepared, I'll meet you at the guild entrance in a few minutes." Ike stalked off, as Saul cheered in excitement and ran off to get ready.
Ike didn't have many friends growing up, so he didn't know what having a friend would mean. But Saul had been persistent on talking to him since he got there. This will be Ike's first mission with him, he hoped it wouldn't be utterly annoying.

Fiora looked up from the report that she was writing. It was a Lost Learners exclusive article on the most magical parts of the Pokemon world. As with all of the other articles that Fiora had written, all of the research for the article was done by her.

It was a rather peaceful, uneventful day, one of the few to come since the day that a peculiar meteor was discovered by the Lost Learners. The meteor was found, literally, on the Lost Learners' doorstep right after a meteor shower that had occurred a few months ago. The wonderful green glare of the meteor piqued Fiora's interest immediately, and she ordered the Lost Learners to take the meteor back for research and examination.

All attempts to investigate the meteor came out null, however. There was not much progress in the research into the origins of the stone, and there were no changes happening to the stone. Fiora, however, was convinced that that stone was unique, that it signified something that would likely improve the Lost Learners' standing in the world. The moment Fiora set eyes on the meteor, it was as if something had connected with her and told her that the meteor was special. Fiora was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery of the meteor.

Sighing, Fiora put the papers that she was writing aside. She still had about a week left to finish the article. The magazine itself was only to be published two weeks later. The editor of the Lost Learners magazine made sure that all editions of the magazine were finalized one week before the publication of the actual magazine itself, so that there would be a buffer time in case the research on one of the articles took longer than expected. This was a good idea, although the articles for the magazine were always written on time and had never been submitted late before.

Standing up, Fiora made a quick decision to check on the research that was being done on the meteor. Somehow, Fiora felt that something would happen on that day, and she hoped to be there when it happened.

Naomi Sanders

The Cubchoo sat peacefully behind the big , the largest one in Ferrum woods, reading a book. She snuffles every five seconds, because, what she guesses was a withdrawal for being a one of a kind Cubchoo that doesn't have snot running down her nose.

Naomi Sanders saw a group of Pichus prancing by and couldn't help herself from hiding to the other side of the big tree and go into a protective stance. They might look cute and inviting, but for her every stranger was an enemy, A result of a bad past.

The Pichus had passed by when Naomi released her breathe she didn't know she had held in. She guess she might as well head back to base, her reading wasn't any productive anyway. She stepped away from the tree and headed towards the base, making sure to keep an insight on her surroundings along the way.

The walk was, thankfully, uneventful and she entered the base quietly as possible, not to attract any unwanted untention from her fellow team mates. She sat at her usual corner and blocked the world with her own chimerical thoughts.

"Nam." The voice had called her a nickname they all picked up on.

A voice snapped her out the moment she was in her own world. It was the Lopunny who helped her on the first day as a member of the Woodland Wanderers, he was a Buneary back then. That Lopuny was blessed to have more than two words coming out of Naomi's mouth.

"Yes?" Naomi asked monotonously.

"I want to ask if you want to join us?" The Lopunny asked.

"No Thank You. I would like to be by myself for a while. By the way, has the leader gave us any orders yet?" The Lopunny sighed at the girl's ever repetitive answer.

"She's here and she's planning on something. I guess we should just wait." Was the response of the Lopunny.

She came back to his group of friends and Naomi heard one of them say:

"I guess the Ice princess said, not today." It was the Ponyta talking. One of those who don't really hate her, just the fact that she doesn't talk much.

She never minded the nickname "Ice Princess". She knew that she'd eventually be called something akin to that being so... Introverted for the most times. They do all try to act nice but Naomi was just not ready.

Naomi could always remember that first day they found her when that Buneary had saw a little Cubchoo cowering in fear. They took her in and acted all welcome-y to her. She was very detached yet everyone still acted that way. She had learn somehow to not cower in fear from the people there, but she could never fully trust them as a friend.

That day they took her in and from that day onwards, Her story started there.

Sillerax "Fearbringer" Colossus: the Treasure Hunter

Sillerax walked along the beach, he loved the sound of the waves of the ocean... he wondered what he should do today... probably go treasure hunting... he had off and on found an ancient artifact, or a small box of gold. the Charmeleon couldn't wait to find a large bunch of treasure... like the one located in Sludge mountain... however the Captain wanted that also... and she being the captain has first dibs on the treasure, and as the captain she would get the biggest portion of the treasure... he continued walking... for the most part he was walking towards Atarip Town. he passed through Atarip town with very little interest... he did however buy from the Nedorino and Nedorina twins about eight berries: four Oren's, and four Peacha berries. he continued on his way.

after he left the town behind, his mind lead him to SeaSalt Cave where he heard the sounds of battle. Sillerax hurried in to find an unconscience Poliwhirl and a picked clean Wartortle... he hurried further in, attempting to find what is going on, he readied a Thunder Punch in case he bumped into trouble with water types... eventually he found Marek's back side, "well nice to see that it's our team exploring this cave," he said with a smile, still having his Thunder Punch primed and ready.

"it's also nice to see our Captain out adventuring." he said in a mildly sarcastic tone.

Chief Lynn Hawkeswood
Lynn opened the creaky door that led her to her private quarters. The benefits of being a chief were clear enough upon entering the room. It was more bedizened, relatively speaking, than the rest of the hall. Of course, every member of the leading body had their own private rooms like this. To the left was the bed, with maroon woolen sheets, and virginly white pillows that seemed to have the fluff of a Swablu's wings. There were paper screens, with oak wooden frames that gave an extra bit of security when Lynn was sleeping. The room was also used for meetings, and on the other side of the paper screen partitioning was a round table, with on top of it a map of the region, and x's riddled over it, of course, marking the discovered mystery dungeons. The desk was placed facing one of the dormer windows. The glass was placed in a simple latticework of diamonds, that continued for every window that let the sunlight break into the hall.

Just next to the desk was her supply chest. A sturdy-looking thing, made out of pinewood, with a semi-circular lid that opened with a padlock. Of course, Lynn had her key laying in the drawer of her desk, so it wasn't that effective a tool to keep others from peeking into her personal stuff, were it not that the private quarters had a lock as well. Still, one could climb up the roof, shatter the lattices and break into the room. Not that anyone was stupid enough to want to invoke the vengefulness of the Woodland Wanderers. She used the brass key to click the padlock open and she took out her necessary supplies for the journey: a lincoln green scarf, which she could wrap around her long black-banded neck, and let the end strips hang loose over her back, and the russet brown satchel, where she carried her supplies. The satchel was divided into numerous sections and had pouches on the front for storing berries, tools, whatever she needed. On the close strap was embroidered a pin in the shape of the Woodland Wanderers emblem, a bow, pulled taut with an arrow that was awaiting to be projected at their enemy. Lynn would have to remember to take a few berries with her to the sepulchre. She would need some Oran berries for sure, and some berries to counter the underhanded means of fighting of the ghost types that haunted Lorelein, definitely Chesto berries. She closed the chest and wrapped the scarf around her before she left her quarters again, locking the door behind her and running downstairs to get some of her supplies from the kitchen.

The berries were stored in various vats, and were labelled by their names in an alphabetic order. A few oran berries, and a few chesto berries were all she needed. Maybe 3 each. She stuffed the blue and purple fruits into one of the front pouches of her satchel, for easy access and once she was satisfied with her materials, she left to the great hall. Just in front of the entrance, she and Ewan rendezvoused. Ewan had supplied himself with a scarf in similar form to the Ampharos, though with a dark red colouration and a black patched rucksack.

"You're all set?" he asked.
"Do you think we should go in a larger group?"
"If there are volunteers, sure."
"'Course there are."

Lynn stepped forward to face the great hall. Most of the Woodland Wanderers were messing about, dilly dallying, whatever you want to call it. "Attention?" she asked. No response. "Attention!" she called out for louder. The voices became hushier now. "Ewan and I are about to embark on an exploration mission towards the Lorelein sepulchre. If there are any volunteers that wish to join us, please notify us at once. For the rest of you, there are still dozens of unfilled jobs that need fulfilling. We're dealing with a hectic schedule, so we should try our best to carry the extra burden. While we are out, Oliver will be the chargé ad interim," Lynn said. The Servine, sitting at the near end of the table, let a grin slip over his face marking his pride at being granted responsibility to keep the entire hall orderly while the big guys were gone. He was the third in command, which effectively made him the keeper of order in the house when both Ewan and Lynn were away doing more important stuff, and of course, much like Lynn did when she was third, he was there to guide the recruits.

Captain Sareli Meliot

The Delcatty walked. And walked. And walked. The large cave turned into a long tunnel, as the drops falling from the ceiling became more common. The occasional puddles on the ground also grew more frequent and larger. The tunnel had so much turns that even Sareli, an experienced pirate, didn't know anymore what directions she was walking in. But then, all of a sudden, she stopped. The long tunnel had ended, and in front of Sareli was an huge chamber. The chamber didn't seem to lead anywhere or have anyone in it at first glance, but Sareli decided to not take the risk and walk back a bit. "Marek? You have to see this. You too, Si- Sillerax! What are you doing here? This is our mission! If you want to go on a mission, just take a mission from our job bulletin board! But don't ever follow someone unless they're in trouble! Sillerax, you will get no food today. Understood? Either way, Marek. There's this huge chamber and i suspect that the Scyther is there. I'm going to check, okay?" And without another word, the Delcatty ran off. As soon as she entered the large chamber, her footsteps began echoing. She walked around a bit. "Marek, Sillerax? Come he-mmph!" Her words echoed loudly, but about four Gastrodon appeared and pushed Sareli to the ground. Sareli struggled, but the four Gastrodon stayed in their spot. Then, a Scyther entered through a hidden tunnel, likely where the Gastrodon came from. He started laughing in a way that sounded, well... maniacally calm, to describe it like that. "Well, well, well. What do we have here? The Captain of the Crossblades, huh? Oh, i'm really scared." He laughed a bit again. "Mmph! Mmph mmph mmmmmmph mmmmmmph! Mmph mmph mmph mmmmph!" was all Sareli could say, while the Gastrodon held her back. "What's that? Cat got your tongue? Please, Delcatty. Surely you must have learned by now that i am not one to talk in 'Mmph' and that i also do not prefer visits. Excuse me, but i'd rather go stealing again than waste time with you. However, since you know of my hideout, i am afraid that i must get rid of you." The Scyther walked towards her, and Sareli panicked a little inside.

Sensei Marek
Seasalt Cave

How annoying. Just when he was in the middle of entering the deeper parts of his subconscious, Marek Samson was pulled out of his trance by a voice behind him. He turned around quickly, raising his fists, expecting another deranged, red-eyed enemy to lunge at him. Instead, he found a young Charmeleon whom he recognized. Putting his fists down and rolling his eyes, Marek turned away from Sillerax Colossus and gazed ahead. Marek was surprised at the size of this seemingly small cave, although its size was diminutive compared to the great Unnamed Mountains where his dojo was located. It appeared they had reached the Mystery Dungeon's end, as a grand chamber lay before them. After Sareli had finished scolding Sillerax, she addressed Marek. "Either way, Marek. There's this huge chamber and I suspect that the Scyther is there. I'm going to check, okay?" she said. The Sensei hardly had the time to tell her to be careful before she strode off into the darkness. The chamber was apparently very large, since Marek could still hear the light footsteps of the Delcatty as she explored it.

"Marek, Sillerax? Come he-" the Captain began, before a slight muffling noise echoed around the chamber. Marek didn't hesitate. Without a moment's thought, he thrust himself into the darkness of the chamber. When he entered it, a little light revealed itself from an unknown source, and shone upon a most peculiar scene: the Scyther than they had been looking for stood over Sareli as she was trapped by four Gastrodon. "...i am afraid that i must get rid of you." Marek heard the Scyther finish. "Not that simple, I'm afraid," Marek's voice boomed. He strode towards the Scyther with a menacing grimace, but the damn thing was gone before he knew it. He realized that the Scyther was far faster than he ever would be. A sharp pain could be felt in Marek's back as the Scyther's sickle-like arms sliced it. Marek's grin faded, and he attempted to punch the Scyther. He missed. The Scyther attempted once again to slice Marek. He missed. Marek ducked underneath the slice, predicting that it would arrive from behind him, and used Low Sweep to bring the Scyther down to the ground. The villain tumbled as expected, so Marek decided to take the opportunity to use Bulk Up a couple times. Now that his attack was powered up, he was ready to face the Scyther once more.

The thief got up. Immediately, he attempted an Wing Attack with the two wings upon his back. The attack hit the unsuspecting Sensei and sent him a few feet back. Marek regained his footing and faced his opponent once again, but he was gone. An attack to the back was easily predicted, and Marek ducked just in time underneath the Scyther's Slash. He attempted another Low Sweep to see if his opponent was stupid enough to fall for it again; he was not. The Scyther jumped over the Low Sweep and attacked again with an overhead Slash, which was parried by Marek's arm. The attack hurt like hell, but the Sensei took in the pain and used it to empower him, as he proceeded to grab the Scyther's arm and hurl the Pokemon over onto the ground with a Vital Throw.

He seemed unconscious for now, so Marek turned his attention to the four Gastrodon holding down his captain. Analyzing the situation for a fraction of a second, he found that battling even one of the slug-like creatures would be difficult due to its sticky hold on whatever it touched. Regardless, he lunged himself at the first Gastrodon, who was holding down Sareli's front legs, with a Body Slam. The attack hit the Gastrodon and managed to make it lose its grip on the Captain. However, Marek wasn't even able to get it to the ground since its sticky bottom held onto the ground with incredible force. The slug was still upright, and before he knew it, Marek's right arm was being held down.

He looked around for anything he could use to clobber the Pokemon. Thanks to his desperate attempts at freedom, Marek's other arm had also been ensnared in the Gastrodon's sticky grip. Looking back to the seemingly unconscious Scyther, the Sensei thought he saw it move slightly. "Hey! Sillerax! Since you're here anyway, a little help would be nice!"

Sillerax "Fearbringer" Colossus: the Treasure Hunter

During the time the captain was scolding Sillerax he remained quiet out of respect for the captain. in time things moved on. the captain went on ahead to explore a particular cavern...

within moments the captain's voice was heard and was muffled... Marek was the first to jump in... clobbering the Syther and takeing on one of the Gastrodon, Sillerax quickly moved in to the area and before he could do anything Marek yelled, "Hey! Sillerax! Since you're here anyway, a little help would be nice!"

Sillerax took his Thunder punch charged arm and charged for the Gastrodon that had pinned Marek down. He landed his Thunder punch on the side of the sea slug, causing it to collaps... Sillerax then grabbed one of Marek's arms and pulled him out from under the now unconscious slug...

Sillerax nodded his head to Marek, "who said anything about me not helping?" he tossed out the question as he prepped another Thunder punch, and landed it on a second Gastrodon, the hit was critical but wasn't enough to knock it out. one of the Gastrodon's shot a water gun at Sillerax, which he barely managed to duck before he got soaked. Sillerax responded with a Flamethrower, it may not do much but at least it would get their attention... which it did... causing them to go after him. he moved quickly away from his team mates, and landed another Thunder Punch on one of the Gastrodon's knocking it out for the count. Then one of the Gastrodon's somehow Got Sillerax with a water gun, causing him to get cold and kneel in cold.

Fighter Michael Abbott - Iron Chasm - vs. Onix

The massive rock-type pokemon turned its head towards their group and let out a roar that shook the ground near them. The Mankey and Munchlax were very worried about fighting the large rocky snake, but Mike smiled in anticipation. He glanced towards the others, "It might be best to spread out. If we're bunched together, we'd get hurt quicker than normal." The other two understood and spread out further, leaving Mike right in front of the Onix. Mike stood ready and used his Agility to boost his speed before engaging the foe. Onix rushed forward and attacked with a Tackle. Mike tried to move out of the way, but it caught Mike slightly in the side.

He quickly got to his feet in time to see Mankey lash out with a Karate Chop. Onix recoiled slightly from the hit. As Mankey retreated, Munchlax used a Lick attack that hardly fazed him, but it distracted him long enough for Mike to rush forward with a Mach Punch. The impact was slightly harder than what Onix expected, but still didn't do much to hurt him. Before Onix had a chance to attack again, Tidal Fist rushed forward with a Force Palm attack. This surprised Onix and blew him backwards pretty hard, but he soon got back up and pressed his attack, using a Rock Slide on everyone. Large rocks came at them from nowhere, their field of vision minimalized due to the attack.

Mike got up, sore, but ok. Tidal Fist wasn't hurt too bad. Mankey and Munchlax were almost done, but are still on their feet. Mike rushed forward once again, attacking with another Mach Punch. As he attacked, Munchlax used a Brick Break move, while Mankey used his own version of the Brick Break move. None of the attacks seemed to do much against the hard rocky hide of the Onix. That is, until Tidal Fist strode forward. He summoned his strength and threw Onix in the air. Leaping up, he grabbed the Onix for his Vital Throw move. At the pinnacle of his leap, he threw the Onix as hard as he could downwards. The crash wasn't pretty, but it got the job done. Onix tried to stir, but the impact was too much as it slumped down for the count. Tidal Fist landed on his feet and brushed himself off, looking at the others. The expression on his face seemed to be clear: all three of them (Mike included) had more training to do.

The Commanders of the Brute Breakers
Brutis was the first to launch into action. He took a five foot leap, an impressive feat for on his age, and slammed a Dynamic Punch into the nearest Sandslash. Its chest practically caved in, and it flew back against the nearest side of the canyon. Before its companions could react, the Breakers flew into action. Jerome gave a few Water Pulses, taking down two of the smaller Sandslashes. Boulder used Magnitude, sending a large fissure towards a couple more. They disappeared into the fissure with a scream. Cal took off charging at a different one, bashing it aside. The remaining four antagonists decided to attack now, and all of them used Slash on Jerome. The Poliwhirl fell down onto his knees and suffered all the blows the foes rained down.

Brutis came to the rescue and sent a Focus Blast right into the back, forming the energy ball in his hand and launched it at full speed. It knocked one Sandslash away, and startled the rest. While they looked away from their prey, Cal tore the other three to pieces. The first thing Brutis did was approach Jerome. "Jerome, are you okay?" The Poliwhirl looked like he was weakened severely.

"I-I'm fine boss." He began to hack and weeze. "I can fight." Jerome stood up shakily, but fell down. It was clear he wasn't going to make it back to the base without serious medical attention, and he definitely wasn't going to make it to the burial grounds.

"Boulder, stay here and defend Jerome. Can you do that?" The Golem nodded. He was a man a few words: Strong and silent. "Good. Cal, Hendrick, we press on." Hendrick nodded. He couldn't talk because of the weight of the coffin and Brick. The trio began to make their way further into the canyon.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brutis watched Faber attempt to kill a Beedrill, and ultimately fail. It was go time. "Jen, let's go!" He flicked his leg out with a Mega Kick and hit two of them with his outstretched leg. Jen began to use Confusion, and every Beedrill in three would drop. The two rookies just struck out at every Beedrill that came into reach. Within half an hour, all of the Beedrills were gone and the team was exhausted. "Good job guys." Bruce sprawled out on the ground, panting. "I suggest we should take a break." Everyone silently agreed, but they wouldn't let the others know that.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tidal Fist looked at the three rookies, somewhat disappointed, but also a little proud. They managed to hold their own against an Onix. Of course, they weren't nearly as strong as the Hariyama. "Good enough." He gave a gruff nod and led the youngsters farther in the cave. It was getting dark, but their eyes would become accustomed to it soon. "That Shroomish is said to be on the fifth floor, going down. There are tough pokemon down here. Whatever you do, do NOT get seperated." He looked to the three younglings. "You may think you can take on the world, but this is not a game. You can DIE down here. Stay close to me. Do that and you'll be fine." Void nodded and looked to Scrambler, who nodded as well. "Good. Come on. Let's go."

Victor Samuels

Victor was on guard duty when he heard an explosion. Victor was used to guard duty as he had been spending almost his entire first year as a guard. Only when he evolved he started going on missions. He still went on guard duty but he started to go on rescue missions soon after this.

Back in the present, Victor rushed towards the place where he heard the sound. he was knocked back by a powerful Fire Blast and he then saw a Macargo and a group of Slugmas heading towards him. He had never seen anything like this.

Victor, Luke and Rachel were sent on a rescue mission to rescue a Skitty who was lost in the Deep Ferrum Woods. They had only started travelling in the evening and so decided to set camp. Victor kept the first watch while Luke and Rachel slept.

"Luke!" Victor shouted.

The Magmar heard Victor's scream and woke Rachel up. The Magmar and the Meganium rushed towards Victor but were astonished to see the sight before them. Victor had a yellow glow around him and his eyes glowed red. There were about 20 Slugmas around him. Victor often became like this when he got angry. The Magmar used a powerful Hyper Beam on the Slugmas and Rachel caught a lot of them with powerful Solar Beams. Soon the full group of Slugmas were vanquished and Victor seemed to calm down. Motioning towards Luke he said, " Come on let's get back to camp.

Protege Icarus McAvia

Ike had went to his room to back to his room to get his Detect Ribbbon, which he tied to his necklace. He was in a hurry to get to the entrance, wanting to make sure that he was the one waiting for Saul, not the other way around. While running, Ike turned a corner and ran straight into Fiora, who seemed to be concentrated in thought.
"Oh my Acreus, I'm so s-sorry Prinicpal Fiora, I should've seen you there." Ike said nervously, feeling bad for his negligence.
"I'm in a hurry but I'll properly apologize to you when I get back from my mission," Ike was having a bad day already, he just wanted to get through this mission.
He got back to running, heading to the enterance of the guild. As he approached it, he say a young Teddiursa waiting for him. "It's about time," Saul smirked.
"Let's just go get the mission done," Ike was irritated about how the day was going. He hoped things would be better at the Desert Oasis.

Colin Hughs (Grim)

Grim floated through Medeis Town heading towards the bulletin board to see the new jobs posted up. Grim being the person he is he waves hello to everybody he floats by. To the shop owners Nidorino and Nidorina, the Alakazam that runs the bank, and last but not least the Blissey who was standing right out her house.

"Hello Blissey." Grim says.
"Hello Colin." Blissey says.
"Blissey I told you before I'd prefer you call me Grim. Only family members call me Colin." Grim says.
"Yes, yes I know but don't you think I have seen you enough to be considered family?" says Blissey.
"I have come to you a lot so you got me on that one, but please I'd prefer not to think about my family. So can you please call me Grim for now on?" asks Grim.
"Why of course dear." Blissey says.
"Alright thank you Blissey take care now." Grim says as he floats off.
"You too... also I heard you are now part of the Arcane Alliance. Is this true?" asks Blissey.
"Yes, indeed it is." Grim says.
"Well that's good for you it's always good to have friends watching your back. You remember that now." Blissey says.
"Alright then I'll see you when I need some healing." Grim says.
"Hopefully that won't be too soon." Blissey says.

Grim smirked as he continued once more to the bulletin board. He arrived to see the board almost full.
"This is strange. This board is almost never full. It is usually picked clean by the time I get here with a few others being the ones nobody wanted. Well how can I complain at least I can grab a couple and pick the ones I feel most fitting for me." Grim says to himself.
Grim scours the board until he picks off five different papers all that seemed to not only have a good reward, but also something not to crazy. Grim takes these papers back to the base where he sees it to be empty. Grim was left there to his own thought wondering where everybody went. He knew Victor took a group out a bit ago, but he didn't remember if King ever said anything about leaving. With Grim not wanting to put this stress to his mind he scattered all five of his papers on the table to thoroughly look through them to decide which one seems the best one to do.

Captain Sareli Meliot
As soon as the Delcatty's front legs were freed, she slowly turned around so she could see the two Gastrodon holding her back legs. Sareli thought for a moment. Let's see, she could use Dig but that would require her to turn around again and it was pretty hard for her now, she could use Copycat but that would require the two Gastrodon to use a move... Faint Attack was impossible because her back legs were stuck... So that meant she had to use Sing, Scratch or Assist. Great. Sareli closed her eyes. A good song, a good song...Yes! That was it!

"In vento cogitatio, spirat in vento
E vacuo lux elucet, lux e vacuo
E somno somnia cre'ta, somnia e somno
In clara umbra creatum versat

In vento spiritus flat, spiritus in vento
In fusco lumen ignescit, lumen in fusco
E somnis verita nata est verita nata
E nihil omnia cre'ta sunt omnia creata

Pel Amar vinya-onant
Feä raniel vilyadessë sira

Lindelë sama calad
Oloriello illuvë onant
Ëa"

Sareli was never all that sure about what it meant. According to legend, the song was a soothing song mothers would always sing to their children after meeting the 'Golden Composer', a Kricketune that was said to once have found the song written on a stone in ancient letters. However, the song worked perfectly and the two Gastrodon fell asleep. Now she only had to take them out and get them off her. But since they were sleeping, the task would be considerably easier. She used Scratch a few times, but after a while, it just didn't seem to be that effective. So, she used Assist. Bulk Up...Not the best, but it was something. She tried again. Because leaders don't give up. Never.

Thunder Punch. Exactly what she was hoping for. It did a fair amount of damage, but the battle, or rather struggle, wasn't over yet. She used her Assist a third time and launched a strong Metal Claw. The blast was enough to get them down, so she slipped away under them. It hurt a lot since they were sticky, but moaning from the pain she stood up.

"Scyther! You are a criminal, got that? And we are the Crossblade Crew, so i believe that your end is coming." With that, Sareli used Dig and popped up behind the Scyther where she used Faint attack. Scyther was a lot lighter than the Gastrodon, but also faster. As soon as he got hit, he stepped backwards. He used Fury Cutter on all three Pokemon in the room, though seeing as he was already wounded he only could hope for a hit. Sareli did get hit, and landed against the rock wall. Ouch. Everything hurt. "Sensei, you got the berries, right? Pass me an Oran.." she said softly, but since the cave was large and both Pokemon were on different sides of the room, she wasn't sure if Marek heard it.

Sensei Marek
Seasalt Cave

This Scyther would not get the best of Marek. Even after the Fury Cutter attack, the Sensei stood tall. Cracking his knuckles one last time, he looked around at his other foes. Two Gastrodon lay sleeping on the floor, while another was knocked out cold. The only two enemies left were one Gastrodon and their target. Poor Sillerax was now injured because of the Fury Cutter, and sopping wet from the water gun. Meanwhile, Sareli wasn't doing any better, as she was backed up against a wall ready to pass out. Marek himself wasn't doing that great, with two slices on his body and a few bruises from the places where the Gastrodon had held him down. Looking inside his bag, he decided that the team needed a few Oran Berries. Marek couldn't risk throwing them to the others or the faster Scyther might intercept the berry midair and eat it himself. Instead, Marek sprinted in the direction of the wounded Charmeleon known as Sillerax.

"Here! Take this!" Marek ordered, practically stuffing the berry into Sillerax's mouth. He proceeded to take a berry himself, and felt instantly revitalized. The Scyther, clever little bugger that he was, stood over Sareli, knowing full well that Marek would try and give her a berry next. He didn't stand there as a threat to the Delcatty, but rather as one to Marek. The Sensei could not let the Scyther get a hold of the backpack either, or he'd be able to heal himself and the Gastrodon.

"Sensei, you got the berries, right? Pass me an Oran.." Sareli said weakly. The Scyther had now apparently gone, but Marek could sense he was still here. The scoundrel was using the shadows as his ally, as all thieves did. "Come out, you damn villain!" The Sensei said. The Scyther obeyed, popping out of the shadows to the right and slicing at Marek. The blow hit, and the Throh almost lost his footing, but managed to stay upright. "Come on!" he goaded, waiting for the Scyther to fall for it. As expected, the simple-minded thief struck from the left next, and with the exact same kind of Slash. Marek ducked the attack and attempted another Low Sweep, but the Scyther jumped over it. Before he was able to retreat to the shadows, however, Marek managed to grab him by the neck and land a few Brick Breaks before the slippery criminal got loose and dove back into the darkness.

Sensei took the opportunity to use a few Double Teams, and then started running at Sareli. Knowing that he probably wouldn't make it to her before the villain attacked again, Marek took the risk of throwing an Oran Berry at her. Thankfully, the berry left his hand just as the Scyther sliced at him, and flew towards the captain. Almost instantly, the Scyther's head propped up at the smell of the berry, and he started towards it at a vigorous pace. Marek, knowing that he wouldn't be fast enough to intercept without extreme precision, planned a Body Slam. At first, it seemed as if he was attacking thin air, but instead of trying to attack the Scyther, Marek was letting the Scyther fall in the way of the attack. The scoundrel didn't have the time to stop because he was going so fast, and before he knew it Marek lay on top of him. "Sareli! Eat the berry!" Marek shouted, as the Scyther began to writhe around, getting free.

Sillerax "Fearbringer" Colossus: the Treasure Hunter

Marek ran over to Sillerax's side and shoved a berry into his mouth, "Here! Take this!" he had ordered.

Sillerax felt revitalized and ready to fight again... and now he was angry... the Syther they were fighting was making it more difficult than it needs to be.

Sillerax jumped at the remaining Gastrodon and landed a thunder punch on it, he then followed it up with a metal claw, the attacked knocked the slug out cold. Sillerax then turned his attention to the Syther, who was struggling underneath Marek. Sillerax ran over to where Marek and the syther were, and stood in front of the Syther in the direction he would have to run... if he got away... Sillerax decided not to even give him the chance, so he knelt down onto one of the Syther's arms helping Marek pin him down, "your making this a lot harder on you than it needs to be," Sillerax warned the bug. Sillerax glanced over to Sareli, and said "I came here not looking to follow you guys around like a lost poochyena... more to see what I could find." the Syther still was struggling, and Sillerax was struggling a little to keep hold of him. Sillerax turned to the Syther, "if you don't quit Struggling... I might as well give you a taste of what fire feels like." he said, being rather irritated at the whole situation, as he prepped a flamethrower in his mouth ready to knock this bug out. Flames were licking at the corners of his lips, hungry to burn.

Fighter Michael Abbott

Their first encounter with an Onix went well enough...at least, in Mike's mind. Considering that he held his own and being thankful that Tidal Fist was so powerful, this was a well-deserved victory. However, he had a feeling of dread when they got to a cave entrance. Shroomish was on the fifth level, but Tidal warned them to stay close to him. The pokemon below may be more fierce than the Onix they previously fought. That was what Mike read into their leader's statements.

He allowed the others to go ahead. Mike would be their rear guard entering the cave. His eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness as they walked. Every so often, he'd turn to look behind the group to see if they were being followed. His muscles tense and ready for more action, he kept pace with the others.

Eclipse N. Artemis – Guild of Stealthy Sneakers

------------------------------------------------------------------

Eclipse stood along the sidelines, quiet as he observed the happenings of the guild as the day began. Numerous people doing numerous things, some arguing, some horseplay, and some were just as calm as he. Regardless, large amounts of the guild seemed rowdy at times.

One of the hardest things he ever had to do in his life; keep thieves from stealing from clients... and each other. Just the other week, a guild member was removed from the guild for trying to steal from the treasury before getting caught by Eclipse himself. Keeping the guild under control was made even more difficult because no one except for a few in the guild knew that he was the guild leader. The fact that these members would be the face of the guild worried Eclipse. He would have to leave soon and he was uneasy about leaving the guild from his supervision for a few days.

The fact that he was leaving the guild did even more to frighten Eclipse than his mission, which was to observe the destruction firsthand that he had heard was going about in the lands. He would be going by himself and on leave, he would appoint a trusted friend to take control of the guild temporarily. He wanted to rush the mission but knew this would be a mistake if he wanted to get good results. Today would be his last day at the guild so he observed every single last detail of any soon-to-be trouble around the guild.
