Earth and Sky!: Pokemon Battle Royale! [T]

Shadoan looked back at the two and back to Kiba as he sighs, whispering to him. "I had the idea they were both together like that, I was oblivious until my own team knocked me over... I will still act oblivious until he is ready to tell me. If he hasn't shown me yet, thats his business, not mine. I'll respect his privacy until he's rea-." The group stops to spot Julia, laying on the ground with 6 pokeballs surrounding her, her clothes scorched and covered with Ash from her venture in Dragons Furnace. "-dy... Is she ok?...." Shadoan walks over and checks her neck for a pulse. "She's fine, just unconscious...." He picks up her pokeballs, storing them into his bag on his hip and lifts her up, piggy backing her onto his back. "Lets just get to the vendors and see if we can find a doctor."

Avaith smiled as Mello twirled around. "Yea, you can call me Avi. As long as I can call you Meli." He gives her cheek a quick kiss and sighs. "I think were being too hard on Jev. He is a jerk most of the time, but he did push us together when he saw the first signs of it. More over, he's not bothering us.... He's been carrying that large rock since we started walking...." Jev calls out to them "I'M TRAINING YOU WALKING GRILL!"​

Avaith's face flushed a deep dark red as he turned his head back a bit with a smile. "Well, I didn't think you'd be interested in riding a fur ball hot air." He chuckled a bit while looking ahead. "You fell over. When I woke up, you were sleeping on my shoulder and caught me by surprise. I panicked and moved... Sorry for lying.... Though it bothers me... I remember sleeping by Shadoan last night and wake up beside you." Jev chuckles to himself, keeping his trap shut as he helps cover the rear.

Shadoan signaled Light to cover the front with Stella and he looked back at Jev. "Drop the boulder Jev, I need you to guard us where we are at." Jev gives Shadoan a frown with a set of angry eyes. "This is serious Jev, If this girl was wounded where we found her, we need to be ready." Jev finally put his boulder down and ran up to the rest of the group with arms behind his neck, keeping his eyes peeled and about.

As the boys continue to walk, Shadoan's ears flicker as he hears an engine in the distance, the sound of vehicles, Shadoan looks back and notices several jeeps with military cameo's driving up through the mountain passages. "EVERYONE! SIDE WALL, NOW!" The group and their pokemon get out of the way of the moving jeeps as the pass by. Trucks full of trained militia men with crates of weapons. As the jeep passes by, another car drives by, loaded with 3 passengers. The driver looked like he was with the military group while the other 2 looked like trainers, one dressed in red while the other was dressed in yellow. As the group get off the wall and back out onto the center of the road, it rose suspicion. "Military?....Here?...."

As the group look onwards in the direction they went, fire pokemon were following up on their tail and coming into contact with the group.

"KILL INTRUDERS!THEY RAN OVER OUR NESTS!BURN THEM!" The fire pokemon were enraged as they fought back against Mello's Psychic power and were still moving forward. Though the crushing power of Mello's abilities were pushed to crush them, they kept moving forward with rage in their hearts, bursting past her power and moving ahead. The wild pokem on let out a combined fire blast towards her as Avaith jumped in the way with a Fire Wheel to push it back and re-direct it to the walls. "This isn't good......" Shadoan's eyes narrow. "ULLA! I NEED A BLIZZARD HERE GIRL! ANYTIME NOW WOULD HELP!" The winged bird flew over the pokemon, releasing the ice attack in hopes of pushing back the oncoming march of fire-types. Avaith stood infront of Mello, ready to defend her as Jev prepared to counter.

"I don't think it's us they're furious with. Lethia's pokemon might be territorial, but we haven't disturbed any place with our presence... I'd wager all my badge components on that military that drove by here..." Shadoan looked back as the fire types were slowly receding and falling one by one. "Now that I think about it, shouldn't there be an E&S officer?" In a flash of light from the retreating pokemon, the fire types fell asleep, as well as the boy's team's. As the flash dimmed, a purple Magnetron was floating by with a blue scarf attached to its top head. "Mig, 5th Divison, I am searching for the faction that drove by, where did they go?" Shadoan points off in the direction the military left in as Mig bows his head respectively. "Thanks." The purple pokemon then took off in a blaze of speed.

Slowly but surely, the boy's pokemon were waking up, one by one as the rampaging fire types stayed asleep, Flare coming above ground, unaffected from the flash. "... We should catch a charmander and finish getting a fire type for the job." Shadoan tosses another unregistered ball, once again, capturing the next pokemon without resistance.​

The boys made their trek until the pokemon were out of view. Shadoan sighs and looked back at Jack. "The job is a bit too easy, though they're just weak pokemon, we kind of had a break. First the green yet dangerous trainer takes out the grass types for us. We fought the fire types with what we had, though even then that was thrown at us by the military faction." Shadoan glanced at Julia, the girl he was carrying and sighed. "All in all, I'd say we were a tad lucky... Though if one of the leagues pokemon is going after the men in the jeeps, then there's bound to be more trouble brewing than some deadly green-trainer..." The boys reached a fork and took the turning point towards the vendors. "..I think when we get to the vendors, we go to the info booth and fin out more....about........Le.....thi....a............." Shadoan's voice trailed off as small stones were suspended in thin air around the group. Small, brown and gray stones. "...Are any of your pokemon doing this Jack?" The boys keep walking through until what came next really blew reality out of proportion for Shadoan. The boys, walked around the next bend to discover a valley of lava, swirling in a clockwise fashion as multiple boulders, stones were hovering above it. Above the burning vortex were small floating islands, also rotating and suspended in the air, with thousands of flying and dragon pokemon flying every which-way about. The islands were covered in bright green grass, trees, plants, there was even one that was just a big bowl containing a small lake!

Avaith, Jev, Light, Ulla and Stella just stared with jaws dropped wide open.

Lethia Geography: Gaia's Heart
These massive floating islands are the reason why satellite signals, among other com. devices, no longer operate in Lethia. The floating islands are loaded with a type of magnetic mineral that, if put into motion, will reject the earths EMP and suspend itself float-less in mid air. The lava below that rotates produces this mineral and creates 10 lbs. per year in Lethia.​

"They have no intention of eating any of you." Once again, another E&S officer, this time, a pink Dragonite and like the others, it had a scarf around its arm, a blue one. "Lily, 5th Divison, My job is to escort trainers across Gaia's Heart." Shadoan studying the pink pokemon up and down before speaking. "The dragons won't eat us.....why?" Lily paused before she started laughing. "Their stomach's are still digesting their morning breakfast, it'll be a few hours before they go hunting again." Shadoan looked back out onto the floating islands and the vortex of magma. "How....when did..." Lily chuckles as it patted Shadoan head. "This is the reason none of the GPS systems work. The whole cluster of islands are magnetized, constantly rejecting the earth's EM field, thus allowing them to fly, the mountains adapted and gained the same field so the whole island can't be found... not by the new ways of course. Though storms happen often here, mostly lighting." Shadoan was a bit puzzled as he looked to Lily when she mentioned the word escort earlier. "So...when you say escort, you mean you fly us to the islands or around the valley?" "Both." Lily replied happily. Shadoan sighs as he turns around to present Julia to it. "Well, we need to get to the vendors or some doctor that knows medicine, we found her on our way here." Lily examined Julia and checked both her clothes and skin. "She looks like she's been dehydrated, she needs fluids and some bed-rest. The Vendors are on the other side of the valley and I'm willing to offer travel, but I can only carry one at a time, unless one of you prefers to stay a while in Gaia's Heart and later catch up with the others..."​

Shadoan squints his eyes, looking back and forth between Jack and Kiba. "Let Jack go to Gaia's heart, he looks like he wants to explore the place so why not let him? We can come back here once we heal her." Shadoan looks down at Avaith and nods. "Go with Kiba. Be good to her." He rubbed his nose as Avaith smiled and hopped up onto Flares back beside his mate. "Jev, go with Jack." Jev paused and looked at Shadoan in surprise. "Maybe Jack can teach you some dicipline on our seperation. It really shouldn't be too much trouble now should it?" Jev looked back at Bravo and Echo and he sighed, turning back to Shadoan. "I'm doomed." Jev the walked over and stood beside Jack as Shadoan tossed him his pokeball. "He'll behave as long as you can watch him... Plus he's stronger than he looks." Shadoan turns to Lily with a decision made. "I and Kiba will be riding Flare across the valley if you can lead us, we need to get this girl to some medical attention as our first priority. Jack wants to explore this place so we will be back to meet up later, if thats alright with you...." Lily nodded as if it wasn't much of a problem. Shadoan tied a rope around Julia's wrists to keep her attached to his back as he held onto her leg when he board Flare. "Is everyone fine with this? If you have any objection, say now and make your peace."​
