Elite Four Challenge
Rules
  • HM slaves are allowed.
  • This challenge is for all main games. You can pick any elite four in any game.
  • Duplicate Pokemon are allowed
  • You may hack/trade in Pokemon at a max level of 15(You don't have to, but this rule is there if you need it)
  • You may trade/hack in evolutionary items if they are in the post-game.
  • Challenge is finished after defeating Rival (RBYG/FRLG), Red (GSC/HGSS), Steven (RSE), Cynthia (DPPt), Alder (BW), or Iris (B2W2).

Hey, I'm new here but say I wanted to do Lorelei... would I have to have her exact team? For FR I was planning on hacking in a Lapras instead of Squirtle but that is all really. As Slowbro is not available in FR (I'd rather play FR so I can have Cloyster) are there any pokemon I would be able to replace the Slowbro with? I was thinking something like Tentacruel, Omastar, or Poliwrath (and adding Articuno so I have 6)... so would all of that be allowed? My final team would most likely look like this

Lapras (starter)
Cloyster
Dewgong
Jynx
Articuno
Tentacruel, Omastar, or Poliwrath

If your playing firered couldn't you just use her gen III After Sevii team or 2 cloyster's istead of slowbro? but if not possible I'll put you down as Lorelei alternate team,Below is her Gen 3 After Sevii team:

Yeah that's fine. I think I want to play my FireRed cartridge though so I suppose I'll just start with Squirtle. How should I handle that not being able to get one of her pokemon until I have surf or a super rod though? Just solo with Squirtle until I can?

Yeah put me down. I'll ditch Squirtle as soon as I get the first team member. Pretty sure I can go to Seafoam before I do Silph so I guess that will be Shellder and Seal

EDIT: First Update

-Named myself Lorelei (Obviously)
-Obligatory naming of Rival as Douche
-Started with Squirtle, named him Temp because that's what he is
-Defeated Douche's Bulbasaur with a Crit from Tackle
-Got Oak's Parcel, a PokeDex and a Town Map
-Again defeated Douche using Temp who had grown to level 11
-Stormed through Viridian Forest using Temp
-Defeated Brock with Temp who after the battle evolved into Wartortle and saved the game

Current Team

-Temp the Wartortle Level 16
--Tackle
--Water Gun
--Bubble
--Withdrawal

Quick on before bed

-Got Running Shoes Wooo!
-Took on all the trainers prior to Mt. Moon
-Stocked up on items at the Pewter Mart
-Beat down every trainer in Mt. Moon and emerged from the cave
-Took on Cerulean Gym trainers
-Challenged and defeated Misty with Temp and his Bite attack
-Temp grew to level 25 after this victory
-Saved the Game

This challenge looks like it might take a while. I just have a quick question. If I'm going to play heartgold, can I use the team that is at 16 badges or do I have to use the one that's for 8 badges :/
