My first time playing Ruby, my team was practically just Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken. A few times I needed some other Pokemon, and when I did, I made sure to have one of whatever type I needed. But Flamberge (as I nicknamed him) pretty much wiped the floor clean in most every battle. I can't remember what his moves were (too long ago), and I can't really remember what other Pokemon I used 'regularly.'

However, this second time around, I'm using Treeko/Grovyle (I'm not planning on evolving him to Sceptile), Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir, Poochyena/Mightyena, and maybe Gulpin/Swalot so far. I haven't really found any others I want at this point, but I'll certainly be wanting a water-type.

Well, this is the Team I have now (but, I might make some changes to it):

- Sceptile
(I kept resetting the game so I thought I would just stick with my ever-loving Treeko and give it a shot... Months later, no resetting!)

- Azumarril
(I caught it first as I had thought carefully of a Pokemon to use for HM's but, it turns out it's pretty strong too!)

- Spinda
(Many people probably wouldn't have one but, I was going through a Spinda craze and caught one. It's actually very helpful, especially when I have to go up against Sidney's Shiftry [which keeps using Swagger] as the Own Tempo ability prevents confusing. Yey!)

- Flygon
(Well, I wanted a cool Dragon-type as a Pokemon with the Fly HM but, I didn't want to bore myself training it. Flygon grew up quite quickly actually and is a great addition to my team.)

Most people would probably have more but, I'm trying to train up some more Pokemon as I don't want to have Legendaries on my Team (I don't like training 'em) so, I post if I make any changes.

I restarted Leafgreen yesterday after I transferred all my rare Pokémon over to Platinum.
