1.First open unlz-gba and rom you want

2.go to pokemon number

For FR/LG is 700-1498

3.make a backsprite

4.Import your pokemon backsprite.(make sure is indexed)

I'm going to show example of backsprite change by using charmander backsprite.

NOTE: I will change it to front sprite

1.Charmander backsprite.

2.Import backsprite.

3.press write to rom and check all boxes

4.Then,press Ok.

NOTE:
If these happen

Use your hex editor and look for free space.

change the image offset to the free space number.

This message will show up means The pointer is changed and it will works

Is this really a tutorial? You ar showimg us a bad step by step tutorial, where you will replace a backsprite with a font sprite? If i where a master hacker, i would simply ignore this, but iam n00b, soooo.... I will maybeuse it.

You don't have to chenge the backsprite pallet in APE. The backsprite is supposed to be shiny.

after seeing the backpic, you can just press that 'previous Pal' button to view the original palletes of the PKMN's backsprite...

Lil explanation about that..!

Their are two sprite, the Front and the Back sprites..!

SPRITES = COLOR

FRONT = NORMAL COLOR

BACK = SHINY COLOR

Pretty easy to Explain..!

Pretty basic tutorial. It covered the basics, but its a well made tutorial. You could've also added how to change the palletes...
