Apps You Play?

What are some apps you play on Android, iPhone, etc.?

I play SketchPhrase, DrawSomething 2, The Simpsons, Sonic Dash, Guess Movie/Brand, RO Valkyrie, RO Violet and Plants vs. Zombies. I might play Farm Story 2, but not sure.

SketchPhrase is neat because it's like DS, only you make a comic strip at the end :) so it makes for some funny "banana phone" fun, only with drawings. Someone might start with the phrase "smile" and along the way, drawings are misinterpreted until suddenly, it becomes a "hammock" and then a "swing." My username there is ~ Belldandy ~

DS is nice because you can play games with multiple players and keep your game active with a specific person. SP is more variety and randomness.

The Simpsons is the only town-building simulation game I like. I tried Megapolis, but it was a bit weird in comparison :( didn't like the graphics, goals or gameplay. Also, just because The Simpsons offers that nostalgic, childhood essence, too, helps me prefer that over others. You can add me, too, as a neighbour: belldandy21

The Guess Movie/Brand is a bit harder than I thought it would be, though. Level 1 was way too easy, but Level 2+ is way too hard. In fact, the very first image I got for Level 1 even was "Louis Vuitton." No idea wth that is even now lol and who would? Esp. as the very first question? Not even MacDonald's lol

RO Valkyrie [Uprising] is like Ragnarok but for your phone {XD} and I love me some Ragnarok. The gameplay / controls are a bit weird, and the customization is quite limited (which makes me sad), but overall it's something I can play and not really complain about.

RO Violet is a offline and more questy. I don't like some of the main character's responses and facial expressions, though. It really hinders my experience because he uses messed-up faces often enough -_- Very distracting. I play it for the gameplay, though. Smoother than online IMO.

PvZ is just a classic that I had bought for 2.99$ on my Android and repurchased for 0.99$ on iPhone. Everyone should try it at least once; it's comical, random, tactical fun.

So what do you play on your phone? ^^

I have a Samsung Nexus or something like that... I pretty much only play Robot Unicorn Attack and my VBA emulator I have on there. Mostly Robot Unicorn Attack now, though. I only really played Pokemon when I was bored in class. But schools out now... :P

Same here, my apps are mostly games but I don't ever play them. I use Twitter and AlienBlue (Reddit) mainly, and other apps are for stuff like news or music.

I play Subway Surfers on the off-chance, though.

oh god @ grindr

Anyway - this could go in either Video Games or Technology & Internet, but since it could well be a general discussion on apps, I'll just move it to the latter I reckon. :]

Yeah, it was an iffy area, so I just dropped it in CCP and knew that someone'd move it where it needs to go >>;

I've got the App of the Day and have recently downloaded the new one called "Critter Panic." It's a simple game and apparently other people find it addicting. I dunno. I played it a bit on the bus and it is fun, but nothing mindblowing that (had it not been free today) I'd have spent 1.99$ on. It's like a toy that you buy, play with once or twice and then get tired of :(

Subway Surf
Fun game and makes me wanna have all the perks in the game like the characters, boards and maximize all the boost you can get :)

Zombie Defense
Kill zombies while you get coins from killing zombies and passing the levels. It's fun and addicting, I don't know how much levels they are but I've hit around level 210-ish and it's still going :D

Super MAMC
Weird game, hard to explain the concept but overall, there's huge monsters and you gotta stack condos with different colors together to make a bronze, silver or gold condo. Sometimes you get power ups and you can throw them to the monsters to gain the power-ups according to the monsters that are beside you. Sounds weird but it's fun, give it a try :)

4 Pics 1 Word
Title says it all, lol. You got 4 words and you have to find one word that relates them all together, you have 2 hint options but they cost money which you get by passing one level.

Penguin Run
It's almost the same thing as Temple Run but the background is nicer and you control a penguin instead of a human and you're running from a polar bear that is trying to eat you instead of deformed monkeys or whatever they are.

Zombie Smash
You have hordes of zombies coming to you and you gotta crush them with your fingers, if any of them passes a certain point in the game 3 times, you lose. You also gotta make sure you don't kill the humans anyways it's game over instantly.

Candy Crush Saga
I think everyone knows this game, no? haha. You have to line up candies according to their colors and with each level you gotta do it with some specific challenges in order to pass it.

Eyelord
You have a bunch of eyes twirling around a monster and you got to pop the colors according to the color it's currently showing on the top right, if the eyes reaches to the mouth of the monster, it's game over for you.

I have many Apps...I removed a lot off my iPod to try and improve its speed. Seems to have worked. I used to spend lots of time on Angry Birds. I wasted a bit of money on Seasons just as I started to lose interest, but I was still obsessed when Star Wars came out and I played that.

Mostly though, I just use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pocket. Pocket's this app, comes as an extension for Chrome / Safari / probably Firefox, where you can save articles to read later. I use it so I have something to read during my lunch break at work.
The only game I've really been playing is Simpsons' Tapped Out. It's just so addictive. Just search it on the App Store / Android equivalent, it's fun.

I have mostly social media and other handy apps on my phone (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, mobile banking, Goodreads, etc) but the only actual game I have is Candy Crush Saga. I don't like mobile games much, really.

I mean I have a 3DS, if I'm out and about with nothing to do I'm going to grab my 3DS to play rather than my phone.

The ones I play on a semi-regular basis are UNO, Fruit Ninja and Sudoku. I also have Tetris (which I play if I want something different), Bejeweled 2 (same), and Super Monkey Ball (which I've played once and hated but can't be bothered to delete from my phone). There's also this game called The Room which is more of a traditional game with a plot and everything, but I've completed that so don't really play it any more.

Temple Run and Temple Run 2, Subway Surfers, Flow, Jetpack Joyride, Doodle Jump, Tetris, and My Boy! Free are the games that I often play, especially when I'm waiting for my sister at McDonald's. I tried downloading the famous Candy Crush Saga but I found it boring so I deleted it. As for social media, I have Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Wattpad.
