Well I didn't want to quote the above post but now that you've pointed it out how you wanted your professions to be based on, I have a better take on building them. (cause I just wasn't sure what you were expecting xD)

But I shall add more in those context of benefiting others and such rather than it being for the player alone. The clarity was all that I needed. :D

Edit: Hot ninjas! XD

- Massage Therapist ( be it giving people a relaxing massage or Pokemon, creates some loving atmosphere and improves affection levels between Pokemon and their trainers, maybe even with the other trainer too!; limit once a day per trainer, so you know... to make it not so abuse-able; lol, why not have people do this for some Gs!? up to the person to charge a fee or whatever... )

- TM Specialist (for those trainers who are TM collecting fanatics; allows the usage of your own TMs on other trainer's Pokemon; I was thinking this in conjunction with the Tutor profession; xD One person with Tutor and another with TM Specialist would be pretty interesting!)

- Trader (gains the Trader's Machine, allowing for Pokemon Trading; should there be no Pokemon Center nearby, a Trader can allow for Pokemon trading but up to a limit of 2 before the device needs to be recharged at a Pokemon Center; hm... maybe we could add to it or something.... meh)

(Added a link for a minor character WIP art piece.... dunno if i'll finish it though...)

@CyBeastSaber - Regarding the TM Specialist, I think that profession would seem more like something that an NPC would be rather than a PC. Or, if not, I could see the profession being absorbed into the Tutor profession, but I'd suspect that you could just give someone a TM if you wanted them to teach their pokemon a move that you have (or one could simply use TMs on other pokemon, if we're following 5th generation TM use).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing too but didn't want to give the Tutor even more extra powers... despite it being able to assimilate well into that profession. An extra profession might be a bit overdue though so I'm thinking of scraping the TM specialist. 5th Gen is too OP! xD

I think TMs can be implemented quite well as rewards for quests and stuff like that. I don't really see the use of having another player use them on your pokémon?

Tutors, as I've described them now, don't actually give any benefits to themselves. Maybe that's a shame. They should be allowed to teach "odd" moves to their own pokémon as well, because it sounds a bit strange that a Tutor would need another Tutor to teach moves to their own pokémon anyways. As if an Alchemist couldn't use their own potions or Mechanics couldn't give their created items to their own pokémon :p

Trader actually sounds interesting. Not sure it would be widely used, though. But perhaps it could be implemented in the Mechanic profession? When becoming a Mechanic, you could be able to craft a trading machine and use it on the move. It would make sense, I think ^^ plus, the mechanic profession maybe wouldn't be much used anyways otherwise.

Heh, the final say is still up to you and I agree with your thoughts. Gives the Mechanic more viability compared to some of the other professions. All in all, I'm throwing stuff around to get some ideas going so we can do stuff. I'm still drawing ATM which is why I haven't been adding ideas. xD (This art piece is looking really like a girl.... The only thing I paln to add to my SU (unless anything else is needed) is a picture. I know a great deviant art flash that lets you make trainers, and I tend to use it alot.

I've just been told that I'll be working through January to May on a work placement at a chemical research center so unfortunately I won't have time to take part in this RP any more. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to this one. If it's still running in the future then hopefully there'll be a spot free to apply for ;) I can hope haha. Have fun everyone playing!

Actually, yeah. With AlexOzzyCake retreating and a few people who expressed interest without spots available to reserve, I might as well just let you all post SUs and accept those that are good. 10 spots or 12 spots, what's the difference ^^

So, like... Vato, gunnerpow7 and CyBeastSaber, if you still want to submit SUs, let me know when they are finished and I'll have a look at them just like with the other reserved RPers. *and there was joy and happiness*

Just wanted to update saying that I have finished my SU. I thought it would've taken me at least until Friday morning but it appears the words just came flowing today. I am very happy with it so I am hoping it will be good enough for this.

I decided just to post the RP Sample I had, cross my fingers. I think it will at least reflect somewhat on how I will post if accepted for this RP. :)

SU writing is not going as quick as I thought it would :P So, here's the empty space I'll use to type the SU, but don't worry, I'll make sure to let you know when it is ready and CSSd, since I am planning to do some of it on the SU before I become rusty with it :P

CyBeastSaber is accepted! Mirror move is ok, it's in Torchic's real leveling up moveset, even if it's at a relatively high level. And the RP sample told me enough.

Well my idea with it is, Blaze managed to learn it (somehow) but hasn't gained the best of experience with using the skill yet(since he is still of low lvl) which is why he fails a lot... like doing weird poses and the such (oh so much I can do with Mirror Move). Hehehehe... But he will get better at it... hopefully. X.X (On a note of the RP, ready to start when you guys see fit.)

Aye, thank you for accepting my SU! I hope reading through it wasn't too much of a bother, was a lot of words I'm afraid. Nonetheless, I am extremely excited for this RP and am ready to get to writing. This is going to be loads of fun. :) One question, if I may? Since we are in the Johto region, will the Wild Pokémon be strictly Gen II or will there be other Generations implemented?

Oh gosh, well thank you! I apologize if it came off too fancy or the like. I don't mean to be pretentious, I just like mine with a little personalization. ^^;

Everyone else has such marvelous SUs as well! I am eager to meet up in game with a few of these awesome characters eventually, and even just to read along and see how they play. I like how your SU is coming along, Skymin. Such pretty bold colors, and it's cool how Sophie chose a male avatar. That should be interesting indeed!
