A 53 year old local construction worker was killed yesterday afternoon after being struck by a large steel beam. The accident accord at 3:45 PM and the screams of one of the mans co-worker was herd nearby. He was also trying to call an ambulance for help and was yelling to ask what street they were on. Hawke's Bay Police Sergeant, Steve Murry said emergency services arrived to find the man on the ground floor, unconscious and bleeding after he had been stuck in the head by a 226KG steel beam.

"An on-site worker and ambulance staff tried to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead at the scene."

Well, it's a news story, but it's not really anything we can discuss....like, the dude is dead, which sucks, etc. not really any discussion going on here.
