I won't go into too much detail, as I did that in my blog, but pretty much to sum up what I've done, I'm at the Dream Yard, grinding my two Pokemon to lvl 14 so I can advance to the next area. It's taking a while though. x( I have currently defeated the first gym leader, Cilan and am advancing further very slowly. :)

Finally started White yesterday during work. Hurrah for having free time.

I chose the male player character (since he's my absolute favorite of the two) and named him Keegan. Since this was going to be my main playthrough, I chose a male Oshawott named Andrew as my starter finally and set to work getting to Striaton City to get the C-Gear.

Along the way, I caught a few Pokemon. One of them being a Lillipup, which I nicknamed "Ella" and kept in my party. She's quite a good Pokemon actually. Don't know why I didn't keep one before. But with Ella and Andrew fighting together, battles were slightly more difficult without any type advantage, but more fun. Which means that I defeated the first Gym and after the Dreamyard, got my C-Gear. I could finally trade Pokemon from my Black version to further complete my team.

Today, I started off trading around Pokemon for my team. Now I could continue to Nacrene City and face off against that difficult Gym Leader, Lenora. I didn't want to just capture a Throh and sweep the team with a type advantage, so most of my night was spent leveling my Pokemon. It was well worth it, as once again the team of Andrew the Dewott and Ella the Herdier defeated the second gym. Though things did get a little tense as Lenora's Watchog nearly took out Ella with a Hypnosis/Retaliate combination.

And that's all for me today.

Team:
Ender the Servine - level 20
Valentine the Woobat - level 18
Angel the Sandile - level 19
Ella the Herdier - level 20
Andrew the Dewott - level 18
Aquila the shiny Pidove - level 8

Aquila's just there because I keep thinking of training him, but never do.

In Driftveil City I had a lot of fun. First of all I got an upgrade to my pokedex >.< much needed as searching for pokemon was becoming a bit tedious :| I als managed to find a kind lady who offers me Heart Scales for showing her various pokemon moves! :)

I enjoyed my first triple battle with Charles, I just wish there was more in the game, it adds an extra dimension to battling which I like and would like to see more of in the future.

I moved onto the Cold Storage to chase down Team Plasma and managed to catch myself a Vanillite! But more importantly my Blitzle evolved into a Zebstrika in the process :D The evolution was much overdue as poor Blitzle could barely last one or two moves in a battle.

I also managed to find TM55 Scald in the town which I think is now my fave Water Type move, I immediately taught it to Dewott!

Onto the gym, with Dewott in my team I never expected Clay to be much of a challenge, I backed that up with my Audino who knows Grass Knot and once again, a pretty easy battle came out of it.

I moved on through route 6, catching a Tranquill, a Karrablast and a couple of Deerling on the way, and as I approached the cave another battle with N ensued! Once again he was brushed aside by a combination of Whirlipede, Dewott and Zebstrika!

I have a brief chat with Bianca and Professor Juniper and make my way into the cave.

The cave had it's good and bad points. I love electric pokemon, so was happy when I caught a Joltik and over the moon when I caught a Tynamo :) It appears Klink is the new Zubat of this generation :p

My best catch though was Drilbur, I managed to catch three because I wanted one with a good nature. I met some resistance from Team Plasma from the end of the cave which was quickly brushed aside. And is it just me or are encounters with pokemon in caves a hell of a lot more frequent than they were in previous games? It felt like every 3 steps I had a battle :|

Anyway I step out of the cave and into Mistralton City.....

Late that night, I reached the Relic Castle, having flown over from Icirrus and run all the way from Nimbasa. I found the entrance, cloaked by those strange grey-blue statue-Pokémon, and as I was about to enter, Cheren showed up. I felt like yelling at him that this was my thing to do now, but he told me Alder was already inside, and we should hurry to meet him. I ran ahead and ended up being stopped by a strange old man.

He said he was Ryoku, one of the Seven Sages, and Ghetsis was interested in me because I was the one N had chosen. Team Plasma would be waiting in the floors below and I would have to show Ghetsis just what I could do. I wasted no time, defeating the goon on that floor, but there were no stairs. Then it dawned on me.

I had to sink myself through the quicksand.

Oh hell no.

Shaking, I stood in the center of the vortex and let myself slip through. From the feeling of my legs below, it definitely led through to another chamber, so I shut my eyes tight, covered my nose and mouth with my hands and let myself relax into the sand's tight embrace.

There were more floors like this, and I had to sink through the sand to progress each time. I had sand everywhere; in my hair, in my hat, down my top, in my shorts, in my shoes... even in places I didn't want to talk about. o__O

When I reached the end, I found Alder and Ghetsis stood facing each other. Cheren fell through the sand behind me, coughing and blowing the stuff off his glasses. Ghetsis was arguing away Alder's logic but both stopped when they saw me.

Ghetsis recognised me as the one N had chosen to either oppose his power or to lose Pokémon forever. Alder pointed out that losing friendships would be a terrible thing, for those Pokémon who were happy with their trainers would be immeasurably sad when they were separated - which was my point exactly, FYI. Ghetsis went on to tease Alder about the fact that since his partner Pokémon died, he couldn't take things seriously. How... how dare he?! Picking on someone because of their dead Pokémon - how low could he stoop!?

Ghetsis said Alder would fall to N, and Alder said he'd be the judge of that. He would face N and protect the world from his will. Then Ghetsis laughed and left. What an arrogant--

Alder pointed out that the Dark Stone was here, so the Dragon wasn't either. Disheartened, I left the castle, Alder and Cheren behind me. By this point, the sun had begun to rise in the distance, and I felt tears in my eyes for my lost hope. Of all the moment-killing things, Prof. Idiot (the stupid woman one, not the stupid man one) called me up and started raving about something... something to do with the Dragon! She told me to come to Nacrene City, so myself and Alder flew there straight away.

Outside the museum, both Idiots, Moment-Killing Bianca and Stalkerman Alder were waiting for me. They said something about an old stone in the museum... and I remembered what they meant. A stone older than anything else... found in the Desert Resort... wait...

Lenora came out with the stone and handed it to me. I felt it grow warm in my hands straight away. No... it couldn't be! How could Team Plasma have missed this when they raided the museum before? But this was it. It was undeniably the Dark Stone, the final essence of the legendary Dragon Zekrom, and my key to stopping N before he goes too far.

My hands were shaking so much Lenora had to take the stone back for a second to stop me dropping it. I felt my hands turn cold as it left them. She explained that in the town past Icirrus, Opelucid, there was a trainer named Iris who was an expert in Dragons. If I took the stone to her, perhaps she'd be able to help me raise Zekrom. Lenora handed the Dark Stone back to me and once again, I felt warm... almost... complete.

This feeling... was this telling me something? Could it be that I, like N, was destined to be a hero?

New updates from me! :D

Pretty much, right now I'm at Nimbasa City about to challenge Elesa the Gym leader of the city. I pretty much grinded for like, 2 hours today in Pinwheel Forest with Nickcino and Sydbby, beat Lenora, did Plasma stuff, made it to Castelia City, caught a Darumaka, now known as Moxie Girl, more plasma stuff, battled Burgh who was easy work, went through the desert, caught some more Pokemon for the Pokedex, including Sandile, Siglyph and Maractus, went into Nimbasa city, saw N on the Ferris Wheel, beat N, and that's about it for now. ^_^ I'm about to evolve Sydbby into Sydoredia for Quiver Dance.

Just got the game today, thank you so much staggered release dates.

No Victini yet, I can't connect to WFC from here.

No Zorua, there's been no Celebi event.

Though I did catch a Sawk and named him Daniel-san so I can pretend to be Mr Miyagi when I use him.

Time: 7:22

So, I tried to beat Lenora with my underleveled pokemon, and failed. So we went to travel Pinwheel Forest and train some. I got all my pokemone to level 16-17 and went back for a second try. Beat Lenora with only one pokemon left, my Servine. But Audino was a huge help. I got my second badge, witnessed Team Plasma stealing the Dragon Skull. Met Burgh. Of course I chased after them, beat them all, and got the Dragon Skull back. Met Gorm.

Then I headed to the Skyarrow Bridge, and it was really pretty. Probably my favorite part of the game so far. Stepped into Castelia city, and saved the game. I'm pretty excited about going to explore this city!

Team:
Audino Lvl 18
Servine Lvl 18
Blitzle Lvl 17
Panpour Lvl 16
Woobat Lvl 17
Timburr Lvl 18

I am definitely keeping Servine. Possibly keeping Woobat, Audino and Blitzle on my team. Maybe keeping Timburr. But I don't think I'm keeping Panpour. I might evolve her, and if I still don't like her, she'll be going into the box.

I flew back to Icirrus on Fawke's back and made my way over to the moorland around the edges of the city. They were deep and pretty wet, but Pendant let me sit on his back as he waded through the deeper parts and I managed with the rest. Ahead, the Tubeline Bridge loomed, and as I approached it, I heard a shout from behind and Miss Moodkiller, Bianca, showed up. She spouted some nonsense about finding her purpose but being worried about not being able to make it... I wasn't really listening. Then we battled. I won, obviously, and she accepted it with an air of resignation.

Bianca told me that she believed in me. I had to beat Team Plasma, because she remembered when her Musharna, then a Munna, had been captured by them in Castelia City. If that were to happen, but permanently... it would make her so sad. I agreed with her, for once. She left me with added hope, and I made to cross Tubeline Bridge.

It was freaking long. Seriously. And as I was running, my heart nearly stopped because, for the third time, SUDDENLY NINJAS. They shoved me further up the bridge, to where Ghetsis was waiting for me. He didn't seem to understand why N had picked me to revive Zekrom, but saw that I had the Dark Stone with me, and wondered if N wanted to see which dream the two Dragons, so perfectly balanced, would choose to prevail. I told him outright that my dream and N's were nearly identical; the only difference was that while N wanted to separate Pokémon and humans to find peace, I wanted them to find peace together, in the same world. Ghetsis scoffed at this, admitting that he had raised N to be the Hero, and to be pure of purpose.

So... Ghetsis raised N. Was... was Ghetsis N's father?

Ghetsis then announced that his plan diverted from N's. He wanted the only Pokémon to remain to be the ones belonging to Team Plasma! He wanted the idea of owning Pokémon to be seen as a bad thing, so the world will have to face the peer pressure of the onlookers. Eventually leaders, champions, even regular, caring people like Bianca, would be forced to release their Pokémon.

Then he said something that really stung me. I might have the Dark Stone, but that didn't mean the Dragon would accept me as a Hero.

He left me, along with his Ninjas, alone on the bridge. Hmph. Maybe he was right, but I had courage and passion, and the feeling I had when I held the Stone was so reassuring, I felt he had to be wrong. This was what I truly needed to do. I would free N from Ghetsis' manipulation.

As I left Tubeline Bridge, someone threw a TM at me and snapped me out of my thoughts. What the heck!? Then I spotted a mall.

Huh. Well, I am a girl. SHOPPING TIME!

After a bunch of impulse-purchases, I arrived in Opelucid City, and was greeted by Alder the Stalker. He grabbed me and pulled me over to where a crowd had formed; Ghetsis was already here and causing quite a storm. Ghetsis told everyone about N befriending Reshiram, and how he would create a new world. Everyone should herald the return of the Hero of Unova. He said Pokémon are so different from humans, we have to acknowledge them properly and free them from our oppression. We should release our Pokémon.

I tried to shout something out but Alder hushed me up, since we had snuck into the back of the crowd. Ghetsis couldn't see us to single us out, and he quickly left, but the people of Opelucid in a state of confusion. I talked to a couple of people and they seemed both attracted and repelled to the idea of releasing their friends since, according to Ghetsis, their capture had caused them such suffering.

Alder called me over again, this time accompanied by an old man and a younger girl. I recognised the girl as Iris, who had helped us in Castelia. Alder introduced the older man as Drayden. These were the people to ask about the Dragons. They'd both heard about N bonding with Reshiram and Alder explained that I had been selected by N to raise Zekrom to oppose him. Then Alder left, explaining that he'd have to go hold N off at the Pokémon League. I wished him luck as he left.

Iris escorted me to Drayden's house, where the pair reminded me once more of the legend of the Dragon commanded by two brothers, who split into two and slumbered from then on. Drayden stressed further that the Dragons would be perfectly matched, and in the end, it would be up to the Dragons alone who's dream would come true in the end. Feeling a little more confident, I thanked them and asked about the gym, and Iris explained she would be the one to battle me.

So there it was. The last badge I would have to earn before traversing the League and taking on N.

I approached the gym.

I just managed to catch Cobalion, it took about 20-30 ultra balls and I had to keep reviving my pokemon every few turns so that I could throw some ultra balls at it

I'm not going to post my team's levels as there isn't any change from what they were when I defeated Cheren.

As it was, I felt I was ready to face Iris. How wrong could I have been? Most of my team found their attacks next to useless against the Dragon-type trainers in her gym, and we unanimously agreed that Tardy, my beloved Duosion, would be the ideal, since his Hidden Power was Ice-type.

Since Tardy was holding the Quick Claw that had previously been held by Marik (Marik decided he was fast enough that he had no need for it, and put on the BlackGlasses instead - and has never looked so badass) he managed to get the first hit a lot of the time, cutting away most of the opposition's health easily. However, it was a good thing I had stocked up on Revives beforehand, as many of them had powerful Dark-type moves that crushed Tardigrade's Psychic-type.

By the time we reached Iris, we felt we were ready. Tardy went out first and held his own, only being knocked out once and with Marik covering for him as he healed. Iris didn't stand a chance, and I was jumping for joy when, finally, the last fully-evolved member of my team began to glow startling white and emerged as the squishiest, most adorable Pokémon I have ever seen; Reuniclus. First things first, SQUISHY HUG with his squishably squashy arms. Then, Iris presented me with the Legend Badge, my eighth and final badge!

Professor Idiot♀ was waiting for me outside and announced that she was clueless. Great. Good job, Prof. Turns out she had tried to find out how to revive Zekrom and proven unsuccessful. Seriously, where would Unova be without its intellects leading the way?
/sarcasm

The good lady Idiot pointed me towards route 10, which I'm sure I could have found myself, and then gave me something that very nearly made up for her idiocy.

Very nearly.

It was a freaking Master Ball. What the Mew.

Then she just left, as though she gave out Master Balls every day of the week.

Looks like I'm off to the Pokémon League next. One step closer to my final match with dear N. But... it was getting kind of late, and I'd done a lot today. I checked into the Opelucid Pokémon Center and went to bed.

Currently, I'm trying to train my team in the Desert Resort before beating Elesa. As of late, I've doubled my party's size; since I could finally find Emolga and Gothita, I caught one of each. However, Emolga are a total pain to find on Route 5; I ran into countless Audino and even two or three Cinccino before finally finding one.

So here's my team as it stands:

531_audino_front_norm.png
Bobby (Level 28 - Sassy male)
556_maractus_front_norm.png
Adam (Level 26 - Modest male)
587_emolga_front_norm.png
Eddie (Level 26 - Hasty male)
574_gothita_front_norm.png
Garrett (Level 22 - Modest male)

Wow, not just is my whole party male, but only one can evolve (and that would be Garrett). Well, that'll be fixed soon... :P

You do realise that almost all your Pokemon have the awesome and beneficial nature, right? ^

Anyway, through steady playing my game, I found a Sun Stone in Nimbasa City and got this little cutie.
Spr_5b_549.png

Right here, who helped me beat Elesa, since Moxie Girl (Darumaka) and Nickcino (Minccino) couldn't even put a dent into her Emolga, and this here Sydbby did pretty much everything for that gym battle. :D

Oh, and I also caught a Vanillite for myself.

Yep, I planned it that way. In fact, I had a quite difficult time finding a Modest Gothita and I almost gave up. I'm pretty OCD about getting beneficial natures (and even abilities!) in-game, even during the storyline.

And back on topic, I did level up my crew a bit here and there, but I'm still in the Desert Resort.
