Chapter One:
Rush!

Part Four

Ty faced the Avalanche with... Well, neutral expression. "Uh, thanks." He still thanked her, at least. Though the snow didn't seem to really phase him; the girl on top of it, however, did. Now how did she end up leading the avalanche here? It was questionable, no doubt. On top of that, she was holding the Pokemon they'd come searching for. "Aside from your health, please don't let go of that Pokemon. So... How /did/ you end up like this anyways?"

He shrugged and faced Nemo. "Believe it or not, this /isn't/ what's calling me here." Hono chirped rather happily, and jumped head first into the snow. Ty looked at the area of his landing with confusion. "Hono, what're you--" he paused as heat blazed from the hole in the snow, melting it away to some degree; at least to where he was visible in it. He seemed to be inching closer to the held Snorunt, before sitting down and simply cocking his head to one side.

Olivia Wolf - Icy Plains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A body knelt down next to her and Olivia shook her head to try and clear her vision. It actually seemed to work, and her eyes focused on a female hovering over her, holding something to her lips. She said something Olivia didn't understand but quickly identified as the name of a berry and explained it would help to ward off the cold. Woah! Berries that could cure the cold? This girl must've been some sort of wildlife /genius/! Olivia's initially confused expression turned into something of gratitude and she met Nemo's eyes with a friendly smile before turning her attention to Nemo's hand and allowing herself to gingerly pluck the berry from betwixt Nemo's fingers with her lips, quite literally eating out of her hands. She's totally into that sort of thing.

A crash startled her before she could properly thank Nemo however as the familiar sight of an Abomasnow burst it's way through the mound of snow the avalanche had created in a fury. The snorunt seemed startled as well, but when it tried to flee Olivia wrapped her arms around it in a firm but gentle manner. The abomasnow was not amused by Tyler's request. It was there for Olivia, but it quickly identified the other two humans as possible accomplices. Clouds seemed to follow the pokemon to them, and before the group knew it it was snowing, and the snow was rapidly getting heavier. Hail was soon to come.

Olivia just sort of emitted something of a meek squeak and stayed where she was as if frozen. She was clearly afraid.

Two vanillish rapidly advanced on the two females, surrounding them. Both their mouths opened and prepared to strike the two with an icy wind attack The abomasnow moved in more slowly, keeping it's intentions hidden until the last possible moment. It clearly wanted to give them a hug!

MEANWHILE, a single Vanillish advanced on Tyler. It was floating around him in an aggressive, slightly dodgy manner, as if daring him to intervene. It was his choice if he actually wanted to fight the thing. It didn't seem to be readying an attack, but judging by how it was acting might very well do so at the slightest provocation.

Nemo "Ace" Dannan
Icy Plains
~
The great beast of tree and frost lumbered out of the sudden snowbank with a great cry to celebrate its victory; a monster of three hundred pounds of bulk that towered over all but Berth as its rise was punctuated by the cries of two ice cream cones, shoring up the numbers for its inevitable assaulted on Nemo and the fallen girl whose name she had yet to take. Nemo's limber legs hopped over Olivia, a gesture sent to Berth causing the arm-thrust Pokemon to rush to her side on stomping feet, its own girth just wider and taller than the roaring Abomasnow before them.

Cool air rushed into Nemo's nostrils as she took her stance upon the uneven ice that would serve as their battlefield; clearing her mind from the obstruction of panic or worry, for she'd need all her senses to defeat the fearsome Abomasnow that challenged her in the hunting of a Snorunt, and now the protection of a companion. The creature's eyes met hers, fueled by emotion stirred by some forgotten disturbance, and cried loudly to the heavens with its intention of attack. Ice hurtled out of the ground surrounding the battlefield, coalescing into clear and wicked shards of ice around its palms.

The fight would not end so quickly, and Nemo would make sure of that. With fingers faster than that of a normal trainer, her hands flipped to the Pokeballs on her belt and released the companions that would serve as backup in the fight of three on one; the aces in her slave, if she could keep them protected for long enough. The time for battling was now, and Nemo's voice yelled orders at her Pokemon not from rage, but from need to drain out their foes. "Berth; Tank and RT!" Her words came out quickly, the training in Hariyama's mind at the forefront of his movement, as he stepped before Nemo, his hands splayed to block the incoming shards of ice. "Ezra; SCM and sweep. Cass; SP defend."

Though it was gibberish to most, Nemo and her Pokemon knew each other well. Kirlia hopped at the chance to obey, moving to stand before a snowbank in a series of elegant movements that made the frills on her body dance in the cool breeze. She was followed swiftly by Cassie, whose ivory fur blended with their surroundings, but whose crimson eyes stood out like fire. The Absol's movements were low and swift, as she sunk to an intimidating position just before Ezra, with a cry that announced her intention to destroy their foes. In that short time, the Abomasnow had launched its first attack.

Three shards of ice, formed in the shape of stalactites, collided with Berth's presented hands in a flurry of shattered shards that made a fine mist out of the air before them. The bulky Pokemon grunted, but made no other show of its discomfort, as Nemo began her part of the battle. She sprinted towards their gathered opponents of numbers three, before sinking low to the ground at the foot of a particularly large pile of snow and kicking her leg out in a spinning movement that sent a cascade of ice in the eyes of the gathered ice Pokemon. They were unphased by any soreness, but a glance behind her allowed Nemo to see the soft shimmer of Ezra's form.

Veils of snow shifted from before the Abomasnow's eyes, but its time to rejoice in light of new vision was short. Berth had begun his charge at first hint of the distraction, and barreled towards the downy-furred Pokemon with its massive palm swung far behind it. Only a grunt of startled news escaped the yeti's lips, before Berth's fist came upon its torso like a freight train and sent it stumbling backwards against the mountain wall. The attack had hit hard enough, certainly, but not nearly as much as Nemo had hoped.

Before Nemo could strike out again, the Vanillish that followed their Abomasnow into the battle unleashed their gathered attacks; one of them hurtled towards Ezra and Cassie in a burst of chilled wind, while the first set its sights on the human that dared to attack its hardened carapace. Its lower half wobbled in the air, swirling briefly in all the time it needed to prepare an attack, before flipping over its own weight and unleashing a shot of chilled wind in the trainer's direction that would be impossible to dodge quickly enough. The blast collided with each inch of her exposed skin more thoroughly than the avalanche, unleashing a biting pain all over Nemo's body, but she gritted her teeth through it with her arms crossed before her.

The Vanillish that attempted to assault Cassie with a similar attack had somewhat less luck, as its bulk hurtled towards the red-eyed Pokemon in preparation to unleash its attack, only for its momentum to come to a sudden stop. Cassie leaped up from her dangerously low position, gliding through the air in the few short feet between them and sending the wild Pokemon hurtling through the air with the force of her sucker punch. A pained cry was all that emerged from the Vanillish, as it regained its stability and unleashed the chilled wind with somewhat less enthusiasm, in a burst that made Cassie's limbs twitch in the frost.

Their bulky foe was the next to make another move, thoroughly enraged by the denial of its attack before and the following attack that caused it to stumble backwards. With another roar that shook the eardrums of those surrounding it, great fists swung out at Berth's massive torso. A crackle covered its balled-up knuckles just before contact, surrounding its fist in a casing of ice that would surely damage the Hariyama more than a mere punch would; and, with its berserker fury fueling the attack, it did. Berth was the next to lose its footing, as he struggled not to fall over from the force of the Abomasnow's swing and scarcely managed not to slip.

A flash of worry shot over Nemo's eyes, with the disquiet from her tank, but she had her next opponent lined up already; too much time would be lost if she attempted to attack the Abomasnow now, so she resolved to finish her own attack. There was a crunch as she dug her heels into the thick layer of snow, followed by several smaller pads as she sprinted across the battlefield, and a final cry of exertion as the young woman leaped through the air and came into contact with the all-too-surprised Vanillish that floated at half her size. Unable to stop the momentum of the attack, both of them careened into the mountainface with the Vanillish first, where its form crashed with a resounding clink.

There was a cry of outrage from its injuries, and Vaniliish unleashed a rage that befitted its ally more than the Pokemon most would underestimate. Its body shook violently as a screech of utter anger escaped its mouth, sending Nemo flying off of its form to tumble into a snowdrift where she barely landed in a crouching position. It did give the trainer a view of how her other two Pokemon were doing, however, as the Vannilish saw its folly in attacking the Absol and instead spun round to attack where Ezra stood directly. As before, its bottom swiveled in the air, a gust of wind surrounded it, and it shot at Kirlia's meditating form to send her...nowhere.

The substitute disappeared from the brunt of Vanillish's icy wind, revealing the true place where Ezra stood; atop an outcropping of rock and snow just above them, where her low mumble of chanting came to an end, and her eyes glowed with iridescent indigo. There was no time for the wild Pokemon to feel fear, however, as Cassie had not been preparing to counter an attack this time. The tip of each strand of ivory fur across the Absol's body turned softly blue, as she hurtled through the air once again and brought her horn across their opponent's body. The sound of breaking glass echoed across the battlefield, as the defeated Vanillish fell to the ground.

Abomasnow's head tilted in confusion at the lack of response from its opponent, whose eyes had closed since its last icy punch, but, in its rage, reared its fist back to lay another punch on its slightly healed opponent. Its moved was stalled by the feeling of immense pain at its ankle, as the wild Pokemon was briefly weakened to its knees and Nemo stood behind it with an outstretched foot, from where she'd put all of her strength behind a kick to slow the wild Pokemon down, and buy her companions enough time to take it down.

Atop her outcropping, Ezra gazed down over her opponents, as psychic energies tingled around her fingertips and ran through her body like blood; she would be able to do anything in this battle, with the time taken to charge her abilities, and there was one in particular that would feel her power for all it was worth. The Vanillish that attempted to attack her mistress, who, even now, screeched loudly in indignance at the attack that befell it. It would all by over soon, and she would make sure of it.

A flash of blue covered the battlefield, followed only by the foreboding sound of gathered energy most often heard on a jetway, but that now came from the swirling hands of a Kirlia, as her gaze settled on an unaware Vanillish. Dark energies formed around her hands, coalescing into a black and blue ball of destruction that would help them win the battle, and defeat the barely injured ice Pokemon in one fell swoop. The focused orb launched across the battlefield and collided with the Vanillish before it was even aware of the danger, sending it careening into the distance, thoroughly defeated.

Back in the Abomasnow's reach, Berth left a few mutterings beneath his slumbered breath, as training took over for his sleeping mind and he brought his palm once-again to bear on their dangerous opponent. The infallible palm smacked against the Abomasnow's torso and sent it stumbling backwards once again, with a loud grunt of pain instead of mere annoyance this time, as it reared its fist back to assault the offending Pokemon, who sought to damage it even in its sleep.

This was no time for its victory, as Cassie came bounding across the clearing and tackled the wild Pokemon in a blur of white and blue that sent both of them skidding across the ground. The Absol practically surfed on the Abomasnow's body, as they slid across the battlefield only to stop in a particularly deep snowdrift, from which she hopped with ease and in which the raging Abomasnow laid defeated through a combination of teamwork and a smart choice of training for each of Nemo's Pokemon.

The teen herself ran an arm across her brow, the effort with which she'd fought having taken something of a toll on even her well-trained body.

Cecil was standing at edge of the boat looking at the academy in the distance. He was full of exitement as he thought of all the sights he'll see in the next ten to fifteen minuts. The boat was going to dock in Oak Town near the academy where he wil then head to his dorm to drop off his belongings. Cecil wondered what the people there on the little island were like, and how many friends and enemies he will make. He tried to shake it off for the time being and focus on the important matters.

Haunter on the other hand, wasn't so sure about the academy. The ghost pokemon began to deeply imagine the pros and cons of his trainers time at the island. he thought that yes he will be happy to be away from home for a change, but he'll have to learn to build up the courage to ask people for directions, or just to say a simple greeting. It was this moment that Haunter feared most because there are plenty of things that could go wrong because of Cecil.

The boat had finally docked in Oak town and the both Cecil and Haunter thanked the man for the lift and began to stroll along into Oak Town

Alice Crenshaw
Entei Dorm

Alice found what was going on between Roxas and his Pokémon funny and cute and giggled. After it was over, Roxas proceeded to feed her, as she had requested. He looked at Roxas shyly and ate the soup on the spoon.

"Mmm!~ This is gooood!" she said after swallowing, "You-you're a great cook!"

After those words she looked away from him. That was it, she couldn't hide it much longer. She liked him, and he had to know. But how? She wasn't confident enough to give him a kiss, and besides, she thought a kiss would be too soon and forward. Instead she looked at him with puppy eyes, and grabbed the boy's free hand.

"Another one? P-Please?" she said, with a cute smile on her face.

Jimmy Vincent
Academy Grounds

Zangoose's claws tore the Shadow Ball in two, and hit Biff hard. He looked like he hadn't taken any damage at all, and chuckled at the injured maroon Houndour. Jimmy commanded his hell hound to use Fire Spin, and Biff spat out some flames that in no time turned into a vortex that surrounded Zangoose. The latter endured the pain and used Hone Claws, while the vortex took more of its energy.

"Biff, now strike with Ember!" Jimmy commanded.

After a bark, Biff spat out more flames, but this time they just hit the foe. It didn't seem to make a big difference, however. Zangoose used Hone Claws one more time, and Biff began to get impatient because of that. Then, all of a sudden, the vortex disappeared, and Zangoose charged at Biff with a Crush Claw. It hit Biff critically, and the hound was struggling to stay standing. But he wasn't gonna go down. His pride was in his way. He glared at his foe, then a light blinded both Jimmy and his opponent, Bryce.

Lucia Francisco Bernavard

Damascus heard Mark's words and simply grunted as he flew down a bit closer to the ground. From what Lucia could see there didn't seem to be any signs of this friend around. There weren't any colors sticking out among the rocks... no broken body that lied on the ground, so that was good. Maybe they were just in the wrong spot? Well, Damascus was taking his time looking about as well, so maybe when they got on a different side of the mountain they would see her? Lucia frowned as she tried to pull down her messed up hair, "Mark, can you call out to her? Maybe shout and see if she responds?" She asked. "Or... actually you do have her number right? Just call her up and tell her that you are looking for her. I mean, you've got to have her number if you two are very close right? That could save us a whole lot of time looking."

Lucia shivered a bit in the cold. She knew she should have taken a jacket today! Well, next time she would leave a note to herself just in case something like this ever happened again. One never knew what would happen in a day after all!

Chapter One:
Rush!

Part Five

As Nemo got into her battle-- Oh, Arceus almighty. Do /not/ anger her. Ty wondered if she was just excessively violent, or if it was simply the nature of people from her region. It didn't matter, anyways. It looked like a Vanillish was headed his way, probably ignorant to the battle, or, you know... Picking out the weaklings first-- Hey, wait! "Alright, Hono. I know you're not the battling type, but you can do this. You have the advantage! Plus, all of our training has to amount to something, right?" Hono turned to face the ice cream cone with this look of determination that, well, if he weren't so small it might actually be terrifying, but he was pretty puny, so... "Hono, your leer is nice and all, but you should be worried about your fire attack, not tackle. Alright, Create a smokescreen!"

Hono erupted the flames in its back and caused a dark gray fog to surround their battle. Ty pulled the headband down and used it to cover his mouth and nose, squinting to watch the fight as he came closer into the smoke. "If you can focus, you'll see his shadow in the fog, aim your embers at it!" Hono did as instructed, and simmered the icicle with a pretty straightforward attack. That had to do some decent damage. A flurry of icicles shot out from the shadow and pelts just about everywhere in the fog, surely hitting Hono, as it even hit Ty and forced him to cringe and back up slightly. Ice shouldn't do that much damage, but icicles are sharp! Hono already looked injured and wary, and Ty took the effort to go and pick him up, and just in time, as an ice beam hit the previous location.

Ty reached forward holding Cyndaquil, sneakily coming up behind the Vanillish. With Hono point blank behind it, he released another ember, and this one put it down for good. He coughed slightly and waved what was left of the smokescreen away, readjusting his headband back up to his forehead. He dug into his bag and sprayed a potion over his partner, who seemingly regained energy after coming into contact with it. "Alright, you did it Hono--" His distration came as he looked over to Nemo's battlefield... "Yyyyyou did good." He let Hono regain his shoulder position, seemingly prideful now, puffing out his chest and spewing flames from his back. Ty walked over to Nemo and the other girl. "Either you come from a rough place, or you came out of some mature action movie. So..." He turned to the other girl. "Who /are/ you?"

I sighed and looked around. Oshawott quickly jumped onto my head and pointed towards a trainer with a Haunter. Lulu looked at me and stood next to my legs. Sparky stood on my hand and Sparks flew from his cheeks.

"Hey Oshawott your new name is going to be Waldo. Do you wanna go and see who that trainer is?" I asked Waldo the Oshawott nodded signifying that it liked it's new name. He smiled slightly and jumped off of my head and walked towards the mysterious trainer. I quickly followed and smiled slightly hoping to make a friend.

"Hey there. You new here?" I asked the make and looked at him while awaiting a response. Sparky slowly fell asleep on my shoulder.

Mana Murasaki
The Espeon girl
at the mountains.

Mana and Kilik were being asked if they had water. It was obvious that Kilita was the cause of Valorie's injuries. Kilik gave him fresh wTer, that's when Mana took out her bottle too, and something else…

"I-i have this too…" Mana took out a white roll of bandage and trew it over to him. Mana got extremely shy again, knowing what she was supposed to do, but Drake was older, so he probably knew how to treat wounds better than her and Kilik. Mana thought this wouldn't been the right moment to introduce herself to the girl, so she wouldn't

Sorry! I really don't know what more to write!

Roxas Jaden Asakura
- Alice's room

Roxas smiled when Alice complimented the soup he hsd made. "I'm glad you like it." he said with a gentle voice. Alice looked away from him which made him wonder why she was doing that. After awhile she looked back at him and asked for another spoon of his self-made tomato soup. Alice grabbed his free hand. Roxas was startled, did this mean she liked him,

Roxas came a lil forward, about to kiss her, but remembered he was a team rocket grunt and at least 2 years older than her. He leaned back, blowed on the soup on ghe spoon and brought it to her mouth. Even though he knew he wasn't allowed to like her, he still squized her hand a little.

If Alice found out about his secret she would hate him for sure. Not only Alice, he loyal partner Jello too.

Cecil became awe-stricken at the buildings, the food, and the happy townsfolk before his eyes. He had never been to a town before. He always stayed home whenever his parents had to leave, so he never got the chance to see all the amazing things these places held.

"C'mon Haunter lets go eat over there," said Cecil as he pointed to a fast-food restaurant. Haunter agreed and they headed in the building to order some burgers."Which kind do I want'"thought Cecil,"There's only the chicken sandwich, and the regular cheese burger." He stood there thinking until he got to the front of the waiting line. He stood there and began to hold up the line.He forgot he was in line the whole time. People kept shouting at him in anger until finally the lady behind the counter shouted,"May I take your order?!"

Haunter had to tug on Cecil's clothing grab his attention. "What Haunter," asked Cecil, he stood there looking around. He paused realizing the problem."U-u-uh, c-can I just get o-one, no two...uh...yeah two cheese burgers?" The lady took the order and walked away mumbling to herself as she took the order.

Cecil and Haunter sat down when they got their burgers and dug in to their delicious, warm cheese burgers.

They finished eating every bit of the burgers, and they sat there satisfied with the burgers resting in their stomaches. "So Haunter, what do ya think about this place so far?" "Haunt, haunt!" replied the demonic entity. Cecil then decided to leave the building and head toward the dorms.

Drake

Drake meeped as he was hugged by the big dragonite. He grimaced a bit, the dragon's hugs were powerful. When he was let go, he walked back over to Valorie, taking the watter from Killik and the bandage from Mana.

"Thanks guys. Val, here." he said, offering her the water. He... couldn't see any blood. But she needed to drink some water regardless. He then smirked at how stubborn she was. She didn't want help? That spoke volumes, but she really did need to relax a bit. That's when he listened to Killik. She... had flown out because she lost a battle? Wow...

"Really..." he said after a moment. He chuckled and gestured at Dragonite, who was a short distance away from them.

"Alright, then climb up on Dragonite and let's go. Otherwise I'm taking you to a hospital. I'm no doctor, but I can see you're hurt. My abilities lie in pokemon, not humans. But something isn't right, and being stubborn won't fool any of us, and we won't think any less of you because you need help." he said, his tone good natured and friendly, though it had a very slight edge of exasperation. He then took the bottle from Mana and thought a bit.

"Killita, use Ice Beam and freeze this bottle." he said, tossing it up so his hand wasn't frozen. Killita lifted her head and fired the beam, freezing the bottle. It dropped down and Drake caught it. He wrapped it in the bandage and offered it to Valorie next.

"Here, put this where it hurts." he said with a soft smile.

Cecil:talking to Rafael

Cecil turned to see a trainers face before him. He started to speak, but he noticed an Oshawott in front of the trainer."Um...hey...yeah...sorta...I-I just arrived a-and,"there was a long pause,"My name is C-Cecil, and i'm from t-the Jhoto region...and t-this is Haunter," Haunter's mouth formed a disturbing grin that made most people uncomfortable,"S-so who're you?"

Olivia Wolf - Icy Plains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Olivia watched the battles progress, namely the one that involved a huge abomasnow. Sorry, Ty. With a bit more training you too can impress the ladies in the schoolyard, but for now she was enamored watching Nemo do such insane things as attack pokemon herself and have her pokemon ride abomasnows like it was a sport of some sort. Watching this, Olivia couldn't help but compare Nemo to a superhero! Like... Riolu Girl or something! At some point during the battle Olivia slowly got to her feet and considered helping but... frankly thought twice about it. She had this feeling she'd wind up getting in the way more than anything. She tried to imagine herself kicking an abomasnow and promptly proceeded to imagine herself frozen in nevermeltice.

After the battle, when the group had regrouped, Olivia took the opportunity to throw her arms around Nemo in an overly affectionate hug. "My hero!~" she said in a tone of gratitude that could only be described as 'Haven't I heard this somewhere before?'. ...The flirting begins. Olivia didn't seem to have any physical boundries, judging by the affection level of that hug, Over 9000 or perhaps she just wasn't shy around other girls. Either way she loosened her grip after a moment but did not actually let go. Nemo would be able to free herself if she tried.

"You were all over that thing!!" she exclaimed in a rather excited tone, clearly impressed by what Nemo had done. "And—...Thank you." she finished in a more humble, grateful tone. At this point she sheepishly let go and cupped her hands in front of her, an exhausted snorunt in the cradle of her arms that had probably just been squeezed between the two for a moment. Luckily it hadn't attacked. "My name's Olivia, and... I think you saved my life." she explained, a note of affection in her voice. "Do you think it might have been destiny?" she went on to ask, implying that fate had brought them together. She wasn't the most subtle of flirters. One could only wonder what Ty was thinking watching this—Perhaps something along the lines of 'I was there too!', or perhaps he had taken notice of the flirting. Either way, Olivia seemed to be enamored with Nemo for the time being.

Valorie Ryder - Mountains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drake should've been grateful that Dragonite hadn't started copying Killita frequently yet. Regardless, Valorie took the water and began to open it, only for Kilik to ask her a question that came off completely condescending. Did he really just ask that? She scowled at Kilik, her mood only becoming less favorable as Drake unintentionally made fun of her. She shifted one leg back over Killita and proceeded to slide off, landing on her feet and promptly collapsing onto one knee. She quickly stood back up however and took the iced bottle of water. She hesitated a moment before applying it to an area of her stomach with a slight wince.

She then turned her attention back to Kilik, confrontational look on her face. "What, do you want to fight about it??" she demanded in an irritated tone, implying she was ready and willing to battle right there and now. There was no way she would stand there and let someone mock her honor like that! ...Even if it was true. Dragonite moved forward and leaned over, reaching down and pushing Valorie's legs out from under her so that she fell into Dragonite's arms. She winced slightly at the small jolt but got comfortable there, sitting in Dragonite's arms as the large dragon type got back up.

Aaand Drake was left to play babysitter. Valorie was clearly interested in defending herself, but in reality she probably should've been taking it easy.

Nemo "Ace" Dannan - Icy Plains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The recuperation after Nemo's victory was brief, after she took the time to steady her own breath and return all her Pokemon to their Pokeballs; they would all need time to rest and lick their wounds, and gave each of them a berry as a reward for their aid in the battle. There were a few bruises across her skin that would take some time to form, but nothing that she hadn't suffered through before. The teen turned to face the approaching steps of Ty and Olivia, only to hear the boy's question and resist the urge to smirk. He really was soft for an older boy.

"You've never heard of Orre?" Nemo asked in response to the rough place question, because anybody who did would know that it was one of the roughest regions out there. Barely and wild Pokemon, while gang culture ran rampant and, pound-for-pound, had the highest mortality rate. Any elaboration was cut off when the girl she'd fed a berry to wrapped her arms around Nemo's toned torso with a declaration of hero worship she hadn't heard since disbanding The Pyrita Claw, with a Snorunt trapped between them. The thought behind the hug made Nemo smile, since nobody else on the island had fed her ego yet.

Hugs themselves weren't something Nemo was particularly used to, because recognition from Orre was more often in the form of a complicated handshake or thumps on the shoulder, but affection wasn't completely absent from her life, as she gave a one-armed hug in response to Olivia's. The words were definitely something she could get used to, however, as Olivia introduced herself and buried Nemo in praise befitting of somebody with her dedication. Then she brought up the question of destiny...

"Well," Nemo said with a smirk on her lips. "I prefer to call it skill, but I'm fine with being destined for greatness too. And you can call me Ace. " She added, looking back at the groomer who seemed a little more shaken than usual. He'd probably been in a battle too, she realized, while she was wrapped up in her own battlefield. Then back to Olivia, she couldn't help but notice the entirely impractical attire for wandering the icy plains. "That's an...interesting skirt."

Chapter One:
Rush!

Part Six

There was... A noise. A slight noise. Every so faint, but... Was it really there? Ty seemed distracted for a moment, but he turned his attention back to his 'party'. "Hono, rest for a bit." He returned the Cyndaquil into the shiny Cherish Ball, shrinking and putting it away for the time being. "Not to interrupt this horribly cliched post-battle movie scene, but, I can hear something... I think it might be the reason for my being here I was talking about... Do you hear it...?"

"....."

Sure enough, in the silence, there was just the slightest sound emmiting from off in the sidelines, something buried in the snow... It sounded like... A cry?

Ty immediately knelt down near the sound, shoveling snow away behind him, ignoring the cold sting and purple fingers that came from it. "Oh no..." He dug further and pulled something - no, two things - from out under the snow. "Oh ****," the older teen swore, not currently worried about offending anyone at the moment; they'd likely see why in a moment. Lifting two things from the snow, one in each arm, his voice seemed to turn into a panicked, rushed tone. "Guys, I'll be back, this is really important." He swore again, this time under his breath, before turning and running straight for the direction of the academy. In one arm, a chilled and severely injured Eevee, unconscious, and in the other, an egg, questionable on life seeing as heat was lacking in this situation. With these things he quickly left, and the two could follow if they desired, but he didn't wait to see; in fact, his fast-paced running speed left them in the dust, unless they decided to run after.

Fixed Float!

Mark nodded and looked around again. They weren't too high in the air now... which was good. Mark didn't hesitate as much when looking over the mountains. No sign of her yet. Maybe it was about time to call out to her. Last thing he needed was for her to go off on her own again but how else was he going to find her? Using his phone was just asking for no response. He began to call out.

"VAL!!! VAL WHERE ARE YOU?! VAL!!!" Mark called out as loud as he could. She had to hear that if she were in the mountains... Mark began to think for a bit though... this was the girl he admired... someone who ran from a battle like that? Was that really how Valorie was like? No... her parents were watching... it made sense that it was embarrassing... that's what Mark wanted to believe anyways...

Hei

"Why exactly are we in the Icy Plains?" asked Cynthia as they hiked through the cold. Cynthia was used to the cold and, therefore, wasn't cold, although she was kind of worried about Hei as she only had a t-shirt on. Hei seemed fine though.

"This is probably where kids would have the most problem, right?" asked Hei with a grin. "After all, it is colder here than in the rest of the island and most people probably live in warmer climates."

"So, you're here to teach students?" Cynthia was incredulous. "What happened to annoying teachers?"

"What, you want me to annoy teachers?" Hei rolled her eyes. "I'm just trying to help some kiddies out."

"You want to torture them," Cynthia stated blandly. "Don't tell me otherwise."

Hei only grinned in reply as a guy ran past the two. Hei managed to see the Eevee, but the kid was too fast.

"What was that?" asked Cynthia, sounding worried.

"He had an injured Eevee," stated Hei with a sigh. "See, this is why I need to teach these kiddies."

"An injured Eevee? We should go and help," stated Cynthia with a frown.

Hei shrugged. "Eh. He's probably going to the Pokemon Center anyway. There were two other people in his group; we should go and see if they want a lesson."

Cynthia stared at Hei. "It would be inappropriate."

"Then go check up on that guy with the Eevee; I'll go and teach the kiddies," Hei stated, as she walked closer.

Cynthia sighed but nodded. "Fine, I'll go check on the student with the Eevee, but you better not do something I wouldn't do."

As Cynthia walked away, Hei called after her, "Sure, take the fun out of everything!"

Hei walked up to the students. "Mandatory survival lesson, kiddies. Get in gear!"

Olivia Wolf - Icy Plains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Olivia received the one armed hug with pleasure, only to have to mentally double take when Nemo responded to her praise. Destined for... greatness? "Right..!" she replied in an only slightly awkward tone. Yeah... right. Destined for greatness. Totally what she had in mind! Sarcasm aside, she took the opportunity to do—You guessed it, flirting. "I'll call you whatever you want, Ace~" she quipped. The tone was arguably supportive, but the flirty, or perhaps friendly teasing undertones were very audible.

She was startled out of her thoughts when Ty yanked up the semi-frozen body of an eevee and what she assumed was it's egg however. Wow... uh... 6th sense much? Olivia watched Tyler go for a moment, a concerned look on her expression. She quickly returned her attention to Nemo, though. For a moment she didn't say anything. She hoped that pokemon was okay, but Tyler seemed to have that covered as well as it could be covered. "...It's pretty cold out here, but do you like it?~" she asked, proceeding to turn and show off her figure to Nemo as if modeling for her. She turned to her sides and then finally turned her back to Nemo, bending about ten degrees forward and swaying her hips slightly as if to demonstrate the effect of the wind on said skirt.

Only, let's be honest here. She wasn't even just fishing for a compliment. She was fishing for a reaction. She wanted to see how Nemo felt about this, though the unrealistically romantic part of her brain imagined being scooped up on the spot and carried off. She could fantasize, couldn't she? Candlelit dinner? Cuddle time? An extremely confused snorunt? Someone yelling at her to get in gear for a mandatory survival lesson?

...Wait /WHAT/?! Olivia abruptly stood up straight and turned to face Hei, meekly smiling at her. She declined to explain what she had just been doing. Rather, regardless of Nemo's reaction she'd speak up after a moment. "H-Hi..?" she said, the question of what Hei was doing implied in her tone. She was understandably a bit confused.

I saw the Haunter grin and smiled at it. I then heard the boy who had introduced himself as Cecil ask for my name. Judging by the way he was stuttering he was either extremely shy or cold. Waldo looked at Haunter and made a weird face at it. Lulu saw and had been waiting for Waldo to do something stupid like that and slapped him in the back of the head with Force Palm.

"Nice to meet you Cecil. I'm Rafael and these are my partners, Sparks the Pikachu, Lulu the Riolu and Waldo the Oshawott" I said and extended my hand hoping for him to shake it. Sparks had woken up when she heard her name and saw Lulu and Waldo fighting. She jumped off of my head and pulled Lulu away from Waldo before she hurt him.

Nemo "Ace" Dannan - Icy Plains
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nemo was slightly distracted from Olivia's flirty comment about names, though her chosen title was something along the lines of Supreme Empress of Everything, by Tyler's sudden departure to claw a clump of brown and cream fur out of the snow, as though he hadn't heard it at all during the battle. An offer of Aspear berries would have come, but something blocked her throat before she could; the memory of herself bawling only a few short years ago, and the image she saw of herself in the mirror earlier that day. Perhaps it was for the best that she remained with the person that would praise her, instead of a memento for old memories.

Her mood was lifted slightly by the sight of Olivia parading about in her skirt, with abandon befitting only the mos joyous of people. The kind of feeling that Nemo imagined would run through her with great victory, even more so than the one she'd just beaten out of the motley crew of Pokemon. Though there was some concern still about the girl's potential frostbite, her Aspear berry would still have some effect, and the way she waggled her hips reminded her of that one woman that visited the gang's den on the weekend and left with a far heavier purse...

"Perhaps some tights would go well with it." Nemo suggested with a smile, as she needed something to relax the adrenaline in her veins, but thoughts of simple relaxation were shot from her grip, as another person sought to join their trio-turned-duo. She stopped smirking and faced Hei with arms folded over her chest, while Olivia seemed to stumble over her actions slightly. "...kiddies?" She asked skeptically, making sure to flex the toned muscles of her biceps to let the newcomer reconsider her words.
