I've gotten absolutely nowhere so far. Defeated Brock and the gaggle of trainers on route 3 but that's all. Ivysaur is now at level 24. I can solo Misty at this point! A while to go before I get my next pokemon. :<

This challenge is certainly fun. I never used Bulbasaur before but I am really enjoying it. As usual, Nidoran is a pleasure to use. I remember why my last Nidoqueen held up so long. Easy to train, hard to kill.

Traded Nick immediately upon arrival to Fallarbor Town so that he could become a lovely Alakazam. We have some friendship to rekindle as a result. After rigorously training Derek, he finally learned Signal Beam and doesn't suck anymore! However I noticed he needs tons more exp to level up than my other party members, so leveling him up is still a hassle in that it just requires more points. After we ran off Team Magma from Mt. Chimney, we showed Flannery who's boss, braved a desert, and beat Daddy-o. After getting Surf, we went back north to get out pink party member, Beyonce. Can you tell what I was watching when this happened? lol Gave her a Macho Brace to EV her in Special Attack and catch her up with the party, and evolved her. After that, I'll head back to Petalburg to do the sea route!

UPDATE #2~**~**~

-Spent an HOUR going up and down in Jubilife City to get Lorenza to enough happiness to evolve before Level 19 so she could learn Magical Leaf
-Did a little training in Eterna Forest but headed straight to the Eterna Gym to get the badge so Tyrant would listen to me
-Tyrant kept dying because he wouldn't listen and it's tough to beat a Grass-type gym with a Grass-type Pokemon but I did it!
-Quickly maneuvered my way through Galactic's hideout so I could get a bike and head to Hearthome to get my Gift the Eevee. Got really lucky again and got the nature I wanted on the first try
-Grinded him a little to catch up to the other two and then again did some happiness grinding (this time on the Bicycle Road) to evolve into an Umbreon before bed! Time to go kick Fantina's ass so I can get my hands on Lickitung and Ralts!

Update #3

Started the morning by firing up this game and going to the Radio Tower to fix up a card for the PokeGear
After that I went to take on the gym.
and it was a pain...
but a few double Kicks and lucky poisonings later Whitney gave up the badge
And we went to get a watering can
(So we can terrorize all of Johto - if you get this reference, well props to you...)

But before all of that I went to play around in Pokethlon.
Personally, I like it a lot more than Contests, Musicals or those Movie things. Because I'm actually doing something.
And as today is a Monday for me already... I played it a lot.
And finally had saved up enough points for 2 Moonstones. (I know I can get those elsewhere, but it's Thursday soon and I have 2-day exams D8 )
-
So finally we strolled through National Park and went to wake up this weird tree...
And after a dozen of Balls later - Markus the Sudowoodo was caught.
Arrived to Ecruteak City and met Bill
Backtracked all the way back to Goldenrod to get Mania the Eevee.

Much plot happened here and I scourged all the routes available, before going to challenge Morty.
That Sucker Punch wasn't nice, but I'll let it be. At least I didn't have to redo the fight.
MOM! Stop buying me berries!
Went to save the Kimono Girl from the Team Rocket Ruffian - HM03

Anyway. Met Baoba and went to Olivine City.
Climbed the lighthouse to the top.
So many phone numbers.
"Ran" around for awhile to train Markov some more...

And finally arrived to Cianwood City.
Proceeded to smash a ton of a rocks for Heartscales later on.
Challenged Eusine.
...well this was awkward... as per usual
Went to challenge Chuck and...
Eventually after a second try I got the useless Fly...
Almost forgot the SecretPotion lol
Surfed all the way back to heal Amphy.

Figured that I might as well try my luck with Jasmine.
..."whoops"! I Surfed my way to victory.
So I swam back to Cianwood
Tentacool go away...
And went to see the Safari Zone. Or well... I just went there and healed up, before turning back.

Several encounters later...
Finally back at Ecruteak.
And onwards to Mahogany town!

So... Lake of Rage.
I went to surf around there for Secret Power and Hidden Power.
After a few hours of actually resting (being sick is not fun) I figured I might as well go knock out the Red Gyarados.
Met Lance.
(and proceeded to remember how hilarious it was when I first started SS jap version, where Proton is Lance and my character name was Lance... and then I met... this Lance aka. Wataru...)
Aaaaanyway...

We smoked out Team Rocket and their Rattata world domination.
Then it was time for Pryce.
Thank god he had part Water types... *flailing*

Back tracking again like a boss. On foot.

So after an hour or two of running around, collecting items and beating Grunts and Executives
I was finally free to walk again back to Mahogany Town.
I should end it here I think...

Nope, I went to the Ice Path and to Blackthorn City, because I wanted to fix up some moves.
But yeah, next update is probably on Wednesday when I can finally get a Water Stone...
I don't feel like cheating the DS time... it's already messed up by 16 hours.

♥ Talked to Elm, Reached Cherrygrove City, Went upto Mr. Pokemon's House etc.
♥ After obtaining five Pokéballs I headed on out to Route 29 where I caught Pidgey as my second team member!
♥ Decided to hack in Horsea since it would be a while before I can use Surf
♥ Cleared out the Sprout Tower thanks to Pidgey with Gust, what a cake walk!
♥ Did some training in preparation for Falkner so that the Levels were equal
♥ Took on Falkner and won single-handedly all thanks to Horsea!
♥ Obtained the Zephyr Badge & TM 31. My real journey begins here!

-Dewott evolved in Chargestone Cave
-Munna evolved in Chargestone Cave(I waited for Psychic at level 37)
-Beat Skyla with a little trouble with Samurott at level 38
-Beat Brycen with a lot of trouble with Samurott at level 42
-Caught Pawniard(Tybor) on Route 9
-Beat Iris easily with Samurott at level 48
-I trained some more, Tybor evolved, and saved on Route 10.
I still haven't caught Rufflet, I'll do it next time I play.

Hey Sydian, does our Flower Pokemon need 2 Grass attacking moves, or can one be a status move?

I started on Sapphire!

Update #1 on Sapphire.

Name: Jd
Starter: Torchic

Got Torchic and named him Chocolate cuz that's the gift on Valentine's Day.
Caught 4 Zigzagoons for a Pickup army.
Caught a male Wurmple named Attractor in Petalburg Forest; soon he evolved into Silicoon and then Beautifly.
Grinded a bit around Rustboro City, then challenged the gym.
Narrowly defeated Roxanne thanks to Chocolate burning Nosepass and Attractor having Absorb.
Went to Dewford, delivered the letter, and Chocolate evolved into Combusken!
Took on the gym, and Attractor wiped the floor against Brawly with Gust.
Cut through Slateport after beating the Aqua Grunts and defeated May on the way to Mauville.
After a long time looking (and beat lots of Roselia for exp), I caught my Flower Pokemon, Rafflesia the Oddish, on Route 117.
Trained him up on trainers I skipped earlier, and he evolved into Gloom!
Took on Wattson with Chocolate, who needed a Soda Pop (Voltorb Selfdestructed...) but beat him easily with Double Kick.
Saved on Route 111.

Update #4 - Second to last update because what is my life. Since I went through this so fast I might go all the way and beat Red. Anywho!

- Defeated the Secret Rocket Base.
- Faced Pryce. Beat his Seel and Dewgong with Bessie and Ty Lee easily took out his Piloswine.
- Goldenrod Events with Team Rocket
- Went through the Ice Caves and ended up in Blackthorn City.
- Faced Clair. Don't remember the details (idek why) but I do remember Bessie taking out her first Dragonair.
- Wandered Johto a bit. Forgot to pick up a Ice Punch TM for Bessie (so she'll be stuck with Thunder Punch or given Shadow Ball) but beat Suicune for EXP and a few trainers.
- Also caught a Poliwag along the way as a Love Slave so I can get my Badge and make my way to the Pokemon League.
- Which I did.
- While grinding a little bit.
- Also I beat my Rival (who is named Silver).
- Now either I am going to grind a little more (haha that's funny), go back to Johto to do some things, or just face the Elite Four as is.

Finally started the challenge, and I have to say, I was surprised how easy Roxanne was only Aristocat, and I was surprised at how difficult Brawly was using the same strategy. Speaking of which, the whole Sing → Attract → Tail Whip → Doubleslap combo worked nicely, though I have found out that Sing nearly never hits.

Also, it would appear I was never added to the list when I applied. That is all.

♥ Before leaving Violet City, I went to the Mart to pick up the Mystery Egg from the assistant
♥ Took on a lot of trainers on the way to Azealea Town and eventually got through Union Cave!
♥ Went straight into Azealea Forest so that I could catch Oddish before battling my Rival
♥ After training Oddish, I headed to the Slowpoke Well and sorted out the Rocket business!
♥ Making sure that everyone was on level, I entered the Gym and battled the trainers
♥ After some last minute training and healing up I took on Bugsy and won with help from a little of everyone!
♥ Obtained the Hive badge & TM 49, next up is Whitney...

♥ As I was leaving Azealea Town I enountered my Rival whom I battled and narrowly won!
♥ Escorted the Farfetch'd back to the HM guy which is much less informative than HGSS.
♥ Obtained Cut & Headbutt and went on my way through the Forest
♥ Got the Odd Egg from the Daycare Couple which I'm hoping hatches into Smoochum!
♥ So the Odd Egg hatched which turned out to be a Shiny Pichu, I couldn't reset so I kept it in the Daycare. I guess I'll have to catch Jynx at Ice Cave!
♥ After training all my team to Level 20, I headed to the Gym to battle some more trainers... yay!
♥ It took two fails but after that, I defeated Whitney and got the Plain Badge along with TM45!
♥ I taught Attract to Pidgeotto since it is my Attract Pokemon for this Challenge and headed onwards to Ecruteak City
♥ After accidently knocking out Sudowoodo, I reached Ecruteak City where I entered the Burnt Tower and encountered my Rival... yet again.
♥ So I met Eusine in the Tower after having my first encounter with the Legendary Dogs, I then took to the Dance Hall to train battling the Kimono Sisters
♥ Defeated the Kimono Girls and got HM03 Surf, which will be very useful for Horsea!
♥ Entered onto Route 38 in search of Miltank, after hoardes of encounters I finally found her!
♥ After training up Miltank to an appropriet level, I took on Morty who was far easier than Whitney thanks to Pidgeotto & Miltank! Obtained the Fog Badge & TM 30.
