He did it for a long time, iirc. Fairly often through Kanto, little bit less through Johto, less through AG, not sure about Sinnoh... he's only done it like once in Unova I think.

Episodes where Meowth joins with Ash?

Excluding Meowth's Scrafty Tactics and the episodes that follow in Black and White, what are some previous episodes where Meowth joins/pretends to join Ash? I'm asking because I faintly recall an episode from my childhood where Meowth is with Ash and the gang for an episode?

Well, I don't think he did, but he has joined up with Pikachu when they were lost. That doesn't nessesarily count since he had to join up with Pikachu, but I don't remember Meowth pretending to join Ash. Perhaps it was just that once. Or maybe in Kanto. It could have been in Kanto, but I don't exactly remember. Meowth pretends to quit Team Rocket a lot. Once per series, really.

I don't have the name of the episode, but in the Sinnoh saga, Meowth joins Ash and friends since Team Rocket were caught by Team Galactic, and since Looker was caught too, Ash, Dawn and Brock proceed to escort Meowth to the Fuego Ironworks.

Does Iris try to catch Meowth in Scrafty Tactics? Because I've seen that twice on TV now, Meowth goes with the "twerps" to rescue Jesse and James who are being held by Team Plasma (or Galactic), and finds out Ash and the gang "ain't so bad". That's one of the few episodes I've seen recently, and it fits your question.

That's not how it worked at all. Meowth pretended to be injured in that episode so that he'd join Ash and friends as a gambit to steal their Pokémon. This lasted until Crisis from the Underground Up.

Meowth joined Ash n Co. in Unova when team rocket planned to steal Pokemon in Nimbasa City. From Meowth's Scrafty Tactics to Crises from the Underground Up !!! , Meowth remained with the Gang

Guys, this isn't a thread to talk about the Unova arc that has Meowth joining up with the kids. This is a thread to talk about OTHER episodes where Meowth may have joined up with them. I'm also actually going to put this in Simple Help, since leaving it out here seems to promote off-topic discussion rather than actually answering the question.

What episode is this from?

tinyurl(.)com/kykozpk

I want to get a still of Pikachu and Oshawott dancing. I've got one, but it's low quality, snapped from this gif. I'd like to find the original episode this is from, to get a high-res image.

Can anyone help me?

Sorry, you can delete this. Just realised it's from the game trailer. Thanks anyway!

pikachu's volt tackle

ok so did pikachu forget volt tackle in unova? outside of right when they got to unova battling trip, ash never commands pikachu to use volt tackle anymore. i know pikachu learns electroball so maybe he forgets volt tackle in the process? seeing as it is the most powerful move pikachu can learn i dont like that he doesn't use it now.

thats dumb because theres plenty of examples of pokemon in the anime that have more that 4 moves. stefan's zebstrika for example knows 6 moves. volt tackle is way cooler.

The anime's started imposing a 4-move limit for some reason so yeah, Pika did forget. I dislike this, but you know. And I don't think Zebstrika knew more than four at a time- you can't add moves over multiple appearances.

Merging with simple help.

"There is no significant meaning behind Ho-Oh. It is mainly a plot device to show that Ash is special. Some believe it is used to symbolize the start of a new adventure; seen when Ash started his journey, and again when he left to Hoenn with Pikachu alone." [x]

"Ash first saw Ho-Oh in Pokémon - I Choose You!. It appeared on his way to Viridian City during his first day as a Trainer. He was lying on the ground with his injured Pikachu and saw it fly over the rainbow that appeared in the sky after a storm. His Pokédex could not identify it and explained that many Pokémon were still unknown. In Pokémon Emergency!, he tried to explain to Professor Oak what he had seen, though the image he used to point it out appeared to be of an Articuno rather than Ho-Oh. Either way, Professor Oak didn't believe him and brushed it off as Ash being mistaken. This gold colored version of Ho-Oh was an early concept of Ho-Oh as a Pokémon, like all other Generation II Pokémon at that time had not been fully developed yet." [x]

Basically they just thought it'd be a cool thing.

I also liked Volt Tackle as well. But seeing the fact that they started implementing a 4 moves per pokemon, Volt Tackle disappeared. But Electro Ball is a decent move and Pikachu helped Ash win many battles with it... You know what happened with it in Unova's Survival Crises episode....

I liked Volt Tackle but it was getting old really fast, i'm glad Pikachu gotten rid of that boring move, now he has a brand new cooler powerful attack move Electro Ball.

stephan's zebstrika has been talked about having flame charge and thunderbolt in Curtain Up, Unova League! and used double-edge, giga impact, and facade at least in the same episode

yeah but the only reason that happened is because pikachu absorbed thunderus's energy prior to that elecroball

Guys I have a question regarding watching the Pokemon Anime now, I know it airs on CN but it doesn't air in the CN that's on my TV, I guess that's because I have the African CN (exclusive to Africa) :( so does any other TV channels air it? Or if there's any other place where I can watch it legally?
