I don't think his plans call for rping as professor elm, since he'd have to repeat himself about 7 times to explain ingame the goals of the trainers and hand them a pokemon...unless you two made a plan for him to do so.

After New Bark Town, and Route 29 there's Cherrygrove City. To the north of that are routes 30, and 31. Route 31 has Dark Cave connected to it, and then there's Violet city to the west of 31.

There's not too much that goes on in Cherrygrove city, and the surrounding routes. I imagine myself spending some time there, talking to locals, and meeting new Pokemon. Violet city is some weeks away, especially at the pace the RP is going now.

You're welcome to have Scott meet Mari at some point, if you're willing for it to happen outside of Violet City. Perhaps Scott doesn't anticipate having to be all stealthy around someone with hearing much greater than that of the average human being, and it backfires on him. :P

Ah, feline versus canine, that age-old adage... Perhaps this can blossom into a much more interesting rivalry.

It also means I'll have to scratch guard all the furniture.


BTW, how likely is your character to get fleas during the course of the journey? Someone may have to stock up of flea collars at some point in the game.

I think they make repel for that. :15:

I'd give it a 50/50. Whenever showers are available, she's meticulously clean, and she's had run-ins with fleas before. :P She knows what to keep clear of to avoid them.

EDIT: I'll toss a coin. Depending on the result, the Repel is ineffective. :P

This could prove to be quite interesting >:) In the next town, (CHERYRYGROVE CITY) i think I'll have Scott go to a café and they could talk for a bit before having a small competetive competition between them? And then arises the dawn of a new rivalry, and this could also cause Scott to hold back at times.

It's worth a shot. Just wait until Mari has had a bit more experience with her new Pokemon first.

and that will probablies be Scott's first battle, AND a suprise tyo you all, for the pokemon i have is still a mystery to you all. Mwahaha

In other news; I'm working on the next Seren post. Seren will most likely be more frequent than Archer, at least for the foreseeable future.

Congratulations to you, and your family Bleacher. Welcome back! I've been working on my next post as well. Hopefully if I can get all the details I want right I'll have a new/extended post up tonight. If not then it'll probably be up sometime tomorrow afternoon.

By the way, out of curiosity I'm wondering why everyone chose to join this RP? Personally I haven't RP'ed in a while, and I wanted to brush up my writing skills, and jump back into the world of Pokemon. What brings everyone else here?

Before I had to leave PokeCommunity due to family issues, I was in another journey RP. Posting had slowed and it died soon after I left. When I got back, the first thing I wanted to do was join another journey RP, but the one I wanted to join (it was fairly new and I didn't want to join one that was already far along) was already full. Eventually I joined other RPs and got too distracted to look at any of the new journey RPs being made, but when posting slowed in the RPs I was in, I noticed Bleacher mention this one in the discussion thread. After offering a very small suggestion, I realized this would be the perfect chance to enter another journey RP.


TL;DR: Activity was slow and I was bored so I joined.

Myself I love creating characters, and fleshing them out. I enjoy writing too as I find it relaxing which is a wonderful thing for me. My life can be pretty hectic what with working non-stop monday-thurs.[65+ hours.]

I should have a post up soon too, I've been avoiding writing the last two days as I've been pretty drunk / hangover / drunk again. Writing drunk is never a good idea. I once wrote an entire 8k word essay for geography whilst drunk. When i reread it in the morning I realized that I had actually written 15k words, none of which were about the intended topic. Most of it was random musings including why I enjoy toast and what I would be if I were an animal. Part of it was [terrible] poetry about my hometown.
I have motivation to write now, because once I'm done I can go and get drunk again. Student life eh?

I joined the RP because women love RPer's....or is it musicians? I always get the two mixed up.

But I really joined because it had the best plot and structure compared to the other Journey RP's.

With Seren so close to squad 4 of team Neo, theres bound to be some friction between them! By the way, my charry is heading to violet city, so if Seren were also to head to Violet city later on in the rp, (irl about 3-4 days away) that would definately kick up some action between Scott and Seren. Would that be okay with you Somniac?
