A sprite without a background would be much better. But even then it wouldn't take away from the simplicity and overuse of avatar sprites already being used here on PC. 1outta10.

It looks like a sketch that was scanned. However the Legend of Zelda-esque (At least, I think it's Legend of Zelda) is nice. 6outta10. For lack of color.
