Introduction

Long ago, in a world of monsters and heroes, one boy, clad in a green hat and tunic, used a legendary sword and a magical ocarina to destroy the evil that was plaguing that world and all its inhabitants. That boy's adventures gave him recognition, not only as a hero, but as a legend as well. Aided by a mysterious princess, that boy would save the world a second time, this time from an evil entity known as Majora. From then on, every time an evil force threatened that world's safety, a boy in a green hat and tunic would save the people. For ages, peace would exist amongst the inhabitants of that magical world.

This is not that world.

Plot

In a parralel universe to the one described above, the land of Hyrule was darkened by the Gerudo Ganondorf. A young boy named Link attempted to defeat Ganondorf using the Master Sword and the Ocarina of Time. However, after a final, epic battle, Ganondorf triumphed over Link, killing the young boy and destroying the magical ocarina. Finally, Ganondorf laid greedy eyes on the powerful Master Sword that the boy wielded. Wishing to have that power for himself, that King of Thieves corrupted the sword, turning its blue hilt a blood red, and darkening its shining silver blade til it was blacker than night.

Using his now immense powers, Ganondorf named himself Grand Emporer of Hyrule, and inslaved all that country's denizens. For generations, Ganondorf opressed the people of Hyrule, slowly destroying the very land he so badly wished to rule. As was to be expected, there was one small resistance force, consisting of all the members of the dwindling Sheikah race. Though this valiant group of ninjas tried their hardest, Ganondorf easily defeated them, leaving none alive.

Now, it came to pass that the damage on Hyrule was so great, it affected the Twilight realm that existed withing Hyrule. The inhabitants of this Twilight realm, a peculiar race known as the Twili, grew tired of watching the people of Hyrule suffer, so Midna, their leader, assembled an army of Twili to destroy Ganondorf. Wielding the mighty Twilight Sword, Midna fought Ganondorf one on one in the Dark Lord's castle in Hyrule, while the Twili army destroys the monsters that serve as Ganondorf's servants. Eventually, Midna manages to defeat Ganondorf, although she is unable to kill him. So she threw the Dark Lord into the fiery pits of Death Mountain, convinced that not even one as powerful as Ganondorf could survive it.

After these events, the Twili, succesful in their campaign of defeating Ganondorf's servants, find the heir to Princess Zelda: a young thief living in Hyrule Castle town named Tetra. After placing young Tetra on the throne, the Twili depart, content that the land of Hyrule has been delivered from the dark plague that hung over their heads for so long. Where they went has ever been a mystery, but most assume that they returned to their beloved Twilight realm.

Five hundred years passed. The peace still held fast in Hyrule; however, major changes had occured. Not long after Ganondorf's defeat, the Sky Spirit Valoo came to Hyrule, who for some reason decided to reside at Lake Hylia for a time. This caused all the fish-like Zora who touched the spirit to grow wings and a beak. These bird-like peoples, now called Rito, desired to leave Lake Hylia, and with Valoo, went to live on Death Mountain with the Gorons. Similar changes where taking place in the Kokiri forests, where an unknown entity was transforming some of the child-like Kokiri into a strange race known as Koroks. The Koroks remained in Kokiri forest with the Kokiri, and they are friendly with one another as they search for the being that transformed them.

However, an ominous feeling is spreading throughout Hyrule. The clouds grow dark, and the wind is still. Fearing that the feeling is being caused by the return of Ganondorf, the current princess Zelda has summoned to Hyrule Castle the greatest warriors of each of the seven races in Hyrule, hoping that together, they may stop the rising evil before it becomes a serious threat.

You

You are one of the seven warriors summoned by Princess Zelda. There can only be one player per race.

The Races

Hylians - Hylians are an elf-like race who first established an ordered civilization in Hyrule. Physically, Hylians resemble humans, and the only difference appearance-wise between them are the Hylains' long, elf-like ears that supposedly enable them to hear special messages. Hylians are frequently referred to as humans, indicating that they are considered a sub-race of humans. They live in mainly Hyrule Castle Town.

Kokiri - They are a cautious, child-like and secretive race native to Kokiri Forest. The Kokiri believe that they will die if they leave Kokiri Forest, and therefore, they never leave the safe haven and know nothing about the outside world. Some of them have become Koroks.

Gorons - Gorons are a humanoid, rock-eating race that dwell in the mountains. Despite their hulking appearance, Gorons are a relatively peaceful species. They are usually considered, perhaps superficially, to be of low intelligence. They live on Death Mountain.

Zora - Zoras are aquatic, blue-skinned humanoid creatures. They are incredibly skilled natural swimmers. The appearance of Zoras can vary greatly; some are large and round, while others are slender and small. Many Zoras have become Rito. The Zoras live in the Zora's Domain.

Rito - The Rito, also known as the Bird-people, are a race of bird-like humanoids. No Rito is born with wings, and instead, must visit the tribes' guardian, the great Sky Spirit, Valoo, to receive one of his scales which enables them to grow wings. It is a coming of age ceremony of the Rito, to journey to the great Valoo to receive their scale. Children without wings are called Fledglings. They were once Zoras, and live on Death Mountain.

Koroks - Koroks have small bodies that are about the size of a young human child. These bodies appear to be made of wood, and their faces are marked by what are either leaf-like structures or masks of varying colors, shapes, and sizes. Due to their light frame, they can easily fly with the assistance of a special sprout on the tops of their heads that is used like a helicopter's dorsal propeller, though they are only capable of flying for a short period of time. They were once Kokiri, and live with the Kokiri in Kokirir Forest.

Gerudo - They are a reclusive tribe of thieves that consists entirely of women; however, every hundred years, a man who is destined to be their king is born. They have dark tanned skin, golden eyes and red hair. Their culture is extremely different from that of the Hylian race, and it is likely that their societies developed very independently of each other. Those born into Gerudo society typically have little respect for the Hylian people, and the only men they ever truly revere are the males born into their tribe every hundred years. They live in Gerudo's Valley.

Other Tribes include the Twili and the Sheikah.

(Careful, it's a really big image)

Hyrule Field - Hyrule Field is a large, open field situated in the middle of Hyrule. Most other regions of Hyrule can be accessed from Hyrule Field.

Hyrule Castle Town - It is an urban settlement, located within the same fortress as Hyrule Castle, which serves as the economical and cultural center of Hyrule.

Death Mountain - A huge mountain or mountain range that is the highest geographical point of Hyrule, Death Mountain has become a well known location within the series, and serves as the homeland of the proud Goron race.

Lake Hylia - It is the largest body of water in Hyrule, usually fed by a river that has its source in the mountains.

Zora's Domain - Zora's Domain is located in eastern Hyrule, behind the Sleepless Waterfall, the source of Zora's River. The Zora who dwell here are a secluded race, only allowing those who know "Zelda's Lullaby" — generally only taught to members of the Royal Family of Hyrule — to pass through the waterfall and into their Domain. However, Zora's Domain can also be entered through an underwater tunnel in Lake Hylia.

Gerudo's Valley - This valley is located to the west of Hyrule Field and is divided by a large chasm, at the bottom of which lies Zora's River, whose waters flow to Lake Hylia. To the west of the valley lies the Gerudo Fortress.

Lost Woods - This mysterious, forested region of Hyrule is typically a maze-like forest that requires one to navigate one's way through it by a variety of means. It is believed that the many different areas by this name are not one and the same. However, it is possible that they are somehow interconnected.

Rules:

  • NO GODMODDING. Bunnying is okay, but only if you have the player's permission.
  • NO ONE LINERS. I cannot tell you how much I HATE short posts. I realize this is an action RP, and during fights it's hard to post more than a few lines, but try to get at least four sentences down every time, please.
  • Respect the other RPers.
  • Check all grammar and spelling before posting, please.
  • Have fun. Please.
  • I like to hear if you have any problems with this RP, or ideas to make this RP better. If you have any, feel free to PM/VM me.
  • Oh yeah. BE ACTIVE. The number one thing that kills RPs is one person going inactive when they are important to the plot. Post once a week, please. If you go a week without posting, I will send you a warning; two weeks, and you'll be kicked from the RP. ToT

IN PROGRESS! XD
Name: Elia Cassier
Age: 16
Race: Rito

Appearance: Elia is an adult by Rito standards but she happily bears a youthful figure. She is tiny, more like a fairy than an angel, about 4'3" and the weight of air. Her hair is long and white, like her wings. The middle part of her hair is tied in a loose ponytail with a blue ribbon. . Elsie's skin is a light color, like sand. She cares little for her appearance yet somehow almost always looks tidy, except for the few times her wavy hair sticks up. Her eyes are large and red, sometimes covered by her long bangs. Her beak is smaller than most and a dull yellow.

Elia's nails are neatly filed and glazed over. She doesn't pay any attention to them other than that. Her clothes are a long sleeved white dress, swirls embroidering the edges. She carries a small fannypack with her lyre and a quiver on her back. Because it gets cold, and all story characters can get cold, Elsie has black leggings on under the dress. She also wears grey boots because flying is really uncomfortable for the feet after a while.

Personality: Elia's a nice girl. She helps without asking, plays with animals, and enjoys her work on helping humans. She gets angry in the oddest ways such as pouting and glaring at people while tapping her foot. Yes she acts ten and thinks most men are silly in the head. Poor lass. It is hard to make her angry though, mostly because she's played too many adventure games and adventurers always lose when they give in to anger. Elia is incredibly oblivious to the world around her. She knows there's something going on but it doesn't click that she's involved in the bigger picture. It's similar to her original personality only much less carefree and a lot more oblivious, as children are.

Elia loves to tell stories and can make up the most fascinating worlds, exciting most of her audience. She is a very enthusiastic and apt storyteller. The only thing she loves more is music. She mostly sings psalms and music from prayerbooks but she'll sing anything if she hears it. Chances are she'll be found under a tree, daydreaming or playing. Her innocence is also incredibly worrying. Rito believe that if she is exposed too much to the reality of violence and death, it will trigger her memories coming back and she won't be able to complete daily tasks. So she is consistently told that the world is a game. Elia literally believes that she's a player in a game in daily life. Now the game isn't always fun but.. She has a very limited view of reality because of that and her sister can't help but wonder what will happen when she does remember.

History: Elia is the second and last child in her family, a wonderful accident that no one is quite sure what to do with. She was not an overly rambunctious fledgeling but following her sister around, who was rambunctious, well that just spelled disaster didn't it? Luckily they didn't have their wings or it could have ended awfully. Their parents tried to keep them in line but her father was a reknown mail carrier and their mother never had the strongest of wings. So she kept them away from Valoo's roost as best as she could. Unfortunately ten-year-olds are too curious for their own good. Her sister, now thirteen, had gotten her scale and wings. So Elia wanted to see her fly. They went out to the edges of Death Mountain, close to where the Gorons lived. For a while, everything seemed fine, her sister was practically above the clouds!

Naturally, it didn't last long. That area of the mountain was known for rock slides due to fast winds. Elia didn't notice it, having pulled out a book. But her sister did and she tried to warn her, slightly too late. Elia attempted to escape, only to get caught in a crevice while the rocks rolled past. Her sister made them go looking for her and found her unconscious. When she awoke, Elia had no memory of the event, only of that morning when they went out to play a game. It did leave her with a terrible fear of falling from the sky while flying and claustrophobia. Her mother sent her to be an attendant for Valoo not long afterward, and she's been apprenticing for the past four years, having gotten her scale only recently. The Rito have been in training to fight since young, the air being a dangerous place to fly at times. She is most certainly not the best of the group, but she's the best that's available at the moment. Knives are a dangerous thing.

Password: Triumph Forks

Other: Elia plays a lyre when she's not reading.

RP Sample:

Elia was sitting on the roof when her mother came outside that morning. The roof was comfy and she could see Daddy up in the sky when she did. HEr mother shook her head, noticing the loose way her fingers curled around the lyre on her lap. "Elia? It's time to go." Her mother's brown-speckled wings shook underneath the sleeves of her shirt as her daughter yawned innocently, rising to her feet and climbing down. THe girl leapt to land next to her, beaming. The woman's face, lined with anxiety, lightened. "This is your first big quest Elia. Do your best all right?" It was a game for Elia, an adventure that always ended with her safe in her mother's arms. If that wasn't how it was... the woman didn't know what would happen. She wasn't sure she wanted to find out.

"Okay Mom! Don't worry I'll make you guys proud!" Her daughter tapped her fannypack where the letter rested. Zelda was a princess and the princess needed her! Elia knew better than to let her down. She turned toward the edge of the mountain side where they live. It wasn't hard for Rito to simply take off but Elia felt safer running it first. Freefall was scary. She took off, hurrying as fast as her little legs could take her. Don't look down, she reminded herself, staring straight at the clouds as she jumped, spreading her wings and soaring in a few circles around the house. Ascending toward the clouds, Elia laughed happily, trying to avoid losing anything. She banked to the left and took off, diving away from the thin air and trying to say hi to the Gorons she passed by. "Hello!"

Reaching the lowest point of the MOuntain, she glimpsed Hyrule Castle! "WOW!" Elia gasped happily. "Just like in the books! Ah- Woah!" A Deku seed went flying toward her head and she hurried on, really not wanting to get hit. She was gonna be in a game, she was gonna be in a big adventure! She was gonna be a story hero! Wahoo! Elia couldn't wait!

Letting out a wild whoop, she took off again, eager to soar to the top of the towers.

Ok, this post is going to have my SU in it, and I'll notify you when I'm done. :D This RP is going to be fun.

Name: Mika

Age: She appears about twelve, but she is definately older than that. Her real age is unknown, as she has forgotten it.

Race: Kokiri

Appearance: What does your character look like?
One paragraph min, no pictures, please.

Mika stands at about three feet tall. She's a bit shorter than many of the Kokiri, and is a lot skinnier than most. Her lithe frame holds lean, well toned muscles. She has light green hair that she keeps cut at her shoulder. Her hair is straight, and very thick as it hangs. Her eyes are a bright green, and seem to glow in the forest light. Her face is usually lit up with a mischievious grin. Her clothing is a drab green dress that is very loose around her legs, allowing her to move freely. Her dress has no sleeves, leaving her pale arms exposed. She wears a dark brown belt around her waist, which has her ocarina and her slingshot on it, as well as her pellet pouch. She wears a Kokiri Sword on her left hip. On her left arm is a small wooden shield she made herself. Her feet are covered by soft leather boots.

Personality: What is your character like? One
paragraph min, be specific!

Mika is a very happy person. She is almost always smiling, and having fun. Most everything is a big game for her, and she always wins. She is a prankster, often finding a place to hide and firing her Slingshot at people or stealing small valuables. She is very bold, fearlessly venturing into the Lost Woods by herself to train and practice her music. She is the best warrior in the Kokiri, and often regards herself as a protector of sorts, driving people away when they enter and don't belong, usually without even showing her face. She is often willful, and prone to get angry if things don't go her way. The only thing that calms her down most of the time is playing her ocarina. She's adventurous, and wants to explore as far as she can. She also loves to fight, though it's more of a game than a battle. She hardly ever takes anything seriously, but she has a genuine desire to help out... Most of the time.

History: What has happened in your character's
life before Princess Zelda's summonings? Two paragraphs, min.

Mika lived in Kokiri Forest her whole life. She is actually one of the younger Kokiri, and wasn't even alive when Link fought Ganon ages ago. She wandered the forest, her life a peaceful one. She used her trusty slingshot to keep the woodland creatures from attacking her. So she explored the forest, learning as many of it's secrets as she could. One day, she met a Skull Kid. She and the Skull Kid became friends, and would often play together, pulling odd pranks on the others. Mika eventually found, and stole, an old sword. This marked the start of her role as a guardian of the forest.

Mika trained hard everyday, thinking it was just another game to her. She could often be found training skills. She'd usually fight some of the monsters, neglecting her friend Skull Kid, who got jealous of this. He tricked her into an old part of he forest that was rather dangerous as a prank, and she ended up in a fight against a Stalfos. She fought hard as her Fairy companion, Sprite, went in search of help. Sprite found a shield for her, and brought it back, and she used it to help her drive off the Stalfos that was attacking her and Skull Kid. From that moment on, Skull Kid was ok with her practicing her swordsmanship.

A few years later, someone entered her forest. This person did not belong, and she didn't want him there. So she and Skull Kid drove him out, shooting pellets and seeds at him and getting him lost in the forest again until he finally got fed up with it. He threw a letter onto a stomp and took off. Naturally curious, Mika went over and looked at it. She saw that it was from the Princess asking for warriors. Knowing that she was the strongest Kokiri, she set off without a word to anyone.

Password: Got to love them Triumph Forks

Other: Anything else you want us to know about
your character? Optional.

As all Kokiri do, Mika has a fairy companion named Sprite. Sprite is a bit of a worrier, and disaproves of Mika's impish nature, but he is always there wanting to protect her and guide her with his useful information. Too bad he can't fight and Mika rarely listens to him.

RP Sample: Make this what happens to your
character on their trip to Hyrule Castle? At least a good, thick paragraph.

Mika stood still. One more step. That's all it would take. One more step. She shuddered. She wondered if she really would die from this. She hoped not.

"Come on Mika! You can do it!" Sprite said as he floated in front of her. Easy for him to say. He wasn't the one that was going to die if he left the forest... Which he had already. He was hovering in frnt of her, not too far from her. The seconds lengthened to minutes and she was still standing there. And where was Skull Kid? He had promised to be here too. She soon discovered where he was when she was roughly shoved to the dirt. She was on her feet instantly, drawing her sword and pointing it at him.

"Oy! Don't shove me like that!" Mika snarled as she stood next to Sprite, who was oddly silent, while Skull Kid laughed at her.

"Mika..." Sprite said. Mika looked at her Fairy companion. Then it hit her. She was out of the forest. She grinned widely and began laughing with Skull Kid, prancing in and out of the border. When she pranced in next to Skull Kid, he pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'll miss you!" he said as he placed an Ocarino in her hands. She looked don at the unadorned instrument and nodded. Skull Kid loved his ocarina. Sure, he had been teaching her how to play, as well as making her one, but this was his! She looked at him questioningly and he grinned.

"That one is yours! That's what took me so long! I was finishing it for you! Come back and play with me again! I'll be waiting for you!" he called out. Mika nodded and hugged him tightly. After a moment, they realised each other and Mika took a few steps back.

"I'll be back soon! Give the letter to the Great Deku Tree!" Mika said, handing Skull Kid the letter they had... Found, as well as a note of her own. Skull Kid nodded and disappeared into the trees. Mika nodded to herself and set off through the plains. She reached Castle Town by nightfall, and looked around in wonder. She had never seen so many people before. It was amasing! All kinds of odd looking people were about. She made her way to the castle, trying not to make Sprite nag at her. She didn't want to be late... That would make Sprite become annoying.

Name: Merrick Malifique

Age: 19

Race: Zora

Appearance:

-Physical Appearance-

Merrick Malifique's scales are mainly bright blue in color, but mixed in with some deep green here and there, especially around the tips of his fins, his forehead and his hands and wrists up to his elbows. His gills are located on his hips, three of them in total. He is quite slender, making him a champion at swimming and underwater acrobatics, which he just loves. This, however, makes Merrick's dorsal fin extending from his head quite short, shorter than most. He likes it that way though, says if it's too long it would just interfere with the acrobatics. While others like their dorsal fins long, as it is a sign of experience, Merrick prefers his short.
As with most Zora, Merrick is beautifully adorned with dots, although blue instead of white, across his dorsal fin and his forehead. A straight line leading from the tip of his dorsal fin down to his forehead, and onto his nose, where it ends. Three similar lines of dots all take off from this point, ending on his left cheek and his right cheek.

-Clothing-

Merrick does not wear much clothing. Considering he is a guard at the palace of the Zoras, all he is required to wear is a helmet that covers his entire dorsal fin area and his head, in case of attacks from above. (The guards only guard against under-sea intruders. In case of a land-based attack, these helmets can prevent shrapnel from entering the tender skin of the Zora) It is also notable that he carries his spear wherever he goes. His spear is the classic model for the palace guard, although it may look completely made from coral, it is very sturdy. Able to pierce even the skin of a Goron, they say. Although this is hardly true, it give the spear good use and reputation, as well as the guards who wield it.

@ Nideous: Looks good so far! I'm excited to see your SU when it's done!

@Wymsical: Wow, really good appearance! I'm expecting good things when you finish your SU! No pressure, though. XD

@Yagerbomb: Very well, you are reserved!

@Genevieve: You are also reserved!

@ Everyone: Just as a note, and I apologize that I didn't mention this sooner, but at some point in the RP, each player character will recieve a special instrument. Also, maybe a weapon, I'm not quite sure yet. But it's OK for now for your character to have an instrument before the special one. Just know that you might have two instruments.

EDIT: Sign Up complete.

Name: Siegfried Wagnar
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Hylian

Appearance:
Siegfried carries himself a certain level of regal upbringing. Considered handsome by his peers, Siegfried packs youthful energy with a sense of practicality. Standing at about 5"11, Siegfried has an a rather slim figure. While athletic and toned, Siegfried is not a walking tank of a muscle. Instead, he relies on guile, agility and a surprising amount of strength to overcome his enemies.

Siegfried has a full head of blonde hair that is rather long with no sense of style. Instead the hair is rather unkempt and untamed, giving Siegfried a wild yet surprisingly natural look. Peering through his unkempt hair, are a pair of light blue eyes. Siegfried's eyes are a fair size and quite expressive. People often comment that his eyes are warm and inviting, shining in the natural light. Siegfried's face is quite thin with rosy cheeks, giving him an innocent childish look. The face is free of impurities and any disfiguring marks. His nose is small and thin as well, in line with his general facial features. He also has thin lips and a rather small chin considering the fact his face is quite long. The one thing of note is a single silver loop piercing in his left ear.

Siegfried's outfit suits that of an adventuring noble above all else. He favors his obviously expensive red long sleeved shirt with gold accents and buckle on his chest. Over this, Siegfried wears a blue jacket with gold buttons. Black pants cover his legs with a brown leather belt with several utility pockets for item holding. He wears fine, expensive, durable leather gauntlets and boots. A signature golden scarf is worn around his neck, not only for personal sense of style but also to keep him warm in the colder environments of the north. All his clothing carries a sense of regal status, while also being tactically effective. Siegfried carries his steel broad sword on his back in an elaborate sheath, along with the standard Hylian shield. He carries his other tools on his belt and leather bag that he brings with him everywhere, resembling a vagabond above all else.

Personality:
Siegfried makes a good impression, possibly because he embodies some of the most respectable qualities one could find in a person. Aspiring to be a true knight, Siegfried carries himself with a noble aura that guides his life with chivalry and respect. Siegfried is committed to be the best man he can be and does with unrivaled conviction. Influenced greatly by the stories of old, Siegfried is brave, courageous and dreams of saving the land of Hyrule one good deed at a time. He even hopes to marry the damsel in distress (and personally hopes it is the princess herself).

Because of his knightly spirit, Siegfried is honorable, compassionate, trustworthy and good natured. Siegfried tells the truth, honors his word, helps those in need, stands against injustice and punishes those who seek to destroy the peace and harmony he desires. As to be expected, Siegfried has a strong moral character, taking the best course of action for the betterment of the society around him. He always works towards the greater good, rarely tending to his own self interests. Siegfried protects the weak and opposes the strong, unless their intentions are just from his perspective.

Siegfried values law and order, firmly believing that laws are necessary to keep a society morally conscious and good. Should a society recognize and follow the laws enacted by the government, order will be maintained and life will be peaceful. Peace brings progress and progress is necessary for a society to be pure. He sees as laws as a necessary to promote the welfare of all members of a society, protect their well being and guaranteeing a fair justice system. In this respect, he will follow the laws of foreign systems, recognizing that each society has its own harmony to maintain. This being said, Siegfried will willingly break the law if he feels the law is unjust or if the circumstances call for Siegfried to intervene on the behalf of true " justice" that he stands for. To this end, Siegfried upholds his variation of justice called "moral justice" in which the most morally good actions are the most justified.

He also values loyalty, never breaking an oath and expecting others to do the same. Carrying himself with a strict guideline, He remains loyal to any group he is associated with working towards the goals of said group with conviction (though he is not willingly to take morally questionable actions to achieve them). In these groups, he works for the betterment of the group not willing to impede progress on a personal level. He wishes to succeed and help his allies, therefore it is fair to say he will never leave a man behind. In groups, he often steps up as leader and tries to lead to the best of his ability. He does recognize, however, that his strict moral convictions can be abrasive and that compromise is a necessary option, though he dislikes having to do so firmly believing that his way is the best way. Betrayal is a sin and he strongly dislikes those that work for their own self interest. He will not purse vengeance for personal crimes but will attempt to punish those who cross them, often in creative ways if possible. The punishment must fit the crime in Siegfried's mind.

Adaptable, calculating, and intelligent Siegfried uses his natural talents to overcome the various situations he is presented with. Avid to continue his success, Siegfried hones his talents in training and practice. He is adventurous, and actively seeks out adventure in the outside world. He enjoys a challenge and continues to test himself whenever possible. Despite these ambitions, Siegfried lacks true outwardly experience and the wisdom to apply these talents. New situations sometimes stump him and he rarely thinks outside the box, relying on conservative academic knowledge. Siegfried has the tendency to over think things and often misses simple solutions.

Despite this rough strict description of Siegfried, his social interaction with the outside world may say otherwise. Siegfried follows the principle of treating others like you want to be treated. He treats people with respect, kindness and understanding, giving everyone a fair chance to speak their mind. That being said, he can be incredibly stubborn and does not enjoy when people disagree with them. He recognizes authority, but does not hesitate to stand against it when he conflicts with his own principles. He speaks his mind and is very vocal, being brash at times. This can be attributed to Siegfried's immaturity, which often gets him in trouble. Pranks, innocent jokes and displays of joy are all too common with Siegfried which can be attributed to him attempting to keep things from getting overly stressful or serious. Still young, he wants life to be enjoyable for all which may explain his strong desire for peace. Though, these jokes are often poorly received.

Siegfried remains humble at all times, never boasting though he remains ambitious nonetheless. Usually calm, Siegfried does his best to remain in control of his emotions. Regardless, he does get caught up in the heat of the moment which causes his emotions to get out of hand. When things go wrong, for example, he is the first to blame himself, believing that if he was stronger that the problem could be avoided. Anger will guide his courage from transforming into recklessness which endangers him and his allies. Siegfried is therefore a hinderance in times of emotional stress.

This goes hand in hand with his childlike innocence. In the gap between a boy and a man, Siegfried is beginning to learn many things and therefore displays a lack of knowledge on many topics. Immature in social interaction (outside of basic respect and understanding), Siegfried is slow to develop close bonds with people and has few friends and people he can truly trust (expecting many to take advantage of him, which is a common trend). This often leads him walking into awkward situations when he attempts to talk to people as he is excessively shy outside of professional dealings. Innocence is often a word to describe Siegfried as he does poorly in romantic situations, lacking "knowledge" of women and any such humor surrounding such a topic will go over his head. Siegfried is also excessively naive, seeing the good in everyone and is willing to give people several chances to redeem themselves. This has lead him being taken advantage of several times in the past. Therefore, he despises those betray others above all else. Siegfried is also a sheep (or a dog as he prefers to be called), following orders almost too well particularly from those in the government. This would explain why he loves to be leader, but is also such a poor one lacking the knowledge to do so. A kid with lots of power is what his mentors called him.

Siegfried still lives in his fantasy world of legends and story, which has bestowed a very uneducated view of the world (though he does have basic knowledge of the different societies). He has an idealized perspective of Hyrule and is relatively oblivious to societal problems, such as social inequity. As such, one could call him a blank slate that is waiting to be written on.

Siegfried is a young, earnest man with his heart in the right place with an ambition to help the world a better place, but his own innocence keeps him from being the man would can truly make a difference.

History:
Siegfried was the third child to Richard and Elizabeth Wagnar, and became a fine noble house with a legacy of serving the crown faithfully following the restoration of the throne following Ganon's defeat 500 years ago. Therefore, Siegfried was born into a family with high expectations to serve the royal family with zeal comparable to that of a religious cult. Fortunately for him, however, those standards were lax in comparison to that of his older siblings.

The third child and second in succession for the family title, Siegfried spent most of his life in, Harken, his older brother's shadow. Despite this, his early life was peaceful and serene. He remained in the richest district in the Castle Town, received a top-notch education, and trained in the art of warfare by the finest instructors. While sheltered, Siegfried's early life was something to be envied. Each and every day was a strenuous process to become the best knight possible. To this end, he followed in his brother's footsteps. Harken, 10 years his senior, became his tutor was Siegfried when he entered his teens and his education intensified. They spent many hours together and a close brotherly bond grew between the two. The fact that Siegfried learned from what of the best Hylian Knights was just an extra bonus for the young as an admiration for each other's skills developed, though Siegfried never quite caught up with his brother. Siegfried, not being selfish, even passed on his knowledge to his younger brother, Roland, as Roland became of age in the latter years of Siegfried's training. The biggest separation between these three brothers was Siegfried's fascinations with the stories of old. Harken was too much of a realist to believe them while Roland was wrapped up in his studies of the arts and sciences. Siegfried became a fantasy night, engrossed in the legends of Hyrule.

When Siegfried turned 16, his father experienced the sudden onset of sickness. While he eventually recovered, Richard resigned his position as head of the house to his son Harken, who became of the youngest noblemen of the era. Siegfried, as a result, lost one of his closest friends as Harken became engrossed in his newfound rule as the head of the house even with the sickly Richard serving as Harken's steward. Siegfried became a long process of educating himself alone usually with his mother's assistance and used training sessions with Roland to refine the skills he developed with Harken. The close bonds of the Wagnar family were further strained when Siegfried's sisters were married away to other noblemen for the sake of expanding the Wagnar influence. Losing the connections that kept him within the Wagnar manor, Siegfried decided to leave home as well, becoming a wandering hero (like the stories he read as a child) for a few years before returning as a man ready to become a knight.

At the age of 17, Siegfried officially set out of the Castle Town and wandered the land of Hyrule. He experienced a great culture shock as the land was far different than he imagined he would experience. His education exposed him to these cultures but to witness the world firsthand was far different than he would imagine. He worked a number of odd jobs, helping various people and families in simple ways. It was less stimulating than he had hoped, but Siegfried found ways to improve himself physically, mentally and emotionally becoming a stronger and better person through his deeds. He fought a few beasts in his travels, but nothing worth noting in the legends of Siegfried. His travels lasted for a little more than a year and brought him to a number of regions within Hyrule. Unable to reach every region, such as Zora's Domain, he had to cut his travels short and returned to Castle Town a little before 19th Birthday.

He enlisted in the Hylian military with the aspirations of becoming a Hylian Knight. Following orders obediently, Siegfried did more than go through the motions; he went to the next level. Anywhere he went, crime dropped. In every training session, he defeated his superiors. In every facet of his profession, he emerged as the best man in military.

A little after his 19th birthday, Siegfried earned the rank of Hylian Knight becoming one of the youngest knights in service to the crown. Since then, he freely wandered all of Hyrule, upholding the law of the kingdom as well as continuing his crusade to do good.

Other:
Siegfried typically refrains from wearing armor as he feels it impedes movement as well as creating an intimidating appearance. In his experience, people respond to him without the armor. That being said, he wears his shield with great pride.

Siegfried tends to avoid going to bars despite his brother's intention to get his brother drunk.

Siegfried loves food and enjoys dining in fanciful places.

Siegfried typically carries a number of weapons on him including: a steel broad sword, a well made Bow (with an opulent quiver to accompany it), and a pair of hunting knives. The sword, bow, shield and quiver rest on his back with the pair of hunting knives rest on his thighs with one knife sitting in holsters wrapped around his legs. He has also a utility belt with various tools such as keys, lock picks, a sling and rocks (for projectiles and distractions), a number of other small hand tools.

Siegfried is a self proclaimed ladies man and is known to flirt, though his own lack of speech craft makes it difficult for him to do so.

@ Wymsical: Sorry to hear it. Well, very well, and good luck with your other RPs.

@ Rakiri: Looks good so far! That's quite a personality!

@ Fuyu: Also looks good. Can't wait for the history!

While the rest of you are finishing up their SUs, I'll toss out a few announcements. First, I believe I have said I might give your character special weapons. Well, I've decided against that, so you get to keep whatever weapon you originally chose. I will still be giving out special instruments, however, but as I said before, it's ok to have two instruments. If anyone is wondering, the instruments that I am using are the Instruments of the Sirens. However, I will not be using them as they are used in Link's Awakening. I'm going to create some songs for each character to learn and play on whichever instrument they recieve.

Since the orginal Zora guy dropped out, I shall be the new Zora! (If someone doesn't ninja me)

Name: Hana Aquatico

Age: 16

Race: Zora

Appearance: Hana looks, normally, like a regular Zora. However, since she wears clothing, she wears a dark blue T-shirt with a light blue collar and sleeves, purple shorts, and yellow sandels. She also has a blue amulet on a chain she uses for a necklace, and a purple training headband with two light blue ribbons hanging down that fade into purple when they go up the the main part of the headband. Hana somtimes wears a light blue dress that fades to white on the top when she goes to a special occasion.

Personality: Hana is very kind to everyone (including non-Zoras), and since she is Lulu's decendent, she also L-O-V-E-S to sing. She is also very daring, and her same aged non-Zora brother that they adopted is Skull Kid. She has adapted to play pranks with him, so she is kinda a trickster. However, if you look past that, you can see the young, smiling kind Zora that Hana is. Dispite this, some others mistake her for being only a trickster, dispite Hana being kind very often. She doesn't mind this though, just shrugs it off.

History: Hana was born many many MANY years after the death of Lulu and Mikau. She was their decendent. One day, she heard that the door to Hyrule from Termina was open, and surprisingly, was one of the Zora's selected to go on the journey to meet the Zora's in Hyrule. Hana had always wanted to go there, so she took her mini guitar and set of with the other Zora's chosen to go. She was accepted into the Hyrulian version of Zora Hall, Zora's domain, and soon after, Hana met Skull Kid.

She played with Skull Kid every single day, and took him in as her new little brother. They were both happy, and played instruments everyday, her playing the guitar or singing, and Skull Kid playing a Ocarina he made. Soon, however, Hana's brother went missing, making her feel very upset. However, soon, a letter saying that they needed a strong Zora warrior came, and all the Zora's chose Hana to go, making her feel proud and happy once more. She now takes this as an oportunity to find her lost brother, Skull Kid.

Password: Triumph Forks

Other: Hana is Lula's decendent, and the big sister of Skull Kid, whom she adopted.

RP Sample: Hana leaped over the bridge. Ever since she lost Skull Kid, she had been ancious to start her adventure, as she had been chosen to be the warrior that would represent the Zora tribe, by just a letter arriving from Princess Zelda herself. She knew that this wasn't going to be easy, but Hana HAD to do it. After all, this was Hyrule she lived in, and it could be in danger!

Hana then saw a small paper. When she picked it up, it read "Dear Hana, if you recieve this letter when it is in one piece, then I am alive and well. I am being taken care of, and loved. Do not worry, I am still in Hyrule. I just am somewhere....far from Zora's Domain. Please, I wish to see you again. Love, Skull Kid."

Hana almost burst into tears. At least her little brother was ok, but where was he? There was no envelope, so she couldn't see the return address. Wait...there was an envelope! It layed on the ground, near where she had picked up the letter. The place the letter came from was.....Kokiri Forest. She had something to do though, so if she went to Kokiri forest on her travels, Hana would definetly look for Skull Kid. She then continued towards Hyrule Castle, and where Princess Zelda has called her...
