Madeline Valentine
Chapter 1- Day 1Part 3.

Madeline smiled as she reached the entrance to Route 1 Pyro at her side. She was practically shaking in excitement. This was it, once she stepped foot out of Lachlan Town it would be official. She would be on her journey. Madeline smiled to herself remembering how she heard in other regions people started their journeys at her age, she also remembered how she wasn't to keen on being a Pokemon Trainer when she was younger. Snapped out of thoughts by Pyro nuzzling against her leg she smiled petting his head. "Lets go" she smiled and with her Pokemon at her side Madeline took her first steps onto route 1.

Smiling more Madeline walked down the path taking in what was around her. There were trees everywhere as well as tall grass. The sun was higher in the blue sky not a cloud in sight and there was a slight breeze that made the leaves and grass move. But so far she hadn't seen a single Pokemon yet. "no wild Pokemon yet Pyro, but I'm sure we'll find some soon" she spoke softly as she looked around. She figured what wild Pokemon were out and about were hiding in the trees and tall grass. That's the perfect place to be unseen so that's probably were the Pokemon hid. Right after she said that though Madeline saw a small bird like Pokemon hop out of the grass and she stopped right away pulling out her Pokedex and pointing it at the bird Pokemon.

"Olby The Young Owl Pokemon. Olby can survive almost anywhere within a flock. They are nocturnal creatures and prefer to fly at night while sleeping during the day." The pokedex's robotic sounding voice spoke and Madeline smiled as she noticed she hadn't startled the Olby yet in fact it hadn't even seen her or Pyro.

"okay Pyro I want you to use tackle on Olby" Madeline said stepping back a few steps so Pyro stood between her and the wild Olby. Pyro ran at Olby and slammed into it's side making it skid backwards and glare at Pyro.

Olby glared and flapped it's wings lifting it's body off the ground as it made it's wings flap faster stirring the wind and dirt with it sending it right at Pyro and Madeline. Madeline quickly looking away and covered her eyes as the wind went her hair and Pyro whined skidding back from the power of Gust.

After a few moments the wind stopped and Olby landed back on the ground. Looking back at the wild Pokemon Madeline ran her fingers through her hair. "Pyro use Ember" she ordered as Pyro stood his ground and opened his mouth sending several small balls of fire at Olby.

The wild Olby glared again and flapped it's wings stirring up the sand sending it at Pyro using Sand Attack. "Use Growl then Ember again Pyro."

Pyro put his paws onto the ground and glared at Olby as a deep growl issued from his throat making Olby stop and look at Pyro as he used Ember again hitting Olby with several small balls of fire.

Seeing her chance Madeline pulled out one of the Pokeball's Professor Kampar had given her and she tossed it at Olby. The Pokeball hit the wild Pokemon and a red light drew it inside. The Pokeball fell onto the ground and started to shake back and forth.

1ninjadude1701: Alright, your application is all good. You can begin with Weadile.
Information will be editted in the top post, and OOC thread. Remember to look at the OOC thread as you work.

Gevevieve: The Pokeball rocked back and forth for a few seconds before opening in a flash of bright light. The Olby hasn't been caught! Do you want to continue to try to catch it?

Battles and trying to catch Pokemon need to be a little lengthier than that. c:

Day 1 Part 1

A new Partner.

Ashley Tonnwas a thirteen year old girl has always loved Pokémon. Ever since Ashley wasattacked by a man, and nearly killing her, She has loved Pokémon. Why? Because shesaw the most beautiful Pokémon that also saved her life. It shot fire at theman and he burned up instantly and she thought she also saw that the Pokémon wasshrouded in a rainbow as if trying to hide itself from view. Another man alsohappened to be taking a stroll at that time and took her to the hospital. Afterthose few days in the hospital she has loved Pokémon ever since and has vowedto take care of them. Her home pet, Eevee, has loved Ashley for the way shetakes care of him. It was about seven twenty five in the morning when she wokeup and noticed that she had over slept. She threw on her favorite orangeT-shirt and pink skinny jeans, wolfed down breakfast and left almost forgettingher ID. The sun was shining bright in the sky with only a few puffy clouds insight. Ashley dashed down the road, her Auburn colored air flying behind. Shedidn't even take in the natural beauties around her. The trees and Pokémon werebut mere flashes of light in the greater scheme of things, for she wouldn't getone if she was late. She needed this Pokémon not want, need because her mother was once a trainerbut she died giving birth. This is why she must become a trainer,to make her mother proud of her. It hurt Ashley to think about her mom; nearlyevery time she thought about her Ashley would start to cry. Finally after what feltlike hours she arrived at Professor Kampar's lab.

"ID please."Said the voice of the escort holding out his hand to receive the ID enclosed inthe letter. Ashley rummaged through her leather purse for the letter finallypulling it out and giving it to him.

"Right thisway please." The escort replied after validating the ID. They went into adecent size building with very complicated machines Ashley would never dreamof. At the end was a desktop table that took up about three sides of the littlecompartment. The Desk was almost completely rid of all belongings except for acase, a pokedex, and five poke balls. A middle aged woman with her hair in atight bun and had light colored skin was sitting at the center of the desk lookingintently at a book.

"Ma'am Hereis Ashley Tonn." The assistant told her before returning to his post.

"So yourAshley?" the woman replied with a southern accent.

"Y - Yes Ma'am."Ashley stammered.

"There's noneed to be nervous I don't bite." The woman replied in an attempt to makeAshley feel better.

"Now thenlet me introduce myself. I am Professor Kamper, my goal is to get you startedon your Pokémon journey so today I will be giving you your starter Pokémon."Professor Kamper reached over to her desk and grabbed the case.

"Iguar, andSalivern have already been taken." She told her opening up the case to revealthe only Pokémon left.

"This one isWeadile." She said pointing to it.

."Can I seehim?" Ashley requested.

"You mostcertainly can." Professor Kamper responded with a smile.

She pickedup the poke ball and threw it up in the air.

In a flashof white light something of what looked like a bi-pedal green lizard appeared.

"He's allyours." Professor Kamper told her leaving a wide smile on Ashley's face as sheleft the lab and headed toward Route one, where her adventure would trulystart.

1ninjadude1701: Semi-good post. Try to make your posts a bit longer and a bit more detailed next time. You may continue. You also didn't include in your post what your character wants to go into - gym battling, coordinating, battle light matches, or just traveling around the region. That is pretty important.

Full Name: Ryan Blake

Gender: I'm thinking Male

Age: 16

Height and Weight: Ryan is about 5"8, and although he isn't the tallest he has the height of an average boy. He weighs about 150 pounds, and he doesn't have the kind of body that you would find on a body builders magazine cover, but he isn't fat either. He finds himself in an awkward place in between.

Appearance: Ryan never really dresses to impress. His shaggy mane of brown hair is hidden beneath a backwards baseball cap, embroidered with the Pokémon Contest logo. He wears a simple white shirt with a red hooded sleeveless vest, blue jeans, and red chucks. He likes to keep clean, though, so whenever he finds himself in town he always makes sure he washes his clothes. He has bright green eyes and a tan complexion.

Personality: Ryan is really a big sweetheart. He is filled to the brim with compassion, and he never shows anyone anything but kindness. But when he gets into a battle or a contest, Ryan's sweet attitude boils down to raw power aimed at winning. He is ruthless in battle, and he will not stop until he wins. Ryan saves all of his angry energy and aims it into battle, a healthy and good tactic to win and vent all of his emotions. Ryan is very excited to start his journey, even if it is late.

History: Ryan was born and raised in Lachlan town, one of the smallest towns in the region. His parents moved there before he was born to establish a good and wholesome home life for their unborn child. Ryan was born soon after they moved, and they lived happily for 5 years. That is, until Ryan's father left them when he was 5 and never came back. Ryan and his mother struggled, but Ryan's mother soon acquired a steady job at the Pokémon Lab and they were okay again, until his mother became sick. Ryan's mother has a strange disease that has never been seen before.

Professor Kampar has been trying to find a cure, but he has only been able to stabilize the woman. Because of Ryan's difficult past, instead of becoming depressed he decided to look at the bright things in life and always has shown compassion and kindness. But if he ever comes across his father, he doesn't think his father would walk away in good shape. Ryan's main goal on the journey is to have fun, make friends, and win competitions and battles. But also, he really wants to find a Pokémon that will be able to cure his mother's illness.

Chosen Starter: WILD (I'm really excited for it if I get chosen ahaha)

CHAPTER 1: LACHLAN AND SUNRISE, DAY 1

Ryan stretched his arms and yawned as he rose out of bed. The neighborhood Royadeck screeched and began to peck the big elm tree, as he did every morning. The clock beside him never had to blare because of his natural alarm, but it shone in red numbers and said "6:30". "He's always on time." Ryan said to himself. He lifted himself out of the bed, and began to stretch. He grabbed piece of bread from a loaf he had sitting on his desk, and walked over to the window. He unlatched the hinge, and then threw the piece out towards the bird on the tree. It was a daily routine between the two. Ryan stepped quietly down the stairs, trying not to wake his mother. He quickly fixed her some eggs and bacon and a cup of coffee and slowly walked into her room. He set her breakfast down on the nightstand next to her, and then went back into the kitchen to grab the pills she took daily. He quickly tip toed back into the room, but he was greeted by his mother, who was awakened by the aroma of food. "Morning baby" She said to him, waiting for him to sit down next to her so she could touch his face.

"How are you feeling this morning, Ma?" Ryan popped some pills out of the bottle and handed her a glass of water to accompany them. She swallowed. "I'm feeling good, listen I have some things I need you to do for me. I need you to stop by the lab, Marie has something I need." Marie was the Professor of the town, and Ryan had known the woman since he was 6 or 7. "Alright, is there some kind of new medication or something?" Ryan asked quizzically. A tiny smile appeared on her face. "You'll see." After breakfast with his mother, Ryan climbed the stairs to get dressed. He pulled on his white shirt and jeans, zipped up his vest, tied up the laces of his chucks, and pulled on his cap. He rushed down the stairs and flew out the door, incredibly excited to be outside on such a nice day. He waved to his bird friend, who cawed back at him. Ryan then followed the path he had so many times before. After traveling for a few minutes, Ryan went around a bend, and now it was a straight shoot to the Lab. Soon, a white figure began plowing down the road. Ryan squinted his eyes, and saw that is was a Professors Aid.

"Morning Marty!" he shouted, waving to the man.

"Hey Ryan, you excited for your big day?" The man said, a big smile appearing on his face.

"What?" Ryan asked, confused. Nothing big was happening, he was just going to the Lab to get some more medication for his mother from the Professor………… right?

The man had a sudden look of horror on his face, before he dashed off. Ryan turned to see the man run off and then shrugged his shoulders and went about on his way. He finally arrived at the Lab, passing some other teens he had never seen before. The strange activity made him incredibly confused. He walked into the lab. "Hey Marie, my mom sent me?" Ryan shouted out, walking around the lab. The woman came out from a stack of papers. Her hair was in a bun, and her glasses were on the edge of her nose. The woman was middle aged, and looked as if she could have been his aunt.
"It's Professor Kampar." She said jokingly. "And hello Ryan, I see your Mother got my message."

He nodded. "She set me here; I'm assuming it's some new kind of medication?" Ryan asked, walking around the lab, picking up random papers. Suddenly, a pop was heard, and beside him was a little puppy. "Hey Vis, how are ya doing!" Ryan said picking him up in his arms. He petted the little puppy and the dog licked his face. These two had known each other for a very long time. They had played together when Ryan was a little kid, ran around outside as a teen. The puppy had grown up right beside Ryan.

"I don't understand how he keeps getting out of his Poke ball!" Professor Kampar said, laughing. "And actually, you aren't here for medication. You're here to start your journey with that little guy."

"You know I can't, Marie. I've got my Mom she's got no one……" Ryan began to say.

"Already taken care of, Marty is moving into your house to take care of her, besides we have a new lead that may work." The Professor smiled.

"Well then I have to go home and get all of my" Ryan began again. But the Professor held out his bag in front of her. He grabbed it. "Stuff…." He looked through the bag and found a few potions, a change of clothes, and a map. "Well, I have to go home and say goodbye." He said to the woman.

"Your mother left you a video on your new Pokedex; she knows that if you went home she wouldn't be able to make you leave." The woman smiled. "Ryan I know you want to go and be a Coordinator and try to Battle Gyms and Battle Light matches and explore Hibernia so just go! Nothing is holding you back anymore!"
Ryan nodded. He looked down at the little puppy, which was as happy as can be. His tail was wagging behind him. "Alright, I'll go." Ryan was given a Pokedex, his trainer ID, and a few Poke balls. He took a deep breath, and walked out of the lab. Ready to start his journey.

CHAPTER 1: LACHLAN AND SUNRISE, DAY 1, PART 2

Ryan left the lab and was in shell shock. He was now the trainer of his best friend, he was going to be a coordinator, and he was going to explore the region. He was so incredibly excited he was almost shaking thinking about it. "Come on Vis, let's start our journey." The puppy leapt from Ryan's arms and began to walk with him down the road. They arrived back in Lachland town, his home. Ryan looked around one last time, Nostalgia sinking in. He couldn't believe he was leaving this place. Ryan felt as if he was ready to go, but he couldn't just leave yet. Ryan looked up, finding his friend in the tree. He waved up to his friend. The male bird was majestic and regal, and someday Ryan hoped to catch a Pokémon just like him. Ryan then knew what he had to do. He plopped down at the base of the tree and began writing.

Dear Mom,
Thank you for setting up such an incredible opportunity for me. I'm really glad that you forced me out of the house. Without you, I probably would have never left. I promise you I'm not going to be like Dad. I'm going to be coming home all of the time; it will be like I never left. But I'll be pursuing my dreams of being a Coordinator, and a Battle Light champion, and the Pokémon League champion. The possibilities are endless!
Love, Ryan.

Ryan stood up, and ran over to his house. He shoved the letter in the mailbox, and ran back to the pine tree. He slowly climbed its boughs. He wasn't the best climber. In fact he was pretty bad at it all together. But he kept making progress. Finally he got to the top, finding his striped bird friend. "Hey there buddy." Ryan said, rubbing the birds head. The Royadeck spread its wings, and hopped onto a higher branch, revealing its nest. It wasn't empty. It had eggs in it. Ryan gasped. He looked at the bird, realizing it was a girl. "I had always just assumed…….. You're a girl?" Ryan said laughing. "I'm sorry, wow. You're going to be a mom." Ryan said smiling. He was sad that he was going to miss the little chicks, but just like he said in his letter he was going to be back. He hugged his bird friend, excited for what was to come. He touched one of the blue speckled eggs, and he was excited to see what was inside.

Madeline Valentine
Chapter 1- Day 1 Part 4 .

The Pokeball rocked back and forth for a few seconds before it opened in a white flash of light and the Olby reappeared glaring at Pyro and Madeline. "Aww I didn't catch it" Madeline thought a sad look on her face before she grew determined to catch it still. "Pyro use Tackle" she said watching as her pokemon ran at the Olby only for the wild Pokemon to jump out of the way and counter by slamming into Pyro with the move her Pokemon had just used.

Pyro whimpered and Madeline bit her lip. "Shake it off Pyro and use Ember" she called out and Pyro sent small balls of fire at the Olby. Olby tried to dodge but was hit by a few of them letting out a cry as it was burned.

"Pyro use Growl" she said and Pyro let a deep growl out of his throat just as Olby flapped it's wings stirring up the dirt using sand attack. Madeline covered her eyes but Pyro got a face full of sand and went still for a minute. The Olby took that moment to hit Pyro with tackle again before wincing in pain from it's burn.

"Pyro use Tackle" Madeline said watching anxiously. She really wanted to catch this Pokemon. Pyro ran at the Olby again once the sand was out of his eyes and crashed into the pokemon with Tackle.

The Olby narrowed it's eyes more and flew at Pyro to use tackle. "Pyro dodge it and use Ember!"

Pyro jumped out of the way of the attack and hit the Olby in the back with ember. Making it cry out. Pyro was shaky on his feet and Madeline remembered the potions she had been given by her cousin. "Come here Pyro" she said keeping an eye on the wild Olby. When Pyro reached her side Madeline pulled out one of the potions and spayed it on Pyro who immedietly stood better and let out a purr of thanks.

"alright Pyro use Growl again" she said and Pyro growled once more at the Olby who backed up a bit fearfully. After a second though the Olby shook it's head and flew into the air flapping it's wings faster and faster. The wind picked up speed and Pyro skidded back wincing from another Gust attack.

"Pyro use Ember now" Madeline said seeing the Olby land on the ground. Pyro jumped forward a bit and opened his mouth sending five small fireballs at Olby. Three of them hit and the Olby let out a light cry of pain from the fire and the burn it still had.

The Olby than flew at Pyro to use tackle right as Madeline yelled "Pyro use tackle!" Pyro ran forward at the same time and both Pokemon collided mixing cries from the impact.

Madeline gasped worried but both Pyro and the Olby stood up again. The Olby glared and flapped it's wings using sand attack on Pyro.

"shake it off Pyro and use growl then tackle". Pyro growled and then ran at the Olby again hitting it with Tackle.

"Great Job Pyro" Madeline cheered smiling. She pulled out another Pokeball and held it in her hand as the Olby flew at Pyro hitting him with tackle. "use Ember Pyro!" Madeline grinned as Pyro opened his mouth hitting Olby with the fire balls. Taking a deep breath Madeline threw the second Pokeball at the Olby and the Pokeball fell to the ground shaking.

CHAPTER ONE: LACHLAN AND SUNRISE, DAY 1, PART 3

Ryan said goodbye to his bird friend, and climbed down the tree. He let Vis out of his poke ball and they began to walk down the path. Ryan's heart began to beat faster. It was stupid; he was only going down a road. But it was a weird feeling. Ryan was so independent and he was on his own most of the time, yet he never stepped foot out of Lachlan other than to go to the Lab, which was a 10 minute walk away. He was getting nervous, and then he saw the Route 1 sign and it all kind of just fell away.

"Okay Vis, let's go on the route!" Ryan said, taking a running start, the dog racing beside him. Ryan quickly turned his head and laughed at the dog following, but immediately stopped in his tracks when he turned back around. In front of him stood a strange rabbit looking creature. Ryan whipped out his handy dandy Pokedex to scan the creature. "Jickard, the kicking Pokémon. Usually dwelling along forest floors, the Jickard are known to be solitary Pokémon. But when threatened, it released many kicking attacks to ward away opponents."

Ryan looked down at Vis, and knew that the time had come for his first battle. "Alright Vis, let's see what you can really do. Use Dig on Jickard!" Vis dug right under the ground, and popped up right under Jickard but the rabbit looking creature merely hopped away, unaffected by the attack. Ryan grunted, obviously frustrated. The Jickard lifted one of its legs and smacked Vis twice. "Double Kick!" Ryan gasped. "Vis use Head-butt please!" The Dog slammed its head into the bunny, obviously doing some damage to the creature. The Jickard slid across the dirt road and screeched. "Leer" Ryan said, his brow furrowing.

"Vis keep using Head-butt, we don't have any other moves to use against him!" The dog kept throwing himself at the bunny, but it was still standing strong. Vis was getting tired. Then the Jickard began to repeatedly use double Kick, and Vis was getting beaten to a pulp. "Vis!" Ryan said, panicking. "Come here, come on!" Ryan shouted. Vis barely got away, and was limping back to Ryan. Ryan whipped out a potion and sprayed it all over the dog. He immediately responded to the treatment and was ready to get back into battle.

"Use Head-butt, buddy!" Luckily, the Jickard had no one to give him a potion, and it was obvious who was winning and who was losing. Now it was crunch time. "Vis, one last time! Use head-butt with all of your might!" Ryan knew this would be the end. Head-butt was incredibly strong because Vis's ability was Adaptibility, making moves of the same type stronger. Vis was a Normal type and so was Head-butt. Vis backed up, reared his legs, and sprinted at the Jickard.

Vis smashed into the creature, and the Jickard fell to the ground. "Yes!" Ryan yelled happily. He hugged Vis and smiled, and then noticed the Jickard was still on the ground. He looked at Vis. "We have to help him." Ryan rushed over to the Jickard and picked him up. "Let's go to the Pokémon Center." And with that Ryan began to run down the road, hoping it wasn't too late to save the creature.

RyanRoksXD: Good post, but-
The Jickard immediately jumps out of your hands, before limping back to the route. It looks weak, but if you really want to help it, you might have to try to capture it. Do you want to leave it, or capture it? Use your next post for that.

CHAPTER 1: LACHLAN AND SUNRISE, PART 3

Ryan looked at the Jickard with sadness. The creature was alone and scared and afraid. And Ryan had done this to him, had hurt the creature terribly. Ryan promised that he would help this creature, nothing deserved to be left alone, hurt and scared. Ryan slowly walked towards the creature, and placed a Pokeball on the ground in front of the creature. "If you need help, I can take you to the nearest Pokemon center and have you healed up. I promise. When were there, you can choose whether or not you want to go back into the wild. I promise. Alright little guy?" Ryan said smiling at the bunny.

Ryan remembered a time when he showed kindness to another broken Pokemon, and it had payed off in the end. Ryan was about 9 or 10, and one day while making a trip to the Professors lab, Ryan saw a little bird, a Hummintol, on the ground. It attempted to stand but was unable to. Ryan stopped in his tracks, and began to move towards the creature. The creature jumped away, terrified. But Ryan sat there, inching closer and closer. Soon it had been 4 hours since Ryan had been sitting next to the creature. Finally Ryan was able to pick up the bird, and he rushed it over to the Professor. She fixed the little guy up, and Ryan brought him back to the tree. They became the best of friends. This was the Royadeck that woke him every morning.

Ryan slowly began to step backwards, awaiting the bunny's decision. He looked down at Vis, and he saw the look of friendship and compassion in his eyes. Ryan hoped he had that same look within him, and that the Jickard somehow saw it. Ryan really wanted to help the defenseless creature, and was going to stick to every word he said. Suddenly, the Jickard started to stand. What was it going to do? Was it going to run away? Or go to the Pokemon Center with him?

RyanRoksXD: You can decide what the Jickard wants to do. If you take it the Pokemon Center and it is healed it, you can decide whether or not it wants to go back in the wild or travel with you. If it wants to travel, you have to battle it again and capture it. If you want to try to capture it, remember, you must end the post with the ball shaking, and I will tell you whether or not the Pokemon has been caught.

CHAPTER 1: LACHLAN AND SUNRISE. DAY 1: PART 5

The Jickard dashed past the Poke ball right into Ryan's arms. "What?" Ryan exclaimed, incredible surprised by the chain of events. But that didn't matter, he had to get somewhere that could heal this little guy, and fast. Ryan scooped up the Poke ball in one hand, and ran back down Route 1, heading towards the Professors Pokémon Lab. He dashed through Lachlan town, and kept running. Ryan's breath was becoming heavy, but he looked at the Jickard and saw a smile appear on its face. Ryan had the energy he needed. He busted through the doors. "Help! Help! This Jickard is hurt!"

"What's the problem Ryan?" Professor Kampar asked.

"This Jickard, I battled it and it's really hurt and I couldn't just leave it there." Ryan exclaimed "You've got to help it, to heal it" He shouted, shoving the Pokémon into the woman's hands.

"Alright, Alright. Hold on." The professor stated. She took the creature into her arms, and set him on a stretcher that sucked him into a machine. It buzzed and beeped and healed the little guy. When the machine was done, the stretcher came out again. Revealing a new and improved Jickard. "Hey, you're looking pretty good now. Come on let's get you back to the wild." Ryan said, leaving the lab.

He began to walk down the path, finding himself arriving in Lachlan Town. "Alright, back to Route 1. Time to get you home." Ryan said to the Jickard. The bunny Pokémon leaped from his hands, and hopped over to the big tree standing next to his house. Ryan shrugged his shoulders and was about to leave, but then Vis got a hold of his pant leg, and began to drag Ryan towards the Pokémon. "OHHHH" Ryan said, finally understanding that Jickard wanted to battle.

"Okay, Jickard. I'll give you what you want." Ryan said smiling. "Vis, you're up." The puppy Pokémon sprinted on the field, and barked at the Jickard. "Vis use………." Ryan began to say, but before Ryan could finish the Jickard flew through the air and began to kick Vis. Ryan gasp. "Vis use Dig to get away from him!" The dog dug through the ground, and appeared on the other side of the field. But then the Jickard immediately followed. The dog appeared again. "Vis watch!" The Jickard kicked the dogs back. "Out….."

Finally Ryan had thought of a plan. "Vis use Dig again!" The dog shot its glare right into Ryan's eyes, and Ryan nodded. Faithfully the dog jumped straight into the hole. The Jickard right on its tail, literally. Vis popped up. "Turn around and use Head-butt!" Ryan shouted. Vis flew through the air, and just as Jickard surfaced, Vis slammed into Jickard. "Keep going Vis, we don't know when we'll catch him again!"

Vis wailed on the poor little guy. But surprisingly, Jickard was just taking it. The Jickard flashed a glare straight at Ryan. "He's trying to show me what he can do." Ryan thought to himself. "Well let's play. Vis, use dig and when you resurface use Head-butt!" The dog dug under the ground, and then Head-butted Jickard incredibly high into the air. Jickard crashed to the ground. If it weren't for Vis's ability, Adaptability, Jickard would be in much better shape. Jickard stood up shakily and breathing hard. He suddenly stopped and stood there, as if accepting defeat. Ryan heard a screech, and looked up. It was his bird friend, cheering him on. Ryan gripped a Pokeball, and threw it at the Pokemon. Red light consumed it, and the ball began to shake.
