If I may highlight a personal interest here, I did enjoy the fact that he could be addicted to his own potions,

It was a spin on my original idea of alcoholism.

as well as the fact that all of his abilities come with a downside.
Seemed like the best way to go about it. That and I saw a number of peopel who took the idea of "flaw" to mean one relating to battle and thought I'd go another direction.

@Flygon No not unlimited slots but rather a first come first serve basis now that the prince/princess roles are filled. That said the fact you have shown the interest will probably count for something (although i cannot speak for Akio-San so dont take my word as law). At least this is how I understand it.

@Crushgaunt I must say I agree with Akio-San! I love your character and his flaws are very well thought out. Will lead to some interesting roleplay!

@Crushgaunt I'm hoping to see my characters steadfast adherence to the teachings of bushido present interesting situations. Honour being so important to his core beliefs should prove problematic when talking to those less honourable. Not necessarily a pure flaw but more of a double edged sword that can help and hinder him (although predictably mostly hinder!)

He may for example struggle with your characters potion addiction issues or perhaps with pinksapphire's Hikari Natsumi Dendetsu's practice of ninjutsu. Obviously this is all speculation and depends on who exactly the stories play out but it will be interesting to see.

:D Did I hear someone, Arctos, mention Pink's character, Hikari Natsumi Dendetsu? Haha, I already have plans with her meeting with Icarus Uprising soon! It's a little hard to understand the topic right now.

EDIT: By the way, your signature is very funny, Flyborg! xD

@ Shinydiamond: Yeah me and Crushgaunt are discussing our character's flaws seeing as his is particularly inventive. I used Pinksapphire in an example of possible interesting interactions others may have with my character. Seeing as he practices Bushido (The warriors way) and her character practices Ninjutsu it could be eventful. Ninjutsu is known for being dishonourable warfare methods or at least those that would not be allowed by those who practice Bushido so if my character discovers or is told this he may not think too highly of her.

Its purely speculation and may not be the case obviously depends how things play out. Have i made it any clearer for you?

EDIT: Realised the final sentence above sounds as if I am talking down to you and I did not mean it in such a way. Was a sincere question I apologise if it comes across in an offensive way.

Arctos, your character should get along just fine with mine! (My sign up is on page 3 somewhere...I think)

@Arctos: :P So Honour fights with honor, correct? Icarus does so too.

EDIT: My SU is on page 4. If Icarus & Honour were to meet, Icarus wouldn't trust so easily, so it'd might take a while before he gets along with Honour. :) They both fight with honor if you read my SU, so obviously they'll get along if it weren't for Icarus' trust issues.

EDIT AGAIN: xD Wait! Teruyoshi is on Divine Water! They'll definitely not get along!

@LT Col Fantastic: I have just read your SU (although i skimmed through it earlier today) and I can see our two characters getting on well! At least they will learn a lot from each other!

@ShinyDiamond: Well sort of yes.

Ninja are commonly known as the warriors without honour. They were spies and assassins so would kill people from the shadows etc. Dishonourably.
Bushido was the warriors way and promoted honour in all things. To the point where if you were dishonoured you would commit Seppuku (stomach cutting) a kind of ritual suicide. Not particularly pleasant.
So the two ideas are at odds in a very fundamental way. Ninja have no honour besides the fact that they serve a lord and do not betray him/her. Samurai have rules they cannot break and so cannot do things such as spy or assassinate people.
It is more complicated than this (some samurai were also ninja etc.) but this is not a history lesson and i dont want to bore you! xD

Both have their uses and Teruyoshi would respect the need for ninja within his own family but a ninja from the other family? That would be a whole other matter.

My Character will most likely get along with everyone on her side. But she hates to do what she's told, I also think my character is the youngest character, being only 11 years old.

Wow. . .it is kinda sad that I am not getting what some of the things you guys are talking about! XD

I'm just a child, and I get some of this Japanese honor stuff, but I get a little.

And I know about Ninjas. ^.^

Haha, yeah! Personality wise, hes a mixture of my friend Larry and the crisis core character Angeal. So Honour and he should get along swimmingly. (oh god, I just stole Akio-san's pun. Have mercy on my soul)

At meloetta: don't worry. Past the samurai and ninja stuff I never knew about Japan either. Akio-san had to explain Japanese names to me! XD

But I did read a book in school called samurai shortstop. Its about a japamerican who plays baseball. There is a lot of samurai stuff in there, especially seppuku (his uncle did it...I think)

But that was like, 8th grade. I can't remember that much of it.

@Genevieve Sounds good! From your SU and that description your character sounds similar to Arya Stark from A song of ice and fire series (Or if you watch the tv show Game of Thrones). The strong young girl. Although there are a fair few differences its just the sort of image I've built up. It'll be very interesting watching her develop I can say that much!

@Meloetta142 I dont think its sad in the least. I know because I've looked into it previously. Knowledge of it wont effect rp'ing with my character maybe you'll learn something about feudal Japan's society! Although I'm sure Akio-San could tell you more about that sort of thing than I can. Japan is his specialist subject it seems!

Oh and you would not be able to tell your youth from your writing. I would say from your posts you would be around the age of 16. Im assuming you're actually younger than this if you refer to yourself as a child though. Colour me impressed!

------------------EDIT------------------

@Lt Col Fantastic: I love Crisis Core and I can definitely see some Angeal in him youre right. I can see the two of them having perhaps a few training sessions together.

@ShinyDiamond: Well dont rule it out just yet. Rivalry could perhaps turn to friendship in the right circumstances after all! I'm reading your SU as I type this!
