So, I've seen a couple of threads about gym leaders and thought why not the tough E4? Who's your favourite E4 from all the regions, what makes them so special to you? What do you like about them- What sort of Pokemon they train, there personality, appearance?

I'll start it off. My favourite personally was Flint. Just his personality got me- being cool and chilled. Not a bad personality. His appearance strongly reminds me of Ronald McDonald for some reason.. maybe the hair xD?

And in Platinum his team is powerful and epic! So Flint is my favourite, what about you?

My favorite Elite Four is the Unova Elite Four. I really liked how you could battle them in any order you wanted and how their levels were balanced. They also made for great training in the post-game.

My favorite Elite 4 is Caitlin from the Unova E4 because of how she used to be one of the Frontier Brains of the Sinnoh/Johto Battle Frontier.

In terms of regional Elite 4, I like the Unova one because I get to fight them in any order.

Karen hands down, I've loved her from the moment I saw her in Silver - her design, attitude, team, everything.

I also liked the Unova league a lot (aside from Caitlin) and Lorelei :)

I don't know if I have a favorite Elite Four member, but I did like the Sinnoh Elite Four just because of some of their interesting typings. For example, I wouldn't have expected to see a Bug-type Elite Four member, and we hadn't seen a Ground-type before. Also, we'd never seen a member who's type could potentially match your starter until Flint (Fire-type).

Kanto-I can't decide between Lorelei and Agatha. Despite her temper, Lorelei is graceful and elegant yet tomboyish with a nerdy type of beauty(no wonder Misty idolizes her. She reminds of how Misty could be as an adult). I like how Agatha doesn't let her age stop her from kicking butt and she uses my second favorite type, ghost. She's creepy, but in a good way to me.

Johto-Karen because not only is the only girl this time around with a nice design(old old one. Not that tacky mess they put in for HG/SS), but has all my favorite pokemon on her team. I love her speech about fighting with your favorite pokemon(or at least, ones that you like enough to use) instead of going straight for the strongest ones. It's a philosophy I go by when I'm playing.

Hoenn-This is my least favorite Elite Four as a whole. They're completely underwhelming both as characters and their teams(Phoebe's and Glacia's were terrible). If there is a remake, I hope they completely revamp this group.

Sinnoh-A tie between Lucian and Flint. Lucian has intelligent, sophisticated, and charismatic design/personality that I like. I love how's he the only psychic specialist who isn't a psychic, showing that anyone can train them. Psychic is one of my favorite types(and not because they're former game breakers. I just like supernatural things). Flint is just plain funny especially when him and Volkner are together; and I like how's he so laid back despite being so hyper and passionate . I also like his "Ronald McDonald" inspired design and how he's one of the few non-black guys who can pull off an afro.

Unova-A tie between Shauntal and Grimsley. I love how Shauntal is a cute, gothic bookworm and a writer with a Velma inspired design that trains one of my favorite types. She's also another trainer who uses all favorite pokemon. I love Grimsley's Dracula inspired design and his charismatic, sneaky personality. He's always fun to rematch.

My favourite is Flint mainly because he is a very good fire type trainer and he have strong Fire type pokemon. Although in Platinum he have only 2 fire types on his team but in Platinum he have some great fire type pokemon such as Infernape and Magmortar.

Lorelei, no question. I like her cool, calculating personality, and she's a character that's always intrigued me (especially her disappearance in G/S/C, which was somewhat hinted at in FR/LG).

Shauntal and Caitlin for me, probably cos they look so cute when I see fanart of them together.

But I do love Ghost and Psychic Pokemon, not to mention they use some of my faves!

And I love their appearances too.

Agatha is definitely my favorite E4 member. I don't know why exactly, maybe it's her harsh personality, or maybe her awesome team?

I've never really had a favourite member of the E4, though I guess I'd say Bruno. He was an Elite 4 member in my two favourite generations, I've always thought he had a really cool design, and his teams were some of my favourites, possibly because it was one of the teams I was always prepared for and could beat easily ;p Anyways, I thought it was cool meeting him outside of the E4 too in G/S/C and presumably also HG/SS, inside one of the caves, and to get Tyrouge from him, even though it was a Pokemon I never got to use. I really wanted Hitmontop though, and even though I learned how to evolve it into that, I had no idea how I could get the Attack and Defense stats to be the same at that time :(

I like Marshel. The Pokemon he uses also fit him...Well, Mienshao not as much. Marshal really doesn't seem like the...calm type. I also like how they design him. So urban. And also, when I first saw him, I was like...Sean? LOL He looks so simliar to him; really in the face. Street Fighter 3.

I like the original Elite 4 from Kanto. They were actually a challenge. The others not so much to me.
