You're now 30 years old. You have the perfect life.

What does the perfect life mean to you? What is involved in it? Do you have any children? Where do you live? What kind of area do you live in? What do your children, if you have any, do? How old are they? What kind of job do you have? What kind of car do you drive? What do you do for fun? Are you married? Include as much information as you like.

Creator of a fictional universe with a modest following. Earning a living on part-time work and spending half my free time on developing the aforementioned paracosm; I don't think I'll ever be finished with it. So, a perfect life to me is imagination, expression of sapience, and having the time for that.

I am explicitly disinterested in having a partner(s) and/or child(ren), and am indifferent to wealth.

I would have teenage daughter and husband, we would be living in Dragotown in Dragontopian islands.
I would be a full member of the Ninja Protection Squad Dragotown branch.

Just have find away to get Dragontopian Islands a real placer...sounds easy.

30 would mean that my daughter would be...13? Ideally we'd be living in an actual house not too far from here since this is a pretty nice neighborhood. I'd be down with keeping this job and maybe being married. It'd be a quiet little life. I'd enjoy it.

Factoring in all of my childhood dreams would make it all different. I'd be a 30-year-old astronaut cowboy living in a semi-secluded mountain mansion with a farm of exotic animals. I'd have retired early, of course, but I'd still work because those space cows don't herd themselves.

Oh gosh.. so many possibilities..

I guess.. happy and healthy family; good friends. Living with my boyfriend/husband, and living in a nice house- living very comfortably (money wise) with jobs we are both happy with and make us enjoy work/ make us feel accomplished.
And of course, again, happy and healthy <3 Don't think I'd have kids yet, but maybe at this age I would be considering.
Simple but not really that simple at the same time.

Happily married, with children; secure job with good money and great opportunities; respect and admiration from your peers; being considered a good role model; great location, such as Florida, NYC, California, among others.

That's what I consider ideal

I live on a street that's kind of like Wisteria Lane but without all the untimely deaths. I live in a nice spacious two-level house with my husband and no children. All my friends are now my neighbours and we see each other all the time and are incredibly close. My family lives a medium distance away; close enough that I can drive to visit them and vice versa if we want, but not so close that we live in each other's pockets.

I work as an author, taking my laptop to a library or a cafe for a mixture of socialising and work while my husband works at a job that requires him to leave the house from 9-5. This isn't because I want him away from me, it's just because if we were both to have jobs that allowed us to stay home all the time, we would be around each other all the time and we'd start to get on each other's nerves. Even loving couples need space so that they can appreciate the time they spend together.

My ideal life at 30... interesting.

Starting with family - Happily married with two (maybe three children) an older boy and a younger girl (maybe add in another girl), because for some reason I always deal better with girls no matter what the age. If I was thirty I'd guess their ages would be... probably four and two... on second thought scratch the third haha.

As for employment/wealth I'd be working full time as a teacher with coaching dance on the side for enjoyment and a bit of extra cash... maybe even be working towards a short story anthology. Wealth wise, I don't particularly care if I end up filthy rich or not because I'll live a modest living anyway really. I'd want enough that I could own my house (or at least have it mortgaged, same sort of story on the car) and still afford to live comfortably and enjoy hobbies.

Housing wise, nothing spectacular really. A middle-sized house with three-four bedrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen, bathrooms (2-3 and also dah), garage and a decent (not large) backyard. I'd want to live on the opposite side of my current neighbourhood as I currently live on the less pleasant side. But really it could be far worse either way. I'll let you know if anything else comes up.

Eh.
Hopefully I won't be living on the street or something like that. But I don't expect to have some amazing future.

My ideal life at 30... Well, probably living with my husband/wife with a few dogs and, of course, ferrets. I'm not big on kids, so I probably wouldn't have any, but if my spouse really wanted to, perhaps I would consider...

I don't know if I have anything in particular in mind for a house, but enough bedrooms for me and the spouse, one for the ferrets, one for guests or a potential child, and either one extra or at least one special area for stuff like games and things. I'd like to have a nice yard as well for the dogs. I'd prefer to live in a neighborhood like the one I live in now, with plenty of space for yards, nice people, and very little crime. This place could use a bit of diversity though :P

As for jobs, I would have finished my book, or a couple or a few, and would write for money. I don't know what my spouse would do, hopefully something they enjoy. And hopefully we make enough money for ourselves and pets to live comfortably and happily :P

I think a lot is arbitrary for me about what I want my life to be at 30, since I've always been content to live my life out the way that it's already going.

That being said, I think that by 30, as long as I've got my own house (rather than an apartment), a solid job and a long-term relationship (married or not) and I'll be happy. Then there are some of the smaller things like having a dog, kids, extra money, etc. that I do hope to have at one point, but won't get discouraged if I don't have them quite yet.

If I've fulfilled my lifelong goals, dreams and desires. Its vague I know. As long I'll enjoy my job and make a mark inthis world it will perfect.

I would be graduated from school with all my debt paid off... My job is already what I want with my life so I wouldn't change that. I already have my dream car but it comes as a pretty big expense. >.>; No kids... but probably 3 dogs and 2 cats. A cute small house with a huge yard.
