Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I would like to know how I can improve my team in Pokémon Black (not for competitive purposes, in-game and the battle trains). I don't really care about EV's or natures, I only want to know if I could improve their moveset or item... or just replace them with different pokémon.
So, here they are:

Mamoswine lvl 50 @ BrightPowder
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Adamant
- Hail
- Blizzard
- Take Down
- Rest

Zoroark lvl 59 @ Leftovers
Ability: Illusion
Nature: Brave
- Night Slash
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

Blastoise lvl 46 @Mystic Water
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Relaxed
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Counter
- Earthquake

Exeggutor lvl 47 @Lucky Egg
Ability: Chlorophyll
Nature: Brave
- Psychic
- Reflect
- SolarBeam
- Leech Seed

Escavalier lvl 56 @Razor Claw
Ability: Shell Armor
Nature: Calm
- Iron Head
- X-Scissor
- Giga Impact
- Swords Dance

Chatot lvl 93 @Sharp Beak
Ability: Tangled Feet
Nature: Lonely
- Hyper Voice
- U-turn
- Fly
- Aerial Ace

Tada!
I almost might replace one of them with the event Mewtwo we're getting soon. Which one?

Thanks!

Just going to go Pokemon by Pokemon!

On Mamoswine, rest is risky because without a Chesto Berry (aka chestorest) you're leaving yourself vulnerable for a few turns. :x There's also the fact that hail = bad for your other team mates, so rather than go for the 100% accuracy but take a risk at the same time, instead you'd be best off getting a new Mamoswine (and getting physical ice-based attacks on it), because really, with that attack power it kinda sucks that you haven't got any physical ice attacks. :( If not, then just keep Hail/Blizzard and take the risk, while also using Stone Edge and Earthquake for STAB and coverage.

Okay so for Zoroark I can see why you used Night Slash (at least I think so?) but in about 10 levels, remember to swap Night Slash for Night Daze since Zoroark specialises in special attack and by using a physical attack you're losing power when you could just go for a special one. :x Best to move re-learner Nasty Plot over Calm Mind since you already have good speed, and pretty bad defences so you want to be able to sweep as fast as possible rather than specially set up and then end up getting defeated by something that works physically or resists your STAB. Shadow Ball is kind of redundant since you can hit psychic types anyway, but since there aren't set things in-game that are specifically threats, there's no issue in keeping it.

For Blastoise, it's somewhat bulky and can be good to spread status around, so rather than attacking something straight out, go for Scald to burn the opponents. Plus Surf isn't that necessary in-game if you have Fly (which you do).

On Escavalier, Return > Giga Impact because it leaves you defenseless for a turn which isn't fun :x Plus if it really loves you, Return will do great.

Aaand that's about all I can think of right now, good luck.

Thank you for the tips :D
I'm going to change the things you said right now. I'll try it and see how it goes.
Again, thanks for your great tips!

Yeah, I got the mamoswine because it has Thick Fat, and thus no weaknesses. I'll try to change it.

I can recommend natures for you.

Brave isn't a good match-up for Zoroark, try breeding for a Timid or Modest nature since it's Special-based. Timid and Modest are the best natures for special-based attackers but Rash or Mild nature is OK (avoid Quiet cos it lowers Speed), also natures that lower Attack (i.e Bold, Calm).

Escavalier + Calm Nature = Bad. Catch yourself another Karrablast and find someone with a Shelmet to trade with so you have a better Escavalier. Adamant is your best bet as it's physical-based but you can also go for Jolly if you want extra Speed.

Please replace your Escavalier cos of its nature being a hindrance.

You'll want to catch a Karrablast with an Adamant, Naughty, Lonely or Jolly nature (avoid Brave cos it lowers Speed). If you need to Synchronize the nature go to Celestial Tower and do an Elgyem-catching spree, you'll want to catch Elgyems with Synchronize. Check for Synchronize by paralyzing the Elgyem and if it paralyzes you back, it has Synchronize. According to Marriland, he says Elgyem are the best users of Synchronize in Black & White. Check every Elgyem you catch so that you have different natures on each one, when you get the nature you need, put that Elgyem (make sure it has Synchronize!) at the front of the party but also equip a Smoke Ball as it's slow and may not be able to run away from every battle. Then go to Route 6 and catch a few Karrablast, check their natures and if you get one with a nature I listed above then good for you. Train it up, then trade with someone who has a Shelmet and you should evolve that Karrablast into Escavalier.

Chatot is not very good to use and it's strategy is defensive. Don't like it.

For a main battler to replace Chatot, there are much better options. Only take Chatot if you need to Fly somewhere, otherwise don't use it.

Okay... So I tried to change my team a little to see what can improve and this is what I've come up with (changes in bold):

(I'm going to breed this one to get a better nature)
Zoroark lvl 59 @ Blackglasses
Ability: Illusion
Nature: Brave
- Night Slash
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot

Blastoise lvl 46 @Mystic Water
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Relaxed
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Counter
- Earthquake

(I'm keeping this one because he loves me too much (Return). Also, I gave him some proteins to increase his attack)
Escavalier lvl 56 @Razor Claw
Ability: Shell Armor
Nature: Calm
- Iron Head
- X-Scissor
- Return
- Swords Dance

Replaced Exeggutor with:
Breloom lvl 55 @Miracle Seed
Ability: Poison Heal
Nature: Jolly
- Seed Bomb
- Spore
- Brick Break
- Swords Dance

Replaced Mamoswine with:
Snorlax lvl 53 @Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Relaxed
- Facade
- Body Slam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Replaced Chatot with:
Raichu lvl 58 @Expert Belt
Ability: Static
Nature: Careful (I gave him a LOT of calcium, though)
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Focus Punch
- Substitute

There. I'm now going to try them out.
Thanks for the tips, guys/girls!
