A little update for the peeps (first time I've ever used that word :P): I have renamed several of the Fakemon, many of which Crazy Weavile liked; so don't be surprised if their names change suddenly. I'm still working on a few others.

I'll change the names when I update the main post with these:

There's not been much activity in a while.

Various old Pokemon with new types and moves (and two re-typed old moves)

New speechbox (note the dim area around its sides)

New menu (With an option YOU will never find on yours.) :P

Don't get too excited - it won't be accessible in the final game.

Debug menus are usually for testing parts of the game while it's being made. In this case, Crazy Weavile can use it to warp to whatever map he wants, get every single item, modify his Pokémon, etc.

Dricanyon Town is a desert city, home to the last Gym, and a place to heal your Pokemon while roughly halfway to Cryptrise. This is good, as without Dricanyon's Center/Shop you could never make it. In the center of the town, roughly, one can see why this random patch of desert was chosen to be inhabited- it has a pond. The Gym is Fire-type, led by a certain someone with whom you may be familiar...

This is also the first showing of the new graphics for Center/Marts, mountains, and signs. (in addition to some things which aren't shown in this city) These wonderful graphics are done by Pyro of Skeetendo.

I like your concept here, but I was curious as to whether or not you had a demo up yet. I like to play a little bit of the game before judging it. Either way, I could probably do some spriting for you. The only real problem is that I have a major research paper to do for English and won't have much time until I graduate (which will be in two weeks :) yay). I'll copy some of the lesser drawings tonight and do some recolorings/fixing and send my revisions sometime this week. If you have an email I could send them to, then please PM me since it will be easier to send the pictures as an email attachment.

Yes, we know - by 'we', I mean both me & Crazy Weavile, who has already ADMITTED to not being the best artist on the block. CUT HIM SOME SLACK.

I'm working on redesigning some of the Fakemon, but I have no scanner of my own, so it could be quite some time before even CW sees them. But that only gives me more time to work on them. :P I do seem to have quite the knack for naming them, though.

Noo! Not Bidoof! I'd rather have Zigzagoon, although I admit Bibarel has awesome abilities.

No offense to Skeetendo or anything, but those new tiles have a fairly decent lack of quality to them. The Mart and PC have very little detail in them, as well as an overly thick roof, and the sign and mountains look like they were just edited. In my opinion, they should really be touched up at the least, or replaced altogether.

Anyway, the Pokémon Stats screens look good. The new types should be a nice addition, but remember to balance them out with the other ones (if you haven't already). The text box and menu look alright, but some more shading should be added, to seem a little less flat.

It's not...
If you mean the 3rd version of DP, that would be Platinum.
Otherwise, proof please :P

Aw, but Wichu, Bidoof's so adorable. :P

Anyway, if anybody's seen Metadrek's current art, it's just an edited Muk with scrap metal stuck in it; I'm working on new concept art for it to make it a little less looking like a mere edit. Of course, as with probably all of my art (for a while, at least), someone may have to touch it up later. I've also got new concept art for Mentail - it's adorable. :P
