UPDATE 1.0

-Used Action Replay to hack in each individual Pokémon at level 5
-Trained all Pokémon to level 8
-Defeat first gym with ease
-Completed all the boring stuff in between Violet City and The Slowpoke Well
-Talked to Kurt and headed into the well
-Defeated Team Rocket goons and boss Proton
-Headed out of the well and saved the game in the Pokécenter
-Raised all Pokèmon to level 15

Update Sorry for delay been busy also was waiting for a Murkrow on the gts

Progress so far:

- Started From twinleaf town
- Chose my starter
- Got to Sangem town
- Traded over Glameow,Murkrow,Dustox
- Got to Jubilife city
- Got to Oreburgh city
- Got through Oreburgh mine
- Deafeted the gym leader
- Got to Floaroma town
- Got to Valley Windworks
- Deafeat Commander Mars
- Went through Eterna Forest
- Got to Eterna City
- Dustox destroyed the gym leader

Team so far:
lv 22 Glameow Fake-out Return Faint-Attack Hypnosis
lv 23 Dustox Gust Confusion Moonlight Harden
lv 24 Murkrow Wing-Attack Astonish Pursuit Nightshade


Total Badges 2/8

Will be trading the other 3 in after, I get the next badge. Also Next update will Be after I beat the 6th gym leader.

The Ones That Got Away: HeartGold Version

I made my way to Cianwood City, where I challenged Chuck. On the whole, he wasn't very hard. Luckily he missed every Hypnosis he tried to use, so his Focus Punch was a non issue.

Then, I quickly realized I forgot to scale the Lighthouse before going there. So I went back and cleared it out, flew back to Cianwood, flew back AGAIN, gave Jasmine the SecretPotion, and challenged her. She was more difficult than Chuck, as I expected. But I got through it.

Good luck and to answer your question, if you are going to do expert mode, you cant trade items over, but you can trade other pokemon over for your chosen team.

This is correct. I would prefer you let me answer questions pertaining to the challenge since I am in charge of it though.

BTW: I know I have used these, but it has been several years since I have played Pokemon, so I'd just like a random team to try :D

Unfortunately, complete the challenge at the moment. My DS's internet connection settings aren't working so I can't transfer Pokémon into the game. I'll have to find a solution.

If your router is capable, you could try setting up a guest network with no security. The DS will be able to connect and the main network will still be safe.

Small update to show that I am still in process of doing this challenge. I hadn't really gotten the time to do much of it but I'm hoping to try and pick up the pace from here on out. All that really happened is that I trained Hades to where he is mostly around the same level as the others as well as taking on Maylene. It was easy save for her Lucario who was a small problem but nothing I couldn't handle. Sally was able to defeat it at the end with a Aqua Jet. ♥ Currently making my way towards Pastoria where I can then face Crusher Wake.
