Alexis' eyes widened a little as Snype gave the rock a chomp and seemingly tasted it. She leaned a little forwards to take a sniff of it, trying to catch some kind of scent from it.
"Mmm... generic tasting but eh. It works." He added, causing Alexis to smile and shake her head. "Remind me never to get bitten by you. I could lose an arm!"

Daniel nodded his head a little, continuing forwards, squinting a little as he tried to look through the darkness to see… well, anything. The cave wasn't small enough for them to have to bend down to be able to walk through, but it wasn't exactly huge either. Daniel frowned a little, not liking what Mark was implying.

He might've been a bit reckless when he made the cave collapse, but he hadn't known if the ants could find them if they hid, or what they'd do to them. He was starting to feel a little bad for doing what he had done.
"Well, uhm… do you have a fire-type Pokémon? Or just one with a fire move? If you do, we'll be able to find out if there's an exit, you know… if you hold a flame up and it wavers, it means there's air coming from a certain direction."

He nodded a few times, glancing back at Mark, awaiting a reply, coming to a halt to wait and see if he did. It'd surprise him if he didn't have a well-balanced team, and a good team had a fire Pokémon, though of course, he couldn't know.

Lucia Francisco Bernavard

"Sure, I'll explore with you. It would help me get to know the school better after all." Lucia got up and held the exhausted Diana in one arm and petted her head. Samuel, Roberto, and Tyro got up as well, although Tyro was the only one that seemed to be chatting it up with Mienfoo.

Lucia smiled, "The Red Legion is a powerful group of Scizors that works for my family. Beginning with my great grandfather we have had Scizors constantly trained for one thing only, to protect us and our allies. Many people tend to hate lawyers, especially those that attempt to prove a man innocent of a crime. Many times we take on cases that can cause people to target us for one reason or another, mostly because we end up winning and freeing an innocent man. My great grandfather decided that the Bernavard should have protectors and he chose the Scizor species as those protectors. Any Scyther born into the Red Legion is evolved into a Scizor as soon as possible and from that moment onward they are trained in the art of combat, stealth, and protection. Roberto has taken the oath as has every other Scizor and so he will make sure that I will not die on his watch. Samuel I got when I was a small child and he was trained alongside Roberto. He too took the oath of the Red Legion and serves as my second guardian. It is a huge honor to be trained by the Red Legion and only a select few are ever promoted to personal bodyguard status."

Lucia smiled, "They have been taught loyalty and honor and uphold the Bernavard name. In fact, Roberto would rather die before a bullet could even touch me." She stated proudly.

Lucia sighed, "I don't know what class I'll be having tomorrow. I didn't get my schedule yet, but I highly doubt I'll be taking that class. I would rather want to take a class based around strategy. It would help Diana a lot." She petted the Aron again and noticed she was sound asleep. Lucia withdrew her back into her pokeball. "So, you just choose a hallway and I'll follow."

Mark shook his head. "Nah I don't have a fire Pokemon on me but its on my list. The pokemon you've seen are pretty much all I got on my team right now. Snype, Len, Commodore, my Porygon-2, and Able, the Ninjask. My team is still developing and I haven't caught much Pokemon which is why..."

Mark stopped for a moment and looked up, having heard a noise. There it was... a Gligar! Seemingly sneaking up on them. As soon as the Gligar noticed it was spotted it swooped down to the ground in front of the group of Pokemon, leaping straight for Snype. The Gligar caught Snype by surprise and was pounced by the Gligar and pinned him to the ground. The Gligar didn't attack though, oddly enough. It just stared at Snype's big gem like eyes with a content smile.

"That's the one I want... go on Len! Get a jump on it!" Mark said. Len nodded prepared himself for battle. While the Gligar was distracted, Len fired a Bubblebeam toward it. The Gligar tumbled over and rolled into one of the walls, giving a sharp glare toward Len and got up onto it's feet.

"Uh oh, you get her mad Len." Snype said.

"Her?" Len asked in confusion. The Gligar swooped over to Len stung him with her stinger. "Gah!" Len said as he hit her away from him. Unfortunately for him, Len was poisoned by the attack. "Ughh... don't... feel so good..." Len muttered.

"Len are you alright?" Mark asked. Len of course nodded, not wanting to go down so easily in another battle. His motivation for battle wasn't exactly the highest at the moment but he was aiming to impress right now. He wasn't going to let this Gligar get away. The Gligar got another attack in as she used quick attack on Len but he wasn't going to let up. Quick attack was fairly weak anyways.

The Gligar was certainly weakened from bubble beam. It was a ground type after all so Mark didn't want to risk hurting it any further...

"Len, use Mind Reader!" Mark said, putting his strategy to use. Len kept still and focused his mind on the Gligar's movements as he prepared for his next attack. Snype was tempted to help but he didn't want to overwhelm the Gligar and make her think about escaping.

While Len was concentrating, Gligar used Fury Cutter and slashed it's claws on Len several times. Len was weakened, but if this worked, then he wouldn't have to continue fighting.

"Alrighty, Use Hypnosis!" Mark said. Since Len used Mind Reader, Hypnosis was going to no doubt hit Gligar. Concentrated on where Gligar would be, the spiral on Len's stomach gave off the illusion as if it were spinning.

"Alexis, don't look! I don't want ya sleeping on me." Snype warned.

Gligar was fullly entranced by the hypnotic waves the attack was giving off. She quickly fell right to sleep, flat on her stomach.

Mark didn't want to take any chances. He decided to use a Great Ball for this Pokemon. "Alright, this thing is mine!" Mark said cheerfully as he threw his Great Ball toward Gligar. It was quickly absorbed by a red light straight into the ball. After wiggling three times, the Gligar was successfully captured.

Len gave off a sigh as he sat down on his behind, still being weakened by the Poison. "So... whatcha think Alexis?" He said, hoping she was at least impressed by his fighting. Mark ran over to Len and quickly sprayed an Antidote on him.

Mark cut himself off, which made Daniel raise a brow a little. As Mark's eyes were drawn towards the ceiling, Daniel looked up as well, just in time to see a shadow swoop down and slam into Snype, knocking him to the ground. This startled Daniel, causing him to jump a little. "… The Gligar!"

Alexis' eyes widened as Snype was jumped, still standing on all four, her cheeks began sparking as she prepared her attack, but it wouldn't be a good idea, what with the Pokémon pinning down Snype right now. That was when Len began attacking.
Alexis followed the battle with wide eyes, but as Len was stung by the Gligar, she called out to him. "Len!" She seemed ready to leap into battle, but Daniel's voice called out behind her. "No! This is Mark's battle, we can't interfere! Besides, he knows what he's doing!"

Daniel had seen Alexis ready to pounce, electricity coursing across her back in arches between her body and tail, but at the sound of his voice, Alexis 'powered down' again, though she didn't take her eyes off of the fight, ready to jump in should he be very injured. Every time he took a hit, she winced, her tail rigid in the air behind her, jerking faintly left and right in a twitchy manner.

As Len used Hypnosis, Alexis did as Snype suggested and looked away until she heard a thump, turning her gaze back on the fight. Seeing the Gligar move into the great ball, she let out a soft sigh of relief, moving over to Len to look up at him with worry.
"So... whatcha think Alexis?" Len asked her, looking down at her. He looked terribly beaten up, but thankfully Mark was there with an antidote.

"… You took a lot of hits in there. Are you sure you're okay to keep going…?" She looked him over with a worried frown, which soon turned into a faint smile. "You can really take a beating, I'll give you that… any normal Pokémon would've at least flinched from all of that."

Daniel breathed out a sigh of relief, smiling once more, he went over to give Mark's shoulder a pat while he tended to Len. "That was a pretty great strategy. And you got the Pokémon you wanted! Nicely done." He smiled a little wider, though starting to feel just a hint of jealousy. He had only ever had Alexis, not that there was anything wrong with that, it was just… he wanted a full team. He wanted a group of Pokémon he could rely on, and for them to rely on him. He wanted a family.

His eyes turned to Alexis, seemingly very worried for Len, which made him smile. Right now, expanding his team wasn't really important.

Len chuckled as he continued to catch his breath from the battle. The antidote was helping him recover from the poisoning thankfully but of course he was a little worn out. It wasn't as bad as going through a full battle though so he'd be able to still keep walking.

"Haha, oh I flinched. I may look like all muscle but I'm not all that sturdy I'm willing to admit that much." Len replied. Snype chuckled a bit.

"Kehe, aw comon Len at least try to exagerate some details! Your not gonna impress anyone being that honest!" Snype teased. Len would have sprayed him again but was too tired to try it. He simply shrugged.

Mark smiled down at Len and went to pick up the Pokeball that caught Gligar. He couldn't think of a nickname yet. He figured he'd decide one when he went to a Pokemon Center.

"She'll surely be a great addition to the team... well now that that's out of the way... That strategy... it's nice and all but I don't think it's exactly healthy if Len is taking a free hit when I'm using Mind Reader. I need something more effective. Unfortunately, coming up with strategies like that isn't exactly a big strong suit of mine. I'm still learning after all." Mark said.

Nika Valentine

Nika was just about to abandon her search for wild pokemon to battle against, kicking one last rock into the grass, when a horribly loud screech came from the area she had been kicking the rocks towards. It seemed she'd finally managed to upset a pokemon enough to warrant its attention. Reaching into her bag she withdrew Paras' pokeball and released her, the light from the pokeball collating into her small form.

"Paras?" The pokemon looked around questioningly, wide eyes innoecent. Nika couldn't help but feel a moment of doubt over what she was about to do. In one day she had disturbed this pokemon from its home, attacked it, captured it, put it through gruelling training... and now? Now she was going to force it to fight again, force it to evolve into a form it may find unbearable... or may not even truly exist in.

But it would get stronger. And with strength came safety, security. With strength came the ability to enforce your beliefs, to determine the course of not only your own life but also those around you. With strength no one could make you feel uncomfortable or outlandish. With strength no one would dare attack you - and any attempts would prove a mistake. Yes. This was what was right. For Paras? Perhaps. For Nika? Yes.

"It's okay Paras, just another battle. Launch a Psybeam into the grass just there." Nika instructed calmly, pointing to where she had heard the screech.
"Para ra!" The crustaceon pokemon concentrated until its eyes began to glow, launching a multicoloured beam into the grass. There was the cry of several pokemon as it hit.

Nika waited for a moment to see what would emerge from the grass, and just as she was about to order another Psybeam, a pair of disgruntled looking Aipom leapt out towards her and Paras. Not what she had been expected, but it would do...

The first Aipom bounded towards Paras and leapt into the air, twisting its body and lashing its tail back and forth. Paras cringed and scuttled backwards, intimidated by the display of strength.

Tail whip... and the second one?

Nika glanced over to the second Aipom, which seemed to be hanging back around the patch of grass they had just burst out of... why? Was it waiting to see if its companion was successful and back it up only if necessary? Odd behaviour for a wild pokemon.

"Paras," she said, bringing her attention back to the matter at hand. "Counter attack with Metal Claw."

Paras gave itself a shake to ignore the intimidation of the enemy Aipom and drew back its right claw. The claw began to glow white just before Paras lashed out with it, catching Aipom across the back and knocking it to the ground.

"Again."

Paras struck out again, this time backhanding(clawing?) Aipom across the head, knocking the pokemon out completely. It hadn't been very strong, though Nika had to concede she may have hit it with a stone or two earlier... there wasn't time to think of much else though, as the second Aipom let out another ear-splitting cry. Although the sound cut right through Nika it had a much more noticeable effect on Paras, setting the dual grass and bug type to shaking on the spot.

Screech. Between that and Tail Whip, we may have a problem...

"Leech Seed. Now."

Although Paras hadn't taken any damage yet, the cumulative effects of Tail Whip and Screech meant that her defense was at an extremely low level. Any direct attack would be devestating, but hopefully the restorative effects of Leech Seed would help to mitigate that. Paras opened one of her claws and directed it towards the second Aipom as it began to charge forwards. It slapped its tail towards Paras in another Tail Whip attack, apparently their strategy was to bottom out Paras' defense and then finish her with one strike.

Suprisingly complex for wild pokemon.

Perhaps if Nika weren't so determined to be a bug specialist one of these Aipom would prove a worthy addition to her team, but for now all that awaited these pokemon was defeat. Paras launched an innocous brown seed from the inside of its claw at Aipom, which attempted to knock it away with the 'hand' at the end of its tail. As soon as it made contact the seed unleashed a network of thin roots that snaked their way along Aipom's tail, lashing on tightly. The puzzled pokemon stared at its tail for a second, shaking it a few times to try and dislodge the seed and its roots.

The roots briefly glowed a sinister red and Aipom cried out in pain, while Paras' eyes flashed a matching red for a second. Paras, at full health, didn't recover but Aipom still received damage. Enraged, Aipom leapt forward and brought its paw down across Paras' face in retalion, a simple Scratch. Normally not an attack that would signal the end of a battle - not past those held by beginning trainers at least - but with Paras' defense so low Nika was slightly concerned...

Paras seemed to be devestated by the attack, falling backwards and wailing in pain. Although not unsympathetic, Nika had no time for useless crying. Better to act quickly and end the source of pain than complain about it.

"Paras! Stop crying and use Metal Claw!"

Paras, remembering how the other pokemon earlier had responded to Nika so quickly was determined to do the same and quickly slashed at Aipom with a glowing white claw. The purple monkey was thrown backwards and once again the roots wrapped around its tail glowed red. Aipom held its lips tightly pressed together, not wanting to cry in pain again. This time Paras received the full benefits of Leech Seed, feeding on her opponents suffering and regaining strength.

The Aipom bounded towards Paras, and just as Nika was about to call an attack, it veered off and began charging towards the source of its troubles. Nika. This had never happened to her before, she had never had a wild pokemon ignore her own pokemon for favour of attacking her. The shock of the oncoming pokemon, relatively small as it might be, left her speechless and immobile.

It leapt into the air and readied to use a Scratch attack on Nika, the dexterous tail trailing out behind it, when it was flung violently to the side by a multicoloured beam of light. Nika's gaze followed as it struck the ground with a sick thud, out cold. Looking back to Paras she was able to just catch the fading colours of Psybeam in its eyes.

"Paras... thank you..." She said lamely.
"Paras." She replied simply with a happy expression on her face before her entire body began to glow white.

Evolution. This was the first time one of her pokemon would go through that fabled process, one she was so fascinated with. Especially in bug pokemon who traditionally evolved so early, and with such revolutionary changes. It was a process she felt she had undergone once herself, and would be eager to again... and Paras was undergoing it right now. This pokemon would go through a change evolving it of its free will, because it had made the choice to save her.

Tides of emotions threatened to overwhelm her. Heart hammering against her chest, throat closing, lungs about to burst, vision blurring... the world was splitting in half around her, the ground was tilting to meet the sky...

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

Following these strict mental commands, the world began to piece itself back together. Those emotions were pushed back where they belonged, a small point of reference used to interpret other peoples actions. Her vision cleared, her heart slowed. And the glowing white light was fading from the evolved Parasect... she had missed it.

Parasect was much larger than Paras, with longer (seemingly more jointed) legs. Its claws were larger and the two mushrooms on its back had grown to become a dominant feature. But the most striking change were the blank, glassy eyes. It was... beautiful.

"Paras? Parasect?" She asked, taking a tentative step forwards.
"Pa... ra... sect..."
"That's right... Parasect. Do you still know me?"
"Para..."
"Good... then come here please."

There was hesitation. Would this pokemon still respond to her commands as a trainer, if the researchers were right and it was now nothing more than home to a semi-intelligent fungus? And if it could understand her, would it feel the same loyalty Paras had just displayed? One way or another, her doubts were erased as the Parasect scuttled over. The longer legs made its movements much more bug-like.

"Excellent." Nika nodded, regaining her cool demeanour. With her panic attack behind her she could appreciate that she had been briefly hysterical. All in all this had been an exceptional day. Reluctantly she recalled Parasect back to her pokeball - she could finish admiring her later - and immediately regretted it as the grass began to rustle again. She prepared herself for another battle when a third, much smaller Aipom made its way out of the grass and over to the nearest of its fallen parents, nudging them with its tail morosely.

Nika tilted her head, her glasses flashing in the light, as she watched the baby Aipom begin to wail. So that was why one of them had stayed back, hanging close to the grass. It had been protecting their young. It perhaps also explained their reserved strategy, they had been hoping to scare off their foe without having to really engage it.

"It's okay." She said. Her voice brought the baby Aipoms attention to her. It seemed terrified. "They'll wake up soon. And I've already beaten them, so my Paras evolved into a Parasect. I don't need to battle you today."

With that she placed Parasect's pokeball back into her bag and turned away, setting off back towards the Academy. Another successful outing.

Maxwell Leggingsteele
Academy Grounds ---> Oak Town
------------------------------

Maxwell wasn't quite satisfyed with Genevieve's answer, "some news from home" didn't really give him a good overview of how she felt. Maybe her mother had fallen ill? Maybe one of her grandparents had died? Maxwell wanted her to tell him, because if she didn't, how was he even gonna attempt to comfort her? He had to just try again later, he guessed... So he just frowned for a moment and shrugged,

"Well you know that I'm always willing to help ya' out." he said before reverting back to his normal, cheerful mood. However, he stopped for a moment when she mentioned that Weedle would evolved into Beedrill if he trained it enough. Well, DUH! He went inside his mind. Of course he knew about that! Weedles were some of the most common Bug-types in both Johto and Kanto, he had observed them thousands of times! Besides, what Bug-mainiac didn't know about a Weedle, huh? But insted of saying all this, since he wasn't really of a d***ish nature, Maxwell instead said in a cheerful tone,

"Oh yeah, I actually know about that. In fact, I'm a pretty big Bug-mainiac, so I know a lot about Weedles! The sting of a Weedle isn't lethal and far from dangerous, if you would become stung by ten or more simultaniously, that's another story." he paused, "So I'll be fine!"

Maxwell happily accepted Genevieve's Pokéball with a "Thank you!", how lucky he was that she happened to have some extras! The teen raised his right arm and carefully got into a "throwing-position". Shinobi looked up at him and suddenly got a panicked expresion on his face, as if he had just remembered something important.

"Wee, dle, dle!"[No wait, stop!] he said and tried to cross his foremost pair of feet to show that he wanted Maxwell to stop what he was doing immideatly.

"Huh?" Maxwell said, "Don't you wanna come with us?" he was confused. Shinobi had obviously seemed to agree with Quillie on something, and regarding how Quillie always seemed to want to get stronger that was probably it. So why did the Weedle change his mind now?

"Weedle, weedle, wee!"[We must get to Oak Town first! There I can clear some things up!] Shinobi said and started to crawl in the direction of Oak Town. Maxwell and his Pokémon just shrugged and started to follow the bug.

Danielle Accola - Academy Cafeteria, Classroom Hall (?)

The girls got up from the table and walked towards the exit of the cafeteria. Danielle listened to Lucia's explanation of the Red Legion. She was able to learn more about the group being mentioned a few times at her old private school, as well as the origin of Lucia's own Scizor, Roberto. It was fascinating to know where the Pokemon came from, and how Scizor met Lucia. It was also mentioned that Samuel, Lucia's Absol, is also part of the Red Legion as well, and serves as a second guardian. It was amazing for Danielle to see Lucia with not one, but two guardian Pokemon.

Danielle only considers Mienfoo her protector, even though it's her only Pokemon. She had concentrated so much on her studies, and her interests, that she never had the chance to explore and catch Pokemon herself. Erika, the Celadon Gym Leader, encouraged her to go outside the city to find a Pokemon for her to train. But her priorities were set for school. At once, Danielle is hoping to change that.

It was still beautiful outside, and the school grounds were still filled with random battles and students watching them. The girls and the Pokemon walked right past them, and found the very first building.

"Hmm, this building..." Danielle reads the plaque. She opens the door and finds a semi-empty hallway. They both walked in and saw most of the classrooms with doors shut. Some of them had their lights on, and some with lights off. It was like a university building. Some of the classrooms had special desks, different from her old school. She then looked at her schedule and saw room 301. She looked from the window and glanced at the classroom. She imagined her first class in there.

"This is where I'm having my first class...Grass & Bug. Here I'll get to learn all about grass and bug types. I'm so excited." Danielle exclaimed.

Mienfoo saw a wide door in front. He pulled Danielle's bag and pointed at the door. What could it be? Is it a special room? Auditorium? It was up to the girls to find out. They walked up to that door and saw that there was no sign. Danielle was very tempted to find out what it was.

She turned the knob, and the door cracked open.

Megan Sandoval - Town Streets

Megan was restless. She couldn't stay in her apartment any longer. She wanted to explore what Oak Island is like. It was still daytime, yet she hasn't eaten ever since she left Striaton. So she decided to change her outfits to a more sunny-like appearance, and left the complex.

"There needs to be good restaurants here." Megan told Bree and Mimi, walking beside her. "Something with good food, and amazing view of the ocean."

"Bayyyyy." Mimi replied, enjoying the beach's breeze blowing at her.

"The weather is outstanding, by the way. Hey, what do you guys want? PokeBits or do you guys want to share a salad?" She asked her two Pokemon.

"Espeon!" Bree happily cried. Mimi was also excited as well.

They stopped at a burger restaurant. It was a good thing that they allowed certain sized Pokemon inside, both Mimi and Bree were able to get in just fine. Megan turned back and saw the Academy entrance not too far from the restaurant. The gates were open, so this was her next destination.

→ pokémon center

Xylo hadn't ventured back to Oak Town's Pokémon Center immediately. Instead he had gone as quickly as he could to the Raikou dorms to change. He took off his still wet black clothes and the not so white anymore vest and bow tie. With a dissatisfied grunt, he pulled on a pair of dark gray pants, a white shirt and a matching dark gray vest. This time, he left the uppermost buttons of the shirt open, instead of putting a tie or something there. It was his way of dressing more loosely. He also changed shoes, from the black fine ones to a pair of white sneakers. It wasn't how he liked to be perceived, but perhaps it would be best if he tried to not look so snobby here. It was just a gut feeling he had. And this time, he did put on his horribly yellow jacket as well.

All the time, Princess had fluttered around him in the dorm room. She was very interested in the belt and the newly filled up pokéball, that Xylo still wore. He ignored her, however, and eventually moved out again. "Gotta heal you two up," was his reason. He didn't see Arizona or any of the others anywhere.

The town was still filled with people seemingly just a little bit older than himself. Apparently he was one of the younger students. That didn't matter; he could still be the strongest! Just as he thought that, he walked absently up to the sliding doors of the pokémon center, just as someone else walked out...

BUMP!

Xylo's lightly bent forward head bounced into the chest of the slightly taller guy. He looked up, confused. The first thing he saw was that the boy was dressed in black, with black hair and brown eyes. He couldn't be much older than Xylo, maybe a few years. Nevertheless, the guy had walked right into Xylo and according to the little blonde boy, this wasn't his fault, it was the black haired boy's fault!

"Why aren't you looking where you're going?" he asked in an irritated voice, rubbing his head even though it didn't really hurt.

Princess the Butterfree flew low, looking at the Buizel that stood alongside the boy, with curious eyes. 'Hello,' she said politely.

Alexis smiled and shook her head a little, letting out a little breath, her tail seemingly starting to calm down as well, rather than twitching around all over the place. "Well, I'm glad you're both alright…" She turned her attention to Snype, tilting her head a little to the side. "How come she didn't attack you?"

"Poisonous Pokémon are always terrible to fight against, but they're great to have on your own team." Daniel glanced up along the cave tunnel. It looked like they still had quite a long way to go before they'd reach any kind of exit, and he didn't want to meet anymore hostile Pokémon. Especially not in this tight a space. He gave Mark's shoulder a pat before motioning for him to come along as he began walking onwards, Alexis quickly following along, still providing light.

"Well, you could get him some kind of ability that'll give him a chance to not be hit while using it. Like I did with Alexis and her Double Team, while she was doing Tail Whip, yeah? Not sure what kind of move he could learn, but it's an idea."

He went quiet, somewhat thoughtfully, as he kept going through the tunnel, it slowly starting to evening out into a more straight move, rather than going upwards. After a little while, Daniel spoke up again. "Once we get outside, I think I'll take a little break and do a bit of drawing, then head to Oak Town and see about buying a Pokégear. You don't have to wait around with me though, I'm sure you'd want to go and get your new friend healed up."

He smiled back at Mark to show that he meant it, even if he was halfly hoping to be able to sit down and draw while Mark took care of Len, or relaxed or something. Drawing was always much nicer when someone was there to talk to. At least most of the time.

~Oak Town Pokemon Center

Chris and Jet are heading to the Pokemon Center.

Chris walked through the doors. The Pokemon Center wasn't that much elegant. But it is still quaint.

Chris returned Jet for a while and gave him with Hydro and Note to Nurse Joy.

"Nurse Joy, Can you heal my Pokemon?" Chris asked.

"Of course!" She said.

After a while, Chris got back his Pokemon from Nurse Joy.

"Come on out, Jet!" Chris said as he flung Jet's Pokeball up into the air.

The Pokeball opened and the quiet Buizel came out of it.

"So Jet, let's sightsee before we head on to the academy?" Chris asked Jet.

"..." Jet replied.

"Hmm... Why won't you talk Jet? I know that you are awesome, but you don't have to be quiet with me! You can tell me anything!" Chris said.

"..." Jet uttered.

"...Fine. Let's go, Jet!" Chris, defeated, went towards the door when...

BUMP!

A little blonde boy wearing a yellow jacket, dark gray pants, a white shirt, and a dark gray vest just bumped into Chris' chest.

It didn't hurt much though. But the boy looked somewhat irritated.

"Why aren't you looking where you're going?" the boy said.

"Sorry, I didn't look where I was going..." Chris said. He usually has a big temper. Since he was in a good mood, the flames of fury didn't came.

While the humans were talking, The boy's Butterfree came to Jet. Jet was curious. No one has ever did that to Jet except Chris.

"Hello," the Butterfree said.

"...Bui." (...Hi.) Jet... REPLIED?!

"Sorry, I didn't look where I was going..." the black haired boy said.

Xylo stopped rubbing his head and raised an eyebrow. Was he dumb or what? That wasn't a reply! Or maybe he too was in the Raikou dorm, like all the strangest people here... But he didn't wear any jacket. Since even Xylo had bothered taking his on, he was now a bit annoyed with this boy not having one. Could it be that some trainers didn't belong to a dorm?

"It's alright," he grunted. "How come you don't have a colorful jacket on you? Don't you belong to a student's dorm?"

Princess landed beside Buizel, happy that it had replied to her greeting. 'You look strong!' she said, and meaning it. Duke and Monk were able pokémon, and Duke liked to flex once in a while, but neither of them really had the strong, tough appearance. This Buizel had, according to the Butterfree. 'I'm Princess, nice to meet you.'

Lucia Francisco Bernavard

Lucia just walked around with Danielle and then an idea popped into her head. She did have Jack's number already saved to her contacts, it would be wonderful for Danielle to meet a new friend. Lucia took out her phone and called up Jack. The phone rang for a bit and finally Lucia was able to speak. "Hey Jack. I was wondering if we could meet up. I just made a new friend and if you aren't busy with anything I would like you to meet her too. We're in one of the building around here, I'm not sure which one but we can meet up with you at the Suicune Dorms in just a few minutes."

Tyro was still chatting it up with Mienfoo, asking about how strong he was and whether or not Tyro would be able to smack him down in a battle. Roberto was just silent throughout the whole ordeal but Samuel finally turned to the Combusken, "For once in your short life would just be silent !? That's all I ask!"

Tyro was silent.... for a few seconds and then continued to chat it up with the other fighter. The conversation was cut off when Mienfoo saw a door that was cracked open and showed interest in it. Tyro smiled, "Dude! There could be a cool room in there!"

Samuel sighed, "Or a room that students should keep out of. It could be restricted access."

Lucia wasn't really paying attention to Danielle right now as she was still on the phone with Jack, but Tyro was. "Open it! Open it!" The excited Combusken cried out.

Nika Valentine

Nika had been fully intending to make her way back to the Academy, but now that she thought of it she had no particular reason to. Parasect could do with a trip to the Pokemon Center, but it wasn't urgent. And there was one in town anyway. Considering the bad luck she had experienced with finding another student to battle at the Academy, perhaps the town was a more sensible destination. Even though she had just evolved Parasect, her other pokemon still needed more battle experience.

With this new resolution in mind Nika changed her course for Oak Town, cutting across the fields rather than making a direct line for the road. She would make faster time this way, and after her display of power against the pair of Aipom there wasn't a high chance any wild pokemon here would be bold enough to attack her. Nevertheless, she kept the egg case nestled tightly against her chest.

When she finally hit the road, now only a short distance from the town, she was distracted by the sound of something approaching...

"Wee... wee... wee..."

Puzzled she looked around to try and identify the source of the noise, and only located it when she turned her gaze down towards the roads surface. There, wriggling its way towards her, was a Weedle. What on earth was a Weedle doing in the road? Using the road? It was very uncharacteristic...

Weedle were a very well known pokemon to those interested in Bug types, but in her home Unova region they were exceptionally rare. It was her first time seeing one in the flesh, and that left her with only one directive in mind.

I have to capture it.

It would make a fine addition to her team, she thought as she pulled a pokeball from her bag. Parasect was still injured, but that still left her with three pokemon to choose from.

"Weedle. Prepare yourself, I'm going to capture you." She declared formally.

Shinobi the Weedle
Academy Grounds ---> Oak Town
------------------------------

Shinobi crawled past Maxwell and the others with a surprising speed for a bug his size, he just had to get to Oak Town fast so that he could clear up his business and then join Maxwell's team. As he crawled on the road, Shinobi heard something seemingly coming from his side. It was a voice. The Weedle looked to where he had heard the voice and quickly saw a girl standing there. She said something about preparing for battle and capture... Wait... She was going to capture him? Wasn't he supposed to go with Maxwell to get stronger? Nontheless, it couldn't hurt to see what this girl got going for her. Maybe he would be better off training under her?

"Wee!"[Alright!] Shinobi exclaimed and assumed a battle stance, "Weedle, wee, dle, dle!"[Prepare to meet Shinobi, the greatest Weedle that has ever lived in this universe!]

Maxwell Leggingsteele
Academy Grounds ---> Oak Town
------------------------------

Maxwell was a bit surprised when Shinobi darted off. Man, that Weedle was fast! The teen smiled, this specimen seemd a little out of the ordinary in contrast to other Weedle. Maybe it would turn out to be a greater battler than he had first imagined? Anyway, he decided to follow it at a faster pace.

"Shinobi seems to have gone before us, I'm just gonna catch up to him so that nothing bad happens, okay?" he said to Genevieve before he went after the bug.

Nika Valentine

Nika, unable to understand pokemon speech other than that they were saying their own names, simply nodded at the Weedles apparent readiness to battle. Clearly it was an intelligent pokemon, able to achknowledge the wisdom of joining a strong trainer like herself. She released her own pokemon from its pokeball, her Larvesta. It had been difficult to obtain, and a source of almost as much strife between her mother and herself as her Joltik was.

"Larvesta, u-"
"Veeesta... veeeesta!"

Nika looked down. Larvesta, upon her release, had immediately wriggled over and started cuddling up to Nika's foot.

"Larvesta."
"Veeesta, vee... lar?"
"Larvesta, we're having a battle."
"Larv!"

Larvesta wriggled back to her original spot, facing Shinboi the Weedle.

"Larvesta vest vesta!" [Sorry. I just love Nika so much! You will too! After we fight we can be friends. Yay! Friends!] Said the Larvesta. She seemed... very affectionate.

Shinobi the Weedle
Academy Grounds ---> Oak Town
------------------------------

Shinobi watched the girl with determined eyes as she let out her first Pokémon. It was something that he had never seen before... It was a worm, much like him, except thicker, darker and with a lot of white hair accompanied by five red antennae. Shinobi was confident that this was a fellow Bug-type, maybe this girl specialized in that type? If that was the case, she would probably be more capable of unleashing his true potential! Whatever that was...

"Weedle, wee..."[Nika eh...] he said. [Well, it will be a pleasure to see if you are worthy of training me! I'll let you know that there are more trainers out there, waiting to catch me! In fact, one of them should probably arrive here at any second... But I'll test your strenght first!] Shinobi continued to ramble on. Then, the stinger on his head started to glow in a purple aura again.
[You shall face my mighty stinger! It will determine your strenght to see if you truly are great enough to train me!] the Weedle shouted again and started to sprint towards Nika's Pokémon, intending to stab it square in the face.

Nika Valentine

This Weedle seemed extremely talkative, and even Nika couldn't help but wonder what it was the little pokemon was saying. Perhaps all the chatter was a distraction, because Nika was paying so much attention to its seemingly endless conversation that she hadn't been expecting the Weedle to actually launch the first attack.

Weedle's horn hit Larvesta directly, forcing Larvesta back. The attack must have been a Poison Sting, but Larvesta was lucky enough to escape being poisoned.

"Ember." Nika commanded and the tips of Larvesta's five whorled horns erupted in flame, each small flame shooting out towards the Weedle. Nika would have to be careful, fire type moves would be super effective against this Weedle. It would probably only be safe to use Ember once.

Jack Jacobs
Academy Grounds

As Jack began to set off aimlessly once more around the academy walking by battles and endless chatter between students, none which interested Jack or Blade. Jack's mind was running on many things, three unused pokemon on his belt, untested and unproven so it was a little hard to walk around confidently. Jack still had Blade and Blaze with him and even Shadow was there the newly evolved haunter who was really growing on him.

Walking beside Blade though made Jack feel assured of himself, and he could do nothing but smile before being interrupted by the ring of his phone. Jack searched around frantically, looking through his pocket and then into his bag until he did find it stuffed under some books. He was rarely called and when he was it was usually bad news so Jack wasn't necessarily looking forward to picking it up.

"Hey Jack. I was wondering if we could meet up" the voice coming from the phone was familiar and it turned out to be Lucia the girl Jack had met much earlier in the day "Yeah no problem" Jack responded before walking off towards where was specified by Lucia over the phone. Upon arrival to the building and looking down the hallway there was no mistaking it, Jack spotted Lucia surrounded by her three pokemon from earlier and there was another pokemon as well, a Mienfoo.

Jack slowly approached Lucia and the other girl at the door with Blade walking with him side by side "Hey"

Shinobi the Weedle
Academy Grounds ---> Oak Town
------------------------------

Shinobi jumped back after he had hit the opposing Pokémon with his attack. He had hoped that the opponent would've been poisoned but alas, so was not the case. After that something peculiar happened, the other Bug-type had... shot out flames?! B-b-but t-that wasn't something a Bug-type was supposed to do! It couldn't be BOTH a Bug and Fire-type, that would just be unrealistic! But then again he hadn't seen a whole lot of other Bug-types besides other Weedles and Caterpies...

The flame struck Shinobi as he pondered about his opponent's typing, engulfing him in flames. The Weedle let out a pained scream and started to run around in panic, not looking where he ran. After a while of running in circles, or that's what he thought that he did, Shinobi bumped into something.

"Shinobi! There you are! I was a bit worried, what is happening here?"

It was Maxwell, it seemed like he had caught up to them. The brown-haired teen looked at Nika for a moment, expecting an answer.
