Ur point is correct bt lord arceus would never create legendaries who would destroy the world, they cant be evil frm d beginning bt they can be made evil by someone..

I think the idea of maybe maybe multiple evil teams like RSE would be cool. I also like the idea of genetics in this game taking a role. I'd like to see more than 8 gyms, and 2 regions. That would be awesome! Each region would have their own climate and evil team striving for to take control of the world be their own means. One team could be wanting to create the ultimate pokemon through genetics, and the other could be an an ancient alliance wanting to re-awaken the ancient pokemon they praise to take over the world. Prophosies foretell a child to stop them.. then blah blah blah xD

Some people seem to be forgetting that Mewtwo's manipulation by Team Rocket was anime only...it's not canon in game!

Anyways I hope we have two teams. I like Piplup's idea of an ancient pokemon...
Perhaps the legends in this game are ancient legendary pokemon which somehow died out due to an unknown cause (third version mascot?) and are revived using the advancements in the fossil reviving machine throughout the past five generations.

Historical Themes

Every generation has explained the origins and history in the pokemon world. Generation 1 covers the history how Pokemon originated with the fact directing to mew being the Ancestor of most known Pokemon. Generation 2, I don't know, LOL. Generation 3 explains how the continents and seas were created. Generation 4 explains the creation of the pokemon world and Generation 5 explains the relation with pokemon and humans.

What history lesson are we going to learn this Generation 6?

All I hope from the story of pokemon X and Y is that it takes longer than the avg time (30 hours) that way if nintendo's coming up with a follow up, it'll give them some time to do so.

Either light and dark, or the earth and sky. idk. But by the picture we got of one of the legendarys, it looked heavy on dark type, so maybe a new light type or a normal type?

Well, there have been constant rumors of connections to chromosomes and such, and personally, story-wise, I'd like to see this:

>Longer metagame time concerning the plot.

>A deeper, more serious storyline akin to B/W, but just slightly more serious. And, by that, I mean having the villains (Peons especially) be less comical.

>The origins of Man explained, along with our co-habitation with Pokemon.

>Some sort of personal struggle for the player, either one that could branch the story into multiple end results, or one that will leave us with a lingering sense of "What if?" after the credits role.

The evil team might be trying to use the legendary Pokémon to change their DNA structure to something they can potentially use to destroy the region. Just a thought.

Speaking of Storyline, isn't it about time we have a longer post-game plot. Mostly after beating the league, we are asked small tasked then we go do things as we please. It would give people much interest and encourage people to continue playing after the league when the previously inaccessible areas have a small story to it.

I'm still going by my prediction that the story will be about the evil team stealing Pokemon DNA to use it on themselves to gain their powers to take over the world as the superior specimens.

I think it'll be nice if the story was expanded, with more story added between each badge and the league as well, maybe add some side journeys in between.

Choose your adventure

In generation 6, i would like to actually be able to choose my adventure rather being forced to do specific things. We should be able to join the villains and have several different endings depending on your actions. We should be able to interact with wild pokemon rather than having four basic options followed by more options. For example, we should be able to weaken pokemon through other methods than brute force. Trainers should be able to use words to convince pokemon to join them instead of bashing them into submission. It would be great if we encounter our starter pokemon and talk them into joining you. Pokestars Studios is the closest thing we have to choose your adventure and I would love it if it could be expanded.

You do realise this is a game designed for children right? Game Freak are never going to make a Pokemon game where you play as villains. Do you know how grief parents would give them for having a protagonist that promotes crime?

I do like the idea that you can obtain Pokemon without using the regular method. It's already been done in spin-off games so it should be fine and it would be a lot easier to catch Beldum/Metang/Metagross.

well by it being a game for kids they wouldn't do that because stuff like that could mess with a kid's mind

for example: say you have a really young kid who really loves the series and you're able to join team rocket (a bunch of thugs and thieves) and it just so happens team rocket might be their favorite part about the series, and they use team rocket as roles models ect. it might turn them into a thug or a thief.

True wings, but we can only hope they make a teen version where you become the villains.

It would be an interesting concept if you could choose your own adventure, but the main Pokémon games have always been about collecting 8 gym badges, defeating the villainous team and then defeating the Champion of the Pokémon League.

But I think being able to choose different paths in which way you'd like to go, such as joining the evil team would be nice... not that it would probably happen though. How about something in which you can only do once in the game? Where you actually choose a certain command or something and at the end... the person gives you a different item, depending on which command you chose.

And as for being able to weaken wild Pokémon through words to convince them to join... I really don't see this happening, but it would be nice to have something like that, but I think it should be left to the scripts in the game, like how Zorua joined you in B/W if you had a spare Poké Ball and a Celebi. And also... the anime pretty much explains that Pokémon like to have a little challenge to strengthen themselves before they can be caught, almost like as if they're playing a little game, like how some of Ash's Pokémon did. The same thing would also apply to the games themselves. ;)

I guess that's kind of expected though, that eventually each major point in the game would continue and enhance the story in some way, really. :3

actually it is in the game, in fire red there is the evidence that shows both team rocket and blaine used the mansion to create mewtwo. It was the lab originally hence why there is the diaries about mew.

Aw genetics, the moment I heard your sweet words I had to research this game. As a game theorist I take huge interest in just the little things that other's haven't took notice and yes there is more then likely a chance this games storyline is deeper then it gets. This region is heavly based off of Europe, from the landmarks all the way down to a little sheep. Why sheep you may ask ? Well heard of Dolly..? If you have this was the first animal in real life to ever have been cloned and isn't it funny that we see a DNA sign in the japaness logo and that X and Y are based off chromosomes ? Ha ! Ohh I'm not done either, so you remember Sylveon ? well isn't it funny how she's going to appear in PK25 and how the 16'th movie is called "Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo's Awakening" Both these pokemon were made by humans through trying to clone or change. So all I can say is genetics don't sound to far from my mind. Hell there's still more research I can do to prove my point more, however this is just my theory though >3<

Well if there ended up being two teams, like Magma and Aqua, which aren't necessarily "evil" I don't think It'd be that bad.
