Nope

Why do I hate Swinub?

Swinub and its family line are easily my least favorite Pokemon.That design is terrible. An eyesore. That thing isn't even cute, it's a disgusting swine. Its evo Piloswine looks even worse with those tusks and that pig nose. And that fur, ugh I cannot look at it.
It is a swine, so I nicknamed my Swinub "Swine".

Why Yanma?

Not a fan of design. Blanking annoying with that Speed Boost ability, the high speed, the Double Team/Detect strategy, I can't stand Yanma. If Pokemon were real, I would have a newspaper ready for Yanmas. Yanma is an absolute pest. Nicknamed him "Pest" to reflect my hatred.

Why Koffing?

Since Gen 1 I have thought the Koffing line and a lot of other Poison types looked awful. I mean, a cloud of gas and pollution? Do people even like Koffing? Gen 3 Koffing's sprite went for a more appealing, cutesy approach. I would have none of this. Also, Koffing has been an annoyance with its Toxic and poisoning techniques, useless besides that.
"Toxic" will be his nickname because I'm uncreative.

Here is where I try to bond with these three abominations.

Now for the game:

-Caught Yanma, Koffing, Swinub
-Grind before Roxanne, each one is Lv.14
-Swinub learns Powder Snow, a breakthrough from spamming Normal attacks.
-Sweep Roxanne with Swinub
-Progress through the game, reach Brawly
-Pokemon are now Lv.18
-Brawly was relatively difficult, his Makuhita was a nuisance as always.
-Relied on Koffing and Yanma here, Poison Gas helped inflict damage on Brawly's Pokes
-Defeated Brawly, now going through Slateport
-Rival Fight #2 on the route from Slateport to Mauville, better known as the hardest fight in the game, happens.
-Take out Rival's first mon with Yanma, out comes Combusken
-Combusken crushes my Yanma and Swinub, now rely on Koffing to clutch
-Use Sludge after poisoning Combusken to faint it, GG.
-Mauville baby! Pokemon are Lv.25 facing Wattson
-Use Swinub because of Electric immunity, beats first two Pokemon
-Dat Manectric, Quick Attack after a few Howls becomes deadly
-Bring in Koffing to Poison, Yanma saves the day!

3 badges after ~9 hours of gameplay.

-Go through the routes in fiery Path, reach Fallarbor
-Back to Fiery Path, I go up to Mt. Chimney
-Maxie fight was wicked hard, that Mightyena
-Still nothing has evolved yet!
-Reach Lavaridge and fight Flannery

FLANNERY (Badge #4)
-Beat up Slugma and Numel with Koffing
-In comes Camerupt, suicide strats for Yanma, which does some damage on Camerupt
-Swinub also falls in this fight, both have a glaring Fire weakness
-Koffing poisons and kills Camerupt
-In comes Torkoal! I poison and Selfdestruct for the win.
-This kills the crab.

-Boring trip back to Petalburg

NORMAN (Badge #5)

-Spinda and Linoone aren't that difficult
-Here comes Slaking! Still have no evolved Pokemon.
-Slaking destroys my Pokemon without any problem. I lose this fight.

-Now to grind Swinub, who is only Lv.31 at this time.
-Fight 500 Sandshrews and Trapinches to evolve to Piloswine

NORMAN: THE REMATCH

-Yanma defeats Spinda and Linoone
-Slaking. Yanma gets an attack off before being executed by one Facade.
-Out comes Koffing, I poison his Slaking (In hindsight this was a terrible idea, I'm glad he didn't use Facade once afterwards)
-I break out the new Piloswine, who can actually stand a hit from Slaking.
-Four strengths are enough to beat it
-Vigoroth was easy and I win!!!

-Get Surf and go east of Mauville to Route (Infestation of trees).
-Fight those trainers and reach Weather Institute
-Team Aqua is a pushover lol
-Koffing evolves into Weezing!!!
-I meet up with my rival

RIVAL FIGHT #4 (Route 119)

-Yanma dies again but take Pelipper with it
-I send in Piloswine to defeat Combusken
-Weezing sweeps up Lombre with Sludge.

-Get Fly and Devon Scope, challenge Winona in Fortree

WINONA (Badge #6)

-Piloswine and Weezing for this one.
-Piloswine's Powder Snow takes out everything
-Winona is probably the weakest 6th Gym leader in any gen

So there you have it, I'll complete this soon.

Team: Piloswine Lv.38 Weezing Lv.38 Yanma Lv.38

Thus begins my road to the championship with a team of misfits. Winona was no threat at all, but everything afterwards was tough. I'll get to the important stuff.

-Beat Team Aqua at Mt. Pyre, enter Magma's hideout in Jagged Pass
-Nothing important except the Maxie fight

MAXIE
-Mightyena always a pest with Intimidate, I need Weezing to take him out
-Next comes Crobat, who I defeat with Piloswine
-Camerupt last. I use Weezing here after Yanma fainted lol

-Stop Team Aqua in Lilycove without much opposition
-Yes! I love Surfing! Especially in Emerald! *sarcasm*
-Arrive in Mossdeep

TATE & LIZA (Badge #7)
-Weezing now knows Explosion, I abuse that here
-Tons of Hyper Potions and Revival Herbs, tough battle
-Take down Lunatone and Solrock with Explosion
-Doesn't completely kill, Steel Wing from Yanma does the trick though
VICTORY!

-The Mossdeep Space Center, my last stop in Mossdeep
-Team up with Steven in the most bro-tier battle in the game!
-Send in Weezing to defeat Mightyena and Crobat
-Piloswine takes care of the Camerupts with help from Steven
-Yanma beats the last two Pokes

-More surfing *yawn*
-Reach Sootopolis, go challenge Juan

JUAN (Badge #8)

-I fight EVERY trainer in this gym, and I recommend everyone playing Emerald do this
-Note: Juan's Kingdra is a dark horse in the discussion for toughest Pokemon to fight in Pokemon Emerald. Norman's Slaking and Wattson's Magneton
are in my opinion, the biggest threats that Gym Leaders have.

-Lol at Luvdisc and Whiscash
-Sealeo, after 5 Shock Waves from Weezing, falls
-In comes Kingdra. My strat here was to poison it
-However, Juan kept healing like a stiff
-I went YOLO and just Exploded on Kingdra, which is all you can do against a pain like that.
-Crawdaunt-Oh, he's already dead.
WINNER

I get HM's and all that, make my way to Victory Road

WALLY

-For Altaria, STAB Powder Snow with Piloswine
-Stick with Pilo for Roselia and Magneton
-Weezing for Delcatty, and an easy faint
-Gardevoir was a twin killing by Yanma and Piloswine.

-I fight most of the trainers here which i recommend
-Oh hey we're out!

PREPARATION FOR THE CHAMP

-I teach Weezing Sludge Bomb
-Piloswine gets Earthquake and Ice Beam, with a fantastic moveset
-I buy some Revival Herbs and Full Restores, but stupidly I didn't buy enough

ELITE FOUR: SIDNEY
-Weezing? Yeah. Weezing. Next!

ELITE FOUR: PHOEBE
-Yanma knows Aerial Ace, which is helpful with the Double Teaming Dusclops.
-Notice that I use Weezing a lot here, that defensive bulk was an advantage.
-Not very hard overall.

ELITE FOUR: GLACIA

-Sealeos: Shock Wave with Weezing
-One Glalie is easy, but the other I had to Explode on
-Revive Weezing and since EXP doesn't matter that much, I Explode on Walrein.

ELITE FOUR:DRAKE

-Just hold on, we're going home
-Piloswine learns Blizzard, which is pretty clutch
-Shelgon: Blizz
-Kingdra: one Blizz, and an Explosion from Weezing
-The rest, including Salamence are no problem with Blizzard.

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've sort-of been waiting for after reading this ~4000 character monstrocity.....

CHAMPION WALLACE
-Such champion, very elegance
-Two Shock Waves to Gyarados!
-Two Piloswine Earthquakes to Whiscash!!!
-One Sludge Bomb on Ludicolo!
-Two Shocks and a Sludge Bomb to Wailord!
-One Earthquake to Tentacruel!
-Milotic.........
EXPLOSION!!!!!!

Fitting that I go out with a bang. I am the Champion of Hoenn, accompanied by three of my worst enemies.

-Caught Yanma, Koffing, Swinub
-Advanced through the beginning of the game
-For experience, I did the Sprout Tower before fighting Falkner.

FALKNER (Badge #1)
-Wicked easy fight because I had leveled Swinub up to Lv.10, learning Powder Snow
-STAB Ice moves = GG

-Go through Violet and Union Cave to Azalea
-Slowpoke Well wasn't hard, Swinub and Yanma did most of the job

BUGSY (Badge #2)
-Like I said, Swinub does great in the beginning of the game.
-Using unevolved Pokemon to get 5 badges is easier in Crystal than Emerald.
-Koffing takes care of everything besides Scyther
-Scyther was a combined effort, Yanmas were harmed in the making of this update.
-Koffing took some hits and finally defeated Scyther.

RIVAL FIGHT #2
-Azalea rival is without question the hardest fight in the game.
-For Gastly, I used Swinub's new STAB, Mud Slap. Luckily, Gastly only used Lick.
-Bayleef was taken down with a spam of Poison gas and Smog. Done.

-Stuff happened, not worth noting

WHITNEY (Badge #3)
-The Miltank is always a pain.
-I didn't want to lose so I fought every trainer from Goldenrod to the route leading to Ecruteak
-Here we go.
-Clefairy uses Metronome ROCK SLIDE, effectively OHKOing Yamna.
-I get some Headbutt flinches on the Clef with Swinub and beat it.
-For Miltank, I Poison it, because that thing is going to be Attracting and rolling out.
-Swinub and Koffing combine to finish Miltank after some lucky Rollout misses.

-Let's skip to Ecruteak, but finding the Rollout TM was a huge part in finishing Johto.

RIVAL FIGHT #3
-A bit easier this time around, and my team at this point is prepared.
-Swinub>Gastly Koffing>Bayleef Yanma> the rest

MORTY (Badge #4)
-I did some grinding before Morty because he's also frustrating
-Mud Slap with Swinub for all of the Gastlys, Yanma is useless here
-I get extremely lucky on this fight. Like 4-leaf cloverish.
-Morty's Gastly Curses first turn and Spites the second, so a 2HKO
-Send in Koffing, who now knows Rollout
-Morty doesn't hit a single Hypnosis, and Rollout didn't miss.
-I one-hit the Haunter and two-hit the Gengar with no threat!

I go to Olivine, one of my favorite cities in Pokemon.
-Lighthouse event, Surf to Cianwood
-Fight ALL the trainers in Whirl Islands area and Eusine.

CHUCK (Badge #5)
-Man, this was tough. His Poliwrath was a force.
-Primeape wasn't hard, and Yanma took it out
-One Surf was all it took to KO my Yamna. Embarrassing.
-No evolved Pokes yet, so I'm at a disadvantage.
-Resorted to Selfdestruct with Koffing, his Poli is down to 1/3 HP.
-Two misses on Hypnosis and DynamicPunch, so Swinub defeats it.

Back to Olivine.

JASMINE (Badge #6)
-I'm hilariously underleveled right now.
-Funniest fight I've ever seen
-Beat the Magnemite with Yanma's Sonicboom

-Steelix: I use Swinub. I use Mud Slap. Iron Tail misses. Mud Slap, Iron Tail misses, Mud Slap, Iron tail misses. 10 TIMES IN A ROW, and I win with a Lv.31 Swinub against a Lv.35 Steelix.

-Now I'm in Mahogany. I'll omit the Lake of Rage and Rocket Hideout stuff.
-Swinub ------> Piloswine!
-Koffing ------> Weezing!

PRYCE (Badge #7)
-Weezing and Piloswine do work here.
-Rollout with Weezing finishes Pryce.

-Ice Path, that Rocket event in Goldenrod with another easy Rival fight, and finally I reach Blackthorne City

CLAIR (Badge #8)
-I teach Piloswine Icy Wind, and all the Dragons get Iced out
-Clair isn't much trouble, save for KINGDRA.
-I Sludge with Weezing in hopes of Poisoning Kingdra, finally working.
-Except Clair has Full Restores. Shoot.
-Finally resort to Rollout, and 4 turns later I defeat Kingdra.

-Pokemon League time. There is no bad music in Crystal after you Surf up Tohjo Falls.

Victory Road, I teach EARTHQUAKE to Piloswine.

RIVAL FIGHT #5? (the last one in Johto)
-Weezing beasts on Sneasel
-For Meganium, I use Yanma's Wing Attack.
-Magneton and the rest are defeated by Piloswine.

ELITE FOUR

Remember how I said I was underleveled at Jasmine? Well, that came back to haunt me...

WILL
-I almost lost to this guy. For the first time ever.
-Xatu gets 2 hit by Pilo
-Slowbro and Exeggutor were a force. Weezing was OHKO'd by one Psychic.
-Finally, I right the ship and defeat him.

KOGA
-Yanma does a lot of the fighting here.
-Weezing's Rollout htakes care of the Bugs.

BRUNO
-Yanma takes care of the Hitmons
-Pilo beats the Onixs
-For Machamp, I get a lucky damage range and 2HKO it with Sludge Bomb.

KAREN
-"Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon. That is only the perception of selfish people. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win with their favorites"

-Very true, Karen, except I'm trying to win with my least favorites. I'm sure Karen hates Smogon and the idea of "perfect" pokemon.

-That said, she was the hardest fight. Even worse than Lance.
-I'm running extremely low on Revives and Full Restores.
-Umbreon was a pest, but I beat it with Weezing.
-I had Piloswine beat Gengar and a few others.

-Houndoom. That demon's Flamethrower nearly fainted my Piloswine, from full health to 4 HP. Revives are in short supply and I wanted to save them for Lance. Earthquake finally ends Houndoom's run. Winner!

CHAMPION LANCE
-Epic music
-Weezing leads against Gyara, Rollout kills it
-Rollout continues and I defeat a Lv.47 Dragonite
-Out comes Aerodactyl. Weezing uses Explosion and KOs it.
-I have literally no Pokemon or Revives left, except for Piloswine.
-Ironcially, my least favorite is all that remains, taking down one of my favorites, Dragonite.
-YOLO strats are in full effect, Icy Wind slows down DNite so i can 2HKO the Lv.50.

-Lance's last Pokemon is "Rock's Greatest Hits", Charizard. Unfortunately, I can't bring back Weezing to Rollout.
-My heart is pounding right now, I have no money to buy Revives if I die here.
-Fearing a Flamethrower, Lance's Charizard uses Fire Spin. Bad, but it could have been worse.
-Pilo uses its last Icy Wind to slow down Charizard. I can somehow outspeed it now.
-Headbutt not only criticals but flinches Charizard.

NOW... DON'T.... HEAL!

Lance doesn't heal, Piloswine Headbutts again and I become Johto champion with my least favorite Pokemon.

-Nostalgic and awesome credits roll.

-After barely beating the E4, I realized how underleveled I was, and how Red would manhandle my Pokemon at their current levels (All 47s at this point)
-Refight E4 until my Pokemon are all at Lv.55

Now that my Pokes are caught up in levels, it's time to storm Kanto!!!

-Fight Surge out of the gate

LT SURGE (Badge #9)
-Earthquake with Piloswine one-hits everything.
-Kanto leaders are still wicked easy.

-I fight every trainer in the routes between each Gym, I want to reduce the grind for Red later
-I decide to fight Erika in Celadon next because Yanma can defeat Grass types easily.

ERIKA (Badge #10)
-Like I said, Yanma's Wing Attack finishes Erika's Grass types.
-Easiest leader in Kanto, Brock is probably second.

I decide to fight Sabrina next.

SABRINA (Badge #11)
-Again, Kanto leaders are simple. I just use Piloswine's Earthquake and Yanma's Wing Attack to defeat the Psychics.

-Next up is Janine and her Poisons.

JANINE (Badge #12)
-Earthquake! It is key in stomping the Kanto leaders.
-I also use Weezing to take out some of the Pokes.
-Fin.

MISTY (Badge #13)
-Hardest Leader before the Snorlax event, so I fight her last
-Weezing now knows Thunderbolt, and that KO's everything besides Quagsire, who I use Piloswine to defeat.

-Snorlax event is next, I give the Leftovers to Weezing.

BROCK (Badge #14)
-It's very hard to lose to Brock if you any sort of Water, Ice or Ground attack. VERY hard.
-Piloswine EQ everything.

-Meet Blue in what's left of Cinnabar, he's so cool and collected now.

-Square off against Blaine in his makeshift Gym in Seafoam Islands.

BLAINE (Badge #15)
-Earthquake everything.

-I go back to Veridian to fight Blue

BLUE (Badge #16)
-Finally, a challenge!
-Piloswine now know Blizzard and I KO Pidgeot with it.
-Same goes to Exeggutor and Rhydon.
-Earthquake Arcanine and Alakazam
-Weezing's Thunderbolt finishes the Gyarados. Good Game.

-Moar grinding! My Pokemon finish Kanto at Level ~63.
-I decide to grind Yanma, Weezing and Piloswine to Level 70 to ensure my win over Red.

RED (THE FINALE)
-At this point, I ask myself: Who the *blank* would level a Yanma to 70?
-Also, I realized that I actually like these Pokemon. It only took two playthroughs.
-Red, do your worst. My team is overprepared.

-Piloswine leads against Pikachu. Even after a Charm, it still KOs with Earthquake.
-Weezing fight Blastoise, and 2-hits with Thunderbolt.
-For Venusaur, Yanma 2-hits with Wing Attack.
-Charizard. Switch back to Weezing, and TBolt twice.
-Espeon: Two Earthquakes from Piloswine.
-Snorlax: 500 Thunderbolts and 50 Earthquakes finally defeat it.
Good game Red.

Pokemon Crystal is finished. *Credits roll*

Dustox- I've never been big fan of it's design and I rarely use it due to disliking it's design.

Slaking - I dislike particular Slaking to be honest. Norman's slaking. You know that feeling when you choose treecko as your starter and you don't have any fighting types in your team? Than you finally nearly kill it when it heals up than uses facade on you and prettty much destroys your whole team? Yep that's why I am not big fan of slaking - or it's design.

Exploud - Now for exploud family - I kinda like Whismur, Loudred is ok - but than you have Exploud. Just huge mouth and a lot of tubes- just.. Who made this? Not big fan of it's design but I guess that it's a decent Pokemon.

Swalot - Not big fan of it's design and I am not big fan of it's moveset either (Swallow+ Spit up to be more accurate)

Mudkip - There is only one reason for why I hate mudkip - I heard you liek mudkipz! Everywhere. All. The. Time. No matter which Pokemon site you are - no matter which Picture you are looking at - this meme is somewhere there. It gets so annoying and I honestly cannot stand mudkip just thanks to that meme. I love Marshtomp, I love Swampert and I love using them but I hate mudkip.

Machop/Machoke/Machamp- There is only one reason for why I hate this one - Nuzlockes. Whenever I faced one of these they got a ton of crits and due to so many crits I lost a lot of my good pokemon friends that would make awesome team members but couldn't - thanks to crits. I don't like Machamp's design either - I mean it's same as machoke - with two extra arms... Yay!

Magikarp: I'm way too impatient to sit around and use splash all day, guess I'll be using Zubat until I get my EXP Share.
Zubat: They're arguably the most annoying pokemon in the game, and when you finally catch one and try to use its annoyingly-awesome power to own some trainers, it sucks. No pun intended.
