You can perform jobs that are sent out to all guilds and the first to do them gets the money, like in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon once a job is accepted by someone it disappears so that means if you take one you don't need to worry about other people doing it before you unless it is an important mission. You can be a recruit to an adept at magic but remember being in a guild is about happiness and making friends... believe in the heart of the cards

Remil

Remil yawned as the rising sun coming through his window awoke him. He stretched, his body slowly getting used to the idea that it actually needed to move to be of any use. Shoving the blankets off of him and towards the foot of the bed, he glanced around his room.

Remil was renting a small apartment close by Fairy Tail headquarters. Small, but even still the rent was killing him. I'll have to do a job sometime soon, he thought to himself. And I guess today is as good a day as any.

Pausing momentarily to check his cupboards for food, and to eat some of the food he found, he walked up the street to the Fairy Tail headquarters. He pushed open the door and walked into the main room. The room was mostly empty at this time in the morning, so he had no trouble walking over to the request board. The first one that caught his eye was one that was asking for someone to take care of some robbers for them. Sounds like an easy job, he thought. The reward was 20,000 Jewel too, which wasn't a shabby amount by any stretch. He removed the flier from the board, and set out for the location marked on the paper.

The location was in Hargeon Town, which was a few hours walk away. But, he thought, It would be faster if I could fly. Focusing, he created a small platform from Light magic. It was perhaps the size of a kite-shield, flattened and horizontal. Stepping lightly onto it, he willed it to move forward.

Now Remil, he told himself. Just concentrate, and we won't have any problems. Like blowing up. Or crashing into mountains. Not that any of that had actually happened. Hehehe.... Recently.

It was quite a bit faster, and Remil made good time to Hargeon Town. Dismounting from his platform, slightly winded from the exertion, but nevertheless he was pleased with himself. For not running into any of the obstacles on the way. Or losing control and blowing himself to the moon. Anyway, back to the actual narrative at hand. Remil walked to the shop that had issued the request.

He walked inside. "Knock, knock?" he voiced, looking around for the owner. The shopkeeper emerged from the back room where he had been taking inventory. He was an older man, perhaps in his fiftieth year. He was mostly bald, and wore an apron over his clothes.

The owner spoke. "Yes? What can I do for you young man? I'm afraid most of my valuable goods have been carted away, but perhaps I have something for you eh?"

Remil shook his head. "I don't need anything. In fact, I'm here to help you." He pulled out the flier. "I'm from Fairy Tail, sir, and I'd be pleased to help you with your bandit problem."

The Book of Ace
Act 1-Chapter 1

Prologue:
Ace had set out exactly one year ago to train to become powerful and understand the magic of Take-Over. He told everyone back at his guild 'Fairy Tail' to come and get him one year from his departure, Ace had no idea what the date is because he lives isolated from the modern magic world strengthening his spirit and magic.

Now:
Before Ace stood a magnificent beast the Barioth the ruler of the eternally frozen Tundra.

164px-BeriolosArt.png

"You're gonna be my dinner!" Ace shouted pointing his finger at the roaring beast.

"Strike of the Wolfe!" Ace shouted whilst jumping high into the air and throwing his arms by his sides before they were encompassed with a red aura. Ace then flew straight at the Barioth, which had it's jaws ready to crush it's prey. Ready to strike Ace threw his hand straight at the Barioth but with such little time to react the Barioth only just got out of the way at the coost of one of it's teeth which shattered across the icy cliff side.

"Ha, you aren't much without your teeth. Let's see if you can withstand the power of my Take-Over form WOLFE!" Ace screemed whilst his body turned into a white wolf with a blue Fairy Tail insignia on it's back.

Ace then pounced at the stunned Barioth and using his ferocious teeth bit into the Barioth's neck before again striking the Barioth with his sharp claws.

The Barioth yelled in pain before taking itself into the air. Ace unprepared for this revert's back into his usual form and using his Animal Possession starts to beat the flying animal in it's back. Ace's punches being as sharp as a fang pierce the Barioth's skin, before he jumps to the head of the Barioth and throws an extremely fast and powerful punch in the temple of the Barioth killing the beast as it falls to the ground. Ace not wanting to die from such a fall transforms into his Wolfe Form and just as the Barioth hits the ground he jumps onto the snow.
In front of him stands a small boy, with big black hair and an orange and black gi, who stares at the wolf and the Barioth in amazement.

"What are you doing here?" Ace growls looking at the boy as he draws his sword.

Agni Helios
Introduction ! The Wildfire Of Fairy Tail !

A sudden explosion rocked the canvas of the frozen MT. Hakobe, sending a powdery dust of snow flowing off its surface and down the mountain. Agni's chest was rising and falling furiously. " Stay the hell out of my way you damned Vulcans ! " he shouted out. He walked out to the ledge of the newly formed hole in the mountain's side, a light smirk while he wiped a smudge of blood from the corner of his lips. " I have a friend to find and I won't let you get in my way. "

He was sent by the Guild Master on Ace's inconvenient little errand of fetching him once a year was over with. Though to be honest the Guild had been a bit boring without him, so Agni was more than a bit excited to go and bring the brat back. The harsh cold of MT. Hakobe was bit a much for most of the Guild anyway, so he was really the only choice that was left because inside him burned the flame of a Dragon Slayer and not one of those test tubed ones either. He was the real deal, a home grown Dragon Slayer with all the passion of the sun burning in his lungs.

Agni turned back around towards the entrance and again started to back-track from within the cavern's bowels. He scratched the back of his head as he thought of the way he had just come from. It would have been so much easier if the mountain hadn't been covering up the boy's scent. Ace always had this outdoorsy smell to him but it was like it was intentional, so it was exactly the same as being outside. The only smells he was getting out there was animals and cold ice. He gripped the red cotton scarf around his neck and loosened it a bit from his throat. " I'll find you Ace and I'll drag you back to Fairy Tail for all this damn trouble you put me through. " he said to himself.

A few hours of following an out-of-placed scent and Agni had found himself staring at the scene of boy and a humanoid looking wolf-thing. The match was off from fair so why even the odds a bit. " FIRE DRAGON'S ! " bellowed Agni as he engulf his entire body in a deep reddish flame. He crouched on the snow-covered ground, the snow melting into steam from the heat around him. " SWORD HORN ! " He rocketed off towards the wolf, aiming for its gut so that he could knock it away and give the kid some time to run away. The thing looked weird, it was like no animal he had ever seen before so it had be strong. No matter, Agni was never the type to back down from the battle.

Fawkes Lucifer: The Pheonix of Fairy Tail
Warrior for Hire

Fawkes stood outside of the small village with a scowl on his face. Damned villagers can't even fight off an Arzuros. The bear-like creatures were fierce for mere monsters, but they were typically easy to send away...as long as you don't have honey. God dammit! They probably have honey! The tall man sighed and fingered the hilt of the longsword sheathed at his side. Pheonix Rising was a good sword, about four feet long, that could block a good blow or four without faultering. Well, Calder, time to make you proud again. Fawkes was determined to do every mission with his up-most best...even petty conflicts with bears.

The lone man strode through the streets with a look of bored determination on his face. The town was really quite small. There was the town hall, a handful of cobblestone shacks, and a small marketplace. It didn't take that long to find the hall. Fawkes opened the door a bit violently, slammed it shut, and approached the man who appeared to be in charge. "I'm here for the job offer...Something about some Arzuros?" The sound of displeasure in his voice was obvious, especially with the word Arzuro. "I'm from Fairy Tail."

The man studdered a bit, and actually seemed a bit agast at the rude behavior. "Y-Yes. You can do that." It was easy to see that he wasn't expecting a reply so quickly. "They've been raiding our fo-"

"Do you have honey?"

"E-Excuse me?"

Fawkes sighed with frustration. "Do. You. Have. Honey." Each word was drawn out with a bit a pause between them.

The man scowled. "You don't have to be so rude! But yes, we do."

"That's your problem. I'm going to set up a trap around the building. If you see anyone else, tell them to find me on the roof." With that, he exited the hall and clambered up the side of the building. He took a seat on the pinnacle of the roof and sighed while muttering, "This will take a while..."

Lazarus and Damien had been scoping out the local rumors in Crocus when they had decided to stop at a local pub. It didn't take long for Lazarus to indulge himself, and as typical of one who indulges himself his inhibitions were lacking.

"Ha! Those losers over at Blue Pegasus are pathetic. They're nothing but a bunch of weirdoes, especially that Ichiya person. Their guild leader is a cross-dresser for goodness sake! Like, who does that?"

Damien came over to Lazarus and proceeded to shove him.

"What do you think you're doing? You know better than to say stuff like that."

"Quit being a buzz kill. We're all having a good time over here. Aren't we guys?"

Lazarus looked around for support, but the only thing he received was hostile gazes. One person even made his way over to Lazarus and Damien, who were seated at the bar. The man who had walked up to Lazarus had a surprising mark on him, the guild seal of Blue Pegasus. Damien already knew things weren't going to go well.

"Look, my friend here doesn't mean it. He's just a b-"

Before Damien could finish his words the Blue Pegasus member threw a heavy punch to the side of Damien's face. The punch made Damien stagger back a few steps, though it wasn't apparent of how much damage he took. Damien started leaking shadows and Lazarus was starting to laugh.

"You guys really shouldn't have done that."

Almost instantly after Lazarus spoke, tentacles made of shadow launched from Damien's shadow grabbing the Blue Pegasus member and slammed him to the floor. Damien took a few steps towards the Blue Pegasus member and gazed down at him emotionlessly.

"I'm going to let you go, but if I were you I wouldn't throw any more punches."

In that moment another person came up behind Damien and attempted to launch some magic attack using Ice Make magic. A spear of ice was sent towards the back of Damien's head, but before it could connect Lazarus made the spear melt through the use of his Arc of Time. Soon after he noticed that a few more people seemed to be standing up for the Blue Pegasus guy.

"Hey, Damien, there seems to be more than one of these guys. One even tried to attack you from behind."

Damien took a quick look around at the people preparing their magic attacks

"Wrong decision."

The Blue Pegasus guy was lifted up from the ground by Damien's shadow tentacles. Damien then proceeded to punch the guy with his Shadow God Slayer magic. The man curled in pain, but his ordeal was far from over. Damien grabbed the man by the back of his shirt and threw him at another person who had come to help. The force was so strong that it sent them both flying through a wall. It was so surprising that the other would-be attackers stopped and everyone, save Damien, Lazarus, and the bartender, ran away in panic.

"What did you do to my wall!?" the bartender exclaimed.

"Sorry, but they shouldn't have done what they did."

"Sorry? Sorry doesn't cut it."

"Sorry, we'll make it up to you."

"Well, if you put it that way I did put up a request for someone to help my cousin that you guys could take. You are from a guild, right?"

"Yes, we are and if that is what you would like us to do then we will take you up on your offer."

"Good, good," the bartender said while rubbing his hands together. "My cousin lives in Shirotsume, I'll send word to him that you'll be helping him. What guild should I tell him you are from?"

Lazarus got up from his seat and stepped over to Damien and the bartender before saying:
"Just tell your cousin to be on the lookout for the Twin Fangs of Sabertooth."

After that both Damien and Lazarus walked out of the pub to go prepare. The bartender just stood in a bit of astonishment.

"Who in the world are the Twin Fangs of Sabertooth? I've never heard of them."

As Ace was ready to pounce on the sword bearing kid, a blinding streak of red flames flew across the snow heading straight at Ace.

"What the hell!" Ace roared as he was hit by the flaming ball and was thrown across the white snow.

Ace was bleeding out among the red snow he watched as the kid ran into an old tree and as his magic power was draining he reverted back to his normal forme and pressured the area where he was attacked.

"Gah! Why the hell did you attack me like that... didn't you see the insignia of Fairy Tail on my shoulder?!" Ace yelled rolling around on the snow making questionable facial expressions.

"I guess you are either here to retrieve me or here to kill me... why on earth would someone wan' to kill me is of no constellation to me. I am Ace, not many people come up this way through the mountains so you're either lost or as I said 'ere to retrieve me." Ace said before spitting blood over the ice.

Agni Helios
Introduction ! The Wildfire Of Fairy Tail !

Agni had caught the wolf-man by surprise and was able to plow him into the side of the snow covered mountain. With a flash and roar of his fire his red flames withered from over his body and he found himself crouched on the ground, one arm extended to the snow and the other balled up near his side. He looked over towards the wolf with his slanted emerald eyes and a rather cocky grin on his face. It would be an understatement to say that he felt good about taking down the wolf monster so easily.

Snow rained down from the titanic clouds above in droves of white cotton balls. The cold was little less than an annoyance to Agni but that kid from earlier wouldn't survive long in those harsh conditions. Agni stood up to his feet and looked towards the direction the kid had ran towards. " I should probably find that kid before this damn weather gets any worse." he decided. Then suddenly a voice that sounded very familiar and at the same time sounded... aggravating as hell, started speaking out towards him.

For a moment he had the innate reaction of sticking his pinky finger in his ear and cleaning out its already clean bowels just to rid himself of the guy's rambling.

He was about to leave but then he heard the guy say he was Ace and for the first time since the man had been speaking Agni looked over towards him. Slowly the man's features begin to come out. Black scruffy hair, youthful features that belonged to a brat, and ragged clothes that could only be produced from a year's worth of training. And now that he took the time to notice, even Ace's scent was coming from him now.

Which made the man's arguing all the more irritating. " Ace, shut the hell up will ya ! I came all this way to get you and this is the thanks I get ! " Agni yelled as his flames erupted around him in response to his spontaneous anger. After a couple of deep breathes Agni's flames receded and his voice returned to its usual. " Just get ya ass back to the guild. I have a matter to attend to before I go back. " he told him, facing in the direction the kid had ran off in. As he stood there the snow whipped his crimson hair behind him, revealing the like-wise crimson insignia of the Fairy Tail guild on the left shoulder of his darkblue armor. " I tossed the kid out there... Guess that makes him my problem now. " he told himself evenly.

He tossed one more glance at Ace before heading off in the kid's direction. " I'm serious Ace, head back to the Guild, everyones waiting for yer. " In the blinding snow Agni could barely make out the scent of the boy, much less see him. It was like searching for Baragas; his Dragon Father, there was no clues in sight. He held his the red cotton scarf that Mira had given him up to his mouth and pushed through the blizzard's fury. " Hey! Heyy kid where are you ?!? " he called out roughly.

" Hey Kid- !? "

Then in the blink of an eye he found himself tumbling down the mountain. He rolled down the mountain, yelling with every bump and knot that he felt on the way down. At its end he found himself airborne and heading straight for the kid he was searching for.

No wonder he couldn't get a hold of his scent, the kid had found shelter in a tree, those things were famous for throwing off scents. As soon as he had spotted him, Agni had grinned widely, showing off his canines in the process. " I finally found ya ! " he barked. It wasn't until the last minute did he realize the smell of blood in the air. With a crash he tossed up the powdery snow and ended up shrouding himself in it on accident. Agni knew the smell of blood usually meant injury which meant he didn't have much time to get the kid to a doctor. He ran over to the tree's base, looking it over for a second before deciding to precede.

With little warning he lit his fist on fire and threw it into the tree, shattering the thick bark and sending it tumbling backwards. The explosion was minimal but its devastating force was immense. Everything above the kid was sent flying into pieces of splinter and bark; leaving the little brat shelter-less. Whether he was scared or not, Agni would stand above him with a glare. " You alright kid ? Are ya hurt ? "

Remil

The shopkeeper looked delighted. "Oh, you're from Fairy Tail? Why, this is great news! I do hope you can rid me of my ah, pest problem."

Remil smiled reassuringly. "I'll do what I can, you can be sure. Now, it sounds like these guys have been attacking your store rather frequently?"

"Yes, that's right," the shopkeeper said. "They've been attacking me about twice a week for the past month, though I've quite no idea why."

"And when do you figure they'll attack next?"

"Oh, tonight is definitely a possibility. It's been about two weeks since their last attack," the shopkeeper said.

Remil nodded. "That's fine. Now then, here's what we'll do..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sound of shattering glass woke Remil from his stupor. He had been lying in wait for the thieves all night, and must have dozed off while he was waiting. Drawing on his magic reserves, he conjured his favorite sword from the void. It was ling and single-edged, with a handle that curved into a guard in front of his hand. It wasn't magical or anything, but it got the job done and allowed him to use Sword Magic.

Stepping in the direction of the noise, not able to see anything in the darkness. Stepping into the room he heard a voice saying, "Alright, just like the last time just take whatever's not bolted down and get out as fast as we can."

Speaking into the darkness, Remil said, "I think you may have a problem if you try to do that." Summoning forth a huge portion of energy, he flooded the room with a brilliant radiance. The would-be thieves were temporarily dazzled, except for one man who had covered his eyes. Brandishing his sword at the man who was still in possession of his senses, he said, well, come on then!" Howling, the man charged.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remil

Remil closed, then opened his eyes. This man dared to challenge him? Him? Than he had chosen his fate. He dodged the man's attack and almost contemptuously cut him down with his blade. Then one of the men who had been dazed, and had recovered attempted to cut him down in much the same manner. Faster than the blink of an eye Remil formed a shield of dark energy around his body. The man's blade struck the shield and rebounded, staggering backward.

Turning, Remil smashed the man across the face with his empty hand. His assailant flew back, knocking his companions down. Remil slew them all before they could stand. Extinguishing the light, he went back to his chair and flopped down onto it, trying to get some sleep before recieving his reward.

In the morning, when the shopkeeper witnessed the bodies Remil said, "I can promise you that they won't bother you again. Now, about my reward..."

When he returned to the Fairy Tail guild, he returned to his room, to catch up on the sleep he had lost on his trip.

Book of Ace
Chapter 2

After Ace had fully recovered from the incident involving an angry man and a small child with a death wish. He had listened to Agni's words and with out further ado he jumped off the edge of the small plateau he was just bleeding all over.

"Jeez what is his problem I cannot remember him being this angry." Ace mumbled to himself with a frown upon his face.

*Kaboom*
A large explosion and the smell of tree's wafted through the air, Agni had punched a tree basically in half.

"What the hell is that idiot doing, thinking knowing dragon slayer magic is all high and mighty, it's 'bout time he got off o' his high horse." Ace mumbled yet agaain to himself before transforming back into his wolf-forme and pouncing down the mountain.

Due to the big kaboom from the tree being utterly destroyed an avalanche was beginning and Agni nor Ace knew about it.

Agni Helios
Introduction ! The Wildfire Of Fairy Tail !

He could see the hesitation in the kid's eyes, the shivering of his body. It was obvious that he was a little more than scared of the current situation and honestly Agni was just a bit irritated by it. He came all this way to save him and the kid was looking at him like he was the bad guy. Maybe it was his fault for being so rough around the edges. His parent's had taught him to be refined but training with Baragas had unleashed a long buried dragon-like temperament. One that was easy for him adapt to due to his already rebellious nature with his parents.

The kid studdered through his words for a moment before telling him that his leg was injured. Agni suddenly crouched down, his toes holding his weight and his knees bent as he looked down at the boy's leg. It was broken but it didn't have any severe deformities to it. He took a whiff of the boy's leg from where he was; not getting any closer or further away. " Its definitely broken though... " he thought to himself seriously. Then the boy struggled up to his feet.

Agni didn't say anything, he simply looked at the kid as he stumbled forward and looked behind him. The boy mumbled the word Avalanche in a hush voice, if he hadn't been a Dragon Slayer he probably wouldn't had heard it. The words struck a cord in him, causing a tensed expression to grow on his face. He raised up to his feet and walk over beside the kid so that he could listen more clearly to the sound. It was distant, almost too far away to be believable but surely their was a sound there. It was deep and rumbling, like the sound of thunder, except it had a rolling echo to it. Either way the sound was a ominous warning.

" Holy hell.. " uttered Agni as he scooped the kid over his shoulder and started down the mountain side. His scarf had somehow become unwrapped during his little display of fire power and now he could feel the cold wrapping around his neck slowly. Its icy edge was already cutting down his throat as he sprinted down the mountain side, trying to outrun a beast more terrifying than most mages. The fiery haired mage skidded to a stop once he realized the cloud of snow was catching up to the two. He had taken into account that it was possible for him to melt the snow but he worried that he didn't have enough magic power for it. That his actions could cost him another's soul.

The Fire Dragon Slayer gritted his teeth before lowering the kid down behind him. His mind was made up, it was either beat a mountain of snowy fury or die trying to protect the kid. Honestly he hated putting someone above himself but from time to time he just felt responsible. Agni stepped in front of the boy, his legs spaced apart slightly and his hands held out in front of him.

" Yo, " he said, getting the attention of the boy if he had staid behind him. " The name's Agni Helios and I'm a member of Fairy Tail... If I die today- " he paused, his voice gaining a sorta of lively edge too it. As if he was embracing the fact with joy instead of dread. " Than I want you to tell everyone that I died smiling ! " he yelled, looking over his shoulder at the kid with a wildly happy grin. The rolling of Avalanche brought his attention back to it as it grew ear-shattering the closer it became.

When he could wait no more Agni suddenly begin to emit the same reddish flames from before. It flowed off his skin, hair, and clothes as if attached to it. It reddened the glow of his face to an almost unbelievable hue and it extended outwards before flowing off to the sides of the two like a protective oval. At the moment of impact the snow pushed Agni back a few feet, skidding him a foot or two in front of kid.

A aggravated growl erupted from him. " Dammnnnit ! " The avalanche was passing around them, its snowy body evaporating against the intense flames of his fire. The pain in his arms were beyond describable as he resisted the cold and pure force of the avalanche bearing down on him. But the want to protect the kid and his need to live was squeezing out every inch of magic from his fire-filled veins. Even as his fingers started to bleed, the muscles in his arms started to tear, and the flames around him started to waver; he endured.

For what seemed like a lifetime but was actually three or four minutes, Agni held his hands up and held the brilliantly red flames surrounding him. The snow finally passed by them and Agni was able to let his arms fall to his sides. His eyes flickered downward from his exhaustion and he was able to see the charred-black stone of the surface beneath the snow around him and the boy. His fire had done it job but now his body was going to pay the toll.

His back raised with his haggard breathing as his flames flicker on his armor, skin, and hair weakly. Then he spoke out to the boy. " Yo, you still alive back there ? " he asked between breathes but maintaining his rugged manner of speaking. He was hoping for a answer but who knew, maybe his flames weren't strong enough, maybe the kid had bolted prior to his struggle, or maybe the kid had simply been swept away due to a accidental move or something. All he knew was that he would be pissed if the kid had died off after all that.

Damien and Lazarus embarked on the journey to Shirotsume with many thoughts in mind. They were heading straight for Shirotsume right through the mountains.

"You know what you did back there is causing us more trouble than we need." Damien says.

"Uh, yeah... That probably was a bad idea." Lazarus says while rubbing his head.

"Oh well. It's too late to feel sorry now. We got a job to do. I know we don't do many jobs, but lately I feel like we need to do something more interesting rather than just watch me train all the time. I almost feel as if Jiemma doesn't want me to become a public figure."

"I don't know, maybe you're over thinking things." If only he knew what Jiemma asked me to do.

"Well I'm not one to keep my head stuck on one thing like that. Anyways we are going to cut through the mountains instead of going around, seeing I'd rather get there sooner than later."

"That's fine and all, but won't it be a lot harder? It's not like these mountains are deserted. There are all sorts of monsters and creatures, not to mention how rough the terrain is."

"It will be good exercise, and besides I haven't really warmed up today. Who knows if this mission will be a walk in the park or an actual challenge?"

"Fine, but don't be surprised if this isn't that hard. I checked out the request board and the reward was only 50,000 jewel. At least it'll pay rent."

"Well then if it's only 50,000 then I don't expect it to be a challenge at all. Like you said we can at least pay the rent with it."

The two carried on entering the mountainous pass. They walked along the mountains edge in a blizzard with the two showing no sign of weakness even in the harsh weather. They walked unscathed through the mountains for some time with all the creatures either avoiding them or just Lazarus and Damien were getting lucky. They managed to get through a whole day without being touched. On the second day luck seemed to be on their side once more, at least it was until the sun began to set. Night was coming fourth and along with it were three Baggi.

"In the sky!" Lazarus yells while pointing straight at the Baggi.

"Finally. I was starting to think the creatures here were scared of me." Damien says.

The Baggi then noticed them upon hearing Lazarus yell. The larger Baggi of the three then made a loud whelping noise which caused both Damien and Lazarus to flinch and grab their ears in an attempt to cover them. The Baggi then all came swooping down at a high speed towards Damien and Lazarus. Once the Baggi began to swoop in Damien tells Lazarus:

"Line them up."

"With pleasure." Lazarus says.

Lazarus put his hands out with purple magic circles being emitted in front of each. The Baggi tried to surround them like a pack of wolves, but Lazarus' magic forced all into a straight line. They thrashed about, but to no avail as the magic prevented them from moving. After a few moments Damien walked forward before stopping in front of the Baggi.

"Shadow God's Bellow!" Damien yelled loud as he clenched his fists and extended his chest forward. Damien's mouth opened wide with an array of darkness shot from it aimed directly at the Baggi.

The magic hit the Baggi directly sending them all flying away from the force. They stood there for a few seconds as the snow mist cleared from the air. Once the mist was cleared Damien said:

"Let's get going."

They both continued on walking through the mountain where darkness fell once again having them set up camp again on these treacherous mountains. They awoke the next mourning only to continue on their path. They didn't walk for long until they finally reached the end of the mountains where they were now in a forest. The forest was very thick seeing that there were so many trees. The trees shut out most of the sun light made it impossible for Damien and Lazarus to tell time. They walked on the path headed straight towards Shirotsume. It wasn't long until they began to hear some crackling in the bushes around the path. Not long after hearing the crackling a group of bandits jumped out from the forest. One bandit that was bigger than the others immediately began to talk saying,

"Well look what we got here boys, two lo-…"

The bandit stops talking immediately after noticing Damien and Lazarus just walked past them as if they didn't exist. That angered the bandit causing him to run in front of both Damien and Lazarus' walking path.

"I don't think you understand. We're bandits, and we're here to steal your stuff." The bandit in front of them says.

"We don't have time for you. So if you'll excuse us we have to be going." Damien says as he puts his hand on the bandits shoulder gently pushing him out of their path.

The bandit stood there in awe not exactly sure what just happened. The bandit, though, shook it off and called to his troops telling them:

"Surround them boys." The bandits all ran around making a circle around Lazarus and Damien, "Alright now that I got your attention. Why don't you just hand all your stuff over and make it easier on yourself."

Damien looked at Lazarus as they both wore devilish grins on their face. A black magic circle appears under Damien as he slams his fist on the ground with a black vortex looking shadows appear under all the bandits.

"Huh, what's going on?" A bandit says scared.

Seconds later all the bandits are sucked into the shadow vortex. Damien and Lazarus looked at each other once more both with smirks on their faces. They continued walking until the got out of the forest where they then saw the sun was down.

"It's late, but we are close to Shirotsume. So we should just walk the rest of the way now so we can get there by tonight." Damien says.

"Alright." Lazarus says.

They continue walking once more in the night. They walked for some time on the path until Shirotsume came into sight. Once it was in sight they looked at each other in relief seeing it was getting very late and both looked very tired. They began to walk faster once the town was in sight. They rushed until they reached the town's edge. Once they stepped foot in the town Damien looked at Lazarus and said in relief,

"We finally made it."

Fawkes "Pheonix" Lucifer: Pheonix of Fairy Tail
Bad News Bears

Fawkes couldn't help but groan in anticipation. He had been perched on the roof for HOURS, and there had been no signs of the bears. You have to be freaking kidding me. These god damned villagers don't even know how to defend their village from honey-obssessed bears! I could do this in my sleep! Sure, he was arrogant, but he had every reason to be. He was a skilled wizard, in Fairy Tail no less! He had more important things to donate his time to! Fawkes pulled Phoenix Rising from its sheath and stared at the dull-grey blade intently. Calder...I won't fail you. I will make you proud, no matter what tedious task I have to handle. These damned bears won't slow me down. Nothing will. Not in a thousand years. The blade truly was magnificent: It was sharp, compatible with fire magic, a decent length, and, most importantly, it had his honor behind it. The blade had a hypnotic effect so strong that he almost missed the roar at the edge of town.

Fawkes rushed over to the sound of the noise to find a trio of Arzuros. Hungry Arzuros. He couldn't help but laugh. "Are you guys it? This has to be a joke!" They all seemed to hold a good deal of stupidity. "You have to be kidding me!" He laughed yet again and sighed with frustration. "Well, let's get this over with." There was so much anger within the man, mainly from all of the waiting. "F**K YOU!" He rushed forward with a roar and swung Phoenix Rising with as much force as he could manage. The ferocious attack seemed to surprise the bears. It cut through the first ones waist with ease, and it fell in half almost immediately. Pheonix couldn't help but laugh. "Too easy." He turned around and smirked. "Phoenix Flash!" He held his sword out with one hand and a great burst of flame came from the tip of the blade and engulfed the bear creature, causing it to run into the forest wailing in pain. He won't be coming back. With that he turned to the third. It was furious at the loss of its fellow raiders. It roared in frustration. A smirk crossed Fawkes' face. "Cute."

---

Fawkes walked away from the village with his coins jangling in his pouches. "That was a productive trip...Boring though. I was expecting a real fight."

The two entered the town, and one of the first things they had noticed was the large mansion on the opposite side of town. From what they had known it belonged to the duke of the town. He was an unusual man from what the rumors suggested, a man with a really twisted sense of beauty. That was neither here nor there, though, and they that they only needed to worry about finding the bartender's cousin so that they could start the job.

The flyer with the information on the mission said to meet him at a inn towards the east side of town. Lazarus and Damien navigated the houses and shops for a few hours. Shopkeepers occasionally tried to advertize their goods with the typical "This is the best, or we have goods that you can't find anywhere else," but neither of them paid the merchants much attention. They were used to traders, since they spent a lot of time near Crocus, which tended to have some extravagant items for sale being that it was the capital city. Over time they found the inn and they both marched in with a business-like bravado. Upon their entrance several gazes fixed themselves on Lazarus and Damien. Unlike most inns they were used to, this one had a diner on its main floor. Tables were dotted about with several people sitting around each one. Lazarus was the first to speak.

"We're looking for Frank."

A somewhat large man approached Lazarus and Damien, saying "What do you want with Frank?"

Damien cut in at this point. "We're here to protect the town."

The entirety of the room's attention was now focused on Lazarus and Damien. The feeling of anxiety and disbelief in the air was palpable.

"They only sent two people? How do you expect to handle all of the bandits? There's a ton of them."

"Don't worry," Lazarus begins. "We're more than enough to handle your problem."

"Hmph, if you say so." The man scoffed while pointing towards a table. "Frank is right there."

Lazarus and Damien both walked over to where Frank was, though he didn't seem too confident with them. He motioned them to sit down. Each one took a seat by the table.

"You know, that cocky attitude won't help you." Frank said.

"I'm not being cocky. Just tell us what to do and we'll do it."

Frank pulled out a piece of paper and laid it in front of them.

"This is what they left the last time they attacked. They said that if we don't give them one million jewel then they will continue to attack us, but the problem is that most of the citizens wouldn't even be able combine their savings to reach that mark, which forces us to sit back and let the bandits attack. So now we need someone to save our town."

Damien looked over the note. It said that they would attack tomorrow at around noon. "So, how many are there?"

"I guess around forty."

Damien stood up at this. "Sounds easy enough. Let's go, Lazarus."

Lazarus followed suit and stood up before they walked out. Frank wore a look of worry and agitation.

"I hope those two know what they're doing." Frank mumbled.

They both found a different inn to stay at and used what little money they had on them to rent two rooms for the night. The next day came quickly for them, and before they knew it, it was noon. Towards the town's entrance a large group of people approached. Lazarus and Damien automatically registered the group as the bandits and decided to cut them off from getting to town. They approached the bandits slowly and confidently, leaving no sign of fear or weakness. Both groups stopped once they came close to each other. A man with weird tattoos stepped forward from the bandits.

"What do you two think you're doing?"

'It's simple," Lazarus said, monotonously. "Either you turn around and never come back or we're going to cripple you so you can't come back."

The tattooed bandit was showing clear signs of anger at this, to which he said: "Boys, show 'em what we do to people that get in our way!"

Several of the bandits started to use various elemental magic attacks. This prompted Lazarus to use his gravity magic earlier than he had wanted. Both of his hands displayed magic circles and in an instant the other magic attacks were drawn away from Lazarus and Damien. The attacks crashed away from both group, but managed to take a couple of the bandits.

"You take twenty and I take twenty? Does that sound good, Damien?"

"Yeah, just try to keep up."

"Same thing to you."

Lazarus used his gravity push to separate the bandits into two groups. They seemed to be quite surprised at the strength of his magic, though moving such a large group did take its toll on him. Both groups tried to converge again, but Lazarus and Damien positioned themselves in between the two groups. That decision seemed to be a bad one at first, as the bandits soon circled them, sending dozens of attacks. Dust was kicked up by the attacks, but as the dust started to settle only Lazarus could be seen. He had created a small gravity barrier around him to prevent the vast majority of damage to him. His magic power was starting to run low, so he hoped Damien would hurry up. Slowly, Damien emerged from Lazarus' shadow. As he did, he looked over to Lazarus and cracked his neck.

"You ready?"

"Yeah."

They both braced themselves, as they started to perform their attacks. Lazarus mustered up what magic power he had left while Damien drew in a large breath of air. Damien yelled out "Shadow God's Bellow!" and from his mouth shot a massive beam of darkness that instantly defeated all of the bandits that had crossed them. Lazarus put his hands directly in front of him and simply said "Fall." The gravity around his side of the bandits was increased exponentially, causing many of the bandits to collapse under their tremendous weight. As Lazarus' attack finished he fell to ground, unable to stand anymore. One bandit remained, and he seemed to be unscathed. Damien looked at the bandit with suspicious eyes.

"You're wondering why I'm not hurt, right? It's 'cause I specialize in nullification magic. So you're magic won't affect me."

Damien gave the bandit a callous look. He began to take his shirt off while saying "Lazarus, take the restraints off." Large cuffs of gravity lacrima were attached to his wrists and ankles, though the ones on his ankles weren't easily seen. Lazarus snapped his fingers. The cuffs unclasped and fell to the ground. They drove several inches into the ground when they fell and made loud thuds that echoed slightly.

Damien ran over to the final bandit and started to assault him with several attacks. First a simple jab to the gut, which already seemed to end the bandit's resistance. The jab was followed by a quick hook into the ribs, then another jab, and finally a haymaker to the side of the head. The bandit collapsed instantly, and the rest of the bandits weren't in any better shape. Lazarus was able to work up enough strength to stand up again and Damien looked over at Lazarus.

"You should've been able to handle them better than that."

"I didn't think that moving that many people would take that much out of me, but we got them, so whatever."

"Let's get the reward and go."

"Sure."

They returned to Frank who had been watching the battle the whole time. One simply had to look in his eyes to see how shocked he was to see what he had just witnessed.

"I really didn't think you had it in you, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Now if you'll come with me back to that inn yesterday, I'll get your payment."

They followed Frank back to the inn, they concluded some paper work, got their payment, and for some odd reason signed a couple of autographs for Frank. Afterwards they left the inn and set back to the town exit. On their way back through the merchant district a really shady man stopped them. He had a weird, yet constant, laugh that seemed to echo under his voice, even while he spoke.

"You two look like you could use some new literature."

Damien ignored the man, but Lazarus was always curious when it came to knowledge. He went on about how he had a "one of kind deal," but what was quickly becoming interesting was that he claimed to have a message pertaining to the Book of Zeref. At this, Damien's interest was also piqued. The merchant said that for a measly ten thousand jewel it could be theirs. Naturally, Lazarus wanted to buy the book, and seeing how Damien wanted the message, they bought the items. The weird little merchant gave them the items, and almost as randomly as he arrived he left. With their pay and items now in tow they headed for the town exit, and back to Sabertooth's guild hall.

Agni Helios
Introduction ! The Wildfire Of Fairy Tail !

It hadn't taken long before the boy had answered his question. It was a relief to know, and for some reason it seemed as if he was finally able to loosen his muscles afterwards. Agni's knee crunched into the snow, his hands holding him up from falling completely onto the ground. Again, he spoke through heavy breathing. " That's... Good. I was afraid I might have lost ya back der. " he told him.

It wasn't long before a blue hue had begun to radiated from behind his back. Agni could feel his muscles being massaged and healed, as if the damage from the Avalanche hadn't even happened. His tissue was being sewn together and his hands, even though they were furthest from the light were beginning to heal up as well. He felt the exhaustion rise off his body and before he knew it; he was feeling better than ever. Even so, while the boy was healing him, he was telling the story of a familiar situation he had been in. One that reminded him much of what he had gone through as well. He wanted to give the kid hope but as it was he didn't even have hope for finding his own Dragon.

Agni resisted from looking at the boy's emotional moment, he wasn't exactly one for shedding tears. The blue hue of light disappeared and the sound of the boy's body weighing into the snow sounded behind him. Agni turned around towards him and pushed aside a dark bang from his face. He couldn't help the growing fondness growing inside of him for the boy. It seemed like he was going through some tough problems and didn't exactly have anywhere to go either.

" Fine, I guess you're coming to Fairy Tail with me." he thought begrudgingly to himself. He fixed the crimson scarf around his neck, tightening it a little before pulling the kid over onto his back. He looked off towards the beginning of the snowy mountain, almost resenting the track down. " Well.. I don't have much choice now. I best start moving. " he said, pushing his feet through the deep snow.

The track down took a couple of hours but after that, Agni acquired a carriage had the man wheel them back to Magnolia. In the meantime, He would prop his elbow up against the widow and looked out it as the sun fell and decorated the sky in its orange glow. " Hope Gramps is looking forward to another brat. "

Agni Helios
A Wildfire's Concern !

" Can't believe I went and saved a brat. " Agni complained to himself. " Now I'll have to hear Elfman's loud a** mouth and Kale's arrogant bolstering. " His red brows came together in a annoyed expression as he imagined their gripes and noise. If it wasn't for the subtle calming of Magnolia's stream flowing underneath the bridge he was traveling on; it was quite possible that carriage could've caught on fire.

He sighed then, realizing that either way he was happy with himself for doing it. Even if it meant hearing the taunts of a few friendly guild members. He went to look towards the boy only to catch him leaping up and telling him that he'd meet him at Fairy Tail. Agni reached out for the collar of the kid's gi but was a second too late. He placed his hands on the window sill, shoving his head out the window and staring calmly at the kid's landing. " Nice show kiddo, nice show. " he said under his breathe.

He brought himself back and inside and sat comfortably in the seat, his hand dangling between his legs as he thought.

" That's some kid huh ? " The driver called out while keep his eyes on the road.

The sound of the horses hooves clattering against the cobblestone echoed in Agni's ears before he responded. " Nahh, not even a little.. I'm the real show. " he told him a bit obnoxiously. Him and the driver went back and forth on Agni's status in the Guild. This went on for thirty or forty minutes and only because Agni needed a way to vent his already -burning- anger out.

Finally he had reached Fairy Tail, so he waved off the driver and walked into the guild. As usual the ruckus in their exploded as soon as he pushed opened the door. There, the roars of the town most energetic and popular people were shattering the air.

" Yo, Welcome back Agni. Did you get to show off how Manly you were this mission ? " boomed Elfman as he barked out to him, his bicep wrapped around the head of another man.

Agni shrugged his shoulders, a bit of fire flickering off his forearms in the process. " I was as manly as you look right now. " yelled Agni with challenge in his voice. His brows pulled together and a crooked grin decorated his face. Then a smell touched his nose, it was feminine in nature but a bit outdoorsy as well... maybe something like a flower. Agni stomped over towards a table, his hair beginning to flutter as heat raised off of him. " HEY ! BRAT ! " he shouted, tossing the table onto the second story of the Guild House.

The whole guild grew silent, it wasn't at all rare for a member to toss a table or two but Agni's next reaction was bit shocking. Almost immediately his fire simmered down and his snarled expression faded. " Tsk, " he sighed aggravated, his hands massaging the bridge of his nose. He turned towards the guild, keeping in mind that the boy was sleeping peacefully behind him. " Mira you think you could find this kid a room. I'll pay for it for tonight. "

He was bit confused as too why he was responding to the kid so differently from the others. Maybe it was because he was Dragon Slayer like him. Either way, it was sorta irritating him and he needed to burn off some stream. " Oh well, " said the Fire Dragon Slayer. " Elfman want see who's the best ? Your Takeover or my Fire Dragon Slayer Magic ? " He gripped his wrist and set it aflame with his crimson fire.

As Ace watched the bellowing avalanche roll down the mountain side he began to run before it caught up to him. He ran down the snowy landscape until he came to the base of the mighty Mount Hakobe.

"Ah, well hope I enjoyed training while it lasted now I need to actually do stuff." Ace thought to himself as he walked along one of the main roads heading to magnolia.

"Hmm I think I will be taking this train back home." Ace said before jumping onto the steam train that roared past. He landed on top of one of the carriages with a loud thud, the people inside the train exclaimed at once and looked up at the roof. Ace sat down with the wind rushing through his long hair. and his hoodie flailing in the wind.

* * *

As the train pulled up to the station Ace jumped off and transformed into his wolf-forme to attract little attention.

"Goddamit this place is so loud." Ace growled walking through the streets of Magnolia.

Before long Ace had finally reached the main attraction, Fairy Tail guildhouse. Before opening the doors Ace returned to his normal self and pushed the doors open to see a splendid feast he tried to slip through and get to a table without anyone noticing but one person imparticular pointed him out, Mirajane.

"Ace your back oh boy you must be tired, what do you want for lunch?" She asked

"Just some chicken thanks" Ace continued before welcomes were thrown at him from all over the room.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah Thankyou all for welcoming me back. I feel right at home here!" Ace said to everyone before walking over to a table whilst grabbing some Sarsparilla (cause I can) and sat down sipping slowly as he saw a familiar face.

A Wildfire's Concern !

Agni lowered his fist as soon as he caught wind of Ace entering the building. He could have sworn that Ace had left before him, so why in the world was he entering the Guild House after him. Not that it was exactly his place but as the Guild house's "Wildfire" it would be unlike him to not cause a ruckus over it. He walked over to Ace, his emerald eyes calm as he approached him.

"So you were training huh ?" he asked crudely, standing across from Ace on the opposite side of the table. "Let see how much stronger you've gotten." He said quickly, his fist blazing over with crimson flames as he raised it up. He stuck his fist out towards Ace, wondering if he would accept his challenge or not. The kid had been put to bed so their was no need for holding back anymore. It was time to start turning things to ash.
