Okay, here goes character number two! Who interestingly enough is both my first attempt at having multiple characters in an RP and my first attempt at playing a female character.

Ah, first post in a good while, Sorry if its a bit short.

Well, guys, after a hiatus because of school, work, and having no computer at home I am coming back. However, I will be coming back as Alice for now, since I ran out of inspiration for Charlie and Jimmy. Both of their absences will be explained later.

Dexter Patrick Prince is a fairly good-looking guy, and roughly more on the boyish handsome rather than the classy handsome. His dirty blonde hair reminds people of the color of a sunflower field. He keeps it messy and refuses to comb it, unless the occasion is really important. His slanted eyes are steel-like in color, a deep grayish-silver.

Physically, Dex stands 5'7". He is lightly built. Other people describe Dex as 'reedy' but he consistently worked out, resulting to subtle muscle cuts in his arms and legs. His skin is originally a deep-white but, being under the sun for far too long, Dex developed a light tan. His wardrobe consists mostly of plain, white t-shirts and comfy shorts. He preferred traveling around in loose clothes rather than casual suits like pants and polos. However, he has a change of wardrobe consisting of a pair of blue jeans and a green polo shirt.

He has a silver piercing in his right ear.

Personality:

If there is one word that can describe Dex, it would be that Dex is a rule-breaker. Ever since he had the mind to think, he knew that following rules is not the thing for him. He grew up in the streets, along with other street urchins, so he had not the formal education to be trained to follow the social way the world is constructed. When he was a young kid, he'd been constantly followed by the Pokémon police because of causing mischief (none big enough to cause real trouble. You know, the occasional graffiti, the pickpocketing of food from grocers, the bullying of wild Pokémon, and such). However, when a local professor gave him and a few other urchins their Pokémon, Dex managed to learn that he'd have to conform to at least the basics of rules in being a trainer so as to progress as a trainer. He is hard at work with this.

Because of his lack in formal education, Dex found writing hard at work. He is not illiterate, as he could do some basic reading, but he just found writing really painstaking. He went under the tutelage of the said local professor to practice his handwriting but he still avoided it if he can. He is also not really familiar with the technicalities of Pokémon battling and other things, despite being a competent trainer. His strategies were unorthodox at the most, but his novel battling techniques are so unique that it sometimes surprises his opponents.

In the presence of the group, Dex is more often the black sheep. Being in a group means following a certain sets of rules but, as previously said, Dex find that hard. If he finds other ways to ensure the success of the group, he'll bend the rules to do it. He even sometimes neglects his duty as a member of the group for self-satisfaction. He discovered that he works best when there is no one around him to dictate what he must do. He is not the leader-type nor the subordinate-type. Dex is just the kind of guy who does not work well in a group.

History:

Dexter Patrick Prince grew up in an orphanage in Castelia City. Nobody at the establishment knew about Dex' heritage but many had guessed that he came from a very wealthy family since somebody donated a large sum of money when they took in Dex. Nobody came back to claim him, and Dex grew up with the other orphans. Security inside the building is lax, so Dex and other kids always take the opportunity to go outside the city and play, like city rats. The result of this wild upbringing is Dex' severe disregard for rules and regulations. Why will you anyway if you've got the whole world at your mercy? Such is the naivety of the kids.

Everything changed when a professor arrived at Castelia City and arranged that the kids from the orphanage be taught in the basics of Pokémon battling. He also offered to train those kids who were not taught to read and write to managed basic reading and writing. Dex was one of the kids under this program. He was not a low-minded kid; he just found that the classes were boring so he lost interest in whatever the professor was teaching. In result, Dex was not properly informed of the technicalities of battling.

However, despite of his formal knowledge of Pokémon, his street technique (that is, his battling style) emerged as remarkable. The professor rated Dex as one of the best battlers among the orphans. When the program ended, Dex was one of the top students and was given by the professor their first Pokémon and Pokedex. The professor arranged the release of the orphans, and they started out their journeys as Pokémon trainers.

Dex was glad that he managed to 'escape' the orphanage for good. His starting Pokémon, Pansage, is a good company. The professor took a liking to him. He offered Dex and another of the orphans to accompany him to Kanto, where he previously worked. Both of them agreed. So Dex, a Unova-citizen, left his region, and left for Kanto in order to start his journey fresh. Upon reaching the region, the professor dropped the girl in Fuchsia City where she will start her journey. Dex, he dropped at Pewter City. H wished him good luck and that was the last Dex heard of the professor. Dex was in a new place, a fresh start. He decided to get all the badges (one of the few things that stuck with him), starting with Pewter City. He defeated the current leader with ease, Pansage being an equally good Pokémon as Dex is a battler. However, the duo struck low at the next gym. Despite the type advantage, the Gym Leader defeated the two without batting an eyelash. She described Dex as a 'good battler in need of education.' She referred him to Gary Oak's Academy. It was then that Dex knew that he really needs that 'education', whatever that is.

Appearance:
Due to his nearly constant trips trough caves all over the region Silas has skin white as snow and his hair has turned black and grown long, just past his shoulders, and to keep it out of his dark green eyes he pulls it into a pony tail.
Silas is a mere 5' tall which is a size that helps when he needs to fit through a small tunnel when he's spelunking.
He also has a huge color selection in his skinny jeans, he once tried to list all of the colors he could get pants in but he gave up at 4 pages of his pocket-notebook. For shirts he has only 3 colors in his wardrobe; white, black, and Grey.
His left ear is ripped through at the top from an accident in a cave in memory of the accident he got a larvitar tattoo behind that ear.

Personality: silent. He is not rude in his silence, he always responds politely to questions people ask him, however he always seems to feel more comfortable with their Pokemon. Silas relishes showers and is known to stand under freazing water for hours at a time. He also enjoys hallucinogenic fungi, much like the halucinogenic fungi paras Inadvertantly brought for him to eat in the caves.
Silas has come to the realization through meditation and life encounters that it is his job to stop chaos and bring peace to the world.
He is very much a person who is just as comfortable in the shadows as he is in the spotlight, since the day that his mom died he has spent time in both places. Dissolving corrupt organizations from the inside he has had large amounts of attention in local medias, but never much more than that.

He is funded by a clothing store which he founded, LARVITAR INDUSTRIES. It takes the art of pokemon trainers and Pokemon alike and puts it on shirts as well as providing 'pants every color of he rainbow' needless to say the store is extremely popular and profitable.
He is very much a person who is driven by grief as much as he is driven by his quest for peace.

History: Sillas father was a great cave explorer in the johto and kanto regions. That is to say 'great' not 'well-known for being a'. He was better known for becoming a Pokemon champion. However Silas didn't know any of this about his dad. All Silas knew was that he'd much prefer any man over the one who physically abused he and his mother with the help of an exceptionally heavy intake of alcohol. Maybe if his dad had stayed until he was born he would have seen how great his son was and never left.
Anyway, one morning Silas woke up to screams which he had never heard and found his mom and step-dad lying on the floor blood guts gore etc. He ran. What would you expect a 7 year old boy to do when confronted by the corpse of his mother?

He ran from his city (cerulean) through the wilderness into a nearby cave. He stayed there for 7 weeks living off various fungi which were left for him by a kindhearted paras. and on the 7th day of the 7th week he came across a zubat nest being attacked by 3 geodude. Having lived in the darkness of his remorse for his dead mother he had decided he would never again allow abuse against anything. Because of this he attacked the geodude. of course his actions were futile since geodude are rocks and Silas was just a 7 year old kid. But the paras who had been feeding him came to the rescue and blocked the rock throw aimed at Silas and countered with an absorb attack aimed right at the first geodudes eye. That sent him running and his partners were so scared of the little paras that they ran too. The zubat were grateful for this and gave silas and his new partner refuge in their flock. Every night a golbat would escort him into the outside and show him various berries and bugs which would be safe for him to eat and at the end of 7 months the golbats egg hatched. 'Saliva'

During his first year of cave-life he decided that all humans were evil because all he could remember of the human world was the scene of his mother and the man.

During his second year away from home he came into contact with a man who spent a year training and meditating alongside his medicham. On the last day of the 11th month that the man was in the cave Silas revealed himself to the medicham who introduced him to the man the same day. For the 12th month the man and Silas spent time together meditating. Because of this man silas decided not all humans were evil

The third year after the death of his mother he left the cave and returned to cerulean and walked the roads until he found the gym. THEY WERE BEATING EACH OTHER UP!! He burst in and Subdued the people and Pokemon in the gym with moon's stun spore and saliva's super sonic. Misty came to him, knelt in front of this small 9 year old boy and explained Pokemon battling to him. Silas decided he must find the man he meditated with and confrot him and medicham.

His fourth year away from home we find him in the hoenn regions dewford town. He has tracked medicham and the man to this town. Speaking with townspeople is painless, his memory now 4 years old of his bloody mother lying on the floor, they say a man who fits the description is in the gym. He goes and finds the gym in blackness. People try to surprise him but he can see better than they in this light. Silas gets to the back of the gym. Medicham is sitting on the right, hitmontop spins on its head on the left, the man in the middle. All meditating. Silas sits in front of the man, saliva in front of hitmontop and moon-eye in front of medicham. They don't move for three days. On the third day the man stands, then medicham, then hitmontop stops spinning and stands. 'I am Brawly, the leader of this gym. I remember your presence. The sadness is deadened by friendships you have made but it is not gone. My Body still tells me to weep for your loss. Battle me'
'no, I do not believe in harming anything or anyone.'
Medichams telekinesis: 'you do not understand, this is more than what's right or wrong. This is a war between peace and chaos. Some people battle because they relish the feeling of power or the rush of adrenaline in the moment. Maybe it is only a hobby to them but they are only mimics of the real battle.
'it is a battle of you and I against those who wish to create chaos. You have secluded yourself from the world and you are young which leaves you with little knowledge of those who would create chaos...'. And at the end of the 4th year Silas found himself at peace with battling as long as it was against chaos. He did not relish the fight, it was not a hobby. It was his destiny to convey peace. But how would he be able to do that without an education?

His fifh year away from home: Silas can now write, read, and calculate basic numbers. Brawly has taught him these things. Even giving Silas street experience by sending him on missions to take down smal criminal organizations. But Silas knows that it will take a lot more than this to become a true peacekeeper. He respectively leaves brawlys gym to find a way to take down major corporations.

year six away from home and Silas is catching the eye of criminals. The target of assassinations from larger groups who's minor branches Silas has corrupted and attacked., so far Silas has easily stopped what he believes to be pathetic attempts at assassination while continuing his work. But What Silas has not taken into account is that as he crushes the smaller criminal groups and weaker branches of larger groups he is only giving stroger branches free space to grow and become more powerful. And while the large organizations grow the assassinations become more powerful until Silas finds himself lying on the ground, poison flowing his veins, Saliva laying at his side 2 wings obviously broken. A masked figure, standing next to a muk who has just engulfed moon-eye, raising a knife, plunging, glinting, toward him.. Stopping.. a mere inche from Silas' heart The knife is hovering. The man is beginning to put more wieght on the blade Silas feels a pressure. the barrier breaks. The knife slides between his ribs. He gasps for air. The moonlight fades. The shadows of the underside of the sycamore leaves grow larger. They merge with each other. They become everything. Nothing hurts.
Silas wake up on the floor, but there's no grime 'Chansey, chansey'. Silas is physically lifted up from the floor and put down again, it's softer here. The smell is One which Silas has never experienced before.
'stop writhing, you'll pull your stiches' that voice, it feels like playful fungus, but I haven't had any for so long. Shadows start appearing in his vision. Things start hurting again. A girl with deep black hair with a mime jr. Standing on her shoulder are on one side of he table. On the other was a red haired lady and A Chansey.
'what happened?'
The black haired lady speaks 'you are deemed an asset by the headmaster. I was sent to recruit you. You're lucky I found you when I did, if I hadnt you would be dead. I'm sorry you had to be stabbed. Mr. Is still in training and he couldn't hold a shield between you and the knife and take care of that muk at the same time. But he was able to deflect the blade so that it would miss your heart, lungs, and major veins and arteries.
'right now we are on a helicopter traveling to an island where many young people, much like yourself are being trained to use their personal powers to their full potential. It wil be safe for you since there are so many trainers there no one will attempt to take your life during your stay.
'you may find yourself meeting new companions, Pokemon and trainers alike.'
'moon-eye' silas finds speaking surprisingly easy after being stabbed in the chest. 'saliva, where are they?'
The women turn down their heads, Silas notices the ginger has on a hat wih a plus on it 'whAt does your hat mean?'
'im a nurse, nurse joy. Your crobat is currently wearing a splint on one of her from wings and one of her back wings... Moon-eye didn't make it, the muks toxins destroyed her mushroom and ate through her exoskeleton.'

Year 7 day one: silas raises his head and sees a horizon that seems to continue forever. His grief continues forever. He is not longer at peace within himself, rage and pain that he hasn't felt for years storm within him like the waves below, lasting forever. He must end this forever, that is his new goal. 'I will join your island, but I require a place to meditate in silence where I will not be disturbed.'
'we look forward to having you.'

Personality: extremely clever, Saliva took all of the lessons alongside moon-eye and Silas. Saliva is wracked with pain from the loss of moon-eye who helped to raise her from an egg alongside Silas. Very adventerous Saliva likes to fly in all conditions, and prefers to keep her eyes closed and use supersonic waves to navigate, just like when she was a zubat.
