Ohai, yes. I have an issue with Safely Remove Hardware. It worked correctly before, but not now. Here's what happens:

Previously, whenever I used an SD card in my built-in reader on my Desktop Computer, I could use Safely Remove Hardware and nothing would happen, but now, whenever I use it, and try to safely remove a SD card (whether it is a MicroSD and a MicroSD adapter or a normal SD card), all my drives (G: H: I: J:) except for my disc drive, E: all disappear. I cannnot use any SD cards, USB ports or anything. I have to restart my computer to gain access to all my drives again, and I have to Eject anything in my Computer to remove it and still have access to my drives. Is there a fix for this? And is using Eject a bad habit?

If you're using the context menu eject (right click), I believe it does the exact same thing. That's a weird behavior, though. Not sure what might be wrong. Maybe run a virus scan with Microsoft Security Essentials to see if something bad may be screwing up your computer, just in case.

I ran a scan, and there was no viruses of any kind. So viruses aren't the problem here.
