Pokémon II

Intro:

This RPG takes place in an alternate universe where the games, show and comics do not. However many of the same places, regions and islands are still here.

This RPG is also a direct sequel to my last RPG known as "Pokémon".

Plot:

It is said in ancient myth that the world will end as a glitch. No one really understood what it meant until that day, three years ago. The ancient writings on the wall can no longer be neglected by the tides of time. Slowly they begin to change and demand attention.
Though Missingno has been defeated, there are still sightings and reports of alternate dimensions and planes opening and abducting people in a dream-like world. It is because of this that the world may still be in danger.
Trainers now embark on an extraordinary journey that offers countless paths to rise to the zenith of Pokémon mastery. In due time, trainers will be making their names known everywhere. The rural west, the bustling east, the northern mountains, and the southern seacoast--they call out for ambitious Pokémon Trainers and offer them gigantic opportunities to become the ultimate trainer.
What awaits our young trainers in their great adventure? And what is the cause of these sudden rips in the very fabric of time and space? Only time, courage and teamwork can tell in the exciting adventure of....

History: Rina lived in the Orre region most of her life, and didn't have a pokemon until she was 10, when Rain had been passing through. Rain gave her an Eevee, since then, Rina has trained to be a great coordinator.

Appearance: Luther has shoulder-length black hair, and is often seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, light brown pants, and dark brown hiking boots. Luther also wears a white trenchcoat. On the back of the coat lies an odd symbol resembling an "X" with a vertical line through the center. The symbol is surrounded by a circle, inside of which a complicated, nonsensical series of small runic symbols are inscribed. After 3 years, his fashion sense still hasn't changed.

Personality: Like his role model, Luther is enthusiastic and hot-blooded. He is constantly seeking to test his abilities, and will rarely ever back down from a challenge he deems worthy.

History: At a young age, Luther joined the Vermillion City Pokémon Fanclub after witnessing a Pokémon battle between Lt. Surge and another trainer. Surge lost that fight, but the battle sparked Luther's interest in Pokémon. Over time, his interest grew, and he became a trainer himself. Few people are aware that Luther is in fact a member of the Pokemon League's Paranormal Investigation Bureau, and even fewer know that his partner is the Saffron City gym leader Sabrina. 3 years ago, the two of them, as well as several other trainers, were involved in a global catastrophe, culminating in Luther delivering the finishing blow to a strange, corporeal phenomenon known as "Missingno". He has made some drastic alterations to his pokemon team since then, in preparation for any possible future threats.

Appearance: Somewhat short, Xavier also has a fairly light build. He wears a red T-shirt and blue shorts, plus a blue jacket with a marsh badge emblem on it, just as a homeage to Saffron. Blue eyes and blonde hair, with a playful gleam almost perpetual in his eyes.

Personality: Always ready for a battle, and is actually usually out looking for a fight while he trains. He can be a bit overzealous, and sometimes blurts things out during conversations. Sometimes he can be a real pain...

History: Nothing unusual, left on a journey a year ago with a Seedot, which was an anonymous gift from someone. Shortly after leaving Saffron, he caught a Poochyena on the outskirts of Celadon City. Long story short, Seedot helped to catch it, and promptly evolved afterwards. Caught his Carvanha from a river fairly near
Saffron. Usually travels with a purpose in mind, to get from point A to point B, but occasionally just wanders for a while. He is currently traveling through an unknown territory...

Appearance: Miles stands at 159 centimetres high and weighs an approximate of 55 kilograms. He has short black hair often adorned by a 'Mambo' beanie. His skin is lightly tanned and is clothed by a white long-sleave (rolled) collar shirt as well as a pair of grey buckle-braced trousers. His attire also includes a pair of white grey sneakers. A dog-tag chained by a silver necklace rests across his shoulders and around his neck. The word 'Reach' is also printed upon the tag.

Personality: Miles is a quiet and generally shy person who does not like confrontations or large crowds. He does not converse well with others and tends to wonder off alone. He is caring of the people he considers to be 'true' friends.

History: Miles spent much of his childhood living at home with his legal guardians of which he had recently discovered were not his biological parents. His legal guardians then mysteriously disappeared after Miles had turned thirteen, forcing him to become more independent. With the help of a close family friend, Miles was taken in again, until he became old enough to move out on his own. A year later, Miles ventured off into the country in search for his missing parents.

Appearence: Rika has long blue hair which stops right above her waist line, her bangs end at her forehead. She has light-purple colored eyes. Personality: Rika is naïve and young, she easily gets into problems and doesn't take responsibility for her actions. She is energetic and loves to battle however, she is easily distracted and is clumsy.

History: Rika grew up in Fuchsia City. She received her first Pokemon, Venonat, from Janine after a trip to the Safari Zone. Her parents sent her to Celadon City for her aunt to take care of her. Nothing out of the ordinary happened during her stay at Celadon City… her aunt allowed her to travel after Rika gave her an Eevee doll she had gotton from her parents.

Appearence: Jason stands at 5'9 and has an athletic build due to his constant training with his water Pokémon and his love of water sports. He is slightly tanned and has brown spiky hair. His eyes are Sapphire Blue. He wears a black polo with navy blue cargo pants that are baggy and wears black sneakers. He also wears a Yin-Yang necklace.

Personality: Jason is reserved and modest, and can be arrogant at times. He is also very smart and has quite an amount of wit. When it comes to battles, he is always focused and determined to win. Even though he only trains two types of Pokémon, he trains his Pokémon really well to be hard to defeat even against Pokémon that are strong against his type (Water/Ice). If he loses, he brushes it off coolly and congratulates & thanks his opponent for a great match. His arrogance can sometimes inflate the big "ego" of his but he is only joking when he is in this mood and is pretty "down-to-earth." He also does a good job at hiding his emotions which can be a good thing and a bad thing. He is very friendly however, once he is comfortable with a person and gains his/her trust.

History: The Broadwell family was known for quite a while back when they owned a gym. His older sister was the gym leader and the gym was known to use Pokémon of the Water/Ice type. This was how Jason was influenced and loved these type of Pokémon. He always had enjoyed spending time with the Pokémon and learning about them once his sister was done battling for the day. Unfortunately, over time his parents had died in a plane crash, and a little while later sister had married someone and moved on with her life abandoning her gym leader commitment. He then lived with his grandmother. At the time Jason was still only nine years old and was too young to carry on as gym leader and this really upset him. And because of this the gym was left abandoned and was closed. The next 2 years, when he turned 11, he set out to be the best Water/Ice Pokémon trainer and eventually follow his family's footsteps and become a gym leader. Now, the successor of Misty and the new Cerulean City Gym Leader. He still looks up to her as well as Lorelei from the Elite Four whose specialty is Ice Type Pokemon.

Strategy: Lower stats of opponents, Strengthen stats of his Pokemon. Confusion as well sometimes. Then powerful attacks.

Extra: Jason had a bad experience with Ghost type Pokémon during his journey. While traveling in a dark and foggy forest, he encountered these Pokémon which were fooling around with his mind by showing images of a plane crashing into an ocean and images of his parents. He was horrified by this and fainted. When he awoke the next day, he realized that he was rescued by someone and was brought to a Pokémon Center. He has been afraid of Ghost Pokémon ever since.

Appearance: Golden hair in a ponytail, emreald green eyes, peach skin, ear peireced, wears a Black sleevless shirt, black leather pants, wears a White cloak with the picture of a oorburoo ( snake eating it's own tail) on the back and has a six pack, also has a Yen-yang tatoo on his back, he looks like he is seven or eight rather then 14.

Personality: AJ's personality is Quite undecided, He's quite the prankster at times and other time's seirious or dramatic and depressed, he's a randomizer when it comes to personality.


History: AJ's history is being on a journey with Terra his sister and another teen named richard across the hohen reigon and stopped a team called team Regi.

Role Model: Many say he looks up to the Dragon Master Lance, because of his amazing skills with dragons.

Personality: Not the talkative type, but not quiet either
History: He is now widely known as one of the best trainers in the world, for his skill in defeating some of the best trainers out there. He does not consider himself that great, maybe because he does not really care who he beats, but cares more about his Pokemon. Caring for them, keeping them safe, and training them to his liking. Not much is known about Tyrel's past, all a clouded mystery which is really only known by himself, which he does not like to reveal. The rest of the world has much speculation, but no actual proof.

History: Mace is lives alone ever since mace was 16 his Parent's settled in Kanto and his Sister became a trainer in jhoto. He Is usally only seen Battleing, Training, or Traveling. Later in time ever since he had to deal with missingno, his growlith evolved into an Arcanine and He had a Dark side of himself stuck in his mind almost controling him.

Personality: Kyle is a freindly person and gets along with many. He sometimes acts before he thinks, which can get him into trouble. He will do whatever it takes to get his friends out of trouble. He also likes to read and draw in his spare time.

History: Kyle grew up in Goldenrod city with his mom and dad. When he was about 9 his parents got him a Marrep for his birthday. Kyle hasen't realy left home much, except for his visit to Hoenn with his dad, which is wear he caught Shroomish and Corphish. He now lives in New Bark town where he helps Prof. Elm in his pokemon studies.

Group: Ex-Admin of a Water Type "exclusive" Trainer Group.

POKéMON: Wartortle (Shellshocker), Kingdra (Drake), Marshtomp (Numa)

Appearance: Brad has messy brown hair, which is somewhat white but pale blue. He is well built and has a nice athletic body since he is constantly active by surfing. He also is very tanned due to him always being out in the sun. He wears black surfer shorts with a large outline of a pokeball on each side of his shorts, which has a double line that connects the pokeball outline to the waist. With this, he wears an opened blue Hawaiian shirt decorated not only by the different shades of blue but also by white flowers that are native to that area. The shirt at the bottom is crowed with white flowers and as it gets higher there are less and less flowers shown on the shirt. With this outfit he wears black Adilette sandals, which have again a white outline of a pokeball on each one with a double-line coming from their sides and touching the sole of the sandal. He also wears a necklace made up of stones that can be found around a beach and in the center of the necklace there is a red stone that is curved out to look like a shrimp. Brad also wears a pair of black frame, smoke lens sunglasses, which are small and clip on to his nose and still show some of his eye. He also carries around a white surfboard with him that is decorated with blue flame coming upwards from the bottom left-hand corner of the board. Within the flame there is a black outline of a water-type Pokemon in battle position, which seems to look like Kyogre. In the center of the surfboard there seems to be another black outline of a symbol which looks sort of like an "A" made by a drop of water with two bones sticking out of it. The symbol seems faded and has scratches on it as if Brad doesn't want it there. Other then that it's a really cool surfboard. Aside from all of this, Brad is actually good-looking and most girls go after him.

Personality: Brad is usually calm and cool and easy to talk to you. He is into a lot of things and never really judges people, which give him a cool appeal to most people. In other words he gets along with everyone. It is also because of this attitude that he can be viewed as a bit lazy and too relaxed.

History: Brad always lived in Cinnabar for as much as he could remember. He enjoys the beach a lot and chose to surf as a hobby, which later became a daily activity. However he slowly but surely realized that Cinnabar has become less of an actual place to live and more of a resort. He also realized that Pokemon training has become a joke on his home island and that Blaine was usually the skipped Gym Leader. It's because of this that Brad grew an interest of Pokemon. He wanted to know what the big fuss was all about. Soon he realized that Pokemon Training is a lot of hard work and dedication. His first Pokemon was actually a Squirtle, which he ran into while he surfed. It would show up from time to time until finally it just stuck to him and became a friend of his while he surfed, it soon of course evolved into a Wartortle during an intense fight with an old friend. His team only grew as he found a beached Kingdra that was stuck in a net, when he freed it, it joined him on its own as a way of being in his debt for saving his life. His actual real captured pokemon was a Mudkip which evoloved into a Marshtomp during battle but with the help of his Wartortle he was able to capture the Marshtomp he found in the mud of the beach successfully. With this victory, he realized what he had to do, and that was to show that Cinnabar still has some potential trainers that should not be ignored. Soon he became recognized and Cinnabar slowly became attractive to Trainers especially certain groups of trainers that had a close eye on Brad's potential. He soon became an Admin rather quickly in this certain water type exclusive trainer group but dropped out of it as he thought it was not the right path for him to take. It is because of this that he suddenly finds himself in tough trainer battles and why some trainers from other shady groups find him so familiar due to widespread rumors and greatness amongst the "exclusive" pokemon trainer groups.

Rival: Anyone who wishes to challenge him and/or steal his Pokemon.

Strategy: "Wipe out!"

Trainer's Pokémon: "Surfs up!"

Self-Introduction: "Careful, high tide!"

Extra: Shellshocker has been through countless battles, which gives him scars, creating a scratched shell and a large facial scar that cuts right through his right eye, which he now keeps closed. He also likes to surf with Brad and is usually standing at the top of the surfboard. He is also very aggressive but seems to get along with Brad quite well. It also does not like to be kept in a Pokeball and chooses to follow Brad by his side.

Drake has a rip in his fins and is also missing half of his left antenna from the accident it had when it was caught in the net. Aside from these traits it looks rather old yet cool all at the same time. It is also pretty smart in battle but could sometimes make clumsy mistakes due to its age, which explains how it could have been caught in the net to begin with.

Numa is the only normal looking Pokemon Brad really has. He is also one of Brad's surfing partners and rather then sharing a surfboard with Brad like how Shellshocker does, he has his own. The surfboard is red and has a white line going down vertically through it. He is also very happy and is always up for a new challenge.

Hmm, after all those questions I've been asking, I've decided that my first two character ideas won't work for this RPG. Therefore:

Name: Eve Darkstar (That is not her real last name, but...)
Title: Hex Master
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Birth Date: December 31 (that's how she got her first name)
Birthplace: Lavender Town, Kanto
Height: Exactly five feet
Weight: Exactly ninety pounds
Role Model: Other people think people like Harley, Sabrina, and Morty, but Eve cannot compare herself to any of them.
Group: Dark Friends' Alliance (She didn't come up with the name of course), which is currently trying to work with the Pokemon League Paranormal Investigation Bureau
Pokemon:
Samara the Banette--Known to be one of the most dangerous Banette around. Other than that, her personality's very similar to Eve's--she's obviously Eve's best Pokemon. Unfortunately, Eve and the other Dark Friends are the only people she ca really be (sort of) friendly with.
Happy the Houndoom--Named "Happy" because she's a lot calmer and sweeter than the normal Houndoom. She's very optimistic and shows a lot of love, but she's not the type that gets scared easily either--she laughs in the face of danger. In battle, she likes to have fun with her attacks rather than hit the foe with them.
Artemis the Xatu--Definitely a very odd Xatu. She's not very good with predicting the future, and she loves the night but hates mornings. For the most part her head is in the clouds, though she doesn't really sit still all that often. Her favourite pastime is flying above the clouds at night, especially when the moon is out.
Appearance: Eve has fairly long black hair and dark blue eyes. Her skin colour is light thanks to spending much time in the night, and her build is kind of the opposite of muscular (but not skinny or fat either) from not being very active. As for her attire, she wears a long-sleeved shirt in a deep, bright blue, plus a black and purple skirt that goes almost down to her feet. Finishing that are a purple hat with red stripes, black gloves, black boots, and a silver necklace in the shape of a cat with red eyes.
Personality: Eve loves anything supernatural--in fact, she lives for it. As far as her personality goes, she's quiet and patient, and she's quite clever as well. But she also tends to not follow the rules or the ordinary way of things, and she also is quite sadistic--she especially likes scaring people. As for Pokemon, her favorite types are Psychic, Ghost, and Dark. Whenever anything like fans gather around her, she thanks them without showing too much ego. However, she's not so good with relationships and romance--in fact, she hates both.
History: Eve lived in Lavender Town most of her life. Her father was a physics teacher and her mother an engineer, and both shared a bold, realistic attitude. Eve picked up on that perspective during her earliest years. However, her first interests in what lay beyond the practical world were sparked when she was 8, when she saw a magic show. The magician called himself Happy Dan, and his act messed up completely--he was supposed to pull a Pikachu out of a hat and instead got a Voltorb which exploded on him. Eve laughed at this, thinking she could do much better. However, a while later when she first pursued this passion, she realized that her parents would disapprove. Since neither of her parents weren't that involved with Pokemon, Eve was fascinated when she first saw one, which happened to be a Gastly. Eve wasn't scared of it, even though she was only 12. In fact, the two became friends. However, this Gastly often showed up at her house to scare her parents. Therefore, it wasn't long before Eve got in trouble and lost her parents' trust.

After that, Eve had a strong inclination to run away, but she didn't know how to survive on her own... Even Gastly couldn't help because it knew nothing about life, being a ghost. Therefore, Eve lived the next few years in isolation--she no longer spoke to her parents. She visited Gastly often as well. However, there was one day when Gastly vanished forever. All it left was a message: "My daughter can help you." Eve didn't know what this meant until a couple of years later. That day when Eve turned 16, Eve made up her mind to run away, even when Gastly was no longer on her side.

When Eve reached Saffron City, she found that a Pokemon researcher from a distant continent had come to visit. Like Professor Oak, this researcher (who called herself Professor Willow) gave out Pokemon to beginning trainers. However, trainers didn't pick from 3 starters--they got whichever Pokemon fit their personal needs and personality the best. Interested in Pokemon, Eve joined the crowd. Professor Willow was obviously an expert at this type of analysis, because Eve got a Shuppet as her first Pokemon. Not too long after that, Eve caught two other Pokemon with the help of Shuppet.

As Eve gained training experience over the next few years, her passion for magic grew as well--moreso than her Pokemon. She especially loved to take part in battle competitions and contests, not for the sake of winning but for the sake of expressing herself as well as her Pokemon, whom she had grown quite attached to in that time (especially her Shuppet, which had evolved). And she had never won these competitions either, though she did come very close once. It was a competition she really wanted to win, for the winner would become the gym leader of a new city called Silver Town. She had always wanted to become a gym leader. The competition was long, and Eve did an outstanding job in the first few rounds. During the competition, Eve got introduced into this fan club of sorts called the Dark Friends Alliance, a group who looked to the darker side of the world, to uncover underlying meanings and use them for the better of the world at the most. Even though Eve lost the final battle in the competition to a guy named Merlin, she felt that she had already won this alliance as a prize.

Unfortunately, Eve must have jinxed the Dark Friends Alliance ever since she joined. Tiffany, the group's leader, lost her Murkrow shortly after a battle with a strange girl named Kelsey, who later posed a real threat to the group. The Murkrow just simply ran away from Tiffany and into the hands of a little girl, then eventually to Kelsey. Also, the group began to become largely overshadowed by a larger and more official group called the Pokemon League Paranormal Investigation Bureau. They were the group that targeted a real threat to the world, Missingno. Eve and Tiffany decided that if they couldn't beat them, they could join them, so currently they're trying to establish some sort of pact with the bureau...

Rival: Eve has three big ones. First of all, there's Kelsey, the girl that took away Tiffany's Murkrow and also shared a telepathic bond with her Pokemon. Then there's Merlin, the man that became gym leader of Silver Town instead of her. Then there's Sabrina, who played a huge role in the advancement of the Paranormal Investigation Bureau and was also a good friend of Kelsey.

Strategy: It differs with her Pokemon.
Using Samara--Bring them down as slowly and painfully as possible.
Using Happy--Use a creative mix of moves to psyche the foe out.
Using Artemis--Stall, then finish quickly at the last minute.
Trainer's Pokemon: The dynamic trio: Psychic, Ghost, and Dark.
Self-introduction: The show's just as important as the battle. (Who cares if it's a battle or a contest battle? By the way, she likes both.)

It's a hot summer day and school is out, in the tropical island of Cinnabar what's a better summer activity than surfing? That's right, surfing season is now in session. Of course, difference in seasons has never stopped this young trainer from hitting the waves with his board before.

Brad is surfing on a wave that is at least 10 feet. Pretty big, and he is surfing it with a big smile on his face as other surfers are losing balance and falling in the ocean. Accompaning the young surfer is a tough Wartortle who is standing at the front of the surfboard enjoying the sport as well.

After surfing the high wave, Brad makes it safely to the shoreline where he is greeted by plenty of girls who seem to be big fans of his.

"Ooo!!! You were wonderful!" One shouts.

"You're so dreamy, can I surf with you?" Another asks.

The swarm of girls crowd Brad without hesitation, trying to be at his side.

"Ladies please, one at a time." Brad laughs.

Just then an announcement can be heard over a loudspeaker coming from a fat man with a mustache who at his side is a young skinny surfer who seems to be lost in his own little world and a middle aged man who seems to be some sort of judge.

"Wow! Wasn't that a high tide?" shouts The fatman.

The crowd on the beach goes crazy. Other surfers who fell in the water can be seen climbing out of the ocean in shame, some even covered in seaweed.

"Well, who will reign surpreme in the Surf's Up Contest? Let's leave it to our judges and of course our viewing audience!" The fatman explains.

The crowd goes estatic.

"Well" starts the middle-aged man,

"All of them seem pretty good but I have to give it to contestant Brad for giving a splendid surf over the last wave. It was flawless" He explains.

He turns to the other judge who is the oblivious skinny man. He looks around and points to himself and then smiles,

"Oh, yeah,... right..." He says as if he completely forgot about the surfing contest.

"Umm, I'll have to agree on... everything Greg said... totally man... totally..." He says moving his hands around acting cool.

"Well there you have it Wave fans! Surfer Brad wins the tournament!" The fatman yells in excitment.

The crowd goes crazy. Brad makes it up to the man where he shakeshands and receives a trophy.

"Any words you would like to say?" The fat man asks.

Brad nodded and was handed the microphone.

"Yeah! I would like to thank all of my fans out there who cheered me on and of course my family and friends! Thank you all!" Brad shouts happily.

The crowd goes crazy and a storm of girls come chasing after him. After much talking and autographs, pictures and such, Brad finally is able to leave and make it home.

He throws his trophy on his bed and leans his board on the wall. There can be seen a shelf full of Trophies for surfing, this seems to not be the first time he won such a contest.

He climbs out of a window and ontop of his roof and sits as he now watches the late afternoon sun setting.

Brad seems not so thrilled winning. He looks around and sees plenty of tourists flooding the streets and beaches, not a single Trainer though.

"Man, if only I became more top game especially for Pokemon..." He thinks out loud.

He remembers when he was younger, how Cinnabar used to be an Island of Pokemon Trainers and how Blaine used to be the toughest Gym Leader out there. Now its all gone. If only something big happened in this dull island, maybe then will Trainers flock towards this little island bring it back to life.

Brad thinks this all in his mind with his Wartortle at his side looking over the twilight sky as well..

I started to walk down the lonly corridor, it was a lot to think about.
I had been beaten by a trainer and his powerful Dragonite, I had almost got him beat and then he used a hyper beam.

Good thing that my grandmother had been Sabrina or I might not have gotten the job for a gym leader in Kanto, saffron City. But before I can go to saffron I have to go to cinnabar island for the boat to Fusicha then the train to Saffron. Right now I was on a boat going to cinnabar, it wouldnt be long now, I;m just getting to my room.

As soon as I got to my room we hit dock, I grabbed my stuff and got off the boat, I would need a place to rest for the night. I walked through all the tourist around the area and kept passing houses, wasnt there a hotel somewhere? I stopped at a certain house, there was a teen on the roof with a wartutle. I levitated up to him and asked, " do you know of any hotel's around here?"

As Brad was looking over the ocean as it grew orange from the setting sun he was suddenly startled by a boy appearring out of nowhere, hovering in the sky, asking him about hotels.

Brad is confused and a bit scared of how the boy leviatated up to him.

"What? Hmm...?" Brad muttered.

He looked at the boy with a golden ponytail.

"Another tourist.. figures..how the heck is he floating up here?" Brad thought to himself.

"Hey there. Yeah, there's plenty of hotels here. If you go further down this street and make a right at the third light you should be at 'Blue Wave Hotel'." Brad said giving out directions.

"You'll know you're there if you see a mexican resturant next to it. It would be a yellow building." Brad explained.

"Oh yeah, one more thing. If I was you, I'd walk there on the ground. Not many people here are used to seeing a floating kid in the sky." Brad said still confused on how the kid is floating up in mid-air.

I nodded listening to the Teen, " thanks" I said as stopped levitatating and dropped on the roof landing on my feet. I thought it odd that there wern't many psions in the reigon, well then again not much in Jhoto or Hohen either.

" By the way, do you know when the boat is scheduled to leave for Fuisha city?" I said calmly with not much emotion. " I need to catch it to get to fuisha to get to celadon to take the train to saffron." I said in one breath.
" I'll be the new gymleader there."

Rika stood out in the sand, staring at the sunset. Cold ocean water below started to wash her feet. Rika looked down and giggled and started to run up to the dry sand, away from the water. When the water started to disappear from the shoreline, she ran down to feel the cold mud left behind. Rika sighed and started to pile some sand on top of each other.

Rika gave up trying to play at the beach, "It's just too boring..." she muttered. She put on her polished shoes and dusted the grains of sand on them. The sand seemed stuck on her shoe which frustrated her even more. She began to try to swipe it off, but to no success. Determined, she called her Venomoth to use 'Gust' to try to blow the sand off. One by one, the sand gradually left the top of her shoes. "Yay!!" she yelled and ran over to hug Venomoth.
She opened her eyes and saw somebody on the roof. She pointed him out to Venomoth, "Look, look! Somebody is on that roof!" she said. She giggled and ran to the side of the building while dragging Venomoth to follow her.

"I wonder how he got up there..." she whispered to Venomoth, "maybe he floated... but I don't think so..." Rika's eyes started to light up,"I know! I'll ask him," she exclaimed while turning her head towards the sky,"Hey!!! How did you get up there??"

Brad is still confused.

"Heh, sorry there kid, I have no idea. I'd check the docks in the mornin' if I was you." Brad answered.

Just then he heard the boy's last words, Shellshocker's ears jolted up and turned looking at the boy with his one good eye. The Wartortle looks very threatening.

Brad looks surprised and looks at his Wartortle and then at the kid.

"You? A Gym Leader? Aren't you a bit too young? I mean you're just a kid." Brad explained.

"Wait a sec, if all of this is true then you would be one tough kid huh?" Brad said getting up.

"Finally a real Trainer in Cinnabar" Brad thought

"Hey, why not a quick battle before you go?" Brad asked.

Before the goldern haired boy could answer Shellshocker jumped into battle stance, he looks vicious.

"Careful! High tide!" Brad said introducing a Pokemon battle.
