Heh, the files in that post were the ones I was referring to; I couldn't find that post for some reason...But yeah, I re-downloaded the files and used batch.bat, but Cyclone's still not working at all. I keep getting the same error message.

on my rom it was 2010 (FR) then you change it to 256 colour mode and exprot it

Thant you can change it in Unlz.GBA , i have a video tutorial but
its in spanish , sorry, is near the number 135 i think, i dont remember
now, but you only modify it in Paint and insert it in Unlz, heres an example
of a titlescreen in FR:


You can see that the flames are changed Thats with Unlz

Takeoff!
The colors of the Charizard will change to the ones from your sprite (DUH).
Now, push "Save as..." and save your picture.
Okido, now open your saved 'Charizard' in Paint and fill the picture with the background-color.
[8/10 times it's that green color.]
Now, this is for Paint only, do "Edit - Paste from..." and select your saved sprite.
It should load in the upper left corner. Just leave it there and save your image.
[Save it as a 24-bit .BMP]

Editing the title version for Fire Red in my case has been a pain in the butt.
I've done it with photoshop using the correct colors, indexed it, paste it over the original one in paint and other stuff, but it always screws up '
I'm using 256 color mode, in grayscale, as properly said on a previous post.
I did this a long time ago with an old Ruby hack... The titlescreen resulted good, but I remember I had been editing it having used the correct Pallete (yes thats right, the pokemon logo and everything appeared just like in VBA bg viewer, with green background and everything properly colored)
But I can't manage to get my title version done again this way.
Can anybody help me refresh my memory? lol. Haven't touched a rom in ages... since 2004 lol

Oh my God, that is too much, look, i'm too lazy, so someone, named gary, taught me
a way to make it easier and faster

1.- First, open in Paint an image with the size of 72 x 120 and color all of it BLACK
2.- Paste the sprite that you want in the title screen on the black colored picture. Save it as GIF
NOTE: If the sprite you are inserting has some lines that are blacn, R:0 G:0 B:0 color
that lines with another color very very very very similar of black, but it dont have to be
RGB : 000 Because that is the transparecy color
3.- Index that picture, you can use any program that you know to index, PhotoShop is
the one i use Index it in 16 colours. Save it as GIF
4.- Open that picture in Cyclone and put the order the image in the other side.
5.- Save the raw and insert it in the rom, and then just change the palls
and there is your Title Screen..

Glitch: Changing the palls, it happens the same that happens with a TitleScreen in
Ruby, the "POKEMON FIRE RED VERSION" messes up...

Then just use your imagination to make super title screens in FireRed, an example:

Anyway, Has anybody tried importing Venusaur and the Venusaur tilemap rom Leaf Green to Fire Red?
I remember once me doing that time ago... but with R/S. I imported the Sapphire tilemap and Kyogre into Ruby and it worked perfectly. I don't remember if I did anything else on it... but it was Sapphire's titlescreen indeed... and it was Ruby.

Okay! Sorry for double posting...
Well I got something good that could help a few on their hacks.
As we can all see, it's better editing Venusaur from LG than Charizard in FR, because you can't fit something very well over Charizard's image...
Well, just wanted to show you guys you could all do this:

How was that Ho-oh in the Leaf Green tutorial placed?? It was placed THANKS to Venusaurs size... and it's easier to arrange the Venusaur image than arranging Charizard's.
You just need to follow the same steps in this guide. Save the image in black & white.
Grab a Leaf Green rom, go to 2012 which is Venusaur's image. Export it, after this hit "Next"
You'll see a "messed up something" very similar to the one we saw in the tutorial in page 4, Hit RAW DUMP.
Okay your done with Leaf Green... Open your Fire Red Rom. Goto 2012, then go to File - LOAD RAW. Load the raw you dumped from Leaf Green and then Write To Rom. Then go to 2011 which is Charizard and click "Import", choose the Venusaur image you exported earlier from Leaf Green and import it.
On that window with a few options, uncheck the "Auto abort if new data is bigger" and check the "Automatically fix pointers", Search for empty space in your ROM and set a new Image Offset. Click "ok" and you are done. Test your fire red ROM and you'll have the same exact image of Fire Red with Venusaur's image.
It's something very simple to do... If some of you just want to go through a quick way, do this I just explained. It's more comfortable editing Venusaur than Charizard for the titlescreen.

By the way... This is an old titlescreen of mine of a Ruby hack:

I did the "Crystal Clear" version logo with photoshop, indexed it and all, But when I do this with Fire Red I always mess it up. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong? I've even used the right colors... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong

Yes, the title screen that i showed up in this page:


I made it that way, i change the title screen in LeafGrean and insert all (the picture
and the tile map) to FireRed and it worked
The problem in your name "CRYSTAL ..." is that, FireRed isnt the same as
Ruby, the colors are different (in Black and White), just try to recolor everything, all
the pixels have to be with the FR colors It would take a long time, but just be patience xD
