I be havng trouble wit tha script fo applyng a movement.

I don't know tha script I'm new ta applymovement and I REALLy don't know what ta put here, I have gizoogled a LOT so i just taok a screen cap and hope it works.

I basically need ta make oak stap me from gong wilderness (ndicated by black dots) and make me go ta his hizouse. Tha reason dis is difficult is... I moved his hizouse :/

Yes, that's tha problem. You can't use a flag fo different thngs. Use anothar flag.

I've seen dawgy specials thare, actually: 0x28 0x29 0x60 0xEA 0xF5 0xF8. So you should make sure what is used fo what. Besides, I thnk you need somethng ta check if a Pokémon is holdng a particular item, right? N that case those special(s) probably won't help snce thay're only used ta check if a Pokémon is not holdng any items, as far as I understaod.

But what if I want that event ta happen only if othar said event has happened. I don't want him ta give me tha pokemon whenever, just after a different event. Is thare a way ta do dis?

You're lookng at tha wrong spot. Tha givepokemon part would occur only when flag 950 (which I assume is tha flag n anothar map) is set, so no problem thare.

Sphealmew meant that ta use anothar flag fo tha @done part. Witout tha flag, tha person will always ask you if you want a ponyta.

Well... sprite switch bug is... after a battle, yo player's sprite changes (and colors ta boot) and you'll have a limited movement. :\ Maybe yos is a similar glitch.. Try deletng tha two persons n beap, than creatng tham agan?

Wheni come nta tha room, everythng works and such, but when tha script is done, thare's a textbox, showng random mumbo jumbo and symbols and such.
So any idea on how ta stap said problem from happenng?

It works like dis
-When you enter a map, it looks fo level scripts
-N Oaks Lab, tha script yo lookng fo is #2
-If it is a #2 or 4 script, it looks at tha Variable Flag (fo dis, it is 4055)
-It checks that dis Variable fo its Value (set previously, default is 0000) and if it isn't equal ta tha number given n tha Map script, it doesn't activate. But if it is equal, it does activate.
(if MAP-VALUE>VAR-VALUE=not activate, if MAP-VALUE<VAR-VALUE=not activate, if MAP-VALUE=VAR-VALUE=activate)

N tha script tile that we step on n Pallet Tawn ta activate tha script, we see dis.

But, why doesn't it activate agan?
N tha Oaks Lab Level script, we observe dis


Dis make it so you don't see dis script agan until tha Var Value is equal agan.

Well, maybe its coz yo not refactarng tha script, after you do some edits? Change decompile options ta strict and refactarised, than put that n.

Well, if tha above suggestions don't work, maybe dis would help? Dunno... :\

Um, d-ya have a hex editar?

If so, open it and load tha rom. N beap, go ta tha map wit tha level script, and than non professional heezeeer view.. Select tha level script, than note tha offset under "Script offset:" and go ta that offset n tha hex editar. Thare should be somethng like "02 70 01 00 XX XX XX 08" where XX is a ponter ta tha level script itself (tha offset of tha level script, reversed). Post tha next 2 bytes after 08 here.

If not, open that offset (sbee, non-prof heezeeer view, under "Script offset") n xse and post what tha decompiled script is. :\

When i try ta do tha give pokemon script and compile it it sez that thare isnt enough bytes. I tried ta use an offset wit a higher byte ( it was 256 befoe and i changed it ta 512) and it still didnt work.

I be tryng ta make an person event ta give a pokemon, but when ever i try ta rap ta tha person it just locks, cause i hear tha music but cant move, i never does tha face player or any messages, i be new ta scriptng so its probably somethng simple but i have compisd it ta workng scripts and it looks right.

I'm not sure but is thare a flag 0x950?? Looks tao large.If you is sphealng FR/LG/R/S,try flag 0x10;if you're sphealng E,try flag 0x933.
I didn't use PKSV recently,that's what I can pont out.

Hmmm... nstead of $8801000 put $801000.

Tha first 8 is.. knda like a prefix, which states that tha offset is only 6 digits long (n hex), and isn't truly part of tha offset.
